Great room. Bathroom and kitchen were very nice. Bed was comfortable. Definitely had everything I needed.

We came here to celebrate our son's birthday and to go to Legoland. We were all very impressed with our suite when we walked in for the first night. Tons of space for kids to play. Kitchen had everything you need to comfortably prepare a meal. Beds were comfy. Really have nothing negative to say about our stay here. And every employee at hotel treated us very nice and accommodated all of our needs. They were very helpful.

Hotel is really well organized recommended for those who are on vaction. Also have fun great activities to do like swimming badket ball a family/friend room. Over all the stay was great experience.

Nice convenient place to stay in the Carlsbad area. Great for extended stays with kitchen, appliances, dishes, laundry, etc. Have evening get together meals on some week nights. The staff are very courteous. Not a bad rate for the amenities. Nice pool. Access to bar and grill at sister Holiday Inn.

First time to stay at a long term stay hotel, even though we were only there for 6 days. This place was awesome, a wonderful experience. Breakfast was the only area of improvement, but the social hour, laundry, pool, rooms, service, cleaning, business help, everything was great. Really enjoyed staying here and will definitely consider a long stay hotel next time we go somewhere.

Great amenities. The pool and jacuzzi and rec area are great! Breakfast was filling and always replenished. The only issue we had were ants. The cars were absolutely infested.

Love the staff, they are super helpful and accommodating! We are here for an extended day and they are doing there best to ensure we are having a pleasant time! The rooms and kitchens are very appropriately sized.

It was our first time staying here and it was awesome! The rooms are clean, the staff is on top of everything. We could not find a bad thing to say about this hotel. There is plenty to do for kids also.

The overall experience was good but i was not happy at all staying at this place because of below points.

1.You will always feel the negative vibes in this hotel

2.Wifi Service is very poor

3.Same breakfast will get repeated everyday..no varieties will be added

I made a last minute reservation and got a killer deal on a studio sweet which was both much nicer and larger than my last studio apartment. The guy that made the reservation for me failed to mention that they require a $100 deposit (understandably when you see how nice the place is) but the very friendly girl at the front desk was able to do my deposit in cash since I couldn’t use my card. They were quite accommodating and very friendly. Again I cannot stress how luxurious this place is. I don’t do a lot of hotels but I would definitely come back to this place. Breakfast buffet is on point also!

They also have free popcorn in the rooms. Popcorn.

This is awesome hotel if you have a chance of staying. They have breakfast Every morning and between Monday and Wednesday they actually serve dinner

Had a wonderful time at Staybridge. The staff was perfectly courteous, the breakfast buffet convenient and delicious, and ample parking. Nothing to complain about!

I Just love these suits! I've been there 4 times and the stuff are amazing and are always super nice!

The place is well built with an inner courtyard that houses a pool, hot-tub and a barbecue station. As I was there in winter I didn't really get to check those out but they look quite nice.

The rooms (King Room) are quite spacious with a good living area that extends to an equipped kitchen area with a fridge microwave-toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher and a stove.

The entrance to the bathroom area is located next to the bed and it's also quite spacious with a good separation between the bathroom and shower and the sink. Water pressure in the shower was quite good (I'll give it a 4/5) and the water are nice and warm. The only thing I dislike about the showers is that the water cannot be turned off while keeping the temp setting, but that's really a minor thing.

Breakfast is quite good with a good variety of eggs, bread, fruit, muffins, coffee, cereal, drinks and the waffle machines. Other than breakfast dinners are a nice touch were you can eat and meat some nice people who are staying with you in the hotel.

Never used the gym but it looks well equipped, clean and tidy. The guest washing room is a great free perk if you plan on a longer visit.

This hotel is located in an industrial area that has tons of offices but yet still offers a Serene and quiet view of the natural scenery. Carlsbad offer plenty of coffee shops restaurants and pastry shops for you to enjoy I love this location it's one of my favorite in the area.

Excellent Breakfast, clean, good location, great floorplan, nice pool and amenities. They serve a full dinner 3 days a week!

Very clean hotel. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and it's nice to have a full kitchen. My girlfriend travels there monthly to Carlsbad for work and most of the time stays there. I visit a few times a year and always have a good experience. Only thing I would say against us the sometimes you can hear people above you but that's the case in most places depending on the guests. When it has happened the hotel staff are always willing to try and help and move you're room if possible.

