Great location, easy of highway, mostly small Asian restaurants nearby, near grocery stores, rooms smaller than typical Homewood, all King size suits, good breakfast.

Best hotel ever in Richmondhill and Markham area. Nice and clean with fair price. Included breakfast is good. Highly recommended.

The suite was great, with a little kitchen with stove and microwave oven, coffe maker, etc. A small studio as you enter the siite, and then the bedroom with a king size.
The bathroom is separated from the sink which has a large mirror and lights.
Everything was modern and super clean.
The free breakfast had plenty of selection with fruits, oatmeal, juices, toaster, muffins, cereal, great coffee, etc.
It has a small fitness center and an inside swimming pool, so it's perfect for a family with small kids.

The location is good with a car. It's right by Costco. The surrounding area is full of modern authentic Chinese restaurants and shopping. The rooms have a kitchen with full size fridge , microwave and electric stove.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. A bit BBC disappointing that there is no hot tub but pool isn't bad. Breakfast - lost cause - everything was cold.

Nice hotel to stay at. The beds are comfortable, the bed area of the room has privacy, and the M-Th happy hour had some delicious appetizers.

A fine hotel in general. The housekeeping staff is good and the kitchen staff work hard. However, my last night here was not good. A group of
teenage kids stayed and were running in the hall way . The adults who were with them were just as disrespectful, Security had to come multiple times and the situation was never fully resolved. On the same night in an unrelated incident a man was arrested. Not the hotels fault, but I would expect the hotel to do a better job at screening customers.

Great stay, comfy room, decent breakfast and afternoon snacks. Housekeeping did a great job of leaving soaps/shampoo/towels for my stay. I hate waste so prefer using same things for duration of my stay.

Was clean and fresh. Suites were well stocked. Staff was courteous and went well above what was expected. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely return if back in the area.

Can't complain about this place. Nice staff, quick check in. I opted for a king bed and had a kitchen and fold out sofa. Pretty much the option for parents taking the kids out for a weekend competition . cable tv selection was good. the hot bar breakfast was basic but did the job. Clean room. Fitness centre, while small didn't have a problem to use and the pool looked like a good one.

Now the bad parts: driving access isn't the best, especially when leaving. only 1 elevator was working and somehow always stopped on 3rd floor. wifi was below par outside of peak hours. and the equipment at the fitness centre was a bit worn down. bed mattress felt a little worn out.

I'd say it's on par with the holiday in express nearby.

Great hotel. Its right near a Costco. Great for those people who will need to go shopping during their stay.

Didn't realise until we were getting ready to check out that we were actually in a smoking room. Couldn't figure out why I could detect a faint smell of cigarette smoke..i thought all rooms in Canada were now smoke free but I guess not. The tell take sign was the ashtray and matches on the desk funny I didn't notice them until I was packing to leave!
Breakfast was sub par and barely warm. Housekeeping came while we were out and took our towels but didn't replace them until I called front desk.

Stayed at a 2 bedroom suite for 2 nights. Service was prompt and polite. Hotel was clean and the prices were reasonable. Overall happy with the stay.

It's alright I guess. Staff is friendly and room is clean. Nothing special. Would be better if happy hour had wine like in the US.

Little tired interior with very noisy air conditioning. If you have light sleeping then look for another hotel. Breakfast is very simple, nothing to really enjoy but there is not another option , because the location is not convenient. The hotel is far from anything, if you don’t have a car then only option is to call Uber and drive to the closest Subway station, Finch.

My dad was the one who was staying at the hotel. My husband and I were just visiting him while he was here on business. We went swimming and had a great time. I would say if they want you to wash before going into the pool they should really provide a simple soap at the shower area.

The room was nice and the bathroom was clean. It was a nice stay.

Awesome hptel and great service

Enjoyed my stay while in Canada on business. A courteous staff, great breakfast, comfortable suite, and good number of amenities. Honestly, I don't have any complaints except that it was difficult to find. Nothing was outstanding, but you won't be disappointed in the least with this location.

This hotel was a last minute decision and I am very happy we made it. The price of the room was incredible and I would consider staying there for the entire week trip next year we make. It is a comfortable drive to downtown Toronto but also has plenty to offering in the city of Markham as well.

Rooms are very clean and in order, we had reserved for 3 nights. Last night they slipped a letter in our room that the third night is discounted. Nice surprise

we come to Markham a few times a year and this is our goto hotel. we like the kitchen in each room with full size fridge, the room is clean and decoration is decent.

Nice location except exit out if hotel is confusing. There's a one way entrance that looks like an exit. Service and rooms are very nice. Beds are extremely comfortable while rooms are cozy. All bathroom appliances can be obtained from front desk as well. Breakfasts are good as well.

Room we had was large. Clean. Our window faced the hwy off ramp, but we slept well and heard no noise overnight. Breakfast was good with variety to please even picky. Would go again.

Room was nice, though sheets were not on the sofa bed. This wild have been nice since we were listed as 4 people. Breakfast was good, but could be improved a little.

Exceptionally clean room, spacious and comfortable suite, nice bed and bedding, friendly staff, quiet room despite the highway being nearby, good free breakfast, good fitness equipment, two thermostats plus ceiling fan in room, sink separate from bathroom, nice kitchen, a good home away from home. Wonderful stay, highly recommend this hotel.

Surprisingly good hotel rooms for the price. Ours had a mini kitchen with full sized fridge, hot plate, microwave and dishwasher.

Sink was outside of the rest of the bathroom, which was great. Very roomy living area.

So far so good. We stay in the Hilton branded hotels because they are predictably nice, and homewood has dinner four nights per week. It's pretty standard and good for a family with breakfast, dinner, pool, fitness center, suites with separate bedrooms, etc. This one is a little harder to get to from the road, but that's not their fault, the roads don't let you turn left. Also, CAD $3.40 for an ice cream cone was ridiculous.

Nonetheless, a solid homewood with no real complaints, and we were here on a points redemption stay, 120k points for five nights.

Place is starting to show its age. The couch in my room was disgusting. It had a giant greasy stain on it. The furniture is starting to crack. A hockey tournament turned the hotel into a dorm room with a buffet made from ironing boards in the halls. Apparently the staff was OK with this. I've stayed here 3 times and it's only going downhill each time I come.

Nice, clean and big room for 4.. Very comfortable, with breakfast too.

This is a brand new hotel that opened in August. Great, clean hotel with helpful staff. Some of the reviews below are over 4 years old and don't apply to this new hotel.

Beautiful venue. I had the pleasure of staying here on the first night it was open for business. A great addition to markham with attention to detail, and cosy rooms!

I stay here very often, always found it great. It has comfortable and spacious rooms, and also gives free breakfast and dinner (small variety of food though, but it is free after all.) I've never had issues with bedbugs as the other comments say. Would definitely recommend for this area.
