Hotel staff are extremely helpful and nice. Best complimentary breakfast we have ever had. There was a great selection, with waffles, grits, muffins, yogurt bar, and fresh fruit offered daily; plus additional food items that were rotated daily. The beach access and pool/ hot tub area with bar service, outdoor tv and live music was great. Can't beat the central location with just a short 10-15 minute drive to both Gulf Shores and Florida. We will be staying here from now on!

I have stayed here twice and each time has been Amazing. The staff makes you feel at home. They are extremely welcoming. Helped us out with everything we asked about. Gave us local directions to places. They laughed and cut up with us and it was very refreshing to see them excited about their job. The beach was very nice and clean. The pool was nice and the kids enjoyed it. Had a wonderful summer trip. Thank you!

The experience at The Tides was memorable! This was our second stay while visiting The local area for a beach get away. The clean pool and convenient beach access was most important. On the top of our list was choosing a place with modern decor that included a complimentary breakfast. Our expectations were met!

New hotel, NICE CLEAN large rooms, balcony ocean view is a must... beautiful! Breakfast was awesome daily! Great LOBBY with large glass windows to look out at the beach. Nice pool with great servicing bar. Wonderful beach access just down the ramp and you are on the beach...There's also a shower pedestal to clean and rinse sand off yr body/feet... Parking garage is extremely tight … Big vehicle will have diff. Great access off main road... Great LOCATION!

Amazing atmosphere! The staff is very friendly. The building is clean and organized, which is a plus. I love that the beach is right outside and there is a pool and rinsing station on your way to the beach. There is a hot tub directly across from the pool. Highly recommended!

I don't think I've met nicer employees in all our stays at hotels. Breakfast was superb and free! Better than the $20 Hilton breakfast. Internet reception was great. Room was cleaned daily and new soaps put out.

Very nice staff. Especially Jada at the service desk. Clean and comfortable. Nice beach with very short walk to the beach. Savannah that we rented our chairs and umbrella from was extremely attentive. We never had to ask her to adjust our umbrella, she would come to check on us multiple times to see if it needed to be adjusted. Very nice!!

This Best Western has an amazing location! There wasn't a single morning during our stay that we didn't see dolphins jumping. Multiple times throughout the day we would see "dolphin experience" boats due to the area being so populated with dolphins. The hotel itself is wonderful. It is very clean with comfortable beds. The balcony is large with enough room for 6-8 people to sit comfortably. The breakfast is good considering it is free and convenient. The staff are very pleasant. We will definitely be staying again.

Great hotel. This hotel is beautiful and in a great location. I would recommend the kids bunk bed room and a balcony. The pool was nice, we liked that there was a bar at the pool. Breakfast was decent the usually eggs, waffles, yogurt, grits, oatmeal. The view from the breakfast room was fabulous. Renting beach chairs was very easy, there is a person sitting right on the beach in front of the hotel and you just tell her what days you want them. We had 2 beach chairs and an umbrella for $55 for 2 days. You can bring your own ice chest and drinks to the pool or beach just no glass. My only complaint was that there was no wear to hang wet clothes/suits in the room unless you have a balcony. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

This hotel is so beautiful! The staff are all super friendly and helpful. My family stayed here for two days and we were all blown away with how beautiful the view was from the lobby and our room. My son loved the kids bunk beds and liked having some space to himself. The balcony was awesome! There continental breakfast was very good and had a great selection of foods. The pool and hot tub were both great and you can't beat being right on the beach. The only downside to this hotel is there elevators, they only have two and during busy times it can get backed up. They also have covered parking in a garage so your car can stay out of the sun but it is a pretty tight space. This is a wonderful hotel and perfect for a family with kids! I would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful hotel, with an amazing view!! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of cleaning up our room and keeping our floors sand free! With comfortable beds and a decent size bathroom, this is a hotel we will stay at again. Enjoy eating breakfast from the 4th floor and taking in the amazing view that overlooks the ocean. Finally the breakfast was FANTASTIC. Excellent variety. More than just pastries. A balanced breakfast for sure!

