This is good hotel. Although the rooms are a little small. However their services are good. You will find various attraction near by and many Indian restaurant.

We had a great time at this hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were very modern and clean with a great shower in the bathroom. Lots of facilities including games, TV with all channels and movies included in the price. Only a short walk away from the Bullring shopping centre with lots of restaurants and bars. Would definitely return and can’t fault the hotel in anyway

Not bad at all. Spacious comfortable rooms, albeit a bit on the contemporary side for my tastes. Brilliant bathroom, comfortable beds and the place was spotless. Breakfasts are on the expensive side for a mid range hotel, however it's worth every penny - very well done, even if you're a late riser. Another benefit to the hotel is the noon checkout time. Local parking for about 6£ per 24 hours at the NCP over the road. Hotel just a short walk from the centre.

We only stayed one night but apart from the shower being a bit clogged, everything was in order. Their lounge is really, really cool, and the receptionists double as bartenders, so you check in at the bar. That's a first for me, but it was part of giving the whole place a super chill vibe. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Incredible breakfast buffet - by far a highlight. Fun yet sophisticated interiors throughout the hotel with a lovely lobby with games tables. Loved it.

Super funky venue, lovely touches. As a man with young kids it was nice to see the baby changing facility in the mens, a rare find and nice touch! Staff all seem friendly. Did not stay here so cant rate the bedrooms but the front area, restaurant and conference rooms were all very nice.

Great hotel, very friendly staff. The restaurant serves very high quality food, at not unreasonable prices. The room I had was spacious and very good value, the bed was insanely comfortable. Aircon is a little noisy if there is any negative, but I am scraping the bottom of the barrel for bad things about this superb hotel. Oh and very convenient for public transport links, outside bars and restaurants, or shopping. Highly recommend.

It's a lovely looking hotel, great rooms and design it's perhaps presented itself flashy. The meal was average and I'm not sure why reception is also a bar but it is which was confusing when I entered

Nice hotel near the center of town. Check in desk is also the bar and there are a few pool tables to keep you occupied in the evenings. Good selection of food for breakfast, had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Clean and tidy. Nice staff. Wine choice is chilling. Area is less than desirable. Parking is good but you do have to pay for it.

Nice enough accommodation - comfy bed, decent TV (with a few free films and music), a walk in shower and above average toiletries. The restaurant serves decent food and the breakfast is nice with a good selection. I would stay again if I needed to.

The hotel is located is a great position just round the corner from the mailbox area. Couldn't get in to the carpark as we arrived around 8pm. There was however a car park around the corner for £6 per 24hrs. The breakfast was really good with your normal range of breakfast items, but the quality of those items was a lot better than other hotels. Overall a good stay and would return when in Birmingham.

We had to be moved rooms as out air-conditioning wasn't working, we were told we would have two sides Glen beds initially and we had a double. Then where we were moved rooms we were told this was an upgrade but actually it was so strange definitely a downgrade. They had replaced the sink with a grim metal one that looked like something from a public bathroom and there was only one really cheap pillow on the bed. The staff were really friendly and helpful however. Just a shame the place wasn't quite what we expected. The downstairs decor was good though in the bar area, which doubles as reception, which was initially confusing as you came in.

Really nice hotel, large rooms, nice bathroom, TV with newish movies was a plus. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of food. Location is 5-10mins from new street station, a little out of the way of the centre of town but close enough.

Very Decent cool design hotel. Service was decent, pizza we ordered from room service was surprising good. Good decent location to everything and away from bustle and hustle. Nice Multistory safe parking nearby. Room was nice with good channels for television, only downside is the toilet when showering due to poor engineering, the water flows out onto the carpet, so your room carpet right outside the toilet gets wet after shower every time.

Other than that, nice bar with pool table which doubles as reception, chill crowd and nice restaurant area with free xbox and playstation to play.

