Lovely place, very cooperative and friendly staff

The Hostel changed its name by the time of our arrival. We were worried by its 'permanently closed' status shown on this map. But it's actually still in business. The hostel is next to metro and bus stations. With many food options nearby. The neighbourhood is so busy therefore it could be quite noisy even at night. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Whats the different between ''Days Inn Berlin City South'' and ''Grand Hostel Berlin Urban'' ??? I booked before month ''Days inn Berlin CS'' and now i see in my booking list that new name ''Grand Hostel Berlin Urban'' ?

Not too expensive, very friendly and fresh service. The rooms look on a main traffic junction which can be loud. The breakfast is totally ok as long as you are no vegan (veggi works) :)
all in all a very uncomplicated and solid stay.

Nice position within U bahn and Bus stations nearby. Cosi room, clean. Fantastic breakfast served from 6:30-10:30 working days and 7:00-11:00 weekdays.
Only bad things is you can't easily find the main entrance between shops.

Inexpensive, good rooms, nice breakfast, very good starting point in Berlin.
Tip: If you arrive by car, use the parking lot of Karstadt across of the Days Inn. It's open 24/7 and costs 5€ per day

Ok place to stay, a bit noisy but it is very easy to reach any point in berlin and the place is quite cheap.

I only stayed for one night on my way from eastern Germany back to the UK. I wish that I could have stayed longer.

I encountered 3 Duty Managers who were all very helpful, even helping me with my atrocious German language. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent. The willingness to look after my luggage, whilst I spent the morning of my flight in the city, was most helpful.

The standard of room and its' cleanliness was well up to expectation.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Wir waren für ein Wochenende da, bisschen kitschig eingerichtet und recht spartanisch, aber janz ehrlich - es reicht.. Gleich 2 UBahnen direkt vor der Haustüre und in 10 Minuten am Alex.. Von der Lage her recht ideal, dafür beim Hotel eher klein und alles recht eng und verwinkelt.. Dafür sauber und recht preiswert..

Medium 3 stars hotel. Clean rooms (everyday cleaning service) even if noisy if you get one of the rooms with windows on Hermanplatz or Sonenallee. You also can hear everything from the people next door. Good service, a continental or mediterranean breakfast included. Free Wi-fi included even if you have to ask a new account every 24 hours with 1GB limit/day. Unfortunatly far from the main tourist attractions even if it's cheaper than the places in Mitte and you can reach everything using the U-Bahn. Easy to reach from Shönefeld Airport (bus 171 stops in front of the hotel or you can use U7+X7 or 171).
