Hotel superb, very nice rooms: look beautiful, clean, and spaceful ( we had the medium size suite). Only the Spa employees are rude when you are not German, so would not recommend the spa, but the Hotel at 100%.

Had stayed at your Hotel way back in 2011. Have gone to Germany many times after that but somehow never got a chance to go to Cologne, whereby could have stayed at Schloss. But hope to see you soon.
The hotel is just amazing and fantastic. To know more about it the best way is to go and stay there, I bet you will not be disappointed

This hotel is really nice, only 10min from Cologne center, is in the top of a mountain with an amazing view of Cologne. The spa has great prices and packages which may include massage, sauna and Pool. Amazing service and great experience.

Our stay here was amazing. Firstly, we were here because of our dinner at the Vendome. The decor was classic and yet modern. The rooms are beautifully furnished.

The staff were friendly. We communicated with the hotel team before arriving and they have always responded quickly. Staff spoke German and English.

They are super dog-friendly and brought in a new level of luxury to pet owners. My dog was provided a dog bed and bowls and get this, his own dog menu!!!

The location and premises are kept clean and neat. It is a place to relax.

We were there when the pool was closed for renovation.

A well-deserved 5 star hotel with very quiet rooms, a splendid view over the courtyard and the Cologne skyline. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast and fine restaurants, large underground parking area. We have spent a number of weekends there and it never disappoints.

Fantastic hotel! Staff and rooms were amazing and really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and cars coming in and out for the weddings. Will definitely go again.

I went to Schloss Bensberg in July 2018, the hotel is near Koln in Germany.
I had some expectations because I knew Schloss Bensberg used to be a palace.
There was an wonderful view at the grand entrance, on the other hand lobby and elevator were cozy in comparison and the hotel room was lovely. I felt the hotel was attentive to detail.
I visited to restaurant Vandome after I had checked in, it is in Schloss Bensberg and I had a dinner at there. The restaurant’s dishes were all the fragrant and tasty, and plating to the table was art.
I liked village near the hotel, the residents were friendly and the village it self was quiet. If I returned to Germany, I would definitely stay at the Schloss Bensberg again, thanks to the staff of Schloss Bensberg I had an excellent stay.

Great experience. Stunning place. Beautiful setting. Nice rooms, good facilities. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Good F&B. Highly recommend Sunday champagne brunch. Great for a weekend getaway. Romantic setting. Good for active people and families.

Dieses Traumhaft schön gelegene Luxushotel bietet wirklich alles was das Herz begehrt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und perfekt geschult.Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen wobei das naturlich alles seinen Preis hat .

Old authentic palace but now a hotel, nice gardens and views

Opulent and excellent - Ambience, furnishing, design, taste, style, lawn and the view to Cologne Dom! But the highlight that tops that all are the restaurants, one two star and the other three star... A culinary feast not to be missed!

Großartiges, ehrwürdiges Hotel mit einem Hauch von früher. Hier stimmt alles vom Check-in bis zum Checkout wird einem fast jeder Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen, das nötige Kleingeld vorausgesetzt. Die Trattoria ist ein wenig klein, dafür um so gemütlicher. Spitzenessen, etwas hochpreisig. Auch für externe Gäste zugänglich. Unbedingt vorher reservieren. Fazit: 5 Sterne

Excellent hotel with high class service. Good food and top-notch personnel. Wellness area is well equipped. Close to "Königsforst" for running. As it is an old castle converted to a hotel, "navigating" through the complex is not that simple.

Wonderful hotel, very good SPA. Staff not too welcoming. Excellent cuisine in the Vendome Restaurant. Good choice of drinks in the bar. The hotel can be reached by public transport and a little uphill walk

Visited the Christmas Market. Nice atmosphere and not as overcrowded as many other Christmas Markets. Perhaps a little bit expensive (8€) for the size but one drink included.

Stunning old castle that's been modernized and turned into a 5* hotel. A hidden gem 30 minutes east of Cologne. Large breakfast buffet with custom orders for those wanting an omelette, etc. Super comfortable beds, speedy wifi, and a beautiful courtyard.

Went for a wedding! Stunning facade! Very nice rooms and friendly staff. Not much to do in the neighboring town but a close drive to Cologne.

A beautiful place with a romantic atmosphere. We visited schloss Bensberg to celebrate a wedding and it was breathtaking. The dinner could be described as exquisite and I would definitely recommend to go there to anyone, who wants to experience something special.

The location was amazing and the hotel is really big and looks just great. The best is the food at the restaurant which is exquisite!

Just visited the outer parts of the hotel to attend a car event, but everything is nicely done and well cared after.

There is very little to be upset about, maybe the view from the Althoff - a little too beautiful ;)

Very quiet place, The bedrooms are very big and The service is professional and excellent.

Es war ein ganz tolles und entspanntes Wochenende. Vor allem hat uns das super lockere und lustige Personal gefallen. An der Kamin-Bar haben wir die Abende bei Live-Musik ausklingen lassen.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ich habe mich selten soooo wohl und herzlich aufgenommen gefühlt wie hier im Althoff Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg. Die Atmosphäre des Schlosses ist schon eine ganz besondere und alle Mitarbeiter des Hauses haben dazu beigetragen, dass es für mich ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt gewesen ist. Ich habe mich gefühlt wie eine Prinzessin.
Ganz besonderer Dank geht an die beiden lieben Damen des Banketts und an Herrn Wagner selbst, die uns auf das Konzert zu U2 begleitet haben und uns in der VIP-Lounge jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen haben. Mit dem genialen U2-Konzert war das die Krönung. Mein Besuch war zwar kurz, dafür unvergesslich und ganz bestimmt nicht der letzte - ganz liebe Grüße aus dem Süden Deutschlands.

The place was great, the view over Cologne fabulous. Management and stewards are very welcoming. The restaurant Enoteca offers a nice experience for the price.

Single negative point, I was a bit surprised to be charged 22€ additional costs for the night of my car in the garage...
