Very good breakfast and beautiful hotel

Great atmosphere, beautiful view of the port and good selection of articinal beers🍺😀

Big spacious room and bathroom. Nice and clean. No minibar, but a fridge. No kitchen accessories, but you can just order room service. Big TV and a leather sofa. View to the parking lot. No air condition, so it's a bit too warm in the night. Hallway corridors smell old. Excellent service from the staff, and a fantastic breakfast. Food is good at the hotel gastropub Café Rene, and the beer selection is definitely above average for hotels. Public wifi. Compared to Norwegian standards it's comparable with 3-star hotels, but if you compare with general European standards it's 4 stars.

Good and quiet hotel, not expensive, normal food so we will come again here. Near is Marilyn Monroe statue (suprise !), cute town around and shore for quit walking. Near is a tall bridge and can view of the ships passing through the windows of the hotel

It is a good hotel in general. Lot's of events going on there, good food, two bars, gym and sauna (could have been warmer). It's a pity that such a large brand like Scandic divides customers into better and worse - at least this is my personal impression.

This hotel is located in an amazing position along the waterfront. Close to all amenities. Fantastic conference facilities. The restaurants serve delicious food with adequate servings. I recommend the halibut. Service was excellent. The staff were amazing and went out of their way. Worth the visit for the 3 nights.

Nice location, excellent breakfast, smallish rooms, and why is there only a poor excuse for a door between the sleeping area and the bathroom?

I had a breakfast here and it is great, so nice people to welcome you, and the food is fresh and coming from farms close by. It is worth a visit

The hotel seems well maintained and the room was nice and newly refurbished. Hallways inside the hotel could need a touch up to get full pot. The parking facilities Is very expencive but an alternative a walking distance is possible. The reception is ok but the receptionist also answer phonecalls, and I had to wait long time for check in. Breakfast has one of the best selection I have seen, very good.

This is just great place, all in all. It deserves visiting many times. Higly recommended.

Excellent location and breakfast every morning is really awesome. Rooms little lacking in some respects but if your visiting your probably going to be out and about most of the time anyway. Staff are friendly and beds are comfortable.

The rooms were pretty much worn out, no aircondition. No water heater, not even a bottle of water.
The breakfast was good, better than most hotels ive been to in Norway.
Location is very convenient, airport shuttle bus just on the main road.

Very nice people working here , great location and also have charging spots for electric cars (schucko) but only two as I can see ). So ask before you come if it’s free .

Rooms are nice and clean , a bit dated tiles on bathroom but fits the nautical theme .

Very serene and great amenities here. Security is great. If you Love nature, just next to a water body "River/Channel" call it... surrounded by necessary social places. Conducive neighbourhood. Above all, Very Clean Environment.

Perfect location to explore the town, the staff is skilled and very attentive. The breakfast is amazing and one of a kind when it comes to traditional norwegian breakfast. You'll find all sorts of delicious specialties, prepared on the same day with selected local ingredients. When it comes to rooms, this being a big hotel, it's a bit of a hit or miss. Our room was ok but a bit worn out, it could need some refurbishing. But all in all it was a great stay.

Great location next to Haugesund harbour. The food is excellent and the brakfast is the best to be found in Haugesund. Would recommend this hotel for conferences etc.

I enjoyed my stay, and breakfast was exceptionally good - but was shocked to realize that parking costs were extremely high. Luckily I'll get a refund from my employer, but I'll think twice before staying with my private car in a hotel where parking costs 150 NOK per 24 hours.

Its an older Hotel, also the room furniture isnt the newest. But the rooms are clean and you have enough parkinglots around the hotel. The price is also good. And the breakfast is huge and with verry fresh and tasty food. Also the employes are friendly and the hotel is family friendly.

Located in a charming area by the sea. The rooms are a little old but the service is good

The hotel seems to have an old an badly maintained and serviced part and a new part.
My room was dark and in very bad shape with a horrible view on a parking lot.
Hardly any plugs were to be found in the room and one of the 2 was connected to the light switch, I had to unplug the tv to charge my phone.
Furthermore the doors are not locked, they remain open for quite a while.
I checked with reception and they informed me that this is a feature in case of fire, you can return to your room and get your key!!! Excuse me??????

The good things was all food breakfast and also cafe Rene was good.
The service was ok, yet I certainly felt more welcome in other hotel before.

I would not book that hotel for a leasure stay, for business ok.

Nice, clean room. GREAT breakfast. Parking and entrance are a minus.

Breakfast was delicious, The bed very comfortable, slept well!
However the rooms and public areas were just ok. The hallways and doors in particular could do with some softening, painting - something.
A conference centre welcoming international guests but no international electrics plugs to borrow or buy.
