Beautiful hotel! Clean room and great service. The main floor had a bar and a restaurant. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had!! I will definitely be staying there again!

Friendly staff and good breakfast. The interior of the hotel is quite unique for an embassy suites as the complex is really big with a central lobby courtyard. The managers special is quite good especially from drinks point with lots of choices one of the best that I've experienced at an embassy suites with lots of different cocktails. Food is on the thrifty side...mainly snacks. Rooms are large and spacious. Nothing much around the hotel as it's located in the middle of a office area. There are a couple of eateries a couple of mins from the hotel.

I absolutely love the way the rooms are set up at this hotel. Very luxury styled. The front desk people were very nice and hospitable. The cleaning staff were nice and attentive as well. The only issue that I had at the hotel was one morning the chef cooked omelettes. He had about eight omelette being made at one time someone picked up my mother's omelette by accident. And once she noticed that it was not her omelette she gave it back to the chef. The chef asked who the omelet was for and my mother said that is hers, but she no longer wanted it because the lady had been speaking over the omlette. He stated that it had not been touched so he did not understand why she did not want it. My mother wanted another omelette to be made but he semi refused. We did inform the manager that was walking the floor during breakfast time of the incident and she act very matter-of-fact about the situation once we told her what happened.

This has to be my best hotel experience so far in all the Hilton hotels I have stayed at throughout the country. Always happy to return. Great customer service. Even better breakfast and dinner! ;)

The hotel was hidden back from the streef and wasn't much to look at from the outside, but it was very nice inside. The service was wonderful. Every employee we had contact with was kind courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. It did not feel right with me, my wife, and our four small children. The best part of the stay are the complementary happy hour and breakfast. These consisted of free snacks and beverage's in the evening, and a delicious breakfast including made to order omelettes. Everyone, even my picky eaters found something they likes.

This was a nice treat away with my daughter. We stayed on the top floor. The room was not in the greatest shape, could see water damage on the ceiling, furniture was in good condition, the wall paper was damaged by the furniture. There was no tub in the bathroom which was ok. The view we had, we could see down into the pool which was cool.

Happy Hour bartenders had a little bit of an attitude and I asked a simple question. Never been to an Embassy Suites and didn't know how the free Happy Hour worked. That is a nice feature and the snacks were good.

Check in was easy and was asked if this was my first time here. Very warm welcoming from the front desk staff.

Indoor pool is one of the best I have seen and experienced in a long time. Hot tub was nice and hot :)

Hotel is near a lot of attractions, eating, and shopping.

Looking forward to staying here again!

The staff here was very friendly and helpful. We went to the happy hour, and it was great! They had some appetizers for free, and you also got to have three free drinks (the bartenders were very generous with the liquor too). The breakfast was by far my absolute favorite part of our stay though. They had an omelette station where someone would make a personalized omelette for you, and there were tons of options for you to choose from to put in it! The rest of the breakfast buffet was full of hot and cold options. It was fabulous.
The rooms; however, were just meh... Our room looked dated, had a messed up television and smelled a bit like someone had smoked in it at one point. If it weren't for that, I would have given this place a five star absolutely!

Been going here for 30 years. Has been going down hill for the last few years. Rooms need to be cleaned better, clean the pool, fix elevators, ad update the linens ad television service. The price is cheaper than comparable, local hotels, but these are the reasons why. I have stayed there probably 30 times in my life. Trust my review.

I think it's a nice hotel but others have said it's old and needing of an update. Rooms are clean, beds comfy, free breakfast and drink coupons in the evening. I would come back!

Excellent hotel I've stayed here many times and have always enjoyed my stay. Breakfast in the morning is great and the bar/restaurant is good. Happy hour is a nice bonus.

The best part of staying at the Embassy Suites was Ray’s customer service at breakfast every morning. Ray was so helpful and happy each and every day to myself and all the other hotel guests. I’d highly recommend management utilizing him in a larger role in the future.

I spent the night here in early spring. I had a blast to say the very least! There were lots of breakfast options. Thank-you so much Embassy for setting your minimum booking age to 18. Young travelers really appreciate that.

Went for wedding present opening. The room was provided free for the amount of guests staying at the hotel for the wedding. Very clean. My only part I would change, there needed to be a sign for the door.

So much fun! The snack bar was wonderful and the staff was very nice. Enjoyed my time with my family.

The best breakfast ever! Especially with the specialized omelette and egg making station and a chef to serve. All of the staff is helpful and kind. Stayed there a night before attending a funeral. Was able to get a good night sleep.

Can be easy to miss at night time due to the round abouts. Other than that, a great place to stay with family and/or business!

Good stay if you are in the main bed. If you are an extra in the room though the beds provided and very uncomfortable. Other than that the hotel is nice and the employees are very polite.

The room was a little bit dusty... witch bothered my allergies. But not terrible. Some of the cracks were showing. The baseboard had peeled back in one section by the nightstand I could see a giant peanut M&M wedged between the wall and the baseboard. It just sat there staring at me. The bed was a little bit firmer than I'm used to. But again not terrible. The location was very convenient for my morning meeting.

