Out of time hotel with nice rooms. Location is convenient for people who want to stay close enough to the airport.

An older resort on a surprisingly serene beach location just next to all the bars, restaurants and shops. Spacious rooms have own doors directly to the pool area. Bathrooms looked recently renovated. Breakfast was a superb mix of buffet and à la carte. Well-equipped gym and good selections of movies and books. Service was very friendly and attentive throughout. Any requests were addressed without delay.

Lack of car parking on hotel premises was a bit worrying but there was always space on the street just next to the entrance.

The hotel seems to avoid attracting families with small children which kept the premises quiet at all times.

Great staff, great location, great service, gear free breakfast, clean.
Expect the best . I'm picky with reviews and this place is great.

Wonderful hotel. We stayed a week and the friendly, efficient staff didn't put a foot wrong. The beach itself is very crowded/commercialized but this place feels like a haven. A little pricey but if this is your budget range and you like a quiet hotel, don't hesitate to book.

Beautiful romantic meal on the beach at Casa del Mar. The food was delicious and service impeccable. A little more expensive than many other restaurants in Langkawi but worth especially for a treat.

Beautiful property. One of the best in Langkawi. Located in one of the best beach in the island, Pantai Chenang. Increadible service, beautiful rooms, and good Spa. Not reccomended to Families. Good for couples and honeymooners. Increadible food.

This is a little piece of Paradise in Langkawi. Great views, clean beaches and dining on the beach at sunset is a life experience you should not miss. Our second visit here and we'll keep coming back.

Fantastic boutique upmarket resort in a great location which also houses the best restaurant in the area. Easy (walking) access to the main street and all it offers, but far enough to the side that it is calm and great for relaxing. This is our second visit to Casa Del Mar and we look forward to returning again.

Amazing views from the beach side rooms, very tasty food, a star, or more, off for a not so professional staff,, Annie from front desk specifically was not even trying to be welcoming or nice! Others were so and so. Overall nice experience, even if a little pricey!

The price is decent but the setup seems like a service apartment. The triple rooms all face inside and don't get much sunlight whereas the double rooms face the pool or the road getting a better view and balcony. The Internet is extremely slow and almost unusable. The TV only has 2 local channels. But the amount of space makes it feel comfortable enough and the rooms do not feel too small.

Nice view of the beach, relaxed atmosphere and good beer. Food is good as well. Western food and western prices though.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was an absolutely dream place to stay. The hotel was right on cenang beach but it was quiet enough from the rest with easy walking to the rest of the place. The service at the hotel was outstanding and showed the best of Malaysian hospitality. It was really two thumbs up as everyone went out of their way to make it a great stay. Breakfast at la sal restaurant was delicious and we looked forward to it every morning. We didn't have any regrets choosing to stay here over some of the other five star hotels.

This place was a bit expensive compared to other eating experiences in the area. That being said, it was truly an experience and if you are looking for great service and exceptionally well thought out flavor combinations in a true resort atmosphere, I can not make a better recommendation in the area.

Had dinner here for a special occasion, and it was very special. We had a table right on the beach watching the beautiful sunset. We both ordered the sea bass which was superb. The chef had deboned and reconstructed the fish, which was a lovely touch. Recommended for a special occasion.

Went to Satkara Spa and had a great experience on their traditional Malay massage treatment. Remember to make advance booking as walk in customer is depending on masseur abailability

This is an excellent place and what I loved most was the service which was provided by all the staff. Since the time I checked in to the time of check out we were taken care of very well.

The rooms which overlooks the beach and beautiful sunrise was another plus point. I would definitely stay here again.

Superb, luxurious and spacious room. Condiment bar is small but fully stocked. The bathroom is especially decedent! Just love the soap so much I spent almost an hour to shower. Breakfast Bar is just fine and tasty. For a hotel that is located in Cenang, it is surprisingly tranquil.

Very good place to stay , very welcoming , you can just come out of your room and you are on the beach , very nice food , break fast menu should change every day , over all experience is excellent !!!!

Besure to bookmat least 2 days in advance for a nice spot at the beach.

Food isn't much to shout about. All the five stars you see here and on tripadvisor is probably due to the ambience at sunset, which is probably the only pro of this place. We came here and was seated at a table next to the beach by a waiter. The head waitress came up to (presumably) take our orders. She was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Her: "You know we close at 10pm right?" Me: "OK we'll be out of there by then" Her: (Making toxic face) "OK, what do you want?" Me: "Can I have a watermelon cooler and ..." Her: (Cutting me off) "You know that this table is already booked by another customer right? He's showing up at 1030pm" Me: "Ummm... didn't you just say you close at 10pm?" Her: "Yes, we're keeping the restaurant open for them.." Me: (Unsurprisingly perplexed) "Umm ... OK ..."
Long story short, if you're making such a great effort to get people to *leave* your restaurant, why sit them in the first place? We were looking forward to coming here after the numerous positive reviews we read online, so it was quite a disappointment to be received in such a manner. You have been warned.