This is a WONDERFUL hotel! My sister and I stayed several days and enjoyed every minute. The room was very quiet and immaculate. Great location. Convenient to just about anything you have in mind. The staff was exceptional. Very curtious and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Great variety of food to choose from. This will definitely be the hotel I'll stay at whenever I'm in Orange Beach.

I absolutely loved this place!!!! It's the only place I could find to accommodate a family of 6 in one room and it's reasonably priced for such a large group! The staff was great! The view was great! The food was fantastic! Free great breakfast with wide variety to choose from!!!! The rooms were very nice roomy and beds were wonderful! There was something for the whole family to do right there at the hotel and walk out 24 access to the beach! Hot tub and heated swimming pool over looking beach with poolside bar! We had an amazing time! It was so great that even in the end when we had an unfortunate event of our teen acting out, we still cherish the great memories and times we had there and definitely will be returning to this location! We just sold our condo in the area and were looking for a new place to stay when we come down. I think we have found it. This place is great. Beautiful views, great location, and an extremely friendly staff. We especially liked the free breakfast buffet. We will be back.

Great hotel and wonderful environment; however, the front desk manager was not helpful when checking in or out. When we arrived early, we were told by the manager that we could not check in until 4 p.m. I do understand that sometimes early check-in is not available, however just a short time later when we returned to the check-in counter and the manager was not around, the employee checked us in with no problem before 4 p.m. This employee was extremely nice and helpful. Upon checking out, I asked for a receipt. This same front desk manager told me that a receipt could not be provided because the room was booked through a third party. That is understandable as well; however, I provided my credit card to the hotel for room service and incidentals. I should have been provided a receipt to show that my credit card was not charged because there were no charges for room service, alcohol, etc. Although the hotel was really nice and refreshing, I would not stay there again or recommend. I had many hotels to chose from and this is the one I choose. I'd rather spend my hard earned money on places that strive on excellent customer service that would be of better service. This manager is a bad representation of the entire company. This manager is the reason that I would never stay there again or recommend this hotel.

Great hotel for families, especially those with younger children. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast is well above what is at normal hotels. The mini waffles were great. The room was nice, spend the extra money for a ocean view.

Although this hotel is only 15 minutes from our house, we chose it for an overnight get away. Raising Grandkids made this a special treat for my birthday!
The lobby is by far the star of the hotel. With comfortable seating and full wall panoramic Windows showcasing their view of the Gulf it was wonderful! They have the expected free breakfast, and there is a full bar in that beautiful lobby.
We were pleasantly surprised by the tray with 2 glasses of wine and assorted treats! If there was any drawback it would be the beds. Due to a health issue we need rooms designed with handicap aides. The room available had 2 queens. (Never our first choice) and it was not until late in the evening I realized the 2 beds have completely different levels of firmness. The 1 we had gravitated to because of location was rock hard. And I do mean, painfully hard. After tossing and turning I moved to the other bed to read and found it was far softer.
We will absolutely enjoy more nights away with walks on the beach at the Best Western Premiere.

It was my first time to have a room with bunk beds. My kids love it! I am very satisfied with the cleanliness and the services they provided. Breakfast was superb!!! Will definitely go back.

This place is actually really really good! I got a room for a night and it was probably the best hotel I’ve been to so far! The breakfast was good, the room was amazing (the room I got was a room with a bunk bed which was really cool), the pool was cool and the main reason I booked here was for the beach and it was breathtaking. Definitely coming back! I really recommend this place

We've always stayed in condos but after staying at the Tides we won't bother with a condo again! The breakfast is very good, even my picky eaters loved it and the view from the dining area is incredible. There are fresh beach towels always available at the pool. The staff is great. I liked it so much i booked another stay before we even got home.

We most often stay at Hilton properties or Holiday Inn’s, but the price was right to stay here. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be a huge understatement. Rooms are very spacious (two queens w bunks) the staff is super nice and helpful and the amenities are really, really good. Comfortable beds, nice lobby bar overlooking the gulf, and a great pool area where the heated pool felt perfect in February. You don’t need to go anywhere else in orange beach/gulf shores area-Great Value, Great stay!!! Ask for Desmond-he was really helpful

We stayed here for 3 nights. Beautiful, clean, hot breakfast and lots of food choices. We had waterfront view from our room. Left the balcony door open the entire time were there so that we could hear the waves crashing while we slept.The staff was very friendly and seemed to like their jobs. Lots of smiles noted. Especially Jo at the front desk. She saw that we were sitting outside in wet suits. She brought us warm blankets without us asking. She is truly an asset to your company. We are already planning our next trip for 2019 and bringing our kids and grandkids. Love this place. Please show your staff some appreciation. It is rare to find so many friendly people in one place.