We got evacuated with the fires. Called up and reserved 2 rooms. Front desk was inundated with similar families wirh pets. They were all grace under pressure. They assisted us and other families in getting rooms and whatever we needed. Thank you

Room was more than adequate. Clean, spacious, good amenities. Other facilities at the hotel were nice as well. The girl at check in, Alexa I believe, was incredibly helpful and really brightened our moods after an exhausting drive. She was a delight. We will happily stay here again.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, good value. Only knock is poor (but free) WiFi.

Great place, but only thing is the walls and doors are too thin so around 9am you can hear kids running and screaming, other then that, the breakfast buffet and quality/ cleanliness of the room was great!

A very nice hotel, located in the Eastern part of Carlsbad, about 15 drive from Legoland and the beach.
Staff are great, rates are fair, facilities are good.
Overall, a good experience.

UPDATE: When we checked out we talked with the manager about the problems we had during our stay. He was eager to make things right and listened to the issues and did his best to do so. I've abbreviated the original post issues so hopefully they can improve for future stays.

All the staff we interacted with were gracious and helpful. Chronic issues with lack of pool towels - they mentioned one group was grabbing piles of towels. I wasn't trying to hoard towels, but when my room isn't serviced, the towels are not going to get picked up. Housekeeping didn't leave shampoo or conditioner, and I'd recommend training on brewing a pot of coffee for the breakfast. Was not good. Otherwise the kids enjoyed the pool. Room was quiet even though we were right next to the pool, but couldn't get the temp cold enough at night.

The only reason I'd even think of coming back was because the manager seemed honestly concerned when I shared the issues and took notes on fixing the broken washing machine and lack of cleaning. He was very helpful upon checkout with the issues.

This was a fantastic hotel! The staff was friendly, the room was large and clean, and we got a late check-out! There were even cookies on the counter and milk in the fridge as an extra perk (I think because I had signed up for the rewards program)! I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in SD!

The suite was very nice and well kept with a full fridge, stovetop, sink, dishwasher. Definitely impressed me when I walked in. Breakfast was also served in the morning.

Wow its the fanciest hotel I have ever been in. They have a pool a hot tub and a really nice fire place out side.

Stayed here with the family for a 1 night staycation. I was over impressed with the entire experience. The facility was clean and beautiful. The rooms were nice (we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite). The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Convenient location, new interior, clean rooms, very friendly and professional staff. They also offer free shuttle to Legoland, which was the main reason for us to visit Carlsbad. Overall, highly recommended place to stay, especially for families with children.

Clean one bedroom 2 queen with sofa bed. Full kitchen. Complimentary breakfast and dinner was decent. Kids enjoyed pool and basketball court. Staff was friendly. Shuttle was on time.

Location is a little tricky to access unless you're familiar with the area. Stay was fine though.

A good stay overall. I stayed two nights while on a business trip, it was a good room, lots of electric outlets and other comforts. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good assortment of food and drinks. It can get busy when the families are eating before Legoland but I never had to wait for anything.

Room was very comfortable, complete with all necessary amenities. Bed very comfortable. Very modern and up to date technology. Breakfast was very good. Overall a good experience.

I was just dropping friends off, but the front desk was so nice when I ask to use restroom. I feel it my duty to always accommodate good service, you have awesome staff , and the cleanest restrooms ,

The rooms are very nice and the hotel is new. The pool and courtyard is area is beautiful. You can even walk to across the courtyard to the Holiday Inn, and use their bar and in-house food service.

Best hotel around may not be on the beach but it's it only 5 minutes away the rooms are comfortable and CLEAN. Staff is welcoming and super friendly defiantly coming back again.

So far so good! Service is great rooms are great! Have not had any issues yet. Will be here for 2 more days but loving it!

Pros:
It's very nice designed suite! I love having a kitchen to cook a quick meal for kids. Also it is very spacious. Breakfast is amazing

Cons:
- One of the nights we stayed there, the room service went to the room, made the beds and clean only 1 trash can. I had to call them 11pm when I got back to my room to have someone come and clean the restroom and take the trash. It was very unprofessional, however they apologized and did it in no time.

Rooms were really nice. Breakfast was good . Didnt get get a chance to visit pool. But overall experience was great. Only issue was they gave us a room that was already occupied. But fixed it right away.

I checked in for 6 nights. The room was good and clean and facing the pool. There are number of restaurants across the road which made up for the lack of one in the restaurant itself. Very nice and helpful staffs. It shares the pool and a large open space with Holiday Inn and the two hotels are interconnected. I enjoyed the compliment art breakfast - the spread could have been better though. Wifi worked perfectly all along. Nice place for a moderately long stay
