We have made this an annual thing to visit this hotel. Mainly because of the restaurant and the excellent customer service we get from Daniel. He is very friendly and really personalised our experience there. We literally look forward to sleeping at the hotel then going down to the restaurant in the evenings and having a good chat about the food, various beers and what's changed on the menu. The hotel is clean and operates like a well oiled machine. The breakfast is also top notch!

A great place to stay on a visit to Venice. Train station is just 20 meters from the hotel with a 10 minutes ride to Venice. Trains are very frequent. Airport bus stops about 100 meters from hotel.
Room was large, clean, well equipped. Breakfast was rich (could serve more vegetables... 😏)

We chose this hotel because we were on a trip through Italy by train and this hotel was near the station and relatively affordable. We were amazed with a big, modern and clean room. Great beds, shower, nice towels, breakfast and service at the reception. There was nothing I could comment about and that rarely happens in hotels for me. Highly recommended.

Excellent Front Desk. Quick and easy check in. The rooms are amazing. Baths include bidet, huge walk in shower has a square waterfall shower head system with hand held shower wall mounted. Directly across from Maestra Rail Station, Buses & Tram with easy access to Venice.

We received most warm welcome from Micro in reception. It is very good. The room was not well equiped with tooth brush, ...

Great hotel next to the train station and many bus stations. Lively area with lots of foot traffic. Beautiful renovations recently. Modern upgraded rooms with high end electronics, good wifi, big bathrooms, big bedrooms, stylish and clean. We stayed here 1 night before our cruise and will again 1 night after our cruise. The staff were very helpful. Wonderful breakfast buffet with lots of nutrition and Cristiana is the best server !! We stayed here for a week 3 years ago. Wonderful way to see Venice at reasonable prices. We hope to return again someday :)

Good location not too far from the train station. You will need to take a train to the heart of Venice but it's only about 10 minutes. The hotel room was really nice and spacious but the wifi was incredibly slow and I found myself having to roam.

Nothing wrong with the Best Western in Mestre. It is mostly what you would expect from a chain hotel. The location, across the street from Mestre train station is just perfect. The hotel is comfortable and nice. I wish there was free coffee in the lobby - no such luck I'm afraid.

In short, it is a good hotel but not very memorable and they really don't go out of their way to help.

I stayed in the Best Western Plus Bologne in Venice in June 2018. I was very impressed by the quality of the hotel and the professionalism of the staff. The restaurant was also excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice staff, room good size and clean. The bed is firm enough for my back. At first I was misled by the name Bologna, but in fact the hotel is across the street of Venice Mestre train station. Very conveniently located.

A clean, modern hotel with helpful staff. Website photos accurately depict the rooms. We had some lost luggage and the staff helped us bridge the language gap and make contact with the airport authority tracking our bag. The hotel is literally across the street from the Mestre train station. Train tickets to Venice are 1,50 Euros and the ride is only 10-12 minutes. A great alternative to Venice hotels, which are much more expensive and difficult to access except on foot. Hotel Bologna was a great choice for us. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Well located. 2 steps away from Venizia Mestre Train Station. Trains to Venice are frequent and take only 10mins to reach. Staff is amazing and so is the room. Restaurant is also good and decently priced.

The room is clean and the mattress is firm. Breakfast buffer has quite variety specially at the juice counter. The price is reasonable. Definitely I will come back.

very attentive personnel pleasant and creative to accommodate visitors request. i have in particular noticed the parience to guide tourists that did not master well a common language.
hotwl was under renovation, however not noisy.
the breakfast i found a bit dull.

Not Italian feeling at all, very new and American feel. But, everything was nice, especially the bar area. Breakfast is not free. Not many good restaurants located near this within walking distance.

Incredible stay at an incredible place. Transiting from Sweden and leading to Cambodia for research work, the night spent at Best Western Bologna was characterized by extraordinary efficiency, high quality human resources at reception, lounge and bar, and best value for money. The approach the management takes is a person-centered, technology based (high quality of internet in the room), and problem-solving one. Frankly, it was one of the best experiences in an hotel over 2017, by an experienced international traveler. Highly recommended but beware overcrowding at rush times for breakfast.

the hotel is very well located close to the station. the room was big and clean. especially I liked the check in personnel as the lady gave me a superior room and early check in. the room was clean.