Our stay at the Tides was exceptional!!!!! All of the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast presentation and dining area were beautiful. We looked forward to enjoying the beach view from the dining room as we ate breakfast each morning. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Mitzi, Ann, and Daniel were awesome. The staff that are in place at the hotel made our stay, hands down, one of the best stays we've had at a hotel. We highly recommend this hotel and we look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Hotel was about 2 or 3 years old when I stayed in 2018. You can't beat brand new. Not a huge hotel which I kind of like, but also not many rooms directly facing the ocean, so book early. Awesome breakfast, nice staff, great parking out of the sun and it is just a 50 yard walk on private board walk to the crystal white sand beach. What's not to love!

The rooms are on the small side but everything else was amazing. Breakfast service is well done, but make sure you get there early because plenty of people go back for seconds. Rooms are not extravagantly decorated, but they have a quiet, homey feel to them. My family and I had a great time here.

Our stay last year was amazing! We are here for the 2nd year in a row, celebrating our honeymoon. The service isn't as great, it's not as clean & they are closing the hot tub earlier than they advertise. Things are just not as great this year. I gave this place 5 stars last year & a great review. This year I give it only 3 stars.

Fancy hotel right on the beach with an amazing view from the lobby. They have separate bunk beds and bean bag chairs for kids in some rooms and our kids loved them! Beach was very nice and they have direct access past the nice outside pool. I didn’t know what to expect considering it is a Best Western but this place is very nice! I will be back for sure.

My stay at this hotel and location was absolutely fabulous! The views are breathtaking and it’s clean,very helpful staf,f very courteous too... You have a full hot breakfast and cocktail bar for relaxing...I highly recommend it to anyone looking for beautiful view on a beachfront at an excellent price... I will be back Many times to enjoy!!!!

This was a great stay at the beach! The staff was ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was good and well apportioned. Nice pool area with the bar open on weekends. We would definitely return.

My wife and I stayed in the off season (late October). The staff was very helpful and attentive. The views are breathtaking. The breakfast was very good, the items changed daily. We stayed for 3 nights then decided we liked it so much we stayed another night but had to change rooms. Both rooms were very clean and contemporary. The beds are comfy. They were shooting a national commercial while we were there so that was neat to see. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. We will definitely be back.

This is a great hotel with a very reasonable price.

It really helps that this is a newly built hotel (2017). It not only has great decor and amenities, but is a really smart design for Hurricane prone areas (the firs three floors are parking making this a much safer hotel if flooding should occur). The common areas are really beautiful and functional. The guest balcony is great, and the pool, hot tub, and balcony are all nice for the size of the hotel (somewhat smaller hotel means fewer guests sharing these spaces).

My family stayed in one of the "Inland" rooms with bunk beds. Although these lack a balcony and direct beach views, they are fantastic rooms for a family and the common spaces in the hotel are great for views and hanging out. The pool is rather small, but the outdoor bar and overall layout of the common areas make this a really fun hotel to enjoy. It is unfortunate that the nearby fishing pier is private access for another property, but the location on Orange Beach is excellent for this hotel.
There are a lot of great little features at the Tides, like free water refills at the Brita filler station, free Keurig Coffee, free breakfast, free parking, etc. This makes the cost of the stay very reasonable and predictable.

I highly recommend it to families or couples.

The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived for check-in a little early and our room wasn't ready yet. We were given a card to access the pool and beach while we waited. We asked for dinner recommendations and weren't disappointed with the selections. The hotel was fantastic but my wife and I agreed that the staff turned everything up to 11. We will stay there if we're through that way again.

