Good looking and comfortable hotel for a good price, nice location in Hilversum within walking distance of the station. Only downsides were the lack of a door on the shower which meant the bathroom got a little wet and the cleaning lady who tried to get us out of our room early because of a miscommunication.

Bonus points for the blackout curtains that kept the room pitch black and the great shampoo & soap.

Really lovely hotel and beautiful big rooms. Love the retro vibe they have going on. Too bad the lobby was under construction and so the reception/lobby was slightly small and not entirely clear where we had to be. The room was very large and spacious, had a very homely feel to it and the plant was a nice touch. Comfortable beds and pillows, a spacious desk and great that there was a Nespresso machine too. The bathroom has a slight downside, there is no door for the shower and so the water run accross the entire bathroom. There is a squeegee provided, but there is no drainage outside of the shower. We had booked an early (non-guaranteed) check-in and a late check-out. Sadly there was a minor miscommunication about this seeing as late chek-out is usually until 13.00, but in Sunday's it's until 15.00. The cleaner was at our door at 13.00, after explaining we had a late chek-out, she left only to return 15 min later. She was quite rude and fairly aggressive telling us we needed to be out now. After she called the reception, they told us is wasn't a problem seeing as the room wasn't booked for the day after. Then she left without a word. At the reception they apologised for the miscommunication. All in all a great stay and will most likely be going back.

Really clean hôtel, nice design, comfy beds and soft sheets... Everything you need for a good rest. Would go again without thinking

Cool atmosphere, interesting design but cheaper rooms are a bit small and without cabinets for clothes and suitcases.

Loved the show, nice people but the wardrobe (1e per piece was a ripoff especially as you were not allowed to bring your coats into the theatre

Been at the Gooiland Theatre for several musicals and preformances dor children. It has a nice atmosphere and the small theatre is very suitable for kids. The bar/foyer is large with enough tables to sit down. It's central position makes it easy to reach with public transport. The only drawbacks are the slightly outdated chairs of the theatre itself and the amount of legspace.

Good location and service. But the only downside I can thinks of would be the size of the theater. But for the concert I went to it was big enough.

Something different than regular locations. Meeting facility is a bit older. The chairs, rooms were little bit outdated. I didn't check the other 2 rooms they seems to be better. However the central facility was great and could handle a big crowd. Good coffee and lunch. The only problem on the room we were sitting was the power blackout we had to stop for 30 mins presentations.

Clean and modern. Corridors and breakfast area too cold, no closets for your clothes, must live out of the suitcase. Breakfast is classic, not extravagant, but varied. Very friendly staff. Several English language channels on tv. Close to the train station, many places to eat between train station and hotel. Good place to stay for visiting cities by train. Intercity train directly to Shiphol airport.

The interior design is fantastic. Very thoughtful with a touch of irony. Staff were friendly and helpful. I understand the place came under new management and underwent a renovation, so that might be relevant when reading older reviews.

Very nice and classy theater! The seats are on the small side, but the view and acoustics are great. Good coffeebar too.

Staff were fantastic. The building is art deco and the rooms are big with excellent facilities. Family friendly. We didn't try the food as dietary requirements were a bit restrictive, but plenty if restaurants and supermarkets. The worst thing about the stay? The tiny room rubbish bins! That's the worst I can think of and pretty standard. Would I stay again? Heck, yes!

Wonderfully simple, extremely clean and tidy. Staff are polite and really helpful. Nice area with supermarket close by and many really nice places to eat out. Not far from the centre of Amsterdam 15mins in the car. I Would recommend this place.

Zimmer und Standort super. Personal freundlich und nett. Bis auf die Kirche in der Nähe vom Hotel alles exzellent. Die Zimmer sehr modern und alles neu gemacht.

Lovely hotel and what great value for money! Rooms and modern and on point, the manager even left us a hand written letter adding that personal touch to our stay. Only thing I'd say that needs to be improved is the lift area, and to add phones to our room so we can all reception. Apart from that, I have no complaints and for the price of £70 it was fantastic! Staff at reception were lovely too!

The hotel has just been refurbished but wasn't that special. The shower had a small leak but that wasn't a problem.

The location is great, but it felt like the stasi was watching everything that happened
