Classical Hotel with excellent restaurant! The lunces I had there were amazing!

Had a good stay. Room was alright, staff were helpful. Main complaint is that it is way, way too smoky. All throughout the hotel, including the room.

Excellent location for getting around Berlin. Staff all professional and friendly. Room overlooking courtyard was quiet, smart and very comfortable. Mini bar, coffee machine and a complimentary bottle of minaral water everyday. Room and bathroom cleaned to a high standard. The hotel has all the modern facilities you would expect but in a building with some character and style. Traditional rather than modern but this makes it feel smart and adds a feeling of style. Definitely would recommend a stay here. Close to an underground station, 5 mins walk or less. Plenty of resturants of various styles within 10 min walk. Area feels safe at all times.

Exzellente Lage und sehr viel klassische Eleganz. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und gut ausgestattet, der Preis in Ordnung.
Leider riecht es aber auch in den oberen Etagen teilweise nach Zigaretten- oder Zigarrenrauch. Die Ausstattung müsste teilweise renoviert oder repariert werden. Fenster klemmen, Fugen im Bad sind leer und am Innenhof-Fenster im Bad hat sich außen irgendwas modriges angesiedelt.
Insgesamt sind wir bis auf die beschriebenen Punkte aber zufrieden, insbesondere das sehr nette Personal machte einen sehr professionellen Eindruck.

It was horribly hot, no ac and they gave me a broken fan that sounded like a jack hammer... good breakfast though.

Schönes klassisches Hotel mit guten Tagungsmöglichkeiten. Wir haben uns zwei verschiedene Eventlocations im Savoy für eine Firmenveranstaltung angeschaut. Aber auch das Business Lunch ist sehr zu empfehlen. 3-Gänge-Menü mit einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel during a business trip. The services were acceptable and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of meals.

Great receptionist when we arrived, hotel has an older style but embraces it with things like a cigar bar. The cigar bar smells a bit in the night but it isn't as bad as some other reviews make out. Quite a few local places around for drinks with a cool jazz bar across the street or a bouncing club just down the road

You can smell history in this hotel. It reminds me life does not stop when we are gone.

Absolutely loved it. Really nice hotel. We only stayed two nights and had one breakfast, but that was delicious.

Very disappointed, and surprised. Came away for a special weekend. Booked suite to find it was just two rooms and nothing like any of the photos. Second room was just an adjoining room which looked setup as a single room, small bathroom single everything. At night the hall stunk of cheap cigarettes from the roof terrace. Bed was comfortable but only two small singles pushed together, again not representative of the photos. Asked reception and was told house keeping has left for the night and couldn't do anything (this was before 10pm and a double had been specifically asked for).

Room itself was rather tired and just a standard twin, had the beds not been pushed together. Had a small coffee maker, no tea, hot chocolate, kettle etc. Bar fridge was understocked and massively over priced even for a hotel. Room service was limited to 11pm and 6/7 items again over priced and then came with an additional fee.

Second day, came back to dirty cups, glasses and bin. Again told house keeping has left already. Reception did however quickly put everything right there.

Long story short, we would not be coming back for a very long time, if ever. Not what is expected at all from what could be an incredible hotel.

Nettes Hotel in Stil der 20er

It's a quiet hotel and the main train station is around the corner. This place has a great location, and a private gym is around the corner with only a 5 euro day pass to use the gym.

Food average but good. Excellent service. Nice yard with tables. Great place for summer lunch in the city

Decent hotel, not too expensive with no bells and whistles.

Loved staying here fab breakfast and elegant spaces. Our room was warm as no A/C but bearable with window to small balcony. I liked the cigar area, although I do not smoke, if I did I'd like to indulge in this room, tainted with the rich smell of good tobacco. Excellent staff and good service at reception. Enjoyed the view from our room.

There is very special bar. Which is heaven for smokers and especially for cigar smokers. There are cigars of very high class

Location is perfect, easy walk to the hop on hop off bus as well as the metro station. Nice chocolates provided and great espresso machine. Staff is good, however lobby cafe is a cigar bar so the smell is a bit unpleasant.

Nice hotel, nice staff and nice rooms. There is a bare connected to the hotel, and the breakfast is good.

We stayed in savoy for 10 days. Actually it was a group of us coming from different part of the world for my niece wedding. We were very pleased with the staff; they were friendly and helpful. I had a single room for a few days then switched to the suite after my family joined me. Loved their suite. Classic French decor with lots of light. Good size bathroom. They say Romina Schneider among many celebrities have stayed in this hotel. I can see why. Loved the french chandiers and red colors on the wall.
The only disappointment was their cigar room from old days which made the hotel smell. Also loved the breakfast buffet and the back courtyard.

Its a sweet little hotel. Best for people with low budget.

Location is great and convenient but the room seems a little dated. Both in decor and amenities like TV. Bathroom by contrast seems more modern.

Perfect location, polite and courteous staff, very clean and with a touch of charm here and there. Excellent breakfast buffet and nice bar with perfect cocktails - makes it all worth it.

Superb! extremely friendly and helpful staff As always a beatiful room,and guest areas,and the Bar and Restaurant were top-notch!..We have decided that the Savoy is THE Hotel we stay in when visiting Berlin..

I had a lovely time at the hotel, and would certainly stay there again. Location is excellent, staff were delightful and helpful at every turn, and the dining facilities were very nice. It might be that a bit more variety in the breakfast menu from day to day would be welcome (one of my colleagues commented on this), but this is a minor quibble.

The rooms were quaint, and full of character. The beds were comfortable (although I was a bit surprised at the local definition of a "single" bed – this is not criticism though, rather an observation on local expectations). Cleaning was prompt and efficient. I was a little puzzled by some of the fixtures and fittings in the room - the Corby press, for instance, was a little temperamental, and I did wonder whether the windows might benefit from an upgrade.

The cigar bar on the ground floor turned out to be a very convivial watering hole.

All in all, I would warmly recommend Hotel Savoy. Even though it isn't quite the best place I have stayed in, it was far and away the best in terms of value for money and general ambience. I'll certainly be back. Thank you!

Staff are very helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It is very close to where I needed to go. It is a 5 to 10 min walk to the zoo station in a very nice area.

The only negative fact was that our room was situated the side of the street so that it was quite noisy because of the train. But we spent a wonderful time in Berlin, and really appreciated the Savoy. Very clean, excellent localisation, very nice team, delicious breakfasts... We also enjoyed the Times bar ! We hope we will come back !