Staff at Best Western Premier Tides was with us throughout Hurricane Nate! They went way above and beyond expectations!!! They are the reason we were able to have a wedding in the middle of a hurricane after our wedding planner quit. Kudos to Best Western Tides and Cosmos Restaurant!! And special praise to Jeanna, Lynn and Mitzi at Best Western Tides, Orange Beach. I highly recommend this hotel!! 5 Stars for sure!!

The hotel is really nice. There are plenty of spaces to park because they have an on-site 3 level parking deck. The rooms are spacious with nice views of the beach. The breakfast was outstanding. We encountered a couple of issues during our stay but the staff was very accommodating and helped us with the small problems we had.

Came here for a businesses meeting. The meeting room was very nice. Lobby / dining room has floor to ceiling windows with an excellent view of the gulf. The rooms I stayed in were nice and clean. Staff was very friendly.

We spent the last week of September 2017 at The Tides/Best Western in Orange Beach AL. What a great experience. Modern contemporary, boutique vibe, great pool and beach and reasonable room rate. Close to shopping, restaurants and recreational services. Chose this over three other beach hotels we visited to accommodate ourselves and family visiting from other parts of the country. Great choice and I highly recommend The Tides in Orange Beach.

I really appreciated this property. If you are looking for a clean, sleek, and relaxing place to stay on Orange beach without breaking the bank, this is it. Beautiful view of beach and breakfast was delicious. The only thing that was average was staff. Not good, not bad... just average. They were OK. This hotel is worth the visit.

Great experience overall. Quick and prompt check in through check out. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Nice and close to the beach. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The pool area is beautiful. Best Western knows how to throw down when it comes to their breakfast, EXCELLENT breakfast. Definitely coming back for the next trip.

Loved this hotel! The decor was beautiful--lots of great sea life photography and a modern feel. Beds were comfy and the breakfast was fresh with lots of fruit and hot choices to enjoy in the dining area overlooking the beach. We even spotted dolphins while having breakfast. Nice pool area with bar and the live music on the patio was an unexpected treat. Great value. Would definitely stay here again!

The place is really nice. The service is amazing. Parking garage was great. Wonderful view. My really only and big complaint is the rooms. When you first walk into the rooms it looks great. When you kneel down and look down at whats really there its disgusting. There were piles of sand you could clearly see in the closet. I was laying down next to my bed and i looked under the bed and i had found trash and a toy shark. House keeping does not take very good of the place. I would possibly come back if the housekeeping would be better!

This hotel is beautiful. It's right on the beach and that area of the beach is not crowded at all. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The parking garage makes parking and accessing the hotel a breeze. Our room was spacious and the beach front balcony was perfect! The complimentary breakfast is restaurant worthy and is available until 10am, so you can sleep in and still make it to breakfast. We will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed here for a short beach visit. We loved the bunk area for the girls! The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times. We enjoyed our stay here so much and would do it again! I read reviews before arriving about the small pool that concerned me. We never had an issue having a place to lounge or feeling like the pool was too crowded. It was an excellent experience all the way around!

It was our first time in Orange beach and the Best Western hotel was the perfect pick for us. The cleanest and most comfortable hotel we ever stayed in. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb. The location is perfect. The entire experience was perfect. I would highly recommend Best Western the Tides to everyone.

My wife and I stay at the Tides Hotel was relaxing and enjoyable. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were great and the view of the ocean from our room balcony was very comforting. We are planning on doing a longer stay the next time we go there.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. This is actually my 2nd review. The first I gave a 5 star review because everything was wonderful, clean, great breakfast and a nice staff. However when we checked out of the hotel there was a question as to charges on our account for a fee of $20.00 per day for a pet.
We had booked our room 6 months prior to our stay in which we paid in full all room charges. We were NOT TOLD of any additional charges nor did the confirmation letter state that there would be.
When checking in we were told of a $200.00 deposit for any damages which I understood and was stated in the paperwork that was signed. She stated that"your room is paid in full"but scanned our card for incidentals. Which is customary.
Upon checking out the front desk girl stated that no additional amount was charged to our account. After leaving I saw that this charge had been placed for $100.00. She(the front desk girl)seemed so confused with the account. Seemed confused and another girl that worked there was very rude to her when she was trying to get some help from her.
So now I'm faced with trying to get this cleared up because we should not be charged for something that was not told to us on 3 different conversations regarding billing charges. First when booking second with checking in and third with checking out.
I have attempted to call the manager Jeana Dillon several times with no success. She called me back and asked me to call her back. I did within 30 minutes and she was unavailable. I have since made 2 other attempts with no return call. I have sent 4 emails with one response that she was sorry she had not gotten back to me she was feeling "under the weather".
To this date no resolution to the matter and it has been a week now of unanswered phone calls and
unanswered emails.
PLEASE RESOLVE THIS MATTER!
I should have the $100.00 credited back to my account. I was never told of this charges and never authorized the charge to my credit card account.
I would like to settle this asap. Thank you.

