One of the best hotel in Geneva in terms of guest relations and services. We left our luggage in this hotel for courier from Geneva to India and they looked after our luggage and helped the courier agent to pick up our luggages.Thank you starling residence Geneva.

Wonderful service and location. We stayed on the ninth floor with a view over Geneva and the Alps. The hotel gave us free tickets for public transportation in the city, but with the convenient location, we could walk everywhere we wanted to go.

With the tram just in front it's perfect to visit the city.

Clean, easily accessible to the tram, friendly staff, good food in attached restaurant, all necessary amenities in the room, comfortable beds. Only complaint was a small leak at the base of the shower spilling onto the bathroom floor. Would definitely recommend it to others and stay there again.

The rooms are neat and clean. However the cleaning service is only once every 3 days. The staff are very nice helpful and professional.

Value for money serviced apartments in a neighborhood close to the city. Location is good with a Migros supermarket 50 meters away and the number 15 tram to the UN/ central train station outside the front door. There are no laundry facilities on site but a decent laundromat around the corner. It's quiet at night despite being next to a nightclub. The photo below is of the view from my window.
Be warned though: the a/c is basic and the breakfast at the attached Italian restaurant is poor. For CHF15, the continental buffet is very limited if you don't eat meat. The coffee is weak and once I found plastic in bread baked on site. The waiter is also surly and seems to resent work. He rarely replenishes the buffet despite helping himself to the food, eating it in full view of the dining customers. I ended up trying to self cater breakfast as the buffet is not worth it.

Am currently staying here. Perfection at a good price. The studio was new and very well-appointed. Freezer and everything. Microwave a bit hard to reach but it is there. Quite a luxurious bathroom with a rainshower. I thought at first that breakfast would be limited but really it's very good. Excellent concierge. I thought the view from my room was not bad at all! I could watch the sun set over the hills. Hotel is literally right in front of a number 15 tram stop which meant that it was so easy to commute to Nations or the Old Town or the flea Market. You have to wash up your own dishes (which I thought was fine) and I don't think there is housekeeping on weekends (also fine). They also have a gym.

It's a good short or long term stay residence however I feel they raised their prices by way too much considering the location. Nonetheless, the rooms are really well done and the Plainpalais area is always bubbling with activity. The tram station is also right outside this residence offering quick convenience.

The residence is centrally located and well managed, the staff is competent and helpful. I stayed in a studio apartement and enjoyed extended walks in the surroundings, discovering Carouge, a town within Geneva with a history related to the ruler of Piemont (worthwhile researching), later to early immigration of Italian, Portuguese, Spanish workers (someone on the road told me 'Carouge is Italian, eh?!' The 'eh' was executed with the typical fingertip gesture as in 'ma che vuoi' so I don't dare to doubt that Carouge is heavily Italian influenced.

I would prefer everyone to keep this on priority if u would like to book a hotel in Geneva.

Good solution in Geneva. Clean and comfortable rooms with Kitchen. I would only skip breakfast that is very poor but rather expensive for what it offers.

Very nice room. It's just in front of a tram station. They are giving you a public transportation pass for the duration of the stay. Breakfast is nice too.

Nice Place. But a few amenities missing like Washing Machine,.

Excellent location. Helpful staff. Clean rooms. If you plan to arrive Sunday or late a night, be sure to confirm that there will be someone to do the check-in at the reception.

My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at The Starling Residence. We found the staff most helpful and pleasant. The location was really good with the tram stop outside the residence. The restaurant was also really nice and staff equally helpful. We will definitely return. Thank you Starling!

This is a great place to stay on a budget while exploring Geneva. It's got a small but functional kitchenette that we used often. It's very central to many things in Geneva and walkable distance to many sites. We had free WiFi, though it's not very reliable.

Nice residence, clean and just a few walks from the tram station(Biggest advantage , if you consider that the taxi costs more than 50€ to get you there from the airport). On top of that, the free provided transportation card proved to be very usefull and the public transportation was very easy to use. In addition, the price was very reasonable too.
The Italian restaurant was nice (had a very friendly sardinian guy who offered us free sweet.) and in the morning the restaurant offered free breakfast.
The only small drawback is the exterior look of the Starling residence and the not so quite area.
Totally recommend it for suh a nice price.

Nothing to complain about here: crystal clean, well appointed suites. Great beds, good wifi, everything as it should be. Complete little kitchen; wish I would have had time to use it)

Very nice apartment close to the centre. Not the biggest room but has everything you need and was very well maintained.

The only thing that might cause problems is the noise from the busy road. Traffic was quite loud from the 5th floor so if this is something that would put you off ask for a room at the rear of the apartments.

Lovely place to stay! The friendly staff was able to communicate in English. They also accommodated our requests to arrive and leave earlier. Pleasant room! There is a tram stop next to the hotel. The free travel pass was the cherry on top!
