Not as clean as you would hope, especially with COVID-19 being so prevalent in Florida. There walkways don't look as though they have been vacuumed recently. There was a stain on our bedsheets that we couldn't get out ourselves. The mini fridge had mold/mildew on some of the shelves and one of the bars was missing, which meant we couldn't use the door space. The room temp wouldn't get cool and it was incredibly muggy in the room. The air vents also looked like they haven't been cleaned in a while. They did provide sanitizing wipes in the rooms and had multiple sanitizing stations. The general manager seemed pleasant and was observed to be very professional and courteous when dealing with individual complaints about the reduced amenities.

I believe that the embassy of old is long gone... there is no more cook to order breakfast there's no more breakfast at all nothing hot they want you to take a bag with an apple and a muffin in it. The one thing the embassy had over the other Hilton properties as if they had their cooked ordered breakfast I miss that...they are no different than any of the other Hilton properties now.

Outstanding customer service from all the staff, especially front desk. The room and common areas were really clean. Location is great and even though location is by the interstate, the noise level was practically nonexistent!!

I would not recommend this hotel. The room was fine; it’s your standard hotel and pretty clean. However, there was a wedding here last night (Saturday) and the wedding party decided to continue the celebration in the hotel bar. Unfortunately, when you mix a rowdy crowd with a hotel that has an “open” floor plan, all of the noise carries throughout the hotel to all the rooms. At 11pm I went to the lobby to see what the commotion was that was keeping us up; upon seeing the bar overflowing with people, I asked one of the hotel staff if they could do something about the noise. The response I received was, “My apologies. We’re doing what we can to get them to quiet down a little. They’re celebrating a wedding. But it should only be another hour/hour and a half and they’ll be done.” This was a completely unacceptable response, in my opinion. I understand that the wedding party likely paid to have their reception at the hotel and the hotel was earning money off their bar purchases- but the rest of us paid money as well, to get a good night’s sleep. Shame on the hotel for prioritizing the wedding guests (I’m sure because of the revenue they were earning), and shame on that wedding party for being so loud. If you want to be rowdy, go to and actual bar- not an establishment where people are trying to sleep.

This is not a rating of the hotel, but of the meal and wait staff, which I have had the pleasure of experiencing four times over the past year during company meetings held there. The food is outstanding. Great presentation and as good as "homemade." (Be sure to get their canoli!) But the real pleasure is interacting with the wait staff, who deliver an experience as good as, if not better than a fine restaurant. And keep in mind that due to the nature of this meal, these employees are not working for tips! They are just genuinely kind, helpful, pleasant staff who go out of their way to deliver an exceptional experience. Thank you.

Although we only stayed at the Embassy Suites in Tampa Brandon one night, the experience we received in the morning during breakfast was GREAT! The entire staff was super friendly! I was happy to see that it wasn’t just a simple continental breakfast, they actually have an omelet station. Staying here was a great start to our vacation!

One of the best Embassy Suites that I’ve visited. The rooms are updated and spacious, the gym is well-equipped, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is above average (try the pizza). The bartender, Jared, was gracious and kept the glasses full friendly during the evening reception. This is where I’ll stay on future Tampa visits.

Stayed here while attending a concert in the area. Loved the cleanliness and well maintained atmosphere. The evening socials are a great way to unwind, and talk with other guests. Free hot breakfast was really good and there was a cook to order egg and Belgian waffle station.

Wonderful place to stay. The room was very nice. The staff excellent. We were surprised to be able to check in earlier than planned which really made our day. We were getting away from red tide beaches. Lovely evening reception with drinks and snacks. We were celebrating our 35 anniversary finally after many delays and cancelled beach plans.
The hotel sent up chocolate covered strawberries and wine to enjoy. The beds were comfy and the room spotless. In the morning there was a free breakfast with omelets made to order and all the trimmings. What a great place. We will be back and send friends and family!

Wonderful service and super friendly, helpful staff. Anie and the other women in the breakfast area were fabulous. Clean place to stay and the breakfast and evening snacks were great. The pool was clean and the surrounding area is very nice. We had an awesome stay.

Understaffed or something along the lines or poor management. The staff is polite and nice it’s just our room was not ready at check in time and through the whole night till at least 2:30 am people were running up and down the halls slamming doors. We called and the excuse they gave was that they are understaffed. Very nice looking hotel though, truly beautiful. Nice outside pool.

Rooms are nice and spacious. Free snacks, drinks, and candy. They also do a reception hour where they have free drinks, beer, wine, liquor, and snacks in the evening. My only complaint is that the shower wasn't hot but I did only shower once for the night I stayed.

Nice people but hotel needs some work. Example mirror has seen better days. Free "mixer" from 5:30 to 7--- food is lame compared to other Embassy suites.

