The best thing about this hotel is the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful during our stay. The food was average at best. For the prices they are charging they should be able to provide proper plates and utensils instead of paper products. And when we asked about this we were told that the hotel was cutting back to keep cost down. Well then you should cut prices as well. All in all it was pretty good with plenty of things to do in a close proximity.

I really enjoyed the rooms, they wet very nice. Everything felt fresh and I felt relaxed. I did have one problem, buying a small milk in there store was very very expensive. Besides that the swimming pool was so much fun, the free drinks and literally fish(fish crackers) & chips was nice. The breakfast was worth getting up to eat.i would go back for a mini vacay.

Rooms were very nice. Breakfast is awesome. Has a decent pool. Easy to get to. Service seems nice. Pool did not have towels one day. Phone in pool area did not work to call desk.

Nice but only average for the brand. Hasn't been updated recently and the clientele was more family than business. Focus is more on the casual traveler than the loyalty group members. Better for families, but business people should look a few miles away at Naperville.

Frequent traveler and Austin local, the front desk was super helpful and the breakfast is fine. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. No omelette bar. The decor is really nice and modern. My room’s closet smelled like smoke. I had the best room which was a corner at the end of the horseshoe shape.

We've always stayed at this particular location. The renovation was nice, the rooms are spacious, clean, and well appointed. That being said. The drinks at the managers reception were awful. I've had heartburn for two days! I never have heartburn. The liquor was especially cheap. There's so many kids in this hotel that it looks like an utter mad house during prime hours. The pool is too small for this size hotel. It's nice but, the filters are over whelmed. The water is dirty, real dirty, with lots of hair floating in the pool. There's nobody there to add chemicals, change filters, or other various changes. The kids also think it's funny when they go into the elevator and press the button for every single floor

The reason for 3 stars was the disappointment with breakfast. It was not to the standard of the typical Embassy Suites. Still good, but we stay at Embassy because if their great breakfast options. Not sure if it was just an off day but be aware if you are use to the breakfast like another user noted.

Enjoyed my stay. Front desk was very informative about the area and provided shuttles to and from nearby areas on demand. Rooms were very sizable and clean. Breakfast is good quality. One of my 6 nights I stayed my heat wouldn't turn off and it got up to 84 degrees but it was promply fixed after notifying staff.

Had a lovely stay here. Beautiful hotel and clean rooms. We loved the breakfast options in the morning. We also loved thd tiny bit of the Chicago skyline that we could see from our room. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Would highly suggest staying here as it is close enough to downtown Chicago that we did not have an issue. We also liked the price!

I love the Embassy-brand hotels. I enjoy all the perks that come with staying. Like the evening reception and breakfast. We did have a mishap while we stayed here, and I didn't complain about it when I was there. However, I took the company survey and wrote my frustrations there. The company/manager actually cared enough to send me an email and tried to make things right. As for the room, we stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room was very spacious and I love having a suite, since we have a toddler. The food is always good, every time we stay. The coffee was amazing too! So much so, that I asked the waitress and she even grabbed the coffee box to show me! I went and bought that coffee later that day to have at my house. Every employee that we came across was very nice and helpful.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming. I loved that I had the option to earn points if I didn’t need my room cleaned daily. Such a great idea! The fitness center was great to help me keep in shape while traveling. I won’t stay anywhere else now!

Great service is half the reason for the five star ratings. I just missed the free drink special from 530-730, and the woman at the counter gave me a drink coupon to still get a free drink. I came late to breakfast and they made me a plate of hot food. Just really wonderful staff who go out of their way to help their guests.

The hotel looks very nice. It's location is in an area that has plenty of stores, restaurants and recreational attractions. The staff at the hotel is accommodating. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. My son went to the hotel for a classmate's party. They allowed the children the opportunity to use the pool.

My first visit to the Chicago area was satisfied as soon ad i got to the hotel. I loved it. Everything about this hotel was inviting, warm, comforting. The amenties list goes on and on. I brought my kids with me. But, I was the kid in a candy store. This place... Amazing!

I love it for what it is. It is not a 5 star resort hotel but is great for a close-ish to the airport option. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Great customer service. Seriously every single employee I have run into has been very kind and helpful. The free happy hour is weak but free "wine" is worth what you pay. The bar has better options. The Jacuzzi works well and is nice after a long week.

My room was really nice ,spacious and was acceptably clean. Very professional and courteous check in staff.The bar was well stocked and neat. Great job on the catered lunch and snack.

