I've been here multiple times as an overnight guest and for social events as well. This hotel has one of the nicer lobbies for Columbia. In general, not a lot of new hotels in Columbia, but this one is kept well. They have multiple ballrooms for events and weddings. Convenient parking, right across from the Columbia mall and easy highway access.

Conveniently located off I-70, my boys and I enjoyed the nearby parks while my wife attended a professional event hosted at the hotel. We also made use of the indoor pool (the outdoor pool was a bit chilly for our tastes), which was comfortable and enjoyable, though both pools didn't have much room in the shallow end for our little boys. The room was pleasant and worked just fine for us. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay if you have a pet! I've stayed here a few times now and I have to say it's a small town hotel. Not fancy, not San Diego or Los Vegas, but better than a motel. Convenient location, restaurants, salon, pool, conference rooms, etc. Nothing vacation worthy. Just a clean safe place to rest. What would make it a five star? Some updating of the all facilities. Staff is awesome, friendly, and helpful. I'll be visiting again.

I came here to work as a proctor for the Bar Exam. Beautiful lobby near the Expo center. Food served was fine - build your own sandwich. If the hotel is in charge of feeding us, it would be nice to see other options than just sandwiches and salads.

From the outside it looks like just like a normal hotel, but the inside is much nicer than you'd expect. The staff was friendly, helpful, and patient. I attended an event, and it was raining outside. The indoor doors were locked, and people were told they'd have to go out into the rain and enter through the outside doors. They took my advice to put up a sign well before, so you could turn around and drive your vehicle to the proper side of the building. I have never stayed in a room here, but the areas I saw including the public restrooms were clean.

Great hotel! We stopped to stay the night on our drive back to Ohio from Kansas City, and they were incredibly accommodating. The toilet in our original room was making a really weird noise, and we went down and they immediately upgraded our room and moved us, even though we didn't ask for it and wouldn't have cared if they didn't. The rooms are nice and clean.

Very nice Holiday Inn Excutive Center. Everything was fresh, clean, and in it's place. Good, quick, knowledgable service. Always a friendly smile and greeting. Sports bar food,drinks, and service very good. We were near the indoor pool and fitness center, no problem with noise. Will re book next trip.

Beautiful hotel! Clean with lots of amenities! Super nice staff and great rooms with very nice bathrooms. Within walking distance to a mall. Made it nice so we didn't have to drag Uhaul trailer everywhere.

Easy access off I-70. Adequate parking, even with trailer. Friendly service. Price reasonable relative to comparable motels, but in my opinion they are all too expensive. Shower was cool, definitely not warm water. Cool enough to irritate me and that made it not worth the money. I reported the issue. I thought the front desk clerk might voluntarily offer some discount, but did not. Cool water issue was probably a temporary problem, none the less I am less likely to stay here again the next time I pass through Columbia.

This is my second time here in the last two years, I am Platinum Elite level. Both times here I was upgraded to a 2 story suite, how awesome!! Nice to see a place take care of their own! Next time I come through town, guess where I'll stay? That's right, here!!

I can't speak as to the area around the hotel as I've only ever been here for short periods of time and after dark. The hotel itself is pretty nice with a modern lobby and atrium. Rooms have large bathrooms with lots of counter space. Not sure about free breakfast, I've always left before or would have been served. Internet is acceptable with good download speed,. More than enough to stream Netflix in HD. If you're looking for a hotel near the airport, this is not it, unfortunately; otherwise it's a great stay.

We didn't stay overnight but met for a picnic lunch in the lobby. Our family had a room, we used the shower there and the housekeeping staff was so kind and helpful. The pool smelled so strongly of chlorine that we did not swim. The outdoor pool was still winterized. The facilities were satisfactory. The shower and tub in the room were very large and the water pressure was great. The bathroom in the room overall was 5 stars.

Nice hotel, a little older but the sports zone next door has decent food and is convenient. I enjoyed my multiple stays there because of the service and the convenience of the hotel / restaurant. Internet speed is decent enough.

The customer service is some of the best I have ever experienced. Strong statement you say? I left my work laptop bag and was contacted and the bag returned. It is always nice to be reassured of the good nature of people and these are some of the best!

I attended a professional conference at the Holiday Inn Executive Center this passed weekend. I did not stay at the hotel because I was able to stay with friends who live in Columbia. The staff were always helpful and courteous. The 2 catered meals I had were very good as well. The look and feel of the hotel is a little dated, but that wouldn't stop me from attending events there. Overall, I had a very nice weekend at the center.

