very nice new upscale hotel, beautiful rooms, pools, spa, bar's (in pool bar), gym etc. Very kind and welcoming staff.
Gonna be honest it is slightly far from Cabo San Lucas,(about 40min drive) but if your ready sit and enjoy the beach front views and all the hotel amenities this place is awesome.

Buffet breakfast is the most expansive I've ever seen anywhere. Everything you could ever imagine is available and delicious! I had a made to order omlet and a made to order smoothie, as well as other things from the buffet (several types of bacon also made just right for my taste - thin and crispy)

Top notch customer service from the moment I walked in until the very last second. This resort has stunning views, multiple pools (to die for), and beautiful spacious rooms. You must visit the spa while you’re here too. I’d recommend this hotel to everyone. If you’re visiting Cabo, this is a MUST STAY.

This resort is EXCELLENT! Didn't have to request anything from my room because they anticipate all your needs. The spa is beautiful and relaxing, many treatments to choose from. The grounds are impeccably kept, the pools are clean and enticing. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to return!

The hotel is aesthetically astounding and has lots of amenities, including the best gym at a hotel I've been to. However it is geared more toward people who like to spend their whole time at the resort. The restaurants are expensive and you can only walk on the beach-- no swimming.

I would not go to any other resort in the Cabo area. World class food and service. Beautiful modern property with 10 onsite pools. If you didn’t stay at this JW you didn’t come to Cabo.

It was an AMAZING experience! The staff was very attentive and helped us with anything we needed. Yes it's expensive but SO worth it!! If we were to do it again we would do all inclusive. The meals, drinks, and services will pay for it. There is shuttle services provided which is really nice. Although most of the staff talks Spanish and we spoke English they will try and find provide someone to answer questons.

You will never have the services provided anywhere else!!

Super contemporary and beautiful restaurants and views. Just too far away from Cabo to just get a cab because its far too expensive. Renting a car is much cheaper.

My friend and I will be there soon and we can't wait! However, I've been calling the past few days to figure out the shuttle service because we'll need to be picked up from the airport but no one has answered yet.😪 Maybe I'll get a response here.

One of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at! Definitely my top 3! The actual resort and facilities are amazing and the employees are very well trained and they all made us feel like valued customers. They never say no to you, which I find very rare, so that’s a big plus! I recommend trying all the restaurants, they are all very very good, but my favorite was definitely Cafe des Artists where the food and atmosphere are just perfect! Marriott also had the best cocktails I’ve had! The bar by the pool serves great food and drinks and Jesus A. And Ulyses Z. are one of the best servers I’ve met, very friendly and kind and always makes sure you have everything you need.
Tips: when booking - I suggest not buying the bed and breakfast option and get the regular room and once you get there upgrade to griffin - it’s $200 extra per night per room and includes breakfast for 2 and access to spa and they offer you the seafront view room and also you also get snacks by the pool and drinks during certain hours and access to a private pool which to be honest gets more crowded than the regular ones but you have access to the regular ones as well. I do not recommend booking all inclusive. We had breakfast included but bought a lot of drinks and food during the day and still didn’t spend half the money we would’ve payed for all inclusive.
Before getting to the hotel: make sure you have cash for tips either dollars or pesos. You can definitely leave tips on the room at restaurants and bars but I feel they were happier when we gave them cash tips. But you can’t leave tips on the room for the lady that cleans your room for example, so cash is good to have on hand.

The most beautiful location I've ever stayed in.... from check in to check out, the experience in between was amazing. The STAFF..... AT EVERY LEVEL..... IS WORTH THE FLIGHT FROM CHARLOTTE, NC !!! I will stay nowhere else when I come back....

Staff are always looking for opportunities to assist guests. There are great views and gardens providing many locations for excellent backdrops for photos. Numerous infinity pools & water features are at every turn on the property. Awesome place.

This is a nice place to relax and take in some sun. There is a good selection of pools, although it is a shame the beach isn't suitable for swimming.

