This was such a nice place, an open swimming pool, good breakfast facilities and a nice view to the beach. I really loved this place. I wish I could be back there. Anyways, it was a wonderful place and there was lots to see.

Hotel looks quite old, that’s why it is not so good (old bedsheets, TV...). Swimming pool could also be bigger. Lots of Restaurants and cafes in this area. But the personal of this hotel is great. They are working organized and I think they will always help. For example we asked if they can fix the MTV, because it wasn’t working and in 15 min. it worked.👌🏻But, if you want to ride a banana or donut on the beach , be ready it will be to expensive, you will never fell in water and it will be too short. And the beach is not the best, in the sea is danger of jellyfishes, this time we didn’t see any bit there is always risk (but both of this things are not hotels fault) We had a great time in this hotel 👍🏻

Great place to stay.. has two side; tower and beach.. beach side was good, either the tower side.. gym, swimming pool, playground all available.. staffs were friendly and helpfull.. breakfast food was great.. a recommended place to stay around Batu Feringghi area..

We booked two rooms here for 4 nights and had an awesome stay. The check in/our was speedy, the staff is very helpful and responds to each request quickly. The best part for us was the Indian restaurant inside the hotel which served delicious food till 10:30 pm. The hotel has a nice pool and easy beach access . The buffet breakfast has a huge variety. Rooms are spacious and very clean with awesome views. They also have live music in the hotel lounge area along with dinner. The overall experience was great !!

Room was perfect for a family of 4: one king-sized bed + twin beds for the children. Plenty of space in the restaurant for the buffet breakfast. Two wings - Beach & Tower - for some variety & spread of amenities.

When I first arrived, they were very helpful and immediately helped us with our luggage. The check in was speedy and we were given a nice view of the sea which was beautiful. I could access everything in my room easily and the bed and pillow was comfortable. The Internet connection was very strong and easy enough to use. There are many amenities in the bathroom that I was very satisfied with.
Note:
Most amenities are in the beach wing which is connected by an overhead bridge located on the first floor of the tower wing and at the pick up / drop off point of the beach wing.

The hotel is made up of two buildings with a bridge connecting them.
The beach is amazing (just make sure you don't go there during peak season otherwise you won't find a place to walk).
Breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and room service was great too. The hotel is located next to many shops and restaurants.
I can't think of anything negative about it.

Amazing place. Great pool and boost juice store inside the hotel. Easy access to the beach good breakfast. However some issues with room security such as doors not closing properly even when we had we closed it tight. Overall good place close to the theme park escape good food, drinks and pool apart from the door issues would visit it again and hopefully will soon

I joined a group of colleagues for a nice business lunch. We ordered some Indian dishes family style and they were all very good. Sat outside on a patio in the back and enjoyed a beautiful view of the beach while dining. Service was good but a little spotty during our visit.

Nice hotel. A bit old but well kept. The have two wings, one beach front and the other across the road. We were not aware when booking online using one of those hotel booking sites. The sites never highlight there are two separate wings. Our TV was faulty, did not complain as we only spent one night here. Room is spacious and clean. Hotel is right where the night street market is.

Had a pleasant stay with family during Chinese New Year. The room is clean. Hotel staffs are polite. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will recommend to others.

Great location by the beach with direct access to the beach. Lodging includes breakfast buffet with quite the variety of morning foods from breads, omelets, and local style food to fruits and American style food. The room itself is nice and clean. Location is within walkable distance to many local eateries and night vendors on the streets. They also have an awesome kids play area and ping pong table game area and a decent gym with clean equipment.

Overall, enjoyed our stay here. Bed comfortable, clean, lots of loungers near and around the pool. However, I assumed because it was a Holiday Inn, linens would not be a problem. Yet, after first day, we no longer received a bath mat or wash cloths ( was prepared for wash cloth brought my travel one). Also, while plenty of pool lounge chairs only a small number of cushions for the loungers. On a bright note, plenty of pool towels available and the food from the pool side cafe was quite good. Also, there was a strong smell of paint or glue fumes on our floor for about two days during our stay but not sure from what. Despite, these minor issues, I would stay there again.

We used the outdoor facilities and bar only; we did not stay overnight at this hotel. The scenery is outstanding, the food and drinks beautiful and the staff very friendly. Amazing sunsets, place to be!

Just OK. While the place is clean and mostly up to date it is still not Holiday inn standards. The first day we had all towels and linens, the next day no bath mat the following day no wash cloths. When I asked they said they had no more. I know this is petty but when you stay at a Holiday inn you expect to have linens.

Otherwise the place was nice and the staff was friendly. Breakfast is overpriced. Beach view and pool were nice. Plenty of chairs pool side.

We had a great time visiting the holiday inn just outside the hotel is a great night market open 7 days a week from 7.00pm at night till midnight serving multi cultral food and clothing stalls a foodies heaven.

Great hotel right on the beach, with nice gardens overlooking it to relax in. Central to everything you need. Breakfast is just ok and rather busy in the peak morning times. Rooms are decent size and very clean

Good stay, great location. Somebody who is travelling to this side of Penang for the first time its got a perfect location. Ferringgi beach is not bad, however there are cheaper and better options in the area and definitely better beaches in Malaysia.

We are welcome by their friendly staffs on Xmas Eve, Activities packs are given to our little kids. Right beside Starbuck, Batu Ferringhi Night Market and beach. Overall their service are super, their rooms are clean but dated, breakfast is great, just need some update and maintenance. And it will be perfect!

