We went here for our honeymoon, the hotel is very impressive, the staff are lovely. The rooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are real stone, the air con works and isn't loud. The downsides are few but worth mentioning. There are no in-room facilities to make yourself hot drinks and no restaurant option for evening dining, which seemed very peculiar as there is 24 hour room service which is excellent. The hotel bars are excellent, especially for cocktails but very pricey. I guess you can expect that. I'd say this is very nearly a 5 star destination save for those few shortcomings

Excellent place to stay. Great service rooms are fantastic and if you are high enough the views are magnificent. The place to stay as it's convenient to all attractions and shops. Nice area to walk around either daytime or at night. 5 star rating.

We stayed in The Towers. There's the palace, regular rooms, and then there's the Towers. Separate check in desk, separate elevators and really good service. Other than the better service, the Towers offer higher floors than the Palace. I stayed in the Corner Suite. What an amazing place! Over 1,200 square feet! In Manhattan! Wow. Really amazing. Had 1 and a half bathrooms. Awesome views, a huge living room, a huge closet with dressing room. I mean this place was beyond what I imagined. If you drive there, parking next door is convenient but ridiculous. They wanted $100 with no in and out privileges. I parked at the Seagram Building 2 blocks away for $35. Just a suggestion. Otherwise I would go back there in a second. Here's how cool it was... It was snowing outside our windows, but raining on the street level. So sweet.

We are loving staying here. Everything is perfection. The staff are super helpful and so nice. The rooms are very well done and the beds are heaven!! Lots of adorable lounges to hide out in!

Am midway through my stay and so far it's great. The bed is very comfortable which is the most important thing for me. There's great water pressure and I was able to take a nice long hot shower. The room service is pretty expensive ($52 for a club sandwich, fries and an ice tea)! The location is convenient. Given the size of the room, I wish the bathroom was given more square footage.

Service was excellent; lots of care was given to our luggage as it was brought up. Wifi was fast, and there were no issues connecting. Hotel was accommodating with my sister's birthday, giving her a small chocolate mousse cake which was delicious. Fantastic view of St. Patrick's Cathedral and the rest of the city. Room was nice, well lit with many outlets.

Our stay was beautiful and elegant. We were pampered and our needs were catered to. During our visit, the place was flooded with kings and dignitaries from every country as they literally had an International summit there. We were treated just as they were, with respect and dignity, even though we were not Kings. Awesome visit - highly recommended.

We stopped in to have drinks at the bar. The area was formally the music room of the mansion and truly stunning! The staff were terrific and friendly. The bartender was knowledgeable and gave us a history lesson along with a small tour! This on top of tasty drinks of course. Great place!

5-star hotel. But, I was expecting more. Like maybe a microwave, fridge on the room. And a little more space. Nice view overlooking St. Patrick's Cathedral. Great location.

This is an extremely prestigious hotel in the heart of the city. Stayed here for a friends wedding and was extremely impressed. My son was having a temper tantrum in the lobby when we arrived and a staff member appeared out of thin air and gave him a complimentary teddy bear which definitely helped. Their staff is absolutely extraordinary you can tell they are happy to work their and it shows in every interaction from check in to retrieving your car. I'm so happy to get a chance to write this review as they were so helpful and I know everyone in my party would say the same.

What a Beautiful hotel. My fiance spent 20 minutes taking pics of the ceilings and decor. Gorgeous room, incredible view overlooking Saint Patrick's Cathedral. The staff was incredibly helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Heavenly beds, great showers, luxurious robes. Great Midtown location. 5 min walk to Rockefeller Center

You’ll have to pay for WiFi, and there’s no coffee in the rooms. Would have thought that both would be included for a 5-star hotel. Otherwise the rooms were really nice and the customer service was excellent. The location is also great - public transport options, close to Central Park and lots of shopping. We would stay here again.

Great location, beautiful hotel, and comfortable rooms. They have a few bar areas that offer a strong drink selection and different atmospheres. If you have a minute, check out their breakfast area, it is absolutely gorgeous. This hotel is also a fantastic value when you take into consideration the location, the rooms, the atmosphere, and overall level of service.

I didn't stay overnight so I can't speak to the rooms. I attended a magic show performance here by the millionaires magician. The interior of this hotel is luxuriously ornate and scream of a whole different time period I'm construction and design. All the surfaces are hand carved. The staff I interacted with were all very polite and helpful.

