Overlooking the bay. This place has really beautiful sunrise views. Staff is nice and helpful too. due to covid precautions there are hand sanitizer stations throughout the lobby.
Also has an inhouse starbucks. Offers airport shuttle every 30 mins or so. Will definitely recommend the hotel for SFO visits.

Not sure about the Marriott, but the surrounding waterfront is great. Beautiful for sunrise and gazing at the jets landing/takeoff, and a nice outdoor workout station. Also comfy reclined chairs at the water's edge

Nice hotel pretty close to the airport. Shuttles run regularly. Didnt have the chance to use many amenities as I only arrived at 5am after a cancelled flight. Rooms are clean and spacious. Comfy bed. Better than usual hotel pillows. Good gym.

People usually say that staying in a hotel near the airport is such a crazy decision to make but our stay here says otherwise. It's a perfect and cozy place to stay to catch a flight and still have a very decent sleep and to avoid the busy streets in the downtown. I can't remember being distracted by any arriving or departing plane to or from SFO as I almost didn't hear it from the hotel room.

The airport shuttle is always on time and the driver is helpful in getting your luggage to or off the designated luggage storage area.

The staff at this Marriott hotel are extremely awesome - friendly, helpful, and efficient. I loved staying here. In- house Starbucks shop and ice-cream station are cherry on the cake. Also, I saw someone clean the gym equipments on a Sunday morning. This made me feel so special - thank you team, for taking care of the small details. Special shout out to all the front desk folks and cleaning staff for making my stay a magical one. The running track at the back of the hotel is so cool too.
I recommend this place and will be returning soon.

There is shuttle to airport every 15 mins. Their lobby and bar offer food, while looking outside facing the bay. There is small.Gym but no fancy Spa offer on-site. Room has good space size, some room has good view, depends on which wing your room at.

Fantastic stay!! Very trendy hotel with clean and spacious rooms!! Great waterfront views and you can also watch the planes take off and land which is great. The staff are helpful and nice!! There is a free airport shuttle that runs frequently and free, fast WiFi!!

Very very cool place. The bayside view is breathtaking. The room service is way too expensive. We had no towels in our room on arrival that made us wonder if the room had really been cleaned. The shower leaks a huge puddle in room 4097. I mean huge! Also the hot tub downstairs was like warm at best.

A super great hotel to stay at. It was a high end and nice Marriott. The lounge and bar had some very good foods and drinks. And, the view from my room was incredible. Overall, a fun experience.

The hotel was right by the airport and had a shuttle that ran every few minutes, so great location. The room seemed newly redone and very clean. We got a king sized bed, which was extremely comfortable. The hotel was very flexible with late check-out and allowing us to store our bags.

Excellent and pleasant stay. We ended up having to book a room as our original flight was delayed from Toronto, and we missed our connecting.

The check in staff was very hospitable and empathetic about our flight delays. She ensured we would have breakfast for the next morning, and provided us with information about ordering-in food given that we had arrived rather late and the hotel's restaurants had closed.

We had a water-facing room, which was a nice view. In fact, beyond the water, we could also see the airport runway, so it was nice to see planes landing (without having the disturbance of the noise, as the runway was quite a distance away).

Check in and check out was seamless.

Also, there is a shuttle between the airport and this hotel, which made transportation very easy. Furthermore, there are car rental companies about 5-10 mins walk away from the hotel, which was nice as we ended up picking up a rental car to spend time around the city while waiting for our flight.

I had to go to a conference at the Hyatt nearby. My first thought was how lame it was that I was going to SF and had to stay in an airport hotel. Then the Hyatt was totally booked. I scrambled and got a room at this Marriott. It was quite pricey (possibly because the conference was large and I was booking kind of late). So I was all around annoyed - paying a lot for an airport hotel and not even the one where the conference was held - until I got there. This is a very nice hotel, period. Nice design with a big open lobby/bar with huge windows and a large patio that looks out on SF bay. The view of the bay is spectacular. Every morning I ran down a path that runs right in front of the hotel and hugs the bay shoreline. After work I would grab a beer and do my work at the bar while watching the planes land one after another over the bay. The food at the bar was good and so was the steak restaurant in the hotel. The hotel also has the only nearby Starbucks inside it. It was so nice to get up, run, grab Starbucks and walk the short distance up the bay path to the conference every day, then return to a nice bar and great view. Again,I paid A LOT for all this, but it is a VERY nice place to stay!