I stayed there for a work trip. I would stay again. It is typical layout for embassy hotels. It has been renovated, but looks nice in the rooms

The rooms are always spotless and having stayed here multiple times for business we've made this hotel our de facto location for our dealings in Tampa. The breakfast is large and well staffed, service from the front desk to the restaurant is always kind, and the building is delightful in the interior. Only detractor is being sort of tucked back away from the restaurants nearby but also the backside facing the busy road.

One of my favorite embassy suites. The location is easily accessible to Major roads but it's quiet inside. Amazing staff.

Enjoyed my stay, I've heard people say that " there's no place like home", well I beg to differ, my stay was better than being home. From the staff down to the best breakfast that I didn't have to cook myself was great. I can't say enough, awesome.

Spacious clean rooms with kitchenette, plus living/dining area separate from bedroom. Hot buffet style breakfast included for no additional charge. Location location!! Highly recommended!

My husband and I just completed a 3 day stay & as HHonors members we were well pleased. The staff was welcoming & pleasant. Room clean, continental breakfast was WONDERFUL, we also enjoyed the complimentary HAPPY hour welcome drinks. Prior to our arrival we made the UNFORTUNATE mistake of checking in to the Quality inn ( and left immediately because it was unclear & stunk of marijuana). We called Hilton reservation, found out Embassy suites was minutes away, and so we booked our suite. Upon arrival the reception agent saw we were a bit upset & made an inquiry. We explained our present state & she assured us of the wonderful experience to come. The next evening we were greeted at our suite with a hospitality gift & a wonderful note of sympathy for our unpleasant experience at Quality inn. The little thing matter. Thank you all for caring of the wellbeing of my Husband, child & I. We will see you again.

The hotel is fantastic. One of the main aspects we look for is the bed. Happy to report the bed is great. Not too soft, not too firm. Parking is free, another draw compared to similar rated hotels where they charge. Also, free breakfast (if you purchase the room at a higher rate). Totally worth it, made to order omelet tea and a pretty decent selection. At night around 5-7 they host an open bar for hotel guests, just a really nice touch. The downside is it's a little bit out of the way to get to, you do have to go past where you think an entrance is, but it is further down a side street and you turn back towards the hotel. Not really within walking distance of much, but they do have a hotel restaurants. All in all, it's a really nice hotel and a great value for what we received. We had an excellent stay.

Loved it! The rooms are set up real nice. The breakfast tasted really really good. The free happy hour drinks were a great touch as well.

I've always stayed away from reserving at 4 and 5 star hotels merely for the affordability factor. Embassy Suites has changed all that. For the price of this room, we were able to enjoy a free happy hour with likely $20-30 in drinks, a full breakfast with eggs, bacon, bagels, rolls, pancakes, fruit... You name it... Probably $15-20 per person. Access to the free internet and printers in their business room and free upgrade due to Priceline screw up, they were very accommodating to the situation. Beds and pillows both comfortable and very clean rooms. A+. If you have a bad experience here it's only because you were an ass.

It wasn't what I expected for the rates. I have stayed at many different Embassy Suites and this was the only time I've been disappointed. My room smelled a little funny, not unbearable but I felt like I brought the smell on me out of the room. The pool was super cloudy and the chemicals were strong. My kids wanted to go swimming and I noticed my youngest's eyes were swollen and puffy so had them get out. The next day the pool was closed, we asked about it, apparently other guests complained about a rash. They didn't seem too concerned with our complaint but did take our name and number with no follow up. I will most likely avoid them in the future, the only reason I'm giving the second star is because thier breakfast staff is amazing. So helpful and pleasant, we enjoyed our breakfast experiences both mornings.

I visited the embassy sweet to rent a car from avis. The staff at the embassy suites was very nice and friendly. The whole area was clean inside and out. I loved the waiting are where I can put my feet up and get comfy while I wait

The hotel was very nice and well appointed. I went to a business seminar there and the staff was accommodating and on point for all of our needs! I would definitely recommend holding an event here!

The best place to stay! The first night we stayed, there was cookies, brownies and milk left for us to thank us for staying. They have a buffet breakfast every morning for free and every night a mixer at the bar for 2 hours. The room we had was clean and very comfy! I will definitely stay here again!

Awesome place, clean, renovated and super comfortable, rooms are spacious and they smell like new, The staff who was in charge of the breakfast was amazing Justin and Michael prepared the best omelette EVER! My wife is pregnant and she said that it was the most tasty breakfasts that she had in a Hilton ever! Mrs Millie was also a sweetheart she moved heaven and earth to get my a tray, and she constantly checked on us to see if everything was in order, it was Christmas morning, and everyone was smiling and they all showed the best attitude and disposition, great crew, the company must be very proud to have them on board! We are happy, and we definitely recommend this hotel!

