Nice facilities - newly renovated. Service and systems truly dragged down my rating. Key details in room cleanliness were missed (in our room at least). Staff were not consistently pleasant, and did not show an eagerness to help through several issues that we and other guests experienced.

I had an extraordinary room at a reasonable price for the two day stay. Staff was super friendly and my room was spotless upon arrival. My boyfriend and i left our room for maybe 15-30mins to come back to find a very expensive personal item had been taken from the nightstand of our room. We went to the main desk to voice our concerns over our missing item. Although she was helpful, i was displeased over the fact she only questioned the staff and glanced over the tapes... yes, i should not of left such an item unattended but i figured it was safe in the locked room i was renting and that if it was to turn up missing staff working my floor at least searched....its not like it could of gotten up and walked out on its own...

At the beginning on my most recent stay, we were delayed from getting into our room. Check-in is at 3pm but we had to wait until almost 6pm. The hotel room and accommodations are great for the price. Just need more staff or better prioritization.

Breakfast is great. Light dinner every evening. Salad is sub par. Clean. Hot tub has been broken for three weeks. Back door near parking lot doesn't work. Key Fab broken. Comfy beds. Staff is pleasant. Will be here until Christmas.

We love this hotel. It is our home away from home. The pool and gym room are nice amenities. We really wish the hot tub had been working. The past two visits it's been out of order.

Beautiful hotel. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was varied enough. The only thing that was shouldn't disappointing was the pool. It was smaller than I expected, though it was warm. And the hot tub wasn't working. The kids enjoyed the pool regardless. Would definitely stay again.

I didn't actually stayed here, my mother-in-law did, but it was a very unsatisfactory stay from what I can tell. When they got there the power has been shut off and people were stuck in the elevator, they couldn't get in and check in because the internet was also down and the firemen were tying up the elevators. When they finally did get checked in a few hours later the lights in the room didn't work even though power was on. They were compensated by given two different rooms that were down the hall from each other which of the made the plans of staying in the hotel and having a sweet basically pointless. And of course because they prepaid they weren't able to be given any kind of a discount or refund. The actual accoutrements of the rooms were fine, a little more modern than my tastes but certainly looks nice. It may have just been a very off day, but I was definitely not very impressed with my first encounter.

Beautiful hotel, looks brand new. Very clean, staff was friendly and the gym was great. How often can you say that? Never! Happy with my stay, when back in area will stay here. Off the beaten path, but still close to shopping and dinning. We got a winner

This hotel was a 1/2 way point for our drive but we are really glad we stayed here. The staff was incredible and nice. The hotel was very nice with a great gym, pool, hot tub & breakfast. Highly recommend!

Comfortable rooms, love having a ceiling fan. Very minimal noise. Happy hour and breakfast have alot of selection.

A very spacious, clean hotel with professional, discrete staff. I stayed here twice in a three day span and, both times, check-in was a breeze and the front desk staff were friendly. I will definitely be staying here again.

We had zero probelns from check in to check out. The room was clean and stocked. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was clean for the kids to play in and breakfast was good and plentiful.

Very nice stay! The hotel rooms are beautifully appointed and the property is immaculately maintained. The staff was very curtious. The hotel offers dinner with your stay Monday through Thursday. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place! Large rooms, small kitchenette. Monday-Thursday they have a complimentary dinner and wine or beer. Breakfast is good. Pool is closed right now for repairs, but it is a saltwater pool.

Best room for the price that you will ever get. Quiet ceiling fans above the bed. Many people are nodding to that because it is awesome. WiFi is okay you just have to rejoin once or twice a day.

Been here for almost 2 months for work. The hot tub & pool heater have been broke since the first week. The grill is in horrible shape, burners are rusted and broke. Housekeeping needs to be re-trained, shouldn't have to ask them to vacuum, dust etc. Breakfast is rarely warm. I don't usually complain about things, but expected more from a hilton property. I chose this place for the amenities and it's been a let down.

Real nice, clean, very modern hotel. Rooms are comfy and laid out to make best use of the space.
Location is kinda off the main rd, plus for low crime, minus for having to drive to the malls or restaurants. One nice thing, is there is a pizza restaurant 50 ft behind the hotel.

I say this about every Hilton brand hotel, body gel soap and firmer pillows.