The rooms were well prepared and clean. Check-in was easy and fast. Location was perfect for my guests and me as it is close to the airport and offers shuttles every 10 minutes. One of the front desk staff could have been a bit more welcoming.

The location is not great, not convienent to grocery stores, bus stations or BART but they provide a free 24 hour shuttle to the airport to make up for it. Everyone is very friendly and helpful with the exception of the Hangar Steak front of staff. Otherwise everyone has gone out of their way to make out stay pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and the view is fantastic. The grounds are also very pleasant.

The location of this hotel is super convenient and it's a great price for the quality. Our room faced the waterfront and the airport. I was worried the sound of the planes would keep us awake but it never disturbed us and watching the plane traffic was mesmerizing. We never ate here as the food was expensive, but there's a great restaurant down the waterfront trail that was an easy walk, and the concierge is very amenable to providing referrals to other eateries. The gym and pool area were clean and spacious as were the rooms. The kindness and friendliness of the staff really puts this place over the top though. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a high quality hotel with excellent amenities. The decor and atmosphere are beautiful. The room was very comfortable and inviting. The staff was the epitome of helpfulness and made me feel welcomed and appreciated.

Location is very close to the airport and has a pretty good selection of restaurants close by. There is a waterfront walkway that stretches about a mile. Nice walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only odd thing was the sliding door on the bathroom doesn't lock or really close all the way. Staying with a buddy that is mischievous was interesting going to the bathroom. Hotels should always provide bathroom privacy. Other than that, this hotel is legit!

This hotel is right next to the airport but is do quiet you don't even hear planes flying overhead. The lobby is clean. Nice bar and restaurant is good. Food comes out quick. The rooms are clean well furnished. The prices are avg for the area. Nice grounds. Parking was free. Shower pressure was great. Most bay area hotels have low pressure but this one is awesome.

Great waterfront location! Take advantage of the trail that follows the water's edge; great for a walk, jog or stroll. Better than average concierge lounge, with a good variety of hot and cold foods. Love the candy dispensers that are there to please the child in you! Free San Francisco area postcards available in the lobby. Front desk will even mail them for you!

I went to a professional event. The event consisted of around 500 people. The venue was nice, but the food was okay. The main course arrived cold but it is understandable when you got to serve 500 people steak dinners at the same time. They ran out of Self parking but they offered valet for free. Overall it was decent.

Pauline, Eileen and Ryan at the Marriott Waterfront are a wonderful group of people and their customer service is above elite. Here's the story we arrived in San Francisco and our cab driver took us to the wrong Marriott. So we proceeded to cancel at one and rearrange our reservations to the Waterfront. We called Marriott reservations and the gal on the phone was elite as well (I cant remember her name). So the short of the story is Thank you Team Waterfront. I am in sales and customer service and the did a superb job. Thanks.

We didn't stay at the hotel. But went to the Starbucks inside. The ambience is fantastic, and there was a beautiful Christmas tree. The common area is also a dining area with a bar, and the place was very festive. We can see the water, and the also see planes take off and land - it's beautiful!

The Starbucks inside is quite cozy. There was free WiFi and it was at a good speed.

My family and I had Christmas dinner at Hangar Steak restaurant inside the hotel. There was a limited Prix fixe holiday menu offered. The view was great and the food was good. Our server was very nice but it took forever to get our food/drinks. You'd think that with only three items on the menu, the food would come out pretty quickly but we were there for about 2.5 hours in total. This wouldn't be a problem normally but we had two little kids with us and it never pays to make a 2 year old wait for their dinner. I can't complain too much, though, because we had dinner here last year for Christmas and had the exact same problem. We'd try somewhere else but this place is so convenient. Also, it took forever for them to get back to me regarding holiday reservations. I left messages twice (in November) and they finally responded about a week before Christmas.