Attended a social event in one of the suites. The room was clean and well stocked. Plenty of seating and space to gather and talk. Staff was polite and helpful.

Solid Choice for the area. Stayed here many times. Property is a bit on the older side, but always a very comfortable stay. Super staff, great management and an overall quality choice for the area.

Of course, the free breakfast is by far the best in the industry; and the daily manager's reception offers a great way to wind down at the end of the day. Very spacious hotel, with huge rooms and free parking makes this hotel a top choice for most any traveler. By far, my #1 choice in the area.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Our favorite bartender, Golam, is fantastic and we love seeing him everytime we come! They have a nice size pool and a hot tub. There is also a workout room and a bar with small plate menu. I highly recommend staying here if you're staying in the area!

The hotel could use some updating. The indoor swimming pool was cold. We used it as a meeting place for our out of town friends to celebrate Christmas. The best part is the happy hour at the hotel bar!

The rooms were very nice. I enjoyed their breakfast, which had a large selection of items. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I was there for a staff Christmas party in one of the event rooms. The space was secluded and any lobby noise was not heard during our event. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome.

Unfortunately the hotel was histing a youth soccer team that weekend. The children and teens wreaked havoc and broke elevators and trashed the lobby. It's not worth paying the extra money for the "suite". Several complaints to the front desk by myself and others were ignored. Nice hotel but negligent manager.

The hotel staff is really friendly. The breakfast is really good and fresh. The on-site gym is clean and there different machines and weights to use. The only issue I have with the hotel is the decor is old. If the hotel had a makeover and was more modern that would for sure make it a 5 star. Overall it’s a good hotel.

Room was clean. Walls are thin. I heard my neighbors conversations nightly. Staff was very courteous and professional. Overall I was a great place to stay.

Truly loved it. The staff was awesome. There was an issue with the reservation and the manager assisted by going beyond my expectations. One of the best Embassy Suites I have visited in a while. The atmosphere was top notch.

I had a great stay. The front desk clerks were extremely helpful and friendly. The place was always clean. I appreciated that the fitness room had weightlifting equipment in addition to the treadmills. I also liked that they had a full hot breakfast bar and free drinks and snacks in the evening. Definitely coming back.

Our experience at this hotel was out of this world. Jay in particular was extra special to my family. My little girl wanted her grandparents on the same floor as us and he made magic happen during a busy weekend. She says she has a new friend. I will always stay at an Embassy Suites over any other hotel because of our experience here.

Great service, complimentary drinks (*3 per drinking age guest). Loved the pool, which was open to midnight. Amazing free breakfast. Dining on-site. The hotel experience was so great, we are hunting for things in the area to visit again.

Love embassy suites and this one has the best service of any we have ever stayed at! We have a large family with 6 kids so the 2 room suite is always fantastic. Everyone that works at this location seems to really care that you are happy. The pool area could use a face lift but it was clean and the kids loved it. Highly recommend.

Big old rooms that need renovation. The decor is conservatively tasteful. Not great housekeeping for the bathroom but otherwise good. Quiet location. Really great room service menu options. Pleasant staff.

We stayed at the hotel for my son's hockey tournament. We were overall generally pleased with the hotel. Rooms were perfect for a small family and clean. The free breakfast was awesome and much better than I expected. Lots of choices! My only complaints were the smell of the room and elevators and only two working elevators. The carpet in the room had been cleaned or treated with a freshener than barely covered some kind of musty smell. It may be time to replace the carpet. Ditto for the elevators. One of the three elevators as out of service, which made for long waits. Part of the problem was all of the hockey, dance, and softball kids playing around in the elevators (which the hotel has no control over) BUT it would had been smart to make sure all elevators were in working order before such a busy weekend when the hotel would be booked. Overall we would be happy to stay here again for another tournament.

The property is located in a relatively good area. The area is mostly commercial office buildings. There is an area that has a few restaurants and it is within walking distance. The interior of the property is very clean. The decor is slightly dated; however, everything is well maintained. The room is very spacious. As I mentioned, the decor (furniture) is dated...but everything was in great condition. I loved the layout of the rooms. I enjoyed my stay and would select the property again.

Attended a Dinner Detective show, which was fun. Food was good and better than I generally expected. 3 free drinks per person at the evening reception as part of our overnight stay, as well as a nice hot breakfast... Mostly buffet, but made to order omelets are always a good option. Only complaint was that our room (212) smelled heavily of chlorine due to the proximity of the pool.

Easy to find location and off the road a bit which cuts down road noise. Beautiful hotel and nicely laid out inside. Beautiful rooms and quite roomy. Front desk was kind and helpful as was wait staff during breakfast. Breakfast is pretty standard, but still delicious. Overall, excellent hotel and would happily stay at it again

We have stayed at this Embassy Suites three times now and it is our favorite close to home getaway. The pool is warm, the manager's reception is great, and the breakfast is wonderful. This time we got an adjoining room with friends and it was a perfect family vacation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in staying in that area.