Room, services and facilities were great. Spent 2 nights with my family. Children enjoyed the pool. The singers who sang at the bar during night time were absolutely great. However, only 2 flaws during our stay. One of the lifts was not working . Instead of 2 lifts only 1 lift was working, but luckily the waiting time was not too bad. Secondly, there are some guests who smoke in the swimming pool area. It would be good if the swimming place area is smoking free. Other than that, it worths the price to stay in this hotel.

There are two buildings for this resort, Beach wing which is good for those who is looking for a quick access to beach along with sea view without destraction. The other one in the tower where you can enjoy the view and spacious rooms with balcony. Buildings are linked with pedestrians cross over bridge which makes the movement between the buildings safe and convenient to access swimming pool and beach.

Car park in not an issue at any time. Friday activities is an add on for this resort.

Overall you will get the service that match the value.

Fantastic hotel with a great view. This hotel has 23 floors with an amazing ocean view!! Most of the rooms have the ocean view :-).

It's a good hotel for the price compared to other hotels in the area. Rooms were spacious and clean. Nothing fancy. Nice facilities with the pool and chairs outside. Its right on the beach and walking distance to everything.

Awesome from the moment we checked in. Staff so lovely. Grounds beautiful. House keeping very quick for fresh towels after we used earlier in day. Breakfast delicious!

Thank God we brought some clean towels and bed sheets with us otherwise we would have left. I'd not advice to come here if you are used to sparkling clean rooms. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. I feel this is a 3 star hotel priced as 4 star one.

Great view, good location is near walkable to nite market. But only some people at the hotel offering tour below the market price example: 1 hour 10-15 ringgit. But they force us to go to Coffee,chocolate and tea boutique they doesn't like to follow the place that we need to go.

The hotel location is very convenient close to all eateries, the 3 double bed's room is very spacious good for a family travelling with children. The breakfast selection is good. The housekeeping is very attentive and overall experienced is very good.

We stayed at the tower building. It had an amazing view of the ocean. The room was clean & well equipped. The location is right in the market area so night shopping & street food is so much fun. The area is very safe for night strolling. There are paid bus services with bus stop right below the hotel to travel throughout the city hassle free. Breakfast was awesome with good variety but the breakfast area was a bit crowded. Also the pool could have been a bit bigger. The beach is accessible but not so good for swimming. We had a good stay.

Always made very welcome with friendly staff. Rooms are really comfortable. Breakfast has a variety of foods and food to order. During peak times there can be quite a wait for suitable seating.
This resort has two buildings with the main road running between them but there is an overhead connecting bridge.

The service here is fantastic, everyone is very friendly and helpful. Food We had the Indian menu tonight its rather disspointing and bland to say the least the nan bread is hard and tasteless cardboard, the chicken is nice and juicy, the prawn is blend, and the red kidney is too much cream and tasteless from indian customer point of view have to load fresh chilli to get some taste back. Breakfast display is bit ordinary, the cook ham/chicken section look bit worry? we been here a week yet to see the red bun, there is a blue steam bun not sure what it is. Need for healthy choice breakfast. Need good F&B manager to sort the place out. otherwise is a good hotel.

Clean rooms , large , on 20th floor, don't worry about being in the tower 'across the road' it's no problem what so ever. Sea right now is OK but so many small boats and jet skis that water isn't great... Sandy beach. Not enjoy sun beds for everyone, but fab huge towels given out. Breakfast is good but need to clear surfaces to keep things tidy, no bacon! Staff very helpful.

The hotel is well placed, you get a choice of a few good beach side restaurants.

The beach facing cafe is good and if you get a good spot near the beach its gonna be relaxing and fun.

The rooms are decently comfortable but what put me off was the mosquitoes. I got chewed by mosquitoes all night, couldn't get any decent sleep. Was surprised a place like Holiday Inn couldn't manage to keep out mosquitoes.

Overall is okay. But on the first night, I was really really UNPLEASANT because my friend and I were being asked by one of the worker there whether we are customers. I know that he cares about security but he could have used better language to ask instead of 'you guys stay here?' with bad attitude. Like we are thieves. Come on, we paid one thousand to stay there to relax and you asked us that question? Seriously.. very bad attitude and impolite.

Excellent location right next to the night market and lots of food options on the doorstep! Water activities are available right on the beach and highly recommend the foot massage! We booked a kid suite and the children loved it. PS3 in the room with a couple of games.

A decent hotel along the beach. Breakfast was very crowded and serves ok food. Furniture in spacious room is old but can see some attempts at refurbishment. Overall, a good place to stay for a short weekend getaway

was there december 2015. nice beach. horse riding & other beach activities available. the adult pool was alright but the kiddie pool was not as good. a few other hotels in this same stretch of beach have got bigger better pools, especially for kids.

room was clean, well maintained and spacious. our room was at the main building, the one by the beach with poolview & seaview, and not at the tower block mountain view further away. kids gets a colouring set upon check in.

buffet breakfast was adequate.

location is good... can walk to the nightmarket. for those who love hanging out at cafes, starbucks is just next door.

parking is a problem.

The hotel has a nice view. Rooms furniture is quite old and needs refabrication. Breakfast was awsome. While I was booking, I was mislead by the room type whether its in the main building or the outside building.