The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous in the inside, the renovations looked amazing. The lounge was really well stocked and comfortable to spend time in. I had a waterfront view room and I loved every second of the view. I shared a room with my mother and my husband for a weekend trip to San Francisco and while if I had been using the bed on my own it would've been fine, it wasn't meant for two peopl. Other than that, every person we interacted with was friendly and helpful, overall a great experience.

Customer service friendly. I liked that they offered complimentary shuttle service and trolley rides into town. Room was okay; mostly clean. Since the hotel is very close to SFO they boast soundproof windows, but I didn't think they were very soundproof.

The rooms were clean, very new, and very nice and spacious. Bed was comfortable and clean. The staff were very courteous and the shuttle to the airport comes around every 10 minutes in the early morning so it's very convenient. I ate dinner in the lounge area and it was excellent as well. This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in in the past year and I'll look to stay here again if I need a hotel near the airport in the future.

Our house keeper was the nicest woman I've ever met, very sweet and quick to help. The view of the water is beautiful. The only issue had was the restaurant in the lobby took a very long time.

Was here for three days during a large conference. The hotel is actually quite nice, has a large bar and atrium space, and the event space is roomy and breaks down well into many smaller meeting rooms. The food quality is fair, though we probably didn't have the high end menu (though the baked goods were high quality). Last, the hotel staff were very courteous and helpful.

I should note that there is a $26/day parking fee, but that can be negotiated. There are only a couple hundred parking spaces, so best that individuals stay there or expect to use shuttles / alternate transportation if a large event.

I really enjoy coming to this place to do work after I leave the office. There is a large, Grand room in which to sit in. One can optionally sit outside near the fire pits as well and watch the airplanes come in over a beer, very relaxing Sometimes It can be a little cold inside, so make sure you bring a jacket. Bonus points for the Shoe Shine Service lady, who does a great job on any of my shoes while I'm there doing work.

Great rooms, neat views of the airport and fast access to the airport. The personel from the front desk was really helpful and the check in fast. The room was clean and spacious with a king bed. Inside the hotel you can find an Starbucks but it closes at 4:30pm. I went for a walk at 5am and everyone was very friendly. The prices on the menu were a little high, but the quality was really good!

Upscale and very convenient to the San Francisco airport. Clean and quiet rooms. Good restaurant and a Starbucks in the lobby. Has a small indoor pool and fairly large exercise facility. Looks out over the bay and is adjacent to a fantastic public walking trail along the bay.

Nice hotel on the bay. Good clean room. The seafood chowder at the bar was delicious. Take a walk along the water or just sit and watch the airplanes take off and land at the airport across the bay (don't worry, you can hardly hear them in your room). Free shuttle to and from the airport.

Modern Marriott property with a beautiful view of the airport runway and waterfront while still being fairly quiet. The lobby is nice and large with a beautiful bar and lounge. The M Club is nice but no snack service on Friday night, while typical, is disappointing. Shuttles were completely full, and they service 2 hotels. I think they should either have larger shuttles or more of them. Will stay again if I am in the SFO area.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating, especially adept at international guests with various languages. Great lobby bar personnel and lovely view of the water. M Club and restrooms we're clean as we're guest rooms. Everyone from bell staff to desk and phone reception people we're helpful with some difficult customer situations.

Friendly convenient hotel and conference center. The lobby has a nice bar with a good craft beer selection and good food. Enjoy a drink and meal on the outdoor patio overlooking the bay and watch in amazement as the planes take off land and taxi around SFO. Convenient running path along the bay, about 2 miles end to end allows for a safe a scenic walk or run. Full Starbucks in the lobby as well as a nice lounge for priority rewards members. The rooms are nice and recently updated.

