Lokal is in a great building, with comfortable and unique rooms. Do be aware that A/C and an elevator are not conveniences included and you are staying in a tourist-heavy area. However, the exercise was probably good for us. Loved our stay and loved the restaurant even more - probably the best place to eat in all of Prague!

We spent two yes, 2 weeks in the Lokal Inn and loved every moment. We understood it was a bit unusual to stay for two weeks but why not. The Lokal Inn is in the hub of the city, surrounded by amazing architecture (throughout Prague 1), the Charles bridge, restaurants, the Kampa Park, monuments, even the gas lit lamp posts are amazing, etc.
The staff are all very helpful and friendly & always smiling. The breakfasts were delicious even for me a veggie and my wife who is needs gluten free food.
The bedroom was spacious and just perfect.

We shall return, there is no doubt!

Great restaurant. The prices are very great as the slide dishes is all you can eat. You got classic Czech food and beers.
In the evening you should make a reservation. Moreover (in the evening) the personal is in a rush and it's quite unpleasant.
I recommend you to go there at lunch time.

I really want to give this place 5 stars. GREAT location, nice restaurant, busy bar - but there was no A/C and hotter than devils in the room. Our room was very nice, updated, large rooms (we had the family room with a balcony), balcony was overlooking the outdoor restaurant seating area - nothing to brag about. Service was very friendly, food was good, and beer was the best. Will go back in a heartbeat - just not in the middle of a scorching summer.

Lokal Inn has a perfect location for easy access to Prague Castle and Old Town. At every turn, the hotel staff was polite and ready to assist no matter the language of choice. The rooms are expansive. We had a family suite capable of easily accommodating 4-6 people. The complimentary breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus had many affordable options. Highest recommendations for this Lokal Inn.

The Lokal Inn was fantastic. Great location, friendly service, and a very lively night life. This hotel is close to everything and we did everything. The only cons would be the climb to the third floor on the stairs with luggage and the lack of AC. We happened to be there during a hot spell but were able to cool the room with the fam and open windows.

We loved it here and would recommend it.

This Inn is beyond. The rooms were large and spotless. The bed was so comfortable. They provided you with a Handy phone with unlimited data and calls abroad. The morning breakfast is a fresh Euro type breakfast and you have a choice of a few different hot items. We had dinner here one night. Definitely want to make reservations!. The location was great. At the foot of the Charles Bridge!

Got a tip this place (dining section goes by the same name, Lokal) was thee place to head for authentic Czech food. It's very good, reasonably priced and within two blocks of the famed Charles Bridge, where one can stroll after their meal. Head here first to set the standard for local food elsewhere in Prague!

We stayed at the Lokal Inn for three nights. Our room was sizable and clean. It was a perfect location. Close to the river and Karlov Most bridge, an easy walk up to the castle and the Strahov Monastery, and off the main path so it's still fairly quiet. It also has an amazing restaurant. It's good, authentic food that's very reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend to a friend.

Lokal Inn exceeded our expectations on every level. We were absolutely impressed by the amenities, the staff friendliness and accommodation, and most of all the location. Being at a walking distance from all of the major touristic sites yet in a more quiet neighborhood where one can be away from the hustle and bustle of Prague was very convenient. We were highly impressed by the reliability and affordability of the taxi service provided. We were also very pleasantly surprised to receive a mobile phone with free internet and free local and international calls to use during our stay. We stayed in their family suite and it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better locale to enjoy the picturesque city of Prague. We will be definitely back.

Fantastic time here. Beautiful, clean and very comfortable rooms which were well attended during our stay. Staff were warm and accomodating throughout and happy to help us. Even made sure we had a packed meal the day we left as we weren't around for breakfast. Great location for getting around the city, with a vibrant bar/restaurant downstairs. We had a delicious meal here on our first night, with the breakfasts plentiful and varied. Set us up for each day with little need for lunch stops. Good 🍺 and coffee too.

A good hotel, great location and nice people.

Bad marks would be for no aircon in the room, making it so hot during the night and unfortunately food selection is not great. Breakfast choices are quite poor and if you are not an early bird there won't be hardly anything left.

I think, to begin with, that this is a statement of excellence as it is.
further more, the Lokal Inn actually did enhance their services. Along side the wonderful home made beer, great crew, awesome location and super tasty meals, they now offer a phone with a local sim, including internet, for free.