Very cool hotel in nice part of the city. 5 min walk from hotel is a Riverwalk and loads of restaurants and pubs. In the hotel, there is couple pool tables, play station 4 and gym included in room price. Vibe in the hotel is cool and relaxed. Only downside is that Internet is HORRIBLY SLOW (300kb :( ). Rooms are quite clean and bed is very comfortable.

Its been a while since I was last stayed there but I pass it almost every day. It had very nice modern rooms but seems to b a place for groups of party going blokes to spend a weekend. There never seems to b many women in the bar area. It has a bar that feels like some kind of night club but never actually does anything of interest. Maybe it's due to the gentleman's club over the road xxx

Brilliant. We were stranded in the snow, and although they had no rooms free took our details down in case of a cancellation. Received a message shortly after offering us a room. They even lent me their phone charger. Also, nice hotel.

I booked this hotel for a quick weekend away as opposed to the rather horrible looking premier inns in Brum. I'm glad I did. The hotel is perfectly located in my opinion that it is just a 5 minute walk to the bullring but not too close that you'd be woken up early by all the shoppers. Decor inside is very rustic but very modern at the same time. New and comfy sofas are dotted all over the place and the staff are great. Definitely recommend pentahotel.

Loved the trendiness of this hotel. Food was all home cooked and delicious. Relaxed bar and upper seating area with candles for lighting. Room was fine; comfy bed; super shower; clean. Will certainly stay here again.

Really nice place to stay. Close to the city centre and nice modern clean rooms. The bar is nice and chilled out in the evening and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Modern hotel ten minutes walk from New St train station. Free movies, modern decor, funky bar, all at a reasonable price. Check-in can be slow as it is at the side of the bar.

Nice place with leisure reception like a bar and pool billard. Very friendly young people behind the bar and reception. Room is big enough and clean.

Great find. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean with all the mod cons (Plus a few extra) 24 hour bar with free pool and a PS4 (if you're into that) can't comment on the good as we didn't eat there. The bar was perhaps a little pricey (£5 a pint) but definitely worth it. 10/10 Would stay again.

This is a seriously cool hotel. You check in at the bar, there are pool tables and pin ball machines - plus I saw an iMac and a PS4 for guests to use. A really great ambiance, awesome staff (shout out to Chloe) and top notch decor. The room was good - had a kettle and a very comfy bed. I'd definitely recommend and really hope to stay again.

Just a 10 minute walk from New Street station, this hotel is also convenient for city centre amenities. Foyer looks like a pub, with reception at far end of the bar. Room was spacious, with curious/distinctive furnishings. Tea/coffee making facilities, plus G&T supplies (not free?). TV has limited channels rather than full Freeview selection. Bed was firm, and some outside noise audible (Friday night), but sleep aided by thick full-width curtain. Buffet breakfast served in restaurant was very good.

Our stay was a mixed affair. The positives are it's cool interior, in particular the bar. We felt so relaxed there with l-shaped sofas, candles, pool table and awesome Bose sound system playing laid back lounge tunes. The negative aspect of our overnight stay was the noise and complete disturbance throughout the night. If it wasn't for the sports cars and quad bikes racing up and down the main road it was the drunk guests arriving back, slamming doors, talking on the corridor outside our room. It's a perfect hotel if you're having it large with your mates, probably not so if you want a quiet night.

Everything was perfect about the hotel, the employees were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was good and only about a 5 minute walk from the bull ring and train station. The services available were good having a free pool table and pinball machine in the lounge, the room service was also good having food available 24/7. The only negative I had was that there was air conditioning in the room which we could not turn off and was rather loud when we were trying to sleep.

Rooms are generally comfy, with any issues rectified promptly. Good selection of in room entertainment. Near to the best pub in Birmingham City Centre - the Craven Arms. Trendy decour. Breakfast is usually good.

A really lovely friendly cool place. The rooms were great, the bar has a really nice selection of different beers and cool decorations. The upstairs part of the bar has free pool and a PS4 and this is where breakfast is; if you only stayed for the epic breakfast, your day is not wasted. Exceptional buffet with lovely fresh baked bread, fresh pancakes, delicious cooked and cured meats and a sneaky mimosa to name but a few things. Loved it.