I have no complaints with this hotel at all. Room was clean, rate was very reasonable considering what was included with the room. Best complimentary breakfast (buffet) I've ever seen! Made to order omelets or waffles, hot bar, fresh cut fruit, juices, and pastries! More than some restaurants. And there was also a complimentary happy hour which included mixed drinks each day! With snacks! I could've just stayed at the hotel most days. This was a great hotel with great amenities at a reasonable price. I've never reviewed a hotel before but thought I needed to for this one!

Hotel is easy to get to, although butted up against a major thoroughfare, so expect light and traffic through your windows if you are on the back side of the hotel. Amenities are great, full breakfast included. Watched basketball at the restaurant later in the evening and the food at least looked good as others ordered. Room was great, spacious, and clean. Would choose this place again next time I'm in town for business

Large meeting rooms, two room suites, and inviting common areas are only the start for having a professional stay. The full hot breakfast buffet starts your networking out right along with a cup of coffee. The staff was friendly helpful and attentive. With Top Golf, Dave and Busters, and other local places of interest, this is the perfect place for professionals to stay and play

I was here on business setup by my company and I thought the location kinda stunk by that's just me. Shower lacked as it was leaky and would never get hot enough the week I was there. Overall I would stay again on my own dime if ever need a place in the area.

The only thing they could do better is invest in some better beds. on our last day at this hotel we purchased Busch Garden tickets this proved to be an excellent choice with cost savings well over $150.

I have stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Brandon on two different occasions now for business and both experiences have been great! For my most recent stay, my room was well kept and clean and the complimentary evening reception was fantastic and had quality drinks and snacks. During the first night of my stay, I contracted guest services/front desk to inquire about anybaccomodations they offer to breastfeeding moms that are traveling. I was immediately offered the option to either refrigerate or freeze my milk via the kitchen. This gave me such peace of mind and provided a relief because I had been stressing over how I would keep my pumped milk at a safe temperature during storage and shipment so it would still be safe for my daughter to drink. It may not seem like anything over the top to some, but accommodations like this that ultimately help me along my breastfeeding journey and brings me closer to reaching my goal are a game changer in my outlook and the outcome of my successes.

We stayed in a king size bed suite. The room was spotless and the accommodations were so comfortable. In the morning the breakfast buffet was cooked to order and the service was superb! I won't stay anywhere else in the future :)

This hotel proved to be an awesome place to have our family reuion. The breakfast was great and the service was amazing. I felt welcomed and valued.

First time back since it was renovated. It's nicely done. The room was clean and the layout is great for me, the hubs, and 3 kids. The breakfast was actually really good. All the food was fresh; didn't seem to be sitting for long. There is an omelet bar but the line was long and I didn't feel like waiting so I guess it must be good. The wait staff was very attentive; clearing plates quickly. I always book here when in town and I've never been disappointed.

Amazing hotel, the rooms are clean spacious and the staff is friendly and a very helpful attitude. Breakfast was delicious and there was no rush to close the restaurant after breakfast schedule ended. I would stay there Everytime I can.

Can't go wrong with Embassy Suites! All rooms have seperate bedroom, living room with couch, desk and 2 large Televisions. Great cooked to order Breakfasts included and free evening cocktails. All the upgrades one would expect from a Hilton subsidiary.

We arrived super early (around 10 am) expecting to just drop off luggage, but the staff at the hotel were able to get us into our room hours before we intended. Everything has been wonderful here. I would definitely come back!

The mini suite I stayed in was more than accommodating, I was in for business and every day at noon the hotel provided lunch which was great compared to what you expect. The hotel staff was very kind and attentive. The conference room was a little small but it served its purpose very well. All in all a great stay!

I love Embassy Suites in Brandon Tampa. Friendly service and big breakfast buffet is so good. The only complaint I have about them is when I tried to booked it again for this year on the same date and time the price jumped up really high from last year.
Now we have to stay somewhere else 🙁

As a Hilton team member from a different location, I always have high standards for all Hilton brands. I walked in to check in and was immediately greeted by Michelle at the front desk. She was incredible. So polite, helpful, genuine, and a true example of great hospitality. Although there was a problem with my room due to booking through a third party website, she went out of her way to show that she cared and that my needs were met. First impressions weigh a lot and Michelle provided an outstanding one. The hotel is beautiful and my stay was a great experience.

The rooms where up to date, clean and spacious. The staff was very hospitable and the free breakfast was amazing. Made to order waffles, omelets and more. Even the evening cocktail hour was nice.

Always love the Embassy Properties and their set up, but the Brandon location is unexpectedly smaller than previous Embassy Suites properties on the East Coast. Hence, the 4 star instead of 5 five rating. We love Hilton properties, they are always amazing and their free made to order breakfast is filling and delicious.