Last thing I will say is what kept the 5th star away, if you want a good night's sleep, Bring ear plugs (the walls and floors are very thin)

I haven't given a 5 star rating for a hotel until this one. I was very impressed with it from the moment we arrived. The night clerk was very pleasant and helpful. Our suite was very nice with a full size refrigerator. Having a separate living room was very convenient. Everything was very clean. I particularly enjoyed the fitness center. It was reminiscent of a resort gym as it had towels and water available. It has dumbbells up to 50 lbs so that is adequate for most people. The cable machine worked very well and it had about 3 treadmills and 2 ellipticals. After a quick workout we went for the complimentary breakfast at 830 am. Everything was well stocked with the OJ being refilled after a short wait. The attendant did an excellent job. For the money this hotel can't be beat!

I stayed here a few weeks ago and this place is Amazing . Everything is new and up to date, not to mention the staff was amazing and friendly. I can’t wait to go back and visit. Thanks for the great stay! Amazing property!

Very rarely do I take the time to right a review on the hotels that I stay at. However, this Homewood Suites and the management were at such I level that I had to right a review. The Homewood Suites is relatively new and very clean and modern. In addition, management is extreme courteous and goes above and beyond to make sure guest enjoy their stay. In particular, Matt Nickerson the assistant general manager ensured that my stay and my four co-workers stay was extremely present.

Nice, newer hotel in Dubois. Managers reception was slightly lacking but the facility itself made up for it. Next to a Walmart if needed.

The room was comfortable and well equipped. There was enough room for an air mattress for the kids. The pool was nice, but they should consider finding a way to cut down on the echoes from the noise. It's terribly loud to the point of being unbearable.

The staff was very pleasant. My room was not at all clean, and was missing a television remote. Breakfast was good.

We got a single king with a mini full kitchen for $107 a night.For the price this is the nicest place I have stayed it. I almost forgot to mention the complimentary dinner and breakfast! The food is definitely a step above any continental food I've ever had.

Brand new motel. Fantastic facilities including heated pool which the kids loved. Also surprised about the social evenings they have Mon-Thur each week for a free feed and drink.

The rooms were clean, updated as far as furniture goes, and seemed to be well kept. The bathroom was really dark and the view was of the concrete roof of the breakfast room. Breakfast was pretty good. My favorite part was the flavored creamer though.

We made a pit stop while driving to Chicago. This hotel is conveniently located off the highway and other restaurants. The interior of room seems like couple of years old. I wish they had more breakfast options for vegans.

If you find yourself in DuBois for whatever the reason you'll find this place as nice as any.

Great value for the price. Very quiet!!! Breakfast fairly good as those things go. Convenient location. AND, Hilton finally saw the light and their booking link shows up on google maps with prices that compete with the other online bookers.

My only gripe was the shower door was all messed up, but I'm sure they will fix that.

I stayed here the night before groundhogs day. I arrived at 6:00pm to a smiling face who quickly checked me in and advised a complimentary snacks/dinner/drinks were available from 6-8. They had quesadillas and chips and salsa as well as a small salad bar. All was great as I was not expecting this. I enjoyed the freebies and made my way to my room which was amazing. I would literally be fine with the bathroom/kitchen features being in my own home. The hotel is beautiful and the employees are awesome. Whoever does the hiring deserves a raise because good employees are hard to find. I had a nice conversation with Angela in the lounge who provided information on what to expect on groundhogs day. Prior to me asking, her and multiple others asked if I needed anything as if it was an actual restaurant and they were my server. It was literally better service than many restaurants. The young black woman with short hair at the main desk on feb 1st assisted me multiple times with a beautiful smile and awesome character. I told her I was from New Jersey and felt like I was in the Midwest because of her unbelievable attitude and impeccable positive attitude.
I can't say enough about the staff at this hotel. Hilton and home wood suites should recognize and be proud of every employee at this location. I would gladly provide more if upper management requested. Room 302 02/01

This newer hotel is located right behind a local Walmart. I do wish there was a sign on the main road, this would make it easier to find. The location is perfect though: has a very rural feel even though it is very much in the city. The room was quite clean and smelled nice. The free hot breakfast was better than I've had at any hotel. The "egg cups" were especially unique and tasty. Dinner was also great with FREE beer and wine! Staff is all very friendly. Brooke from the kitchen was super helpful. Hotel was very busy but she kept up wonderfully. I would recommend this place to friends and this will be our regular stay whenever we are on the area.

Needed a quick rest along a business road trip. A little set back from highway, checked in very late but we're received without issue. Room was clean and very modern. Nice art. Neat hotel decor, good free breakfast. Jayden at the front desk was exceptionally charming and helpful. A good place for a nice rest, or business travel but the plush rooms could be intimate as well.

Beautiful facility, great staff, everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely make this our place to stay.