Great Hotel. Somewhat pricey but hey, its a business and it's their peak time, so I cannot blame them for the rate of the room. If you can manage it within your budget, it is a great stay! Normally I would stay in a condo but residing here has definitely brought another perspective for my future Gulf Shores / Orange Beach excursions! I removed one star because they did not allow a late check-out which I need due to my health condition. Otherwise, the stay was perfect!

This was our families (my Wife and I and four children) first trip to Alabama. The Best Western Premier Tides Hotel was the perfect home base for our seven days of activities. This beautiful hotel is located directly on the beach/Gulf of Mexico and offers breath taking views. The professional hotel staff operates at a high level assuring the best experience for its guests. Simply said... it's an excellent Hotel run by an excellent staff in an excellent location.

We enjoyed our stay. The resort is right on the beach. The breakfast was great. My only problem was my room wasn't clean as I would have liked it to be and the whirlpool heater was broken. With that being said, It's a great place to stay for a budget friendly vacation. My husband and I will definitely be back.

Best hotel I have ever been to. Ultra Luxury right on the beach. The breakfast buffet is better than most breakfast restaurants. Each and every member of the staff that we encountered treated us like family. Could definitely notice the southern hospitality. This hotel is within walking distance to multiple restaurants, grocery stores, and convenience stores. I loved everything about this place!

Loved it here!! New & CLEAN!! Our room was SPOTLESS when we arrived. HUGE in my book! We really enjoyed our beautiful ocean view from our 5th floor balcony! Loved the easy beach access, pool, & hot tub. Very nice lobby/breakfast area with beautiful view of the beach and friendly staff. My kids 1st trip to the ocean was a WONDERFUL experience thanks to our stay here. We would definitely visit again if we go back! * My only wish was that they had music playing by the bar/pool area. There were speakers but no music. I was told the stereo system wasn't programmed yet. I hope they get that fixed soon for future guests. A little Jimmy Buffet or Bob Marley would have been nice & would probably help with bar sales during the week :)

Staying in a two bed and bunk bed room with two adults and two kids. The room is larger than a normal hotel room, with plenty of storage spots and a good size bathroom. Every room features a pod coffee maker. The bunk bed cubby area is super cute, giving the kids their own room (with their own TV!). Yes, there is a decent railing on the top bunk too. The only drawbacks are the doors are a bit I heavy and the beds are on the form side (both not a big deal). As for the pool, it's on the smaller size but well maintained. It's heated too and there are ample seats on the pool deck. The lobby is huge with a wall of windows looking out on to the gulf (gorgeous) and has plenty of seating for the breakfast buffet. The food is above average for a complimentary breakfast buffet. There is also a bar at the pool and in the lobby, with snack options at the lobby bar (and a tiny sundries shop). On Saturday they had a shrimp boil that was free and very plentiful! Overall a great stay. The only real negative was that the cleaning crew was very slow at getting to the room. Not a big deal though.

Very nice & clean hotel. Very modern decor. Hotel was located in a desirable location near many eateries. Breakfast was amazing. The views were spectacular. The Lobby views were amazing as well. The only downfall was there was only 2 elevators so the wait was a little long.

This is a nice hotel to stay in. Even though we decided to go when the weather was not too warm, and the bar at the pool wasn't open (lol) we will stay here again. The staff is super friendly, the breakfast is good and you're right off the beach. The beach has SO many seashells. Almost too many. Get an ocean side room, so you can get a great view! It's worth it.