The staff were inviting and professional. Our room was great. Clean and what you would expect from a great hotel. The event they catered and hosted for us was superb. They were incredibly helpful with set up and clean up. I was expecting too need to do most of our when in reality they just took the reins and got it done! They met every need we could ask of them with a smile on their face. Their food was delicious and served on time and nice and exactly the temperature you would expect. I would recommend them again and again as well as have future events here.

It was wonderful! We stopped on our way to Ohio and then again on our way back home to Colorado. We were traveling with our two grandchildren and anyone who knows about traveling with children in a car all day, knows all about the good and bad. Both times that we checked in, was late at night. The gentleman who works the night shift, was there both times we checked in. He showed such compassion with our two grandchildren, one of which threw himself on top of the luggage that was on the cart. In a tired fit. He was very accommodating in getting us another room when we realized that double beds were too small. The gentleman just kept talking in a soothing tone and even got Zach smiling. In the morning, on both occasions, the front manager, was there to greet us and direct us to the breakfast buffet. She was very warm and friendly, which is just what you need first thing in the morning, lol.

I have traveled extensively and I have to say that this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I would recommend this hotel 100%. The service, staff, breakfast and rooms all get the highest review from me. This is definitely a hotel that I will stay at again!

This is a very nice hotel in a convient location for a cross country trip. It seemed to have nice and spacious rooms for business conferences. There is also a nice sports themed restaurant attached I did not eat the menu food but the continental breakfast was decent.

Nice place all around, from what I saw. Their lounge area is large and well decorated. The staff are as helpful as you'd expect, and their various conference rooms are clean and easily distinguishable.

Nice place to stay. They room was descent. Part of the hotel seemed old, but the conference rooms and bars were very nice!

Thanksgiving buffet was wonderful. All the waiters were excellent. They are very attentive.

Very clean, very quiet with plenty of parking. Great place for Business travelers and just as great for a family. Stay here every time I come to town for work. The lady at the front was very helpful and courteous.

Place was nice. A little outdated. Handicapped room was down a floor and almost at the end of the hall.

Good hotel...my room had desk right next to a/c unit which had cold air blowing on me while trying to work.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean. My only complaint would be that the shower wouldn't get very warm and the shower head on our room was very low (I'm 5'4" and barely fit under it)!

Convention area was generally clean. Hallway carpet was pretty. Cons were a) the diaper changing station near the expo center was gross. I had to clean before I could use it. b) the cigarette smoke from outside the main entrances wafted in so much that we thought someone was smoking inside. c) the self-playong piano in the very large atrium was so out of tune that it sounded like a kid was trying to play something but was still learning. I would not have been able to sit in the atrium and enjoy myself.

Went for a conference. Staff was helpful directing me to the correct room, lobby was bet clean and inviting. If I'd had more time I would have stayed for drinks at the lobby bar. Conference room was clean, well set up, and plenty of refreshments.

Wonderful place to stay! Accommodations are beyond expectations! It can accommodate most any need you have. The extras: 2 restaurants (sports and a 4 star), a hair salon, coffee bar, lounge with music and bar, gift shop, room service... So many great extras plus they give you vouchers for freebies and/or discounts.
The rooms are big, comfy and very nice. The supplies are beyond your soap and shampoo/conditioner...
Honestly, too many extras to even list. You can even swap your pillows if they're not hard or soft enough!
They aim to please and it is appreciated...

Staff was very professional and courteous. Overall the hotel is nice. Some collegues and I stayed in rooms on the first floor. While they were mostly clean there was some pet hair on the floor and I noticed some stains on the curtains. Bathrooms are kind of small and the rooms looked recently updated. Over all the experience was good. Rooms just need a little more attention.

While I was expecting a little more, I wasn't disappointed. I was on the first floor and I did enjoy the patio area outside my room. The water was hot and the pressure was good. Last but not least, the staff was really helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed dining in at their restaurant.

The room was clean and enjoyable. The amenities were definitely up to par. The restaurant/sports bar was enjoyable with TVs in every direction. The conference hall was great and the lobby was perfect to get business done.

My family and I had a great stay. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was bigger than most hotel rooms. Everything was clean and well take care of. However, it was the fantastic staff which made our stay very enjoyable.

