Check in was quick and easy. The location is beautiful with excellent views of the Mountains and the Colorado River. Nice pool and hot tub, good breakfast.

The holiday inn is conveniently located close to the highway. The rooms are a little on the worn side for a holiday inn, with some parts of the rooms newer. It was fairly quiet and easy to find parking. There isn't much around. Expect to drive about 15 minutes in either direction if you want food or store choices. The staff were accommodating and nice. Overall, thank you for a good stay.

Nice clean room,very comfortable bed.i love the mini fridge. The staff is always wonderful when I stay. the hot tub is a great way to relax. And the breakfast I swear the cinnamon rolls are heavenly. I look forward to future visits.

Holiday Inn Silt-Rifle is your typical Holiday Inn Hotel. However, the location was prime. It's right off of 70 and a short drive to countless fun outdoor activities! Also, the staff was amazing! Everyone was extremely kind and was the main reason for my 5 star review! We will definitely be back for another weekend trip!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Silt for two nights. The staff was very helpful. The location was great with a ton of close hiking spots.

Great location very close to Glenwood Hot Springs pool that's why we stayed here for the deal and proximity to the pool. Beautiful river that runs along the back side of the hotel. The room and general environment were very clean and tidy housekeeping in front desk service we're very kind and attentive to our needs. The beds were a little firm for my liking but I slept decent. Breakfast in the mornings was filling and a good way to start the day the refrigerator and microwave in the room made lunch a breeze. Will likely be a return customer for future Glenwood Hot Springs pool trips.

It is located right off of I-70 in Silt Colorado. It is about 17 miles from Glenwood Springs. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. They had a nice breakfast in the morning one of the better ones for a restaurant. The room and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. It is located along the Colorado River so nice scenery and quiet spot.

The BEST hotel in this area. Property feels brand new, clean, safe, staff is the best, and there's a great free breakfast and fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, and free convenient parking. This is the only place I stay when I'm in the area. And, almost forgot to mention, their rates are incredibly low!!

It was a great time. Hotel room was clean and they pre-cooled the hotel room before we got there. The view was very nice, it was overlooking the river. The bathroom was also clean and very nice. There aren't many places around food wise, but we were fine with that. The local pizza place was pretty delicious. If I ever stopped through Silt again, I'd book a room here in a heart beat.

I stayed the evening of 10/25/17. We ended up with a room on the 3rd floor with a balcony that overlooked the Colorado River. The view was spectacular. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast in the morning was typical (good) Holiday Inn Express quality. The hotel was very good value for the price. I honestly would recommend staying just for the view of the river. Easy 5 stars!

Would normally have stayed in Glenwood Springs while in this part of the state, but opted for Silt due to the ongoing Grand Avenue Bridge construction project in Glenwood creating hassles.

Room and hotel general furnishings were very clean and modern. Check in staff were friendly and provided a 10% off coupon for entrees at the Miner’s Claim restaurant (which appears to be the only restaurant of note in town and was terrific; see my separate review on it, if interested).

I would definitely recommend the rooms on the river side as I imagine the ones at the back don’t have much of a view (highway blocking some hills). And, after all – it’s the mighty Colorado River! The hotel backs right to it, which was the other reason I stayed here. It appears some rooms have private balconies. Those must be nice to stay in, but the balconies did block the wider up/down river view a bit for the other rooms, causing the non-balcony rooms to be essentially recessed by comparison. There is a riverside sidewalk which runs the length of the property but, sadly, there are no connecting, recreational riverside trails beyond it. On an island in the river immediately south of the property (over the bridge) is a dog park, which is no distance away. However, the bridge is not designed to accommodate pedestrian traffic and I would use caution if attempting to walk to the dog park. Similarly, the town of Silt is not far at all from the hotel, but you’d be walking on the shoulder of the road and the bridge over I-70 is absolutely not for pedestrians. Both town and the dog park are a quick, safe drive away. The hotel is also no distance from the highway exit, making it well located for weary drivers.

There was a pretty basic and dated pool, but it had an oversized hot tub attached, which was enjoyable. I noticed there was a handicap-accessible chair lift machine in the pool room which appeared able to lift a person into either the pool or hot tub (would suggest calling ahead to inquire whether operational). It was a little confusing trying to figure out how to active the jets in the hot tub. Look around and you’ll see a big, red, tempting button on the wall. Sadly, it’s not that, but the controls are small buttons on the wall right next to that.

The breakfast room was exceptionally large and nice, and situated on the river side of the building. Good assortment of standard hotel breakfast items, and also had a pancake maker machine, which I have not seen elsewhere before. They also had some seasonal attention-to-detail items such as pumpkin spice latte coffee creamer.

