Absolutely terrible. Do not stay here. We had terrible customer service at the front desk. We ordered pizza to be delivered to the pool and we asked the lady at the front desk if we could do that and she said “it depends on what pizza you have” I guess joking and then when it got there we had to pick it up from the front and the front desk lady was like “wow I really wish I could have some pizza, I might order some pizza” and indirectly trying to get us to give her some of our pizza!!! This was crazy! THEN that night, we had accumulated a lot of trash in the room and bagged it. We called the front desk to have someone pick up the trash.... THEY HAD US WALK TO THE DUMPSTER AT THE BACK OF THE HOTEL to throw it away after 10pm!!!! This is absolutely ridiculous and the Worst customer service I have ever had in my life. I work for the Walt Disney company and never would I ever treat my guests like this. Period. Even if I was the only person there (which I was also told). The room itself was okay... there was a very strong odor that got worse and worse through the stay and we were so glad to get out of there. Will not be staying there again. Also, for breakfast... right at 10:00 they shut the lights off of the buffet even if you are in there just grabbing something! I understand y’all have to close but that is unnecessary... put a sign out saying you are now closed. It made us very uncomfortable that they do this. And when it is the last hour of the buffet they do not keep it stocked... and they attendant was complaining that she had to put out more hot food and said “this is it, I am not putting any more food out.” This is my third visit there, the other two times were great. But I guess things have changed and customer service has gone way down.

Update: I really appreciate that management reached out to me on this review. Although nothing was fixed but it’s okay it’s done it happened I just hope other guests have a better experience! I decided to add two additional stars to the review because they reached out.

Would like tp give a shout out to Melissa who graciously served us all this p.m. during the guest social. 7/16/18 with a friendly smile and great efficiency! Everything was refilled as soon as it began to get half empty. She remembered guests names from those that had been here awhile. She talked to the children amd made them feel welcome. THANK YOU MS. The hotel was nice, price was comparable. Staff didn't go above and beyond like the other Homewoods we had stayed at, but that will be okay.

We asked the front desk for a fan... Waited an hour... Called back... Oh she couldn't find one (she should have let us know!)

I left a shirt behind and have called THREE different staff members and each are going to "call me back"... Haven't gotten any call backs.

Love this place. Super clean, great price. Everyone is so nice. Front desk is very attentive. Just acquired by Hilton so there expecting major changes for the better.

They are very accommodating!! I transferred from a hotel that was quite terrible really and cslled Homewood at the last minute, they had everything ready and waiting for us when we got here! Fantastic service!! Breakfast and dinner are complimentary and very good! Beds super comfy ,rooms are spacious and I couldnt be happier. EDIT: 8 months ago and this hotel has gone down. The rooms have stains on the celings, ceiling fans aren't working in some rooms. Linens were dirty. I booked in advance this time, but when I got here was told I couldn't upgrade because I used my Hilton Honors Rewards....? Isn't that what they are for? For me to use since I spend my money with you guys? Hot tub smells like mold. Not the best experience this time...

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was extremely clean and affordable and the breakfast was hot and fresh. Will stay here again should my travels allow.

The staff was warm and friendly. The bathroom had a weird sound coming from either the vent or through the wall. The air conditioner was very very loud.

I loved this property! I'd never stayed at a Homewood Suites before and loved it so much! The home-made feel was perfect. This property had a very nice pool area and hot tub as well. We we're only uere for one night but could have easily stayed here longer if time would have allowed.

Great place to stay. Great rooms and awesome staff. The meals served there on Mondays through Thursdays are great and give you the chance to stay in and not have to get out to find something to eat. If you do happen to want to get out and get something then they are in a great location for a short drive to some great restaurants. Will absolutely be staying here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone else looking for a great place to stay. Did i mention that it is also quiet even considering how close to the highway it is? It is very quiet and the beds are super comfortable.

Responsive food and reception staff, reasonable prices. Room only cleaned twice in five days due to rigid scheduling policy.

Feels like a home away from home as soon as you walk in. Courteous and welcoming staff. Free breakfast AND dinner with drinks provided most evenings for free as well, you can't beat that! Huge pool and hot tub area for families or anyone looking to relax. The rooms are clean, and very large. Ours had a living room, full kitchen, and spacious bedroom.

Location is very central to Covington, and Mandeville it's a bit far out from New Orleans, but it's only like 40 or 50 minutes from bourbon street. The hotel itself is very nice. We stayed in a suite with a king and two queens connected by living space. Spacious, clean rooms. Nice pool. Breakfast in the morning is standard hotel buffet fare, not bad and it fills the void. Only problem I had was how far our room was from the front of the hotel, but that's just because I'm lazy. Would definitely recommend

It was a nice property. Very large and wide spread. Front desk staff was very nice. Our room had scars from what appeared to be a water leak from the selling that stained the couch and destroyed the laminate floor in the kitchen causing it to buckle upward. There was an area of mold on the bedroom wall. If I was paying to stay here, i would have demanded another room. We only slept there for the night and out we were by 8am. Breakfast was pretty good. Wish they had regular eggs. They had mini omelette with bell peppers, I'm allergic. The pool area was nice outside. Loved the 1ft deep kid splash pool. I would stay again, but not in that room.

Very CLEAN, QUIET, and BEAUTIFUL hotel. King size bed felt fluffy, and fabulous. First time my Fitbit saying "Sweet, you met your goal" in sleep mode slept like a baby. Breakfast was very tasteful and filling!!! Huge space areas around all place at the hotel. Facilities and staff was friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was AWESOME they have two towel bins setup after you get out of the pool. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE! My kids and I had a SPLENDID MINI VACATION NOT TO FAR FROM HOME. VERY NICE AND CONVENIENT TO FIND OFF THE INTERSTATE. "Thanks for my CODP for allowing us to have a peaceful vacation before going back to school and work. It means a lot to us. Great hotel. Very big facility. Pool was awesome and the kids loved it. Zero entry kiddy pool, hot tub and large swimming pool. Laundry facilities, meeting rooms and public spaces were great. On site meals were marginal prepackaged food products, and a fault of coorporate Hilton, not the local facility. Breakfast was high carb, with little real fruit, again thanks hilton. Managers reception was nice. Hotel seemed a little understaffed. Called four times to the front desk with no answer. Room was nice with full size Overall good stay. Staff was super friendly.

Perfect location near interstate and downtown Covington. New, clean and attractive hotel with kind and helpful hotel personnel. Very enjoyable stay.

Always convenient and close by

The property is wonderful. It is at the end of a lane near the interstate, but the building is situated with the rooms behind the front entry and office away from the traffic. The pool is one of the best I've seen. It has a large toddler pool with water jetting up about a foot high in about five or six fountains. It also had a large pool for swimming or playing in about three feet deep to five feet. Both pools are of curved shape and attractive with plenty of nice chairs. It also has a hot-tub with jets. Everything is new looking. Loved it.

What a great hotel we were greeted by the nicest person in the world. Her name was susan. The room was clean the pool was beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic!!! I also spoke with the late night/early morning employee and he was equally as awesome!!! His name was Tim. If you're headed to New Orleans or staying on the northshore you must STAY HERE!!!!