Lobby is beautiful, convention facilities are good for small gatherings (a few hundred). Staff are friendly and attentive. Ample free parking, close to restaurants and the Columbia Mall

Stayed here for a exam the following morning. The first room I was given had someone else already in it. They gave me a update to a suite which was nice. Clean rooms, would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was easy to get to, but could use some freshening up. Keyed doors didn't always work, doors in rooms didn't always close. Supposed to get breakfast, but couldn't find it. Very nice workout room and pool area. Overall wasn't a bad stay, just not exactly what I expected for the price I paid.

The service was great at helping me find the event I was attending that day. I recommend going back for future events or overnight stays

We attended an event at the Holiday inn executive center and found the location to be clean, well managed and nicely kept. The service was lacking tough in regards to waiters refilling waters. I cannot say if this was a private company or the staff of the executive center though

This hotel was great. I was here for 1 night for work, but the room was spacious and clean and had a good buffet breakfast. They also had 1 of the biggest gyms for a hotel I've ever seen and being on the road everyday that was a nice treat. There was lots of stuff right around the hotel and would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for a conference. Overall it's decent. It's an older hotel. Has had the bathrooms remodeled and they are really nice. The beds leave a bit to be desired. Mine squeaked everytime I moved. Has to plug in my son's equipment behind the night stand and it looked like it hadn't been dusted in months back there. This caused a bit of sneezing for me. Nice large TV and microwave and fridge, can though. Staff really nice and professional, though. It's definitely stay here again. Just need to update the beds!

Attended 3 day conference here. Rooms are clean, nice TV, WiFi, refrigerator in room. Conference rooms are clean and comfortable and food provided was quite good.

I attended a work function hosted by the Holiday Inn Expo Center. The facilities and staff were excellent.

Very clean, very friendly staff. Easy access from highway, even the mall is close. However I am here for my husband and his heart surgery at the VA. Even though I wish it was closer. Its still a great hotel.

Nice rooms and a pretty good set up. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms seemed to be recently updated.

Good venue. Lot's of space. I wasn't overly impressed with the food. Wilted lettuce and just overall disappointing steaks. Still a good venue with respectable drink service, but the food has been below average on both of my visits.

Went for a social event. As always, they host a great property. The guest bar in the lobby area is perfect for a chat.

Really no complaints. We've stayed here a handful of times and had great stays each time. The rooms are clean and decent size, the staff is friendly, the bar and grill is decent, and Churchill's is great too. Just make sure to ask if there's any deals going on for the restaurants when you check in. One visit resulted in a buy one entree, get a second for free.

Pros: Large rooms with relaxing beds. Comfortable and safe feeling with the kids. Front desk person was very friendly and professional.

Cons: Outside of the building and the lobby area are extremely nice but the rooms feel dated with older appliances and furniture. Multiple walls in the room had scruff or dirt marks, kinda gross. And compared to the holiday inn I stayed at last night for the same price I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of complimentary breakfast. Also they added crown molding as an after thought and it has a weird gap between it and the ceiling which I wonder if they ever dust.

Stayed here overnight for a business trip, room was clean. Bathroom was okay, the shower leaked and the drain was slow. Close proximity to the mall I was working at. Wi-Fi speeds were better than most hotels. Overall not a bad place.

Clean and plenty of pillows. Bathroom has a real hair dryer that is wonderful compared to those that come attached to the wall. More than enough towels, wash cloths, and hand towels. The television is very modern and HD along with cable. A good place to stay.

The conference room was fine. The projector screen was a little small for the room size. Our break snacks were barely enough to serve the group and the hot water for tea ran out. Lunch was acceptable, nothing special. Nothing particularly bad, nothing particularly good.

Great location and excellent rooms. Staff was very professional and helpful. I needed additional items and was given assistance immediatly and will definatly stay here again. Next to shopping and great dinning. The pool was great fun for my kids and beautiful.

We just had a huge family celebration and used the Holiday Inn Executive Center as our hotel. The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating and the facility is amazing. The rooms were large and immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. Much of the hotel is newly remodeled and there were plenty of places our large party could all be together to visit or eat or even gather poolside. We also had a number of really great meals at the hotel restaurant (SportZone). Since I organized our family gathering, I was given a lot of kudos for picking such a great hotel. Whether traveling by 1 or 2 or 20 or more, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Executive Center!!!
