The hotel was a decent price for what you got which included breakfast. The pool was nice and was 9ft deep but no jacuzzi and there were no towels available down at the pool. The hotel needs to be renovated but not too bad for price. The lobby floor was sticky. We stayed Tuesday night thru Saturday night and two days our room was not cleaned even when we told the maid and the front desk I had to empty out my own trash and go down to front desk to ask for towels two nights in a row for our room. The sheets were never changed even when they cleaned our room the one day. The maintenance man saves the day by at least offering to come restock our condiments in the room and take our trash out. The only way I would stay again is if there were no other hotels available and if I did not want to pay too much for a hotel when I mentioned my frustration to several of Gabe front desk attendants they just kept saying the lady that deals with sort of thing is not here. So if that is what you do to resolve issues then that is very poor customer service.

Great experience staying here. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome. Cleanliness of our room and the entire facility was better than most. Delicious hot breakfast in an airy open room. There is a pool but I didn’t have a chance to take advantage of that on this trip.

The staff are extremely professional and kind. Breakfast is also very good. However the elevator is very hot and we had an issue with the air conditioning in our room that could not be resolved. We were offered a new room on the final night of our stay (previously the facility was totally booked).

You get what you pay for. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and clean. Other than that, the room has outdated decor, the refrigerator was leaking and didn't work properly. The TV wouldn't broadcast local channels. But if you're looking for a place to stay that is affordable, this is a good option. We were out of the room for most of the day, exploring the town.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. Stayed here for five nights during a company trip. Staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Breakfast is better than average. I would recommend this place for my family if they were traveling in the area.

Very nice and clean hotel. Front desk staff were friendly. Even the lady the prepared the breakfast (which is excellent) made sure we were happy and our bellies full before heading out for the day. We will definitely stay at this location again when in the area.

A good hotel to stop at on our way south to Florida. A little bit off of the I 64 highway, but it was just fine. The hotel was in good shape with clean rooms. Good breakfast the next morning.

Well managed. Cozy & Cheap luxury rates! Breakfast is served & jacuzzi option is worth it! Nice atmosphere at the standard issue pool, & all around. A definite must stay! Would give five stars but there is room for improvement. Better room services when it comes to cleaning. 8 out of 10 on cleanliness.

Been frequenting this hotel for a while for business. Close to Louisville that you can get there in about 15-20 depending on traffic. But your not in the middle of a big city. Rooms are nice and the breakfasts are good. If you don't like hotel food there his a waffle house across the street and a Subway next to the lobby attached to the hotel.

The hotel was decent for $100. The breakfast was nice and the hotel appeared(key word ) to be updated and clean. However I think it could be cleaner. Seems like they are letting it go. The pool area was nice but very dirty. The pool was dirty and gross. My kids found food and other things in the pool. I would not book again. At first glance you think all is good, but upon further inspection the place just needs a really good scrub down. So if management would clean more thoroughly i would have given 4-5 stars.

The staff here is incredibly friendly. The hotel has been updated and the indoor pool was very nice. We would stay here again in a heart beat. The staff just made it extra wonderful. My 6 year old said she didn't even feel homesick.

Toilet water upon first sight after entering room was not flushed? Strange mildewy smell just outside the bathroom. Breakfast pretty good; no complaints for this caliber of hotel. Front lobby was clean and well maintained.

I drove 14 hours and fast forwarded through two time zones to get to this hotel. The staff that checked me in was super nice and chill. The room was insulated just enough for me to be aware of a car alarm going off nearby and partiers next door past midnight but not be bothered by them. The ideal situation where I can tell what's going on outside my room in case of emergency but unwanted noises easily blend into ambient sound. Breakfast was delicious and I could tell the woman running it took pride in her job of helping people start their day. Wonderful stay all around.

Very nice hotel with wonderful people as staff....however the elevator was getting stuck so we used the stairs....bed linens were thin and no extra blankets...