Really, the best place ever in my opinion.

The hotel Local Inn is very well located, walking distance to all attractions. Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) got very spacious suit with 2 bedrooms. The beds were comfortable.
Special appreciation to receptionists, they are very helpful to give information about Prague with details about transport and things to see.
Cleaning stuff did very good job. The rooms were immaculate.
Hotel has very fresh and tasty beer coming directly from the pipes.
The minor thing the breakfast could content pancakes or waffles for the kids (but this is only our kids who evaluate any hotel by this little addition).
We would come back to Local Inn again if we are in Prague.

From when we made the booking to when we left the Lokal, the whole experience was amazing. The staff, the food, the beer, the rooms, the service, the personal touch, the location............all excellent. When we come back to Prague in the future, we won't need to look anywhere else, we will come home to the Lokal Inn.

Excellent bedrooms, friendly staff, breakfast pretty good ..... but more like a pub than a hotel, heaving at night downstairs with locals drinking beer and eating , a good sign obviously, but nowhere to sit down comfortably and quietly. However, we would recommend Lokal Inn and stay there again.

Great location and the rooms were clean. There is not a lobby but there is a restaurant. It is difficult to drive to and there is not a close parking garage so plan ahead.

Great room, historic and quaint neighborhood, and located super close to the St. Charles Bridge. There's a busy restaurant/pub on the ground floor, no parking and no elevator, but it all added to an authentic feeling. We would stay here again.

Visited 8th of Dec 2017 for 3 nights we upgraded our room to a junior suite on the top floor. The room was excellent and very quite we slept well all 3 nights
The bar area and restaurant are always busy and you need to book in advance if you want to eat at the hotel. Residents don't get any priority, the reason you have to book is because its good !!!!

Beer is the best in Prague and only 47 CZK

A great hotel in a fantastic location. There are no lifts so would not be good for the less mobile. The most comfortable beds and big rooms. It has its own small bar/restaurant with interesting food choices. Breakfast was as large as you like and the staff were attentive and friendly. I would definitely return to this hotel.

We spent a lovely weekend in Prague and in the Lokal Inn! The hotel is located in one of the most fascinating and touristic areas of the city (Charles Bridge is one minute walking) and it preserves the beauty and charm tipycal of the old buildings. Rooms are well-finished and there's a deep attention to details. Beds are super comfortable, my parents slept like babies and like in no other places before, for real! Lokal Inn staff is so polite and willing to give information or to help guests for any need. Everything was special and perfect, I recommend it indeed!

Very good restaurant. Good location, near the Czech palace. Service is nice. Food was very good, with very well cooked traditional Czech and non-traditional Czech foods. The drinks are good and the potatoes are delicious.

One of the best places have stayed in Prague. The beer on the bar is really fresh and breakfast really good for my taste.

I was invited by a friend who has relocated to Prague and he chose this place as it is easy to find (being next to Charles Bridge on the castle side) but far enough away from most of the tourists. My friend was sitting down and advised Pilsner Urquell. Easy to find in Prague but this had a particularly clean taste. The lady serving us was very friendly and the prices were good. We would have stayed longer and tried the food if we could but had no time.

Great beer and great food!

This was one of the recommendations by our guide as probably a convenient way to sample local foods. Having three branches, this is the only one in Mala Strana area, and is very close to the Charles Bridge. The food was good, great even depending on which dish you ordered, and the sausage was equally as good, and when paired with mustard and horseradish, makes for a perfect starter. The crushed potatoes with onions seem to fit any entrée whether schnitzel, pork skewer or roast chicken. I'd imagine this place would be packed in the evenings as we are lucky to be accommodated only due to the table reservation being an hour and a half away.

Best food in town! Try it and you will never regret.

One of the few places in Prague, aside from breakfast spots, with good, friendly service. Had a few drafts of Pilsner, strong beef broth, house sausage, and potato dumplings with cabbage. All a bit (lard) greasy - to be expected - but tasty and filling. Loved the dumplings. Solid serving sizes for the price and great, convivial atmosphere.

A characteristic hotel, well linked with the center, nice and clean. The staff is very prepared and kind. Only negative point, there isn't a lift so this hotel wouldn't be good for disabled people.

Went there for dinner and it's simply the best traditional Czech food I have eaten. The fried cheese is highly recommended as well as the Prague Ham with whipped cream and fresh horseradish... Nice beer too!
