The breakfast was awesome and delicious. I loved the biscuits because then I put eggs on it and it was amazing. The people were really nice and friendly. They put the quality if your stay first which is really nice. The pool was also a nice temperature, except the lifeguard was kinda falling asleep but it was fine because we were the only ones in the pool. The one thing is that our door is stuck and it's not the key that isn't working it's the fact that the door is stuck in room 134 but everyone just says it's the key or to try opening it pushing the handle up.

Standard rooms are spacious. It's made for long stays. Free hot breakfast from 6am-9am. No on-site restaurant was the only set back

This place has a good selection of food at breakfast and at the social. However, the attitude of the staff should improve. They acted as though they hated work, in particular the housekeeping staff. They not only need to be taught southern hospitality, but how to make beds and put soap properly on the sink. The kitchen staff were attentive, some were polite, but others were not. Also, the curtain one of the showers in my room had fungus. The front staff were polite..

I stayed at the Herndon Hyatt House recently and, had they not been so accommodating when I had issues, I would have left a very poor review. I had a three night stay. The shuttle service from the airport was excellent, as was the service to the metro station. The free dinner and breakfast meals were a fantastic amenity! The staff was exceptionally friendly. The ONLY issue was that on two of the days I had NO hot water in the room. None... I was getting up at 4 am for meetings in DC and was met with nothing more than a cold shower. On the positive side I didn't need coffee, on the negative side, it was already cold outside, so I was looking forward to that warm shower to get me ready for the day. I was promised by the staff that it would not happen again... and, it did. This time just prior to my 4:15am departure to the airport. I guarantee I was grumpy. In any case, I contacted the manager upon returning home and she refunded my stay. Not just a day, the whole thing. She was exceptionally apologetic and noted that they had crews working to address the issue. At any rate, I will go back as the rooms were clean, staff was friendly, food was a benefit, and there are several very good restaurants (and a brewery) right next door.

Hyatt House is probably the least luxurious offering under the Hyatt umbrella. But it's a very convenient option for long stays. The single room that I'm staying in has a full fledged kitchen, comfortable bed, air conditioning, above average-ish bathroom and sofa. The TV doesn't have many channels. There's also a work area with an office style chair. The restaurant hosts daily breakfast and evening snacks from mon through thursday. Overall, a no nonsense, reasonably priced hotel. I wish there was an all day restaurant within the property.

It seems like a nice hotel. I did not stay there or see any of the guest rooms. The conference room and lobby are standard fare for this class of hotel. Access to the parking lot is a little wonky - you have to loop in from the side.

My husband and I recently stayed here at Hyatt House in Herndon and were very pleased. The unit had been recently renovated and was very comfortable and clean. It was like a home away from home with a living area complete with fireplace, kitchen/dining area, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. All was beautifully furnished and functional. The breakfast served in the morning was very nice with a variety of hot and cold items including tasty cheese omelettes and sausage. The staff was pleasant, professional and responsive to our requests. For example, I was looking for a certain tea bag at breakfast and it was out. I brought it to the attention of the kitchen staff and it was immediately replaced. We would be delighted to stay here again!

I got there after a long drive and they were having free pizza and booze in the lobby which was awesome. They rooms are very clean and modern. Don't have a lot negative to say about it honestly.

Excellent accommodations. The room was large and had a nice kitchen. There was also a great breakfast daily and a manager's reception on several weekday evenings.

It is a good hotel for staying a long time because it has a full equiped kitchen. I'm happy with Breakfast and Dinner because they are included. The only problems I have found sometimes is that the hot water at night is not warm enough, and I had to have a shower in the morning. Another fantastic advantage is that the hotel provide a Shuttle for customer for 5 miles around. It can take you to the metro station for free!! So, high recommended!!

Booked a two night stay in a 2 bedroom suite. Rooms were clean and appeared mostly well maintained. The only room issue was a broken shower curtain rod in one bathroom. Hotel served a free breakfast every morning and free dinner on weekday nights. Food was okay considering the price. Hotel also provided shuttle services to the closest DC Metro station, shopping and Dulles airport. Overall, an excellent value. Extra props to Aaron who ensured everything was great.

Visited my cousin who was staying there. Room had a nice little kitchenette and a nice space outside to eat dinner while the kids played.