Semi-luxurious hotel right off the highway, the staff were very friendly and accommodating of me and the wedding group I was with. Rooms were very clean and we received complimentary breakfast and dinner during our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone that needs to stay here for business or for a nice weekend.

Typical Embassy Suites, clean rooms, good service, and amenities. We've been here a couple of times and it has always been extremely busy. Wait times increase, as does the noise. If you need quiet to relax, you might want to stay elsewhere.

Been coming to this location for many years but now I'm done. First of all, I don't appreciate having to sign for my quoted hotel rate plus the additional obligatory fifty-dollar charge that they tack on. So I have to track my credit card charges to make sure that I am not stuck with their extra fee which supposedly gets credited back to me after check-out. Also, wanted to treat the Grandkids that came along to the pool, but they didn't enjoy the ice-cold water and the absence of pool towels. Was looking forward to breakfast only instead of rationing the sausage and bacon like they used to do, this time there was none to be seen.

This is my peace away from home. The staff is quite helpful. Breakfast is always delicious and evening snacks/drinks are great way to end the day. Love this place even more than Downtown Embassy Suites.

Beautiful property. More sleek decor than typical embassy suites properties. Would have given 5 stars but they actually have a lobby/common areas curfew which was a turn off. Wristbands are required for all complimentary activities (evening drinks, pool, breakfast). Waffles but no pancakes or the other way around (can't remember, lol).

I was there for a college meet and greet. The employees knew exactly where to lead us. The room the greet was in was perfect for a meet and greet. There was even food and drink provided. Very wonderful experience.

Embassy suites was a amazing stay. A great atmosphere, the rooms were also good, and the hot breakfast there was amazing!!! You can even order your own omlet!!! Amazing.

This is a modern Embassy Suites with contemporary decor. The location is excellent with a plethora of dining and shopping options nearby. The rooms are spacious and well lit. The staff are friendly and professional. I would highly recommend it.

Clean hotel that has been upgraded nicely. Nice staff and lots of places to lounge and relax. Only complaint was breakfast only had omelets cooked to order unlike some ES hotels that had waffles and pancakes cooked as well. But over it was a great stay and would go back again.

Great place to stay with a really good breakfast. The only thing that concerned me is we paid and reserved with 2 different credit cards and we had a charge paid on both cards. They were helpful with getting the problem resolved. I would recommend to anyone.

We organized an after hours event for the women of our office group. It was a wine and paint event. Tina, the sales manager, was more than accommodating. Our event included a bar that was set up just outside the room for us, as well as hot and cold appetizers. Everything was done to perfection, including service from all the hotel staff. We plan on hosting more events at Embassy Suites Lombard in the near future.

Staff is amazing. From the front desk to the cleaning crew to the staff in the restaurant. My family and I had to have an extended stay for over a month and everyone on staff was amazing. Always going the extra mile. Orlando the manager for room service was outstanding.

We went in on a Friday night.. room exceptionally clean. amazed. What i found very pleasant is that all the employees there were extremely helpful and very friendly. I would highly recommend this Embassy suites to anyone.. for most supersedes all the other locations i have stayed at in the past. Last note the breakfast bar is the best.

This hotel is amazing! All of the rooms are suites. The glass elevators look down into the pavilion. The free and delicious breakfast is awesome! The food at the Bar/Restaurant is also delicious. The pool is very relaxing. I'd highly recommend staying multiple nights here.

I love it....it was my daughter's 12th Birthday..and she wanted to stay here with 4 of her friends. They loved the pool stay was very,very nice and friendly. Breakfast was delicious... awesome place my 17 old wants to come back for her birthday in 2 weeks...

As far as hotel stays go, I would be hard pressed to find a better experience somewhere else. Between the large suite, omelet bar, and excellent staff, I couldn't be more pleased with my stay. Embassy Suites is by far the gold standard for hotels. Whenever I stay somewhere else, I find myself comparing my experience to that at Embassy Suites, and everything else pales compared to this hotel. The rooms were clean and modern, however some may consider the lighting somewhat dim in the rooms. The bed was comfortable, not too firm, and there were two TV's in my king suite. As for breakfast, the omelet bar is separated from the main area, making it slightly difficult to find, but the friendly staff showed me without any trouble.

I would like to thank the staff from April 29 at Lombard Embassy Suites. Mashanda at the front desk kept my son's lost Ipod at the desk when he left it on the front door area. The pool staff, security, and bar staff were awesome! Everything was so clean and welcoming. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. This is a great hotel for families and groups.