Everything felt clean and new. Sits right beside the Colorado river. Had a great view of the river and walking path from our room window and breakfast area patio. Breakfast was good with precooked scrambled eggs bacon and pancakes with yummy cinnamon rolls + all the other usuals. Rating thus a five overall even tho the beds were very firm.

Nice Holiday Express located right off the 70 Freeway. This location has Suites as well as regular rooms. There is a really nice river running behind it so rooms facing a river are a plus. Service was excellent here especially the night time staff

Amazing location n very helpful n friendly reception staff. Clean rooms too. But breakfast was not up to mark. They don't have much inventory to cater even the half loaded hotel. Milk cinnamon rolls pan cakes never got refilled as staff says they don't left with any...n it happened on both days of our stay even 1hr before closing time of breakfast. N unleashed dogs in the patio area are dangerous n annoying.

We were very happy with this hotel. It was clean, we stayed in a suite and all the bedding needed for the sofa bed was in the closet so we didn't have to hunt for it, the pool, hot tub and workout room were clean, the breakfast room was quite large, the food was quite decent, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again on our road trips!

My family and I arrived about 2.5 hours early for check-in and I am very pleased to say the lady at the counter did not say you're to early she actually made the effort and found us a room that was ready for us and it was an upgrade with a mini kitchen, sofa and had a balcony over looking the river. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I will never stay any where else when traveling to glendwood spring Colorado. Everyone at the hotel has been overly nice and so accommodating it is such an amazing place to stay.

Great stay. Had a clean room, guest laundry, nice (but cold) pool, and great little mini gym. Kind of in the middle of nowhere but the price is right and Rifle is less than 10 minutes up the road.

This is the nicest Holiday Inn I have stayed at. The view from the rooms in the back overlooks the Colorado River and is absolutely stunning during sunset hours. Although the town is quite small, the Holiday Inn is a great location to stop at when passing through. The staff is extremely warm and accommodating, and it is evident that the hotel is well cared for. The rooms are relatively large in comparison to average sized rooms, and the one I stayed in had three tables and a couch in addition to the usual bathroom, two queen sized beds, and a microwave and fridge.

It's very easy to locate right off I-70. They have the nice smell of Belgian waffles in the morning from the complementary breakfast. The rooms were clean and the services was good.

The great thing about 99% of HI Express' is that you know what to expect. This is no different. Clean rooms and good breakfasts...all right on the river. No complaints to mention at all. This one also was using Kuerigs in the rooms, which I appreciate for getting out the door quickly.

The Holiday Inn in silt is BY FAR my favorite holiday inn. The rooms are nice, and comfortable, with balconies that overlook the river on the back side. I love in the morning, when you can watch the ducks and cows...so peaceful! Front desk staff is exceptionally helpful and nice. Definitely will come back again!

Its a very nice hotel. Loved the jacuzzi tub in the room. Little pricey but good all the same.

It was ok, I had to plug in the night stand because it wasn't working. Light bulbs were burnt out, one of the shelves in the bathroom shower was not installed at a slant so I couldn't put any soaps on it. The room was dirty as well. It had a good air cinditioner/heater worked well and the staff was very kind, they let us check out an hour late at no charge.

Low-key amazing common primarily for being right on the Colorado River. Standard Holiday Inn rooms nothing special, but damn right on the river.

My go-to spot when visiting my family now, you put together the price and location and it can't be beat. Friendly service Hammer refrigerator in the room and balconies overlooking the river. Decent pool and exercise room by Hotel standards.

My stay here was pleasant. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and big enough for my husband, kids, and myself. The only 2 pizza places that delivered were closed which kind of sucked since we were exhausted from driving all day. The breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

Asked for a quiet room, in a corner if possible. We were in a nice room but had noisy neighbors. Above and both sides. Pool and hot tub were crowded and couldn't use either.

Very clean, very modern. Roomy bathrooms. The wi-fi could use some more juice, but I'm still giving 5-stars. Oh, and the Colorado river (get a river side room) was right outside my window!

This holiday express had clean rooms wish is always nice. The room was big and we were upgraded which was nice. Service was nice and breakfast was decent. Only complaint was the wifi did not connect, which was a big deal for me, and I don't know expect that to ever be an issue in a hotel such as this where it's mostly business travelers moving through.

Hotel is a little ways from Glenwood springs but the rates were extremely better for the accommodations. They are a very pet friendly hotel and were extremely accommodating despite us having a very large breed Shepard in tow for a weekend escape. The rooms were very cleaning presentable and we were able to check in early even. House keeping let us know when they would come by because we were staying multiple nights and gave us time to get the dog secured and let them clean up. Breakfast spread was very well stocked and despite many reviews stating the pancake machine was broken, it in fact was operational and tasted great.
Thank you holiday in for making a weekend get away affordable and very pleasant, i will defiantly recombined this place to friends and most likely return in the future