We were there for a week, last week and also spent a week there last year. We absolutely look forward to staying here and seeing our favorite employees that work there. It really made us feel so good knowing that Jared and Ashleigh remembered us from last year. Another big shout out to Lance at the Front Desk, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was satisfactory. All the staff we came in contact with were very friendly and professional. We will be back again next year and can't wait to see everyone again.

Nice, clean, what you would expect from an Embassy Suites. Fresh custom omelets are always a hit. None of the vending machines were stocked with drinks. When I went down to guest services, I was told they have some for sale. However they were $3 each instead of $2. Stuff like that annoys me. They should have comped the drink and sold it to me for $2.

Very nice and clean. Looked great and the beds were comfortable. Happy Hour in the evenings, and a breakfast bar with omelets made to order, waffles, and other standard breakfast items. The juice machine was broken when we were there, but everything else was great. Definitely recommended.

AMAZING! !! The breakfast is far above any other breakfast I have seen at a hotel. They have chefs for omelettes, heated pool, indoor lounge if you desire. The location is perfect for shopping and the hotel is very spacious. Completely recommend it, very clean and the staff is just waiting to help you.

Very clean and newly renovated hotel. The rooms are very nice and clean. The linens are soft and they have feather pillows. The breakfast has a great variety that offers both hot and cold foods and several beverage choices. They prepare made to order omelets.

We came to Tampa for my husband and cousin birthday and stay here. This Hotel was very lovely. The Staff we're so welcoming and sweet. They made sure we had everything we need plus more. Was ready and willing to assist with any questions or needs they felt we may have. The room was nice and clean. Happy hour was fun interacting with others and waking up to a wonderful breakfast I really enjoyed the Cook he had a great personality and made our omelets with a warm friendly smile. Great job if I ever visit Tampa again I know where I will be staying

The overall experience was amazing. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was not your average breakfast, if you left hungry, or couldn't find anything to eat, it is your own fault. The manger's happy hour gives you a chance to mingle with other guest. The only reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars, was trouble accessing the internet. Out of 8 guys the staff couldn't get one of our phones to connect. Other than that, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Have you ever heard the phrase a home away from home? That was my experience at Embassy Suites Brandon, FL. My experience began at check in with the front desk staff and continued to the evening reception with one of the most amazing bartenders I have ever met in a hotel environment. Next, I decided to take a swim. The water was soft and felt like bath water. The first time in more than 10 years I was able take a late night relaxing swim. Amazing is an understatement. At this point everyone was so helpful that I felt like a visiting relative. Finally, I went to the cook to order breakfast event and felt like the staff had some kind of 6th sense about what I would like to eat. Molly was very helpful explaining what items were available at each breakfast station. Her smile, politeness, and professionalism were refreshing not only to me but all the guests. If you truly want to visit Tampa with a relaxing home away home experience this would be the hotel of choice, Embassy Suites Brandon. The next best thing to being there.

Embassy Suites Tampa-Brandon and ALL of their staff are absolutely AMAZING!!! My husband and I had such a great experience from the very beginning with Kayla. She allowed us to visit the hotel multiple times and see the ballroom when it was set up for another event. I felt comfortable emailing Kayla any questions I had and she responded promptly. She was amazing to work with and helped us plan our special day :)
The day before the wedding myself and many of our guests booked rooms and they are very spacious,comfy and clean! The front desk staff was the best; very friendly and accommodating.
The day of my wedding I was not worried at all about my reception because Joe and his amazing staff took care of everything! All I had to do was give them my items for the reception! I can not say enough about how wonderful they are. Joe kept checking on me throughout the day. He kept asking if I had enough to eat and if there was anything I needed. He is so genuine and perfect for his job! I was able to just focus on enjoying my day.
As for the reception, it was everything I had dreamed of and more. This is all due to Joe and his staff. All of our guests commented to my husband and I about how great the staff was and how beautiful the reception was. My Uncle asked where he could find a cup of coffee. Joe immediately brought my Uncle coffee. My 3 year old nephew didn't like the dinner we ordered for him. The staff brought him a chicken finger plate instead and he gobbled it up! After our reception the staff packed everything up and put it in a secure office until the next morning. When my husband and I went upstairs there were chocolate covered strawberries and wine. These are just a handful of examples from an incredible night!
The next morning Joe and one of the front desk staff helped us take everything to our car.

Staff is corteous, breakfast is really good. I was dissapointed with room location as we were waken up at 730 am by the loud noise of trash being picked up.

Forget about breakfast if you have to be out of that hotel before 7:30am on Saturday or Sunday. There appears to be enough staff around at 7am to open up but the rule is "7:30am, sorry." So what if you leave without their much acclaimed breakfast ...no big deal...it's just their tone of imposition if you ask to grab something to go. I paid for two nights and thought that hospitality was a 24/7 concept. Opening early for the customers for a bagel or yogurt shouldn't require a debate. Otherwise the room was tidy and clean.