This hotel is really good and the location is amazing there is so many restaurants and cafes in the area. The room is very elegant and clean and is very comfortable. If you book a room you cannot get in until 3PM, that's the only thing that I didn't like. Overall I would rate a 8/10 and I totally recommend it.

Four stars for the lunch. It was premade asparugs lasagna, despite that a very good value for money when in a rush between trains.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as a surprise trip to Venice for my wife's 30th. The price was excellent compared to hotels inside the city itself. First impression on arrival was very positive. The staff were very friendly and indulged my pretty terrible italian. The foyer and communal areas were all very modern and bright. We booked a superior room, and it was superb. A good size, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a large walk in shower that was nice and powerful. The TV was a good size and includes a variety of channels in Italian, English, French and some Arabic. The star of the show however has to be the restaurant. On our first night we thought we'd eat in house to keep things simple, with every intention of going elsewhere for the rest of the stay. After eating here we decided to come back to the hotel restaurant every evening. If the specials menu include the sea bass or sea bream take it! Overall every staff member we've met has been incredibly friendly and helpful. If we visit Venice again we will definitely be staying here.

A superb hotel, with friendly staff and delicious food. A 10 minute train from Venice with the station across the road, it's the ideal location without the hefty price of staying on the island itself.

Good size rooms, great location, friendly staff. Only reason I give it a lower score is because I swear you could hear EVERYTHING through the walls! Very annoying when you're trying to get a few z's before a long family trip.

The rooms are clean and modern. The amenities provided are the essentials and no issues with anything including the TV. The bathroom is great for a European bathroom including the bidet. The location is perfect for visiting Venice without paying a lot of money. The train station is right next to the hotel and is very cheap to go to Venice with frequent trains. There are a number of bars and restaurants close to the hotel including a bar in the hotel. If I were to visit Venice again I would stay here unless money is no object and you want to be in Venice. Also, breakfast (American) is very reasonable and Italian breakfast is also available.

This is a wonderful Best Western to stay next to. It's right next to the train station and it costs €1.25 to get to the main islands. The hotel rooms exceeded my expectations and are very modern looking. The receptionist desk is a little unfriendly and filled in incorrect information. She said that they don't take credit cards and referred us to a restaurant that has been closed. There is a book in each hotel room with information and some of it is incorrect also. For instance, they sell train passes at the front counter, but they no longer do. The restaurant at the hotel is extremely delicious, but the waiter was rude to us in the end. I loved my stay and would highly recommend it! As long as they don't mind having a bad receptionists.

Clean and updated, close to train and trip to Venice. Service was very good and the bistro was good too. Bar closes rather early.

We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Bologna. It's opposite the trainstation that takes you in less than 10 minutes in Venice.
We were checked in by Frederico. He is a sweet man and gives you a warm welcome. At check in he will provide you with a map of Mestre and Venice. He will provide you with all the information you need. You can alao by tickets at the front desk for the train to Venice. It's the same price as at the station, you don't have to stand in a waiting line, you only have to validate them at the station.
The room is spacious and clean. When the windows are shut you don't here any streetnoice. Airco is wonderful. The bed is quite firm, but we like that. The bathroom is also spacious and clean. The shower is wonderful, especially after an exciting day in Venice.
Breakfast is delicious. There's something for everyone. If you leave hungry, it's you're own fault. Coffee is served at your table.
The hotel has it's own parking. You don't need to make reservations, if there's no space, a member of staff will move it's car. But that probably will never happen. Plenty of parking spaces.
If we'll return to Venice, we will stay here again!

Hotel is quite reasonable. Conveniently located near the train station. Hotel staff is friendly. Ideal for a very short visit, but won't recommend for a longer stay. Getting to Venice in a bus is quite a chore.

I stayed 2 nights in a room with a king bed. The bed was comfortable. The shower marvelous. The accommodations excellent. Breakfast buffet was included in the price and was extravagant. The staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful. The location is right across the street from the train station, but you could not hear or feel the trains.

Very very good hotel compared to all those hotels in Venice island. My wife and I got 2 Bottles of wine and room upgrade during our honey moon stay! I can say the service is excellent and the location is very best as the train station is just opposite the hotel even you crawl you still be able to reach.

The front desk receptionists are all helpful and polite.

Asked for a fork about 11pm but the guy did not seem to greet me , so this is the only bad part I can say about this hotel, or else it could have been 5 stars rating from me.
