Property is clean and spacious. Breakfast has a good mix of food.

Negatives:
1. Night check in staff was rude. After a long drive it felt that they were doing me a favor by giving to keys.
2. Pool did not have towels. We had to constantly ask and remind.

Really like this chain for the extended and overnight stays. Breakfast options are healthy and plentiful. The workout facility/ fitness center was exactly what I was looking for and extremely clean. Very friendly staff, great stay. Will come back next time I am in the area.

It's elegant, quiet, peaceful. . Enjoyed a relaxing stay. . Great for romantic trips or much needed relaxation! Wouldn't recommend for a group ready to celebrate (get rowdy?!*)lol :) Sweet Place though!

This is one of my favorite Hotel stays in US. Had to be there for my project work and used to stay there every alternate week for almost a year. Started knowing all staff members. They go extra mile to serve you. Have had times when they dropped me to a near by restaurant and the driver came back to pick me up even after his shift was over. Front desk employees are amazing. Chef keeps attention on everyone having breakfast to make sure you are served right. They’d cook vegetarian for me all the time. Love them ! They remodeled in Jan 2017 so Hotel is in good condition. Right off of freeway so accessible and few bars and restaurants in the same Boulevard so very conveniently located.

Truck was broken into twice within 6 weeks with windows broken and no word from management both times. Housekeeping is spotty, breakfast buffet is mediocre as well as "appetizer nights" I love how they put out little salad tongs so you don't take too much..for the price you pay per night here I've had much better customer service and free buffets that cost half as much.

Nothing wrong right the room, it was adequate. Breakfast was okay. Pet friendly, but a $75 pet fee when we're staying one night is ridiculous

Very nice. I've stayed here twice now for a total of three weeks. Rooms have been rrally nicely renovated recently. Breakfast is always good. Can't comment on dinner in the evening. I'll give them five stars as soon as they put some weather stripping around the room doors to help with sound transfer from the halls. If I can hear people just talking right outside my door, they can hear everything going on in my room which isn't so good.

Nice place to stay especially when conducting business. I very much enjoy my stay when I had a business trip. The hotel was clean, good breakfast and polite staff.

Almost a flawless experience. Helpful staff, clean and nicely appointed suites, newly remodeled with great amenities. Only downside was the very slow and unreliable WiFi connection, but that seems to be a hotel industry standard these days.

This is my favorite Hotel chain and this particular Staybridge has been upgraded with all new furniture, carpet and upgrades. They are also very accommodating to any needs guests have even finding butter for me to cook with and if you run out of salt or pepper and events in the room housekeeping will bring it to you. They do have a hot and cold breakfast every morning the variety and quality varies depending on what they are serving. They have a nice indoor pool and also have a hot tub they also have a family area outside for cornhole! If you're not familiar with Staybridge they host a reception at night from 5:30 to 7:30 3 days out of the week they vary but most of them are Monday through Wednesday and offer wine and beer and a small meal for free to the guest!

Convenient location right in the middle of Ballantyne. You will want a car though, unless you're working extremely close by. This is not a pedestrian friendly area, but there's a Starbucks and other shops and restaurants in walking distance. The room is pleasant, functional, and clean with updated design. Breakfast is included and pets up to 50 lbs are allowed which is great!

Excellent hotel, wonderful amenities, friendly and helpful staff. Grounds,are very well kept and rooms are spacious , and beds,are comfy. Housekeeping does,a wonderful job. Breakfast every morning is delicious and offers a variety of items. Happy hours, three days a week are wonderful, again food is excellent, kitchen staff does an amazing job. Highly recommend this hotel, and would definately stay here again

This is a fairly new building with Barry nice rooms and provide Suites if you are traveling with a small family poor friend. We chose this specific chain because they are pet friendly and close to Carowinds. However after getting settled into the room I was looking for a glass (they provide a basic set of kitchen utensils and plates / glasses). Imagine my surprise that above the microwave I found a half-eaten loaf of bread! I immediately took the loaf of bread and along with a trash bag took it to the front desk for immediate disposal as well as reporting the incident. The night clerk was very apologetic. I left a comment card indicating what I found and several days later received hey generic email asking me to review the location. Like I am doing here I left a similar review and within 24 hours received an email from the general manager who was also very apologetic. I was impressed with the rapid response and responded in kind and also inquired if she received the comic card and to this day I have not received it follow up. However this should not dissuade you from this facility as the oversight is only human but it was this concerning to my spouse on her Comfort level and confidence of the rooms cleanliness. Will I come back to this location? Yes I will and after the next day my spouse felt better about the facility and enjoyed the breakfast which was included.