Not too pretty on the outside but beautiful and clean on the inside. Prime location as just a few mins walk into the centre. All staff were very helpful . Room good size, tea/coffee etc. Free movies available and free pool table. Fantastic breakfast ..help yourself to a full English or pastries. I would highly recommend and I will be booking again very soon.

Central location, a little cheaper room rate than the other corporate hotels. Food is good although a bit pricey (23 for steak, 18 for a burger). Comfortable clean rooms with aircon.

Best hotel for a long time. Just come back from here after 2 work conferences in the last few weeks. We stayed here the first time and said we have to go back again. Really relaxed, nice lighting, great rooms, helpful staff. The hotel has a great feel about it. Great price too. Definitely check it out. Its certainly not a boring mainstream hotel. 5 mins from the train station and about 5-10 walk from Broad Street. A few mins from cafes, and the up market "Mail Box" shopping centre is only 3 mins away.

Nice, paid extra for city view but seems to be a view of a car wash outside. Nice and clean throughout though and lovely ambience.

Great quirky hotel in a brilliant location. Free films are a real bonus staff are excellent. Could do with more options for diners with allergies.

Really good value hotel. We were staying for one night whilst visiting the O2 Academy, this was perfect as it was only a 5 minute walk around the corner. Cool relaxed feel and professional staff. Secure parking available at a cost of £16 per 24 hrs.

Great stay. Comfy, very relaxed, and great food. Usually stay in PI when visiting (twice a month with work) will absolutely switching to this place from now on.

Nice staff, great breakfast and great lobby with free billiards. We stayed 5 nights and had a great time. Would have given a 5 star review if it weren't for a couple of maintenance issues in the room that they had to have known about that weren't fixed before giving us the room.

Good breakfast and lounge. Room was good too. Couldn't watch the end of the movie for some reason, it would kick us back to the main menu at a certain point. Also, the smell throughout the hotel is like an Abercrombie and Fitch store.

The hotel is easily found and has great access , I've visited the hotel a few times now and the rooms are always to a high standard. The staff are very professional but at the same time welcoming and warming. The whole feel and theme brings a feel to the hotel thats homely and calming.

We had a fairly enjoyable experience here, and fell in love with the decor of the place. It definitely seemed to be a great place to kick off a great night out on the town in Birmingham, what with its 24 hour bar and location. However, with half-cut northern nurses spilling their drink on my shoes whilst chatting up someone they met in a bar within the first 5 minutes, first impressions were a little dampened. Add to this the party on the first floor which, while stopping at midnight, could be heard up to the 5th floor, I was slowly going off the place. Still, a sumptuous breakfast in the morning after a peaceful nights sleep made it up for me.

Great Hotel, quite quirky with the pool table and bar as reception... Staff very friendly and accommodating and great knowledge of the local area... Room very clean and sufficient although they had coffee only in the room and no tea... Room card key failed a few times but they promptly gave new one on request or came up very quickly to give new one... TV in room had good movie and music section... Hotel location very convenient... Generally very clean and no issues...

Absolutely smashing hotel! Great food, comfy, clean rooms and staff with a great attitude.

The extras like free movies, pinball machine, pool tables and ps4 are wonderful additions to be enjoyed in a comfortable, beautifully decorated lounge area.

The only fault was no bottled water in the room as I was told there would be, but this was cheerily rectified upon asking.

All things considered, I would gladly sell my home to live here.

Had a work function here. Function room upstairs and meeting room are all nice facilities and modern looking. Bar downstairs is nice and doubles as the reception desk which feels a little odd but works. Rooms are good and clean. Recommended as fairly close to the center to. Only 5 mins walk.

Fun stylish and vibrant hotel. The bar area has a pool table and it seem like a great place to chill and grab a drink. The rooms are spacious and the service on reception is good. It's about 5 minutes walk from the mailbox where there are lots of great restaurants.