The room was quiet and clean. Judy greeted me at front desk. She was professional, friendly, and assisted me finding a room I requested. I have no complaints.

This is a great place to stay. The service was fantastic and the rooms impeccable. I had stayed there because of a concert in Louisville, so being right across the river from there is great. And the night desk woman is a friendly professional young lady.

We spent 2 nights here after getting married the room was very clean the front desk was extremely nice both morning and night. 5 star service in my opinion without spending all that money. Keep up the good work.

Not my favorite Best Western.

Staff: Not impressed with the staff. Every time I left and returned there was always one of them smoking at the front entrance. I asked for a late check out the night before my departure and was given until noon which was great. That morning I checked with the guy at the front desk, he confirmed noon check out. I arrived back at my room 11am, beds were stripped, towels on the floor, my lunch was thrown away. Obviously the late check out wasn't relayed to housekeeping. So much for my late check out.

Location: Great location for doing business in Louisville. Short drive with little traffic.

Parking: It took me a day to figure out the entrance/exits at this location. Their parking lot is 1-way direction.

Room: Good size. Couldn't figure out where all the flies were coming from. I was also surprised there weren't any curtains to block out the morning light. The curtains they have are see through at night.

Breakfast: They had a good variety of hot and cold breakfast items. I was able to get what I needed for the mooning. The subway attached to the hotel is nice for a quick lunch.

Clean rooms. Fresh sheets and towels . Pet friendly. Decent rates. They have a Subway in the lobby and a waffle House right next door. Lacasters cafe is so within walking distance

The early morning noise was loud, the staff was not helpful, the desk clerk did not know how to deduct our travel rewards to the account. We had 7 $10.00 travel rewards we would have liked to use. The room was small but clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast ladies nearly ran over you trying to remove the food right on time. I believe they should wait until everyone is finished eating.

Pleasantly surprised. Stayed here last minute with hotwire deal. Front desk staff were super friendly. Lobby was very nice as was breakfast area. Room was updated with pretty decor. Bed and linens were so comfortable, one of the best I've had in a hotel. We walked from hotel to restaurant and live music. Lots of choices within walking distance. Breakfast was busy but there was plenty of food. Usual fare but good. We didn't use the pool but it looked very nice. Much bigger than usual hotel pools. We are local but we might bring our kids back in the winter for a night at the pool. We enjoyed and would recommend.

This is a really nice Hotel in Historic New Albany, Indiana. Its up-to-date and sleek. This hotel is very clean, with a friendly staff. My only complaint is they shut the pool down at 9 for kids and from 9 to 11 is for adults only.... thats the reason I book hotels with pools so my child can swim when we are there.

Room was very nice, updated and clean. Everything looked new! Bed was awesome. Front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area.

We chose this hotel for convenience of location, reasonable price and previous good experience with Best Western Plus in another town.
We were not disappointed.
The staff were welcoming and wonderful, the room comfortable and clean and a HOT BREAKFAST included.
We did not use the large indoor pool or the fitness room but they both appeared to be more than adequate.
The out-of-town location does mean that you need a car to get back into Louisville for evening entertainment, but it is only a 10 minute ride across a non-toll bridge. Plan ahead (Google maps ?) for restaurants because there is not much in the locality and you may want to look out as far as Clarksville.
We would recommend this hotel for casual or business stays.

Everything is great except for the fitness center. Almost everything is broke. Rooms are super nice and staff is really friendly!

Great hotel! We were participating in an activity at Louisville Expo Center and choose to stay here because of the price, breakfast and only 15 min. from the Expo Center. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was more than expected (ham, homefries, eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, waffles, hot cinnamon muffins, plus your standard fare), pool was large, staff was helpful and the price was great! This is the second time we stayed here and we have not been disappointed. We will stay here again.

Ok rooms and breakfast buffet. Stayed Derby weekend so very pricey for the hotel. All staff were helpful and polite.