This place is beautiful. Complimentary hot breakfast & wifi. Walking distance from stores, pubs, & restaurants. Super cute kitchenette and living room. The only down side is the bed....they aren't the most comfy.

We stayed for three days at this wonderful hotel. Everything was exceptionally clean and
the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room had a full kitchen with a living area separate from the bedroom. This was very helpful when our son came from Highpoint University to spend the night.
Last evening, we swam in the pool and hot tub. Very nice also. Each morning we had a complimentary breakfast that included eggs and meat as well as the usual breakfast foods. I was disappointed that that they didn't have "make good own" wafflinges during the weekend, but was glad to see that they had them on Monday morning.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying near Charlotte.

What a great night sleep! Easily the nicest hotel for the best price in the area. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely hospitable and quick to answer any questions I had about the area. The kitchen in my suite made me feel like I was in my old dorm apartment which was a incredibly cozy feeling. The pillows were so soft as they were feather down and the bed was the right amount of firm. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone in the Ballantyne area!

Staff is helpful and breakfast here is good, and upon request you get a van/shuttle service to go nearby. I came here for an overnight stay for an interview at LandingTree.

The rooms were super nice, the staff was polite, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!

Customer service was great. They were all very nice and helpful. But when we got there, our room was not clean yet(our room was reserved the day before we got there).After one hour and a half, the room wasn't clean yet! We ask from time and time again but noooo: " we are very sorry, but housekeeping is 'VERY' busy right now." If that incident didn't happen, I would have been a happy camper with the rest of my family.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. My family and I stayed here from July 1st through July 5th. I found this hotel by doing a search for 2 bedroom suites in Charlotte. Those seem to be hard to find (in general). With 1 13 y.o. daughter and a 17 y.o. son, we need lots of space and they need their own space! My daughter had the living area (which has a pullout couch). The suite was spacious and comfortable. I didn't care for the breakfast. So after trying it the 1st day, I didn't bother the rest of the time there. Staff was friendly and courteous. The evening reception (we attended two) were pretty good. On the 4th of July, they had grilled food (burgers, dogs, fixings, potato salad, cupcakes, etc). It was really good. I'd definitely stay here again if in the area. As a matter of fact, I'm going to see if this place has a location for my upcoming trip to San Diego in a few months. If so, I will definitely book (given their customer ratings at that location are great). Thanks for a wonderful 1st time experience Staybridge!

Earlier this week, the small company I own was hosting its first all-day meeting even flying in a team member. Since Staybridge had a conference suite, I booked that room months in advance. When the out of town team member arrived, there was a mix up with the room and she did not receive a conference room. I couldn't believe my meeting over 6 months in the making was going to have no meeting room. I called the hotel and the front desk person immediately secured a large and very comfortable meeting room and also added water and coffee for the entire day. Thank you Staybridge Suites! As a business owner, I know mix ups just happen. Also as a business owner, I appreciate tremendously when the business goes above and beyond to make it right. We will definitely have our next meeting at Staybridge Suites!

Clean rooms with affordable suites. Nice mid level hotel with a decent breakfast. Monday to Wednesday they also offer free dinner. Within walking distance to a few decent restaurants.

Very nice hotel at a reasonable price. I do really enjoy the suite style set up which includes a kitchenette and separate living and sleeping areas. Included breakfast is average, but staff is very friendly.

This place has just completed it's renovations so it look and feel like a new hotel. Staff friendly and room clean. This is my new place to stay. I love all the updates here in 2017

The hotel is located, near many of the corporate offices of some big corporations, and some smaller ones. Many within a 10-20 minute walk. There many dinning establishments around it, ad there is shopping. The hotel offers free breakfast, and social nights Mon-Wed. It's clean with friendly stuff. It might be a bit noisy on occasion, but an overall great place.

Staybridge never disappoints! Great convenient location in Ballantyne - close to grocery store, banks, cvs, restaurants. Most within walking distance. The rooms are always nice and never once had a complaint about cleanliness. Breakfast and lobby area is nice and welcoming. Pet friendly. Indoor pool is also a plus.

The Staybridge Suites is a nice property for extended stay off of kitchen Nets the staff is really really nice especially the front desk person Tikka she always very nice and has a great big smile.