This hotel is absolutely phenomenal. The picture could never describe to you just how great your experience will be. Mitzi at the front desk is awesome; she checks you in, will make you a mean Hurricane and will then help you plan your itinerary for the day!! Housekeeping and the breakfast staff are phenomenal! The rooms and the view are absolutely beautiful and the hotel has this clean, crisp smell, as if it was just built the day before. The hot tub was awesome. It was a little cool so we couldn't enter the pool, but it was beautiful as well. We can't wait to come back when it's warmer. Most of all, the bed and shower!!!!! Hallelujah!! You won't want to get out of either of them!! Pick this hotel and you won't be upset.

Great place to stay and a responsible price too! Friendly staff who all say Hi when they walk by and talk to you on the elevator. Complimentary breakfast and drink station (24-hours) with sweet tea, coffee, and water. Beautiful views and love the atmosphere of the hotel with great art and colorful paint. Warm heated outdoor pool and its own beach access. Can't wait to go back.

Truly enjoyed out stay at the Tides. The staff were all so personable. The decor and gulf views are awesome. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best offered by any hotel. Will definitely return and recommend others to stay here.

The Best Western Premier, Tides Hotel is a fantastic place on Orange Beach to stay. The rooms are beautiful and bright and the staff is so caring of their guests. I would highly recommend this property. The location is great and there are many restaurants in the area.

Great hotel with a beautiful lobby. Stayed 2 nights. It was nice to sit outside on the balcony and have breakfast while watching the ocean. It's really new so everything is clean and modern. Friendly staff helped us navigate the community well with the interactive touch-screen computer set up in the lobby. I'm only giving 4 stars for a couple reasons: while the overall breakfast including waffles was good, the sausage served appeared and tasted old and reheated - both days I was there. Also, the hot tub is by the parking garage and an additional barrier would give more privacy. The heat in the pool, in December, should be turned up for added enjoyment. These are only minor complaints for a majorly nice hotel that I will most definitely visit again.

First, I'd like to say that I've NEVER had a better experience anywhere I've ever stayed! The views and location of The Tides is incomparable to any other, and if that isn't enough, the staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The front desk treats every guest as though they're family, and unlike any other! The Tides is an excellent place for the whole family! The rooms were always cleaned, and the beds made perfectly! On top of all of this, the breakfast is immaculate, and better than mom's! (but don't tell her that) I most certainly plan to stay here in the future!! The hotel is very nice and clean. The views are amazing. The staff is very nice and attentive. With the exception of one of the cleaning staff who was complaining that she had a hangover and didn't feel like being there. We were checked in by Kristen at the front desk and she was about the only one we ever talked to she checked us in and told us about the hotel, then we came down looking for somewhere to go eat and she gave us recommendations and even directions to some good places (she was right on the target on what we were looking for)
Then she was there again for check out and everything went smoothly on that part as well. The tea is delicious in the lobby and the breakfast was a great plus as it seemed more like one you would have to pay for then a complimentary one. The shampoo and conditioner wasn't replenished during out stay but we didn't like it anyways it seemed cheap and tangled the kids hair so we just bought some travel size and kept it with out clothes. I would def recommend to anyone and will be back to see y'all again. Thanks again Kristen for taking such great care of us and see you soon.

This hotel has obvious positives. It's brand new, oceanfront and is angled on the coastline to provide great views of sunsets from spacious balconies. Covered parking was a plus. And you'll have a typical hotel breakfast offered every morning (fresh fruit was offered but seemed to be running low each morning).

Housekeeping at this hotel is rather unacceptable however. Room was not serviced two out of the three days we were there. All that was needed was a quick freshening up of the bathroom. This did not seem to be an isolated occurrence either.

This is still a new hotel...so they are still working on it. We stayed for 3 nights in a beach view queen room and I have absolutely no complaints. The tile was beautiful and I loved the barn door closet! The complimentary breakfast was really great. It was actually decent food. The lobby was very modern and open. If you can't afford to stay at the popular Turquoise condos, this should be your next option! Ignore all the snooty reviews. This place was lovely.
