This is a beautiful resort set on a marina. The breakfast place is lovely. The food in the onsite Restaurant was quite good but also very pricey. Excellent service throughout the resort!

Very fancy great services

My name is Tatiana Stuart and i am 12 years old. My mother Cassandra Lynch has a job but is not really enjoying it. This Christmas i think we will be short of food, drinks, and gifts. I told her she can take money out of my bank account, but she refuses too and kept saying I am a child. Although she said no, she would thank me for suggesting it. I want our Christmas to be one of the best ones yet, so this is why i am doing this job hunting.

Good view

I love the food, the service and the picturesque surroundings

We stayed only 3 nights, mid February. 3 adults and 3 young children. All under 5 years. 3 Bedroom apartment. We had a hire car but used the water taxi frequently.

100% we would certainly recommend Port Ferdinand and highlight the following:
Pros: great restaurant onsite for Sunday brunch and dinners, food was really good as was service for bar and dinner. one of the only few playgrounds for kids (other than cheffette restaurant which we use as a treat before flight back to UK on route to airport to let little ones have a play.) indoor play area as well and good gym.
Spa seems really nice too and my wife had a lovely experience, access to St Peter bay resort and their beach front as well as pool and bar area was enjoyable and I think you could Alternate how you enjoy the resorts on a longer break.
Quality of accommodation at Port Ferdinand is exceptional. Very luxurious and proper 5 star. Its a home away from home and that's what you pay for. There was nothing missing in the kitchen and appliances were of high standard. Washing facilities available, housekeeping came in late PM which can be inconvenient but it was nice to have the place tidy every day.
Move night at St. Peter Bay was amazing. We spend $500 that night but had a fab time with the kids enjoying sunset, hot dogs, burgers and popcorn with us on a night out. It was outdoor big screen entertainment and part of the kids club set up. Really good.
I would give the overall experience a 9 out 10 for the last few days and everything worked as advertised and promised. There is a lot of water around so be just a little more cautious with little ones and you will be fine.
Downsides: Breakfast, whilst the food quality is great the resort has probably only started to offer families a bed and breakfast option. The staff and service levels are different a breakfast and honestly a disappointment. Slow service, timed 6 minutes to bring out some ketchup and mustard if you have 2 tables to serve, cereal being served after hot food, no refills offered for coffee or tea, small things but annoying if you just want to start your day in paradise. Overall Port Ferdinand will thrive once the beach area gets more attention and Nikki Beach is bound to add to the package offering. If you have the opportunity to stay do it. A great , relaxing holiday and high end accommodation with nice staff offering a truly 5 star experience.

Has a Miami feel and very clean yacht club. Overall good but has a very snobby ambiance - customer service can be improved. The spa is amazing here and often has special promotion. The lunch at the yacht club is exclusive to people staying on property (which is less than 10 people) - the entire property feels like a ghost town at times. The restaurant "1359" is open to the public and has great staff and happy hour special.