The hotel is in a really good location right next to the water. It has a lounge with a fantastic view with a large window wall. Cannot say anything about their service as I did not stay overnight

This place was amazing. The staff was super friendly and the view of the bay was fantastic. The hotel is close enough to see airplanes take off but not close enough to hear them. There is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel which makes it very convenient.

I was impressed with this hotel. I was placed here by my travel team for a work event, never would have thought to book here unless I was flying out. The lobby is pretty stunning with huge multi-story windows looking out to the bay. The Club M has a good breakfast for those of you with status with Marriott. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room I had was updated and had excellent views of the bay and airport. I didn't really notice the noise from the planes but I did hear other people complain about them. I also used the gym which was above average for a hotel gym.

Was only there to pick up a race packet, but the hotel was clean and inviting. Employees were friendly. The view out of the floor to ceiling windows was pretty. Bar area was full with a happy hour crowd.

Very nice hotel. Great service at the bar in the restaurant and the food was delicious (mushroom risotto and roasted veggies). Close proximity to the airport and there is a nice running trail that goes along the waterfront right outside the front door. Also a pro, there is a Starbucks in the lobby.

Even though we went just before they closed, the waiter was incredibly courtious. Food took a little while to come out but that's to be expected as a result of is coming in so late. But regardless, my salmon tasted great. My mom's steak sandwich was ok. Not bad but not amazing either. Solid 4 Stars

Rooms are very nice, modern! TVs with Neflix are a huge bonus. Excellent location with close proximity to SFO airport, but plenty of amenities nearby. Rooms are very clean and beds are superb! Front desk staff are warm and very helpful with any requests that you may have. Will recommend this hotel to all those who need a nice place to stay that is near to the airport, and offers fantastic amenities as well

The hotel staff and rooms are nice. But they lack a mini fridge to keep any leftover food you might have cold. And there is also no microwave in the room. Pretty standard to most hotels, even motels, nowadays. Also a friend told me that they've been staying there year after year for a comvention, and they just now gotten dresser's in their rooms. 3 stars.

Nice hotel great view, cheap parking for park and fly. Shuttle runs every 10 minutes. Rooms are updated and clean. It view was great we were able to watch Jets take off and land. Hotel is 1 mile from airport.

Stayed here for a week recently. Lovely hotel with a great view out from the lounge. Could sit there all day watching the planes coming in to land. Super helpful and polite staff made the stay all the more enjoyable.

We stayed at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront for 4 nights to attend a half marathon at Chabot Park in Castro Valley. The hotel check-in was a breeze, Santiago took care of our every need and we were in our room in just a few minutes. Our luggage was delivered soon and the bellhop filled up our ice bucket before he left. We came in on Friday and the hotel was Lively. The common area was fun and the restaurant was bustling. Our room had a view of the bay and we could watch the planes take off. The distant Rumble of the planes did not bother us. Our seven-year-old enjoyed indoor the pool when we got back to the hotel from the day's activities. They have a Starbucks and a small gift shop and the Flatiron restaurant. The drive into San Francisco was approximately 35 minutes and we went in several days and enjoyed various activities. We would recommend the Marriott Waterfront and a great stay.

Nice friendly staff. Great location. Timely and frequent shuttle. The only downside...walls a bit thin. We heard our neighbor coughing in the early morning hours, but we were already up. And the soundproofing to combat airplane noise is weak. I've been to other airport hotels that seen to do a better job. That being said, we were not kept up by it.

One of my favorite places to stay. I prefer to stay here over the city. Easy parking and an incredible view. New rooms and great staff.

This hotel was one of the better Marriotts at which I've stayed. The hotel staff goes above and beyond to be respectful and courteous. I was even upgraded to a room with a great view on the top floor. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and fairly spacious. The food options in the hotel restaurant are tasty, even compared to non-hotel restaurants. The M Lounge had fresh and creative breakfast options for every day I had breakfast there.

It is a very modern hotel, conveniently located to the freeway for easy access to tourist locations.The staff was really great to work with. We had an issue with our room and went above and beyond to make us happy. It is a hotel I would recommend staying at.