The hotel staff were great and pleasant to interact with. Breakfast in the morning, reception in the evening. Those alone were worth the stay. Location was nice. Close to attractions and shopping. The few issues we had were dealt with promptly. And using your phone as a room key was just cool.

one of the modern locations in the embassy suites collection. it has good breakfast. rooms are clean and modern. great location if you need to do business as its right in the center of suburban detroit.

The check in was a little slow, however the front desk clerk was extremely friendly and welcoming once she did check us in. Although, we didn't eat in the restaurant, the view of it was great. It seems very modern and updated. The room was a nice size, however I'd agree with several other reviews that they could use some updates. The bathrooms don't have vents and there is considerable paint peeling in the bathroom area. Our bed comforter had a huge stain on it. I'm not even sure how they could give that to a guest. Room service was excellent. The food was a lot better than I've experienced in the past at other hotels. There was a loud group of rowdy neighbors next door to us that were hitting the wall, laughing extremely loud and slamming doors which made the experience a little less relaxing. In ending, we would consider staying here again because of the practical price tag, but it probably wouldn't be our first choice.

Checked in earlier today. The employee at the front desk was incredibly helpful with explaining all of the services the hotel offers. Nice sized room. The one thing I have a gripe about is that the paint on the ceiling in the bathroom of my room (Room 418) needs serious maintenance due to extremely noticeable cracking and peeling.

Had a lovely weekend here. 😀 however there were a few things I didn't like. No a.c. units in the room. Seems like the gsa were unhappy to be at work but the lady who checked me in was great I just wish I can remember her name. Other than that I had an awesome weekend drinks were great friendly bar tenders and breakfast staff 😊

We come here every year for a church ministry retreat and we really appreciate the staff and their willingness to serve. They are appreciated for their help and kindness. And this is an all around wonderful hotel.

Complimentary drinks before a great meal. Fun in pool and hot tub. Room 237 and connecting suite were perfect for our family gathering, and breakfast buffet was incredible. Will be back again!

Seems to be going a bit down hill. While the bar tenders and servers were great, the pool & hot tub were cloudy/dirty and the area is in need of a makeover, the hotel floors were dirty, food trays left outside rooms for 24hrs and never picked up, the carpet in our room looked dirty, and our friends had an even worse experience.

It was a very nice location for a work event. The staff was helpful and great.

Very good accommodations and polite staff. Had to say here overnight on business and they were very kind about setting me up with a room even though their systems were down for changes. The room was clean and well stocked.

I had gone to hotel to do dinner with some friends. It was called dinner detective. The hotel is very beautiful and the bar is nice too. The only complaint that is beyond their control was the smell. It smelled so bad of chlorine from the pool. But I understand that it isn't something that they can really control. Just don't be surprised if the smell hits you like a truck when you walk in.

Room service came as I was getting ready to go out to my wedding I was attending. Told them to come back in 20 minutes and they said okay. Never got my room cleaned. Also there were children constantly hitting every button on the elevator all night Friday. The staff did not do anything and let the children run around.

Nice and clean, breakfast is always great and the food is fresh. Really enjoy managers hour, the rooms themselves could use some renovations because they are starting to show their age, rooms were clean and I enjoyed my stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Our room was clean and included a small living room area, kitchenette and a bedroom. We were pleased with the pool and the breakfast. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would come back if we are in the area again.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was way above average. Three complimentary cocktails were available during happy hour. The restaurant meals were well prepared and great value for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay here again.

Great service, breakfast was good. Pancakes, made to order omelets, biscuits and gravy, etc...
The rooms were nice. Kinda old, but that happens. The layout was cool.
It's one of those hotels with a big open middle you can see down in.
The elevator has glass so you can see down in the middle.
The TV actually had a guide channel so you don't have to keep flipping through like most hotels

What exceptional service! My son became ill unexpectedly while staying in Troy. The hotel staff went above and beyond to see that everyone in our group was cared for, got what they needed and even sent balloons to the hospital. The personal contact showed that the staff was thinking of us and caring for us far beyond just routine client management. Thank you!

5-12-15 Update: I had to travel to Detroit again for family and decided to stay. This experience was very different. The second day, my room was not cleaned. I had to call the front desk at 11 p.m. for clean towels and a trash bag and one of the towels were dirty. The premium floor complimentary drinks and snacks vending machine was out of order after the first night and was never fixed.The bartenders were still extremely rude even after leaving a gracious tip for the complementary drinks.

Traveling to see family with my husband and we stayed on the premium floor. It was a wonderful experience. The room was clean and included a microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig. The premium floor was nice with access to free snacks and drinks on the floor. Breakfast was good, made to order and breakfast buffet. Reception in the evening with 3 complimentary drinks was nice but the bar tenders are extremely rude. Embassy Suites are usually outdated but this location was recently remodeled and you can tell the difference. The shower didn't have a door so it took some getting used to. Overall, great stay, safe and quiet area.