From hello to goodbye we were treated with a smile and kindness. The room was nice and clean, the bed was soft and also clean. The location was very convenient, close to lots of food. I can't wait to stay there again.

Three stars because it was pricey but the hotel was clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was plentiful and the location ideal for our visit to New Albany. Breakfast items were average and the variety was adequate. The breakfast area was pleasant and spacious.

Eh. We stayed one night, pool is so chlorine filled you can't see the bottom. Huge girl pool though. They have made many improvements but the age of the property and the lack of detailed cleaning had us leave early.

Selected this hotel as I my Dad was having surgery in a nearby hospital and I wanted to be close by. On that point it gets 5 stars, super close and easy to get to from Baptist Health as well as the main downtown restaurants.
The lobby looks nice as did the room upon initial entry. I was happy to see a microwave and frig. However, the placement of the wall outlets stink in for charging cell phones and the like. One lamp I could not find a way to plug in.
Bed was reasonably comfortable but Idk why I could here people going in their rooms all night. Perhaps it was the people letting their doors slam, but it woke me up regardless. My room was also near the ice maker and the sound of folks filling coolers was not restful.
When I used the exercise room, neither the bike nor the elliptical worked, even after going to the front desk and getting maintenance. Thankfully one treadmill was functioning.
The staff was very friendly which was a plus. Hot breakfast was well attended, thankfully, as there was a lobby full of workers filling their mugs and plates.. Lol.

This hotel was located very close to my business meetings. My fifth floor room was comfortable and had recently been repainted. My only complaint was that noise from the interstate did penetrate my room.

I travel 6-8 months a year. I was impressed from the time of late arrival. I pulled into the lot around 10pm and the entrance and surrounding area were just hosed down looking impeccable!! As we all know, in Business, first impressions speak volumes. Great Stay at a Great Property!

We are here for a conference in town. The hotel is very accommodating to our groups needs. The breakfast is very good and well maintained. The front desk even gave us bottles of cold water to take to our conference. The hotel is in a good location just off the highway.

Nice enough, I would stay again for short term, breakfast was normal, good variety, but don't expect much from the maid service, no replacement towels even though we left some on the floor, didn't straighten bed that I had propped up on watching TV, pillow case on wrong side out and worst was finding someone else's beer & coke in fridge, although free beer does make up for some of it

I am really pleased with this hotel. For it being located in a smaller town, it is a really nice alternative to staying in Louisville. The room was clean upon arrival. The room itself was beautiful and the staff was kind. It was lacking in just a few areas, there is no bar, just vending machines, not a huge deal but it would be nice to unwind with a beer or martini without having to leave the building. The only other issue I had with this stay was that while the room was very clean, the shower curtain was not. There was dirt where you could see someone had opened it with filthy hands. It just needs a wash. The ceiling over the shower was a bit dirty as well. Just needs some paint. Overall this was a great stay and will recommend to friends and family.
Now, the breakfast I want to rate on its own, I would give no more than 3 stars. It's 8:35am and the food is already like warm. The potatoes are cold. Biscuits and gravy are good, but just warm. The "smoked sausage" tastes like a hot dog and the oatmeal is closer to grits. I wouldn't touch the eggs (I would like to make an edit and say that they replaced the eggs and they are now fluffy and hot). They have lots of drink options so that was nice and they have a nice selection of tea. But if I were to stay here again I think I'd just stick with a bagel or cereal. Play it safe.

used to be the holiday inn express until BW bought them out.. was very pleased at the amenities, breakfast, clean rooms, hot showers.. very comfortable bed and quite truthfully rather quiet ( even though it's pretty close to highway ) the walls are pretty sound proof. never heard anyone next to me or across the hall. I stayed twice ( 3 nights both times ) traveling to Tennessee stopped here and on way back from Tennessee..staff was very friendly and even let me check out late ( 1 pm ) before leaving.. will stay again ( no bed bugs, hot water, clean beds, comfortable ) very fair rate at 109 a night... thanks!