We went to the Hanger Steak restaurant for Christmas dinner. The menu was Prix fixe and there was a selection of 3 meals. The food was very good but the service was extremely slow. We brought two young kids and you'd think they'd understand that kids have a limited attention span and might hurry things along---but the meal took about 3 hours. The restaurant wasn't busy, so I'm not quite sure what the holdup was. Other than that, the hotel has an excellent location and I was pleased with the experience.

The lobby has beautiful view of the bay. The restaurant also has good view of the bay. Food is reasonably priced as well.

Such a great Hotel! I specifically chose this property despite it being about 15 miles from my office. The other Marriott is closer but also older. The Airport location has gone through multiple renovations and it's shown throughout.

The staff are nothing shy of incredible, from the front office to valet and the Middle Club attendants.

Rooms are bright and clean, lobby lounge is a great place to escape from your room, built in full service Starbucks and amazing views!!

I will definitely be returning back next week.

Highly recommend to anyone that needs a hotel in the area, for either leisure or business... So many benefits!!

The room was nice, but it didn't feel like a good value. Despite requesting a King room, we were given a Double Queen on the second floor right above the main road. It was loud traffic noise and the AC fan rattled terribly. The bathroom door was just a rolling glass panel so there wasn't a lot of privacy. I also would expect free wifi for a room of that price, but nope. Location was convenient for our needs, but with many other options in the area, I think I'll look around for better value in the future.

Excellent Marriott property right next to the Airport. Recently updated with a very modern decor. Gym is excellent with a nice indoor pool. Lobby bar is big and usually very busy. Nice restaurant overlooking the bay, but several nice restaurants and bars are just a short walk on the water trail.

Excellent location, great view of the Bay & Runway to airport. Great walking and running path for fitness conscious. Great Dining in and around hotel!

I came here for an event. I'm always surprised how welcoming this place can be, the main social area is very spacious with comfortable seating and is always kept very clean, the outdoor seating has a great view of the Bay, and the staff are attentive and helpful. I'm sure I'll be back.

We had to stay a night because our flight was delayed, so we just booked rapidly one night, we did not really expect anything from this hotel. And I have to say it is a great hotel, the bedrooms are quite big for this type of hotel, really comfortable beds and a TV with streaming services on it like YouTube, Netflix or Hulu for example. The only thing I did not like was that the first room they gave us smelled like cigarette, but they did change it without hesitation. The view from the lobby to the sea is great, but if I had to say what I enjoyed the most, it would be the breakfast, a really good buffet with freshly squeezed orange juice and really high quality food. The pool if also really nice, but too chlorinated. Overall great hotel.

The views is so beautiful, right off the water. The hotel it's self is amazing I've never seen anything like it I was there for business so I only got to see one of many conference rooms and it was immaculate so clean and there professionalism is on key. They really know how to treat there guest. Definitely 5 star

This place has great staff and is a truly magnificent location. This is an Awesome property that never disappoints. I absolutely love this hotel.

Great view from the patio! This hotel has the hottest hot tub and the warmest pool. The room service is excellent and fast, the kid's meals are inexpensive and giant. Walk to elephant bar, Benihana and more!
The downside is the $25 a day charge for parking, and the bar has nice bartenders, but it took me 15 minutes to order a glass of wine, and I was sitting AT the bar.

We stayed here on a visit to San Fancisco in September. While the hotel is not close to the city there are a few options for transportation into the city. First is obviously by car and second is hotel shuttle to airport then the BART. We drove and its about 30 minute drive, but it's easy. The hotel was very nice. One of the best Marriotts I've stayed at ever. The breakfast in the M Lounge was superb (gold and platinum members). I would definitely stay here again and recommend others stay here. The rooms were modern and it seems to be a new hotel. The view of the airport and little walking path by the airport is also nice. I didn't notice much noise from the airport either.

I just stayed there this last weekend is ok. very clean and friendly staff no complain except for the food OMG it was expensive and disgusting like seriously 18$ for a flavorless piece of crap ...PLEASE REVIEW YOUR MENU AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