The restaurants could do with more vegetarian options, although the staff were very good at offering to make things not on the menu.

The costs of drinks and food soon adds up. There are similar resorts elsewhere which are all inclusive and offer a better overall experience, no need to be signing for payments all the time.

The staff are very good at seeing to anything you might need. Try adjusting an umberella by the pool without one of them taking over.

Absolutely stunning. From the lobby area to the beach was laid out well to compliment the terrain. Overall the food was excellent and service was some of the best i have seen. Only knock is the snack/coffee shop was a bit over priced. If your looking for a party spot this is not your place as it has more of a quiet/romantic atmosphere and its away from the action.

UPDATE 2018: not as well run a when they first opened. Location is still very nice but attention to detail is lacking. We stayed five nights and had one major annoyance (construction right outside our room at 7:25 am) and many minor ones (dirty pool, missing fitness instructors etc).

Just. Wow! All expectations were surpassed, and then some. So glad we stayed at the end of our trip to Cabo as I would have been missing those beautiful blue pools the rest of the trip. Staff are all genuinely welcoming and made me feel so pampered and supported which is such a foreign feeling in my day to day life. This was my first at a JW flagship resort and I was not disappointed. Many nice touches such as the use at a beautiful beach tote, available for purchase of course, and out of my financial reach as well. Although I did think hard about it as the manufacturer has a worthy cause. Definitely on my list for a repeat experience.

The layout of this hotel is fantastic. 2 years old Nov 2017. Lots of open space and interesting areas for getting away. Pool scene is spacious but better for young kids and adults. Hotel is close to golf at Puerto Los Cabos and easy access to San Jose Del Cabo. The only con’s are some of the food selections....sushi and buffets (breakfast and dinner) were good...Ala Carter meals lacked a bit. Highly recommended hotel but venture into town or farm-to-table scene for some meals.

Our stay at JW Marriott Los Cabos exceeded all expectations! We were pleasantly surprised how well they were staffed, especially during a busy travel time during the holidays. The room was exceptionally clean and had a large balcony perfect for lounging. We loved the adults only pool, although you all could still somewhat hear the kids playing nearby. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting a gorgeous getaway with fantastic service!

There are many dozen resorts in Cabo. This one, literally and figuratively, is worlds away.

What I loved:
watching the sunrise every morning + traditional Baja options at breakfast + night swimming + a field of grain blowing in the ocean breeze + concierges who ask good questions

Didn’t love: the coffee shop, which is exactly what you would expect from a hotel lobby coffee shop and nothing more.

I recommend:
1) Rent a car if you’re staying more than a few days - hotel valet was prompt and free. (Get a compact... authentic and easier to park!)
2) Don’t be afraid to ask the hotel staff for anything. They were extremely accommodating and helped shape our week into a unique experience.

Beautiful resort. Staff was excellent, however it was very slow there when we went in September. The pools are amazing and kept at the right temperature. Restaurants had very good food, but for a change of scenery try going to Flora Farms which is fairly close to the resort. Very unique and great food. My only small complaint is that the decor and design of the resort felt more like a JW Marriott than a traditional Los Cabos mexican themed hotel. Still very nice, but a little different from what we were hoping.

From the outside the hotel looks rather bland with its brownish hues however as soon as you walk in that perception changes. As you walk in towards the lobby, the far end is open and you see the ocean which makes for an amazing view. The room we were in was very big with comfortable beds. Very clean and very nice room. The bathroom had the shkwer, toilet, and bathtub that could be individually closed off. Staff is very friendly! Good choice of restaurants. 12 pools to choose from. They also have a kids and a teens room with games, along with a gym and spa.

Took my wife there for her birthday in October. Never told the staff directly about the occasion but they picked it up off of the dinner reservations we made for 3 nights into the trip and ran with it. Fron desk, concierge, chef, hospitality folks all acknowledged the event to her. Made her fun cocktails, great food!! These folks were top drawer in terms of attentiveness and detail. As it was the 1st week of October it felt like there were only 50 people in the whole resort. Warm pool, great poolside bar and food service. The executive chef made my wife an out of this world birthday desert with fireworks, which was preceded by the most outstanding meal. I CANNOT wait to visit again. Wow!!!! This is why I am elite for life at Marriott!!

