Very nice brekfast,specialy freshly bakee bread.Rooms are comfy

The Tryp Dortmund is a pretty average three star business hotel. Rooms were mostly clean except for a few fingerprints, but otherwise pretty basic. Sadly, there is no air-conditioning available and the only ventilation system is in the bathroom. Otherwise your only chance at reducing the room temperature is by opening the windows, providing it's sufficiently cool outside. The breakfast buffet is ok for a hotel in this segment, but the fact that we found some blue specks of left-over cleaning agent on our cutlery and in a tiny glass which they use to serve pineapple and the likes greatly reduces their rating in this regard. Service is a bit slow and feels uncoordinated at times, but all employees were helpful and friendly at all times, which is a real plus. The location of the hotel is great for both access to the nearby campus as well as walking to the Signal Iduna Park. A nice Italian restaurant with good food can be found a few minutes away by foot. The hotel allows you to bring your dog with you, albeit at a hefty rate of 15 € per night.

Hotel has a great breakfast for 14EUR. Restaurant and bar is good. I had 2 meals and both were very good.
Downsides are 1. The WiFi because you have to log off one device before logging on with a second. It's a pain. 2. The rooms are noisy you can hear the person coughing next door.

very nice 3 star hotel with a very friendly staff. Unfortunately usually booked by businessman and therefore very expensive! If you have business in the surrounding area, I can recommend. For your personal vacation, not at all. You will find something equally good for a lot cheaper in Dortmund city.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön auf einem Berg und von einigen Zimmern kann man sogar das Signal Iduna Stadion sehen. Die Zimmer sind nicht auf dem neuesten Stand aber dafür sauber und erfüllen alle Erwartungen. Der Service war nicht besonders aber zufriedenstellend. Das Essen war besonders gut und hat gewirkt wie in einem sehr guten Restaurant.

Nicht zu weit weg vom Stadtzentrum, aber eine ruhige Gegend. Das Zimmer sah genauso aus wie auf den Bildern und war sauber und ordentlich hergerichtet. Der Check-In ging schnell und einfach, genauso wie der Check-Out. Parkplätze sind direkt beim Hotel vorhanden, kosten aber eine tägliche Gebühr.

Ideal für Fussballfans. Erst ein Classic Burger+Bier 15€ inder SkyBar später zum Spiel ins BVB Stadion. Es gibt ein kostenlosen Shuttleservice.

Business Hotel, relativ sauber die ein oder andere Staubmaus sah man, großes Bad, WLAN für knapp 5euro/Tag übertrieben, Küche ist ganz gut, Personal etwas verwirrt aber ok

Zimmer und Hotel sauber, es wird derzeit von außen renoviert. Frühstück preislich angemessen aber kein frisches Obst. Habe Haferflocken Jogurt Körner Nüsse und frisches Obst vermisst.

Wifi quality is not very good on your room even if you pay for it. Impossible to stream anything.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage. Des Weiteren ist das Essen sehr lecker. Die Zimmer sind für ein 3 Sterne Hotel sehr gut. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und gehen auch auf Sonderwünsche ein. Sehr gutes Hotel in Dortmund. Einziges Manko: Ein unbegrenzter Internetzugang (Flatrate) kostet 4,95€ für 24 Stunden!

stayed threé days there. next to university, but absolutely out of the range. rooms are comfortable, breakfast buffet fine. but the descriptions in internet are not accepted at the reception. check in only at 2.00 pm instead of 11 a.m., which was the description. and there is nothing arround - no pub, no shop. only grassland.
the only wlan which is useable is a very expensive t-mobile hotspot (8€/h).