Noise from upstairs room came through pretty easily. Air condition device is on/off only and noisy when it turns on.

The incline on the shower floor was incorrect and the water remained after taking a shower. There were no tools to wipe the water to the drain.

Breakfast had no markings for gluten free when applicable.

I really like Hyatt House Herndon. The location is just perfect. It is close to the airport. The shuttle service will pick you up from the airport. The shuttle arrived 10 minutes after I called the hotel. The rooms are clean. It is not a room but feels like a house. It have everything you will need. A furnished kitchen, living room with a sofa bed. The area is quiet. The shuttle will take you the near by malls, stores etc.

Great hotel in a great location. walking distance from a supermarket to purchase groceries for the fully operational kitchen. Great drivers will drop you at the metro, airport or anywhere else in a 5-mile radius which is fantastic. Warm and friendly customer service!

Herndon House is an apartment-style hotel, each room has its own kitchen and living room and one or more bedrooms, each with their own toilet, it's really good for longer stays where you appreciate the opportunity to cook your own food or just have that cozy feeling of being at home, even when traveling. Pros: The included breakfast buffet is really good and has great options for a protein-rich, low-carb diet. Each room has its own kitchen, complete with a fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker and microwave and/or a regular oven. The hotel tries to encourage a social atmosphere with in-house social gatherings, where soup and a hot meal is provided, mon-thur every week. Cons: The building is a little bit old and not all rooms have been entirely renovated. The gym is sparsely furnished, it has treadmills, dumbbells and one or two simple cable-based machines, but no squat rack.

Good rooms, food at happy hour is good, access sucks but over all good value for the money.

This is a basics plus place, good parking and a shuttle bus to IAD or local transport hub. There's good food options nearby, and suites have well equipped kitchens. Good wide lifts for anyone with access or mobility issues.

As an officer, it was great to assist a guest when there was an issue that was outside the scope of hotel duties. The hotel helped get the guest the assistance needed.

This was our home away from home on the last 4 weeks out of our 7 weeks visit to Reston. It's great for a family of 4. We stayed at their self-contained 2-bedroom apartment/unit with a small lounge room (with a sofa bed) & a kitchenette. There is also a coin-operated guest laundry on the second floor. They offer complimentary hot breakfast daily & also a supper from Monday-Thursday. The staff are super friendly & helpful. The complimentary shuttle van was very handy for me as they drop off and pick up guests anywhere to & from within the 5 mi radius. The kids & I used this service almost daily as we explored the local area (eg library, shopping malls etc.) Can totally recommend Hyatt House in Herndon to families or those who like to have a bit more room than just a small hotel room. will stay there again if we ever get the chance to visit the area again.

Although they offer shuttle service to the airport you will need to call and arrange a pickup. Dont make our mistake and wait at the hotel shuttle pickup without giving them a call. Although worn in places the property is clean and the staff very friendly and eager to help.

Man oh man, this place was fantastic! With a wonderful view of the parking lot, and service that wouldn't leave without a tip, I can definitely say I will return! Not only did they threaten me at gunpoint to give this review 5 stars, they also beat me to a pulp in the parking lot because the color of my skin... I'm a broken soul now...

Lovely place, the 2 bedroom suite is awesome. Like 2.5 hotel rooms in one suite to be honest. Fully equipped kitchen was perfect! Staff was very nice, they went out of their way to make us welcome!

The Hyatt was great! Normally, I would not have stayed on the first floor, but the quiet and space was fine. The suites were large and spacious. The amenities were suitable. I did not enjoy the breakfast bar as much; it was a bit bland.

I stayed At the Hyatt House for a business trip for three nights in late July, 2013 with a colleague. We stayed in one of the 2-bedroom suites. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom and tv and were connected by a shared living room and kichenette. I don't understand why more hotels don't have this room configuration.

The rooms and hotel common areas were clean and comfortable. The breakfasts and evening receptions offered many choices for food and drink. The hotel has complimentary wi-fi. I needed to print a document and was able to do so easily on one of the two public computers with printers in the lobby. Although we did not swim while there, the outdoor pool looked inviting. But the best part was the outstanding staff, who genuinely seemed to enjoy being hosts and hostesses. Thank you!