Amazing beach resort. Staff is incredible. Grounds are immaculate. Rooms are modern and elegant. All of the restaurants have delicious food. The spa offers fabulous treatments. Fitness center has great equipment. The pool options are fantastic. The beach is beautiful.

Nice place. Friendly people. Nice pools. Only drawbacks are too far from Cabo San Lucas. Only taxis at $85 one way. Car rental a must. Can't swim in these beaches also.

Incredibly beautiful property. Lots of amazing pools to spend the day relaxing and the rooms are stunning. The buffet lunch and dinner at the grill is worth every penny.

The hotel is an easy ride from the airport, at the end of the road however, this is not a walk to town resort, more go and hide. The hotel is Incredibly beautiful, amazing architecture everywhere you look. The finish and buildout of the rooms is equal to a multi million dollar home in the US. Pools and more pools, the spa again wow beautiful. Wonderful views from everywhere as the design of the hotel is stepped down from entry to beach. Beach is not swim-able but very walk friendly. I felt very safe, secure, staff service very polite and attentive. Food is typical Mexico hotel food, some is great and some is oh well. The upscale restaurant is a work of art, piano player, ocean view, spectacular bar, reflection pool and the Roman the giant pet lobster. If your looking for night life or going to cabo wabo to party this is not the place, the JW offers serene beauty, peace and tranquility in an amazing hotel. Thursday night is art night in San Jose, we were there for lunch but looked like some great galleries and a lot of fun. Highly recommend the hotel.

Quiet and secluded, if you're looking for a wild time in Cabo, this is not your place. If you are looking for your own slice of paradise, this is it. It is about a $30 USD taxi into town if you need to. Food at the restaurants was delicious, and reasonably priced. It is pricey ($30) for the breakfast buffet, but I highly recommend it at least once during your stay. Staff is friendly and very helpful, most speak great English if your Español isn't what it was back in Highschool. 9 pools and a beautiful beach, but don't go swimming in the ocean at this location, you will die. If you forget this part of my review, they will remind you at check-in, they are not joking. However due to the insane waves/currents/undertows, it provides the most serene background noise of waves crashing on the beach. It almost sounds like distant thunder claps. Stay here. Also, check out the AAA/CAA rate. As of July 2017 it's something amazing like 156 a night!

Great experience. Went with 9 family members, had a fun and relaxing time in Mexico and the resort. The resort was beautiful, the staff was friendly. Will definitely be coming back!

No words can express how beautiful this place is.. It is paradise! The pool area was extra ordinary, it has plenty of beach chairs.. You can sit there and relax watching the people swimming.. Had an awesome experience.. I'm planning to have my next trip here with my family..

Excellent service, high ceilings, beautiful grounds and pools, best hotel gym I've seen, fast internet, was offered Griffen club upgrade for 200 pretty night. Declined.

Excellent staff and service, splendid setting, wonderful spa and fitness center, terrific cuisine. Did not even leave the premises for four days. Exactly the indulgence we needed.

LOVE this resort. Not too many kids and it doesn't feel crowded because of the amount of pools they have. Disappointed about the ocean because of the rip tides but still an amazing ambience here.

New, far out of town, very modern but not conveniently designed. May work well as conference hotel but not the best option for family vacation.

One of my favorite Marriott brands.. low key, quiet resort. Exceptional Service overall - however the sunday night dinner service at Bar Nak (which was busy) had a couple mix ups and slowed service. The food was still great though!

Really nice structures and landscape. Many pools and great staff. In a secluded area of Los Cabos so you'll need a rental car or a taxi to get around. Large property so there's lots of walking. Beach is generally not swimmable due to the extreme tide. Its good for a few days but not a week or more.