Room was excellent. We got upgraded after asking. A few downfalls...We have a 10 month and he couldn't 'try' to swim because the pool was very cold. I thought this was heated and we were all cold. Next downfall was our room key. We tried the digital room key and hasn't worked. We went down 2xs and still nothing. Even had trouble with the regular card key.

Excellent location, the rooms are nice and we'll kept. The staff is polite and helpful. Conference rooms are comfortable with good amenities.

Great hotel. Great free breakfast options, great staff, great gym equipment, and great location for where I needed to be. There's plenty of shops, restaurants, etc right across the street. I will DEFINITELY be back. I had a room on the 9th floor. Peaceful and very nice 1 bed suite. small fridge and microwave in the room. This was a great stay. There's also a shuttle that will take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius--which is alot of options. I am very pleased.

Breakfast ends early. Check in is late. Check out is early compared to other hilton hotels. Very nice rooms. Nice pool and hot tub. Free breakfast and evening social is nice. Downtown is a frustrating hour drive by car. There are endless choices for dining near by. Several in walking distance. Staff is nice and helpful.

Love the big rooms. Very nicely remodeled inside. Beds were a little too firm. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Stopped in to check out the remodel for a possible upcoming corporate event. Everything looks great & more modern. We also tried a couple of apps in the bar area. Veggie pot stickers & cheese curds. Both are truly great! The servers were friendly & attentive.

Every time I visit illinois I always stay at the embassy oakbrook. The staff is great and the rooms are wonderful. Love the whole feel of this place. You get so much for the money. Great breakfast and evening reception is always great. Nothing bad to say about this hotel. It's a gem!

Nice place. The refresh looks much better. Breakfast is good. The only bad thing about this place is the kids that run around the floors past 10pm. I've stayed here 5 times and every time kids are running around.

We stayed here just to swim on Nov. 12th. I had seen that there was construction on the Hotel, so I called from My Hilton & spoke w/ Joshua, who did EVERYTHING he could to get me close to the pool, and answer ALL of the many questions I had!! Being a Hilton employee, I was VERY IMPRESSED with his professionalism and kindness!!! The rooms were clean and nice (I did have the faucet fall off onto my ankle in the morning, but the staff addressed that as well!). my next little mini vacation will be there because of Joshua & the wonderful staff!!! The front desk staff was also great>let me check in early!! (I didn't catch the name!). Food was excellent! Thank you for a fun stay!

It was a beautiful hotel. They did have renovations going on but that didn't interfere with business. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were beautiful. The staff was super nice. I wish we had time for the pool but that too looked awesome.

Embassy Suites in Lombard/Oak Brook Illinois was a great hotel. The rooms are spacious and customer service was great! Although they are updating the hotel and had construction going on, it did not interfere with the peaceful time we spent there! I would definitely go back!

Lots of construction was happening at the time of my stay but it's going to look amazing once their complete. I had no issues with check-in. The evening reception was great and the morning breakfast was awesome too. It's located right off the interstate. Best part, there are many places to eat within walking distance and a movie theater across the street. Teens will not be bored!!! Very safe area!!!!

I hesitated to book 2 nights at Embassy Suites Lombard due to potential construction noise. I did, however, and despite the unattractive tarps & debris, and slightly inconvenient temporary entrance, a sign in the makeshift "lobby" assures us that there will be no construction noise between 9am-5pm. It was true (for me, anyway).
They could use better pillows and lighting, but location was convenient, rooms were clean, and staff was friendly.

I love the staff, so helpful. The bar was nice and so were the coy ponds. Large rooms and lots of shopping near by

From the minute I stepped into the hotel to the minute I left I was very happy with the service and atmosphere I got for what I payed. The lobby is very nice with water features and the rooms are spacious and well kept.

The Embassy Suites is a great hotel and I will definitely be back. I am a woman and had a golf event and had tons of luggage that was too much for me to lift after a long day of work and the 2 gentlemen at the front desk, Josh and Mike were great at getting me the assistance I needed. Mike was very helpful and assisted with all of my needs for my luggage and even helped me arrange my room for my event the next day. The only negative would be the room furniture seemed a bit outdated but not a deal breaker. Cant wait to come back!!!

I was impressed with most things about the hotel. It was clean, the breakfast was good, and the housekeeping folks were polite. The front desk staff was ok, but were not as professional as they should be (they were complaining about another guest right in front of me). The "C-Store" was a terrible experience including an incredibly rude associate who acted like I was interfering with her cell phone conversation. The prices there were hilarious.