The rooms were great, breakfast has a pretty nice spread and the attendants were friendly. Evening receptions Mon-Wed are probably the best I've seen, food quality was great. The courtyard area is immaculate. Nice lounge areas and even a couple corn hole boards to play a game and keep you occupied. The pool area is very nice and so is the fitness center.
The only thing I didn't enjoy about this hotel was being stalked back to my room by security because this location apparently has issues with people coming in to eat their breakfast for free. I didn't appreciate being followed and questioned as a guest in your establishment. I feel it isn't a security guards place to be concerned about "breakfast thieves" either. It would make me feel more at ease if the security guard was concerned with actual security and that possibly a policy change should take place for those who come to take breakfast. Maybe breakfast tickets should be given out to guests? Another issue was interruptions in the room, I stayed here for two weeks to work 3rd shift and during the first week i had housekeeping come to my door three different times even though I had a do not disturb sign up. I even told the attendant the first time she came in that we didn't need service. Also had maintenance come to check the smoke detector, I've never seen that happen while a guest was present in the room, shouldn't that be done when rooms are unoccupied? Also had a phone call from the front desk stating that the housekeeper attempted to come in to clean the room and that we had the deadbolt engaged which was a lie because that was the same day that I told the attendant we didn't need service, and I never locked the deadbolt. All of those interruptions happened on the same day and my sleep was interrupted several times.
Didn't intend for this to get so negative, other than these couple instances my stay was pretty good, so I didn't give a 1. Could have totally been a 5 if I didn't have the interaction with security and the interruptions to my sleep.

The two bedroom/2 bath suite was spacious, very clean, and twelve minutes to Carowinds. The suite was chosen to accommodate 5 people. It could have easily accommodated 6-7 with the sofa bed. Great Ballantyne location with a friendly and helpful staff!

One of the nicest Staybridges we have stayed at. Very clean, and it's obvious the the management takes great pride in customer service.

This was a one night stay for our family on the way to vacation in SC. It was the perfect stopping point and the perfect stay! It was our first time staying a Staybridge. We were able to get a 2-bedroom suite (that actually has two separate bedrooms and an added crib we needed) for a very affordable price. The staff was helpful and friendly in every way! There were restaurants nearby and we walked to the nearest one and had a delicious meal. Thanks and we will be back!

We just returned from a family reunion that was held at the Staybridge Suites. It was wonderful from the moment we arrived. Samantha checked up in and she couldn't have been nicer. She made us feel so welcomed. We loved our room, the breakfast bar, the swimming pool, bean bag toss on the beautiful courtyard, yummy afternoon cookies and the very friendly, professional staff. We have stayed at a lot of places but none that are as clean as the Staybridge. The beds are so comfortable! Every room was taken but the staff makes each person feel like they are the only one. Can't wait for our next visit!

First impression was amazing. Easy to find, spacious suite, and our sleeping needs were met (two double beds, sofa bed). Fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher in the space (was not utilized during our stay). There was a nice spread during breakfast (ended 10:30a), but there was some lag time between refills.

First issue was a roach by the tub. Informed the front desk and was told that housekeeping would be notified. Not sure what difference that would make...

The toilet and shower are in the same area and it's a small space, tight like a bathroom stall. You have to maneuver to get in and out because of the door.

Woke up to a spider on the wall, which eventually made its way onto the pillow before we got it. The bugs bother me because I've stayed in many hotels and NEVER encountered any bugs of any kind.

Overall, I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend this facility to others.

I am one of the pickiest people you'll ever meet when staying at a motel, I like everything to be perfect, clean, friendly staff, everything in working order, great amenities, and it has to be affordable. I have found just that at the Staybridge suites in Charlotte North Carolina Ballantyne area. I could not have asked for anything nicer at this motel. Not only did it have all of the above their breakfast bar in the morning is outstanding, if you're looking for a place to stay in our choosy like myself, pick this motel and you will not go wrong!!

We had the pleasure of staying at this location for the July 4th holiday. Everything was perfect starting with check in, wish I could remember his name but anyway he was very pleasant and accommodating answering all of our questions about the area and even printing off directions and making sure we got our reward points, which I never remember to do. The rooms were the perfect size, we had plenty of space for all 8 of us, beds were comfortable and cleaning staff made sure we had plenty towels. Oh yeah, can't forget that this CLEAN reasonably priced hotel is also pet friendly so we were able to bring along our 4 legged son!! This hotel is perfectly located close to everything we needed, carowinds was only 15 mins away. Also the breakfast was...what else can I say but perfect and delicious. My wife & I had a house fire & stayed there over a 2 month period while the house was being remodeled. The staff was friendly & made us feel at home. It was like having an extended family. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay while uprooted from our house.