Went during Christmas. The decorations were awesome! Thin walls. Couldn't hear people talk next door but could hear water running and the blinds opening and closing. Bed could have been a little more soft.

I frequently stop in to the Lotte while walking around New York, and finally stayed there this year in The Towers part of the hotel and was pretty underwhelmed. The experience just didn't feel five star at all in the way of service, with front desk agents seemingly uninterested in providing a great experience. The room itself was nice, and a very good size for NY, but at this price (~500) I won't be back because of the service. I used to work in Vegas in similar VIP/high end parts of resorts and service like that would have never been tolerated. The person checking us in spent half the time talking to a colleague. The gym they had was pretty decent, but I also just found the lobby/property as a whole to be lacking. There was no grand area or place where you were left thinking "wow talk about luxury." The stairs in the front going up are beautiful but it is just such a compressed space, particularly in the check in area.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The lobby and gardens are decorated for Christmas and it looks amazing. The staff are very helpful & friendly. The hotel is in a great location. Close to Rockefeller, Central Park & Times Square, along with all other local attractions.

Awesome location, very friendly staff, the lobby is absolutely gorgeous. But I don’t think I will stay here again because I felt like the carpet in the room was exceptionally very dirty! The beds or weren’t that bad a lot of pillows which is cool . TV remote was difficult to maneuver but I guess that’s expected for hotels and of course the selection channels were limited . It’s definitely not an excellent hotel it’s just A good Hotel

Service from all excellent. Special bar of only the best of the best wonderful. Manager of that bar without equal. Banquet: at cocktail time food passed around was more than first class. Fresh shrimp were firm, perfect t to bite into, probably the finest shrimp of my almost 80 year life time.

As I was walking by this historic hotel, I stopped to take pictures. A gentleman employee, Maurice, was standing by the entrance and offered me a tour, because of my interest.

I was able to view several of the public rooms, and was amazed at the oppulence of this grand hotel!

Beautiful hotel, but don't leave anything behind in your room. I know it's my fault, but I forgot an item in the room. I called the hotel within a few hours of checking out and they said it wasn't there. I'm 100% certain I left it in the room and even know where I left it. Yes, it's entirely my fault, but I'd hope a hotel of this caliber and price would return belongings left behind if they're quickly reported. Live and learn. Check your room thoroughly before you check out! Otherwise, nice hotel although I agree with other reviewers that the price for breakfast is jaw dropping. Internet is an extra charge and beware that even looking at minibar items may trigger a charge. The room was nice, though, and the bed was comfortable.

Elegant hotel with big rooms, bar and restaurant on-site. Good walking to restaurants and shopping. Biggest problem is the NYC pricing, which is insanely high. Loved the hotel but if it wasn't a business trip and company booked, I wouldn't stay here.

The hotel itself is lovely, quiet, clean, and is exactly as advertised. The thing that stood out to me the most (as a former NYC resident and someone who travels to NYC often) most hotels, even the luxury ones, have an air of "you're welcome," impatience, and apathy. Everyone I encountered at Lotte were kind, attentive, capable, and accommodating. I was also impressed with Kingsly the bellman. He not only remembered me, but was available and accessible rather than pushy.

The bed was awesome and Christina our housekeeper was amazing. Other than that I was not very happy. If you touch the mini bar they charge you, and it censored which is creepy. And everything cost including the WiFi. The front desk lied to me a couple times about Airport pickup and free breakfast. If you want anything from this place you will have to pay. While you're in New York everything is really expensive and it really sucks when you have to pay even more money to be comfortable at your hotel. This place is expensive already, you shouldn't have to pay for the simple conveniences. We had to ask for a fridge and we didn't have a microwave. Cheap motels offer more free services then this hotel and the front desk isn't the friendliest. And beware, they have alcohol already in your room if you have kids or an addict and its very very expensive, even for the candy.

The hotel was nice. Modern, clean, well staffed. However we were given different stories by the staff about rides to the airport, the deposit, etc. They were apologetic but offered nothing to midigate the damage caused by false advertising. The housekeeper was wonderful 5 stars. Christina was very sweet and professional.

Love the staff of this Grand Hotel. It is convenient to just about everything. Rooms have great views of St. Patrick's and are fairly spacious.

Fantastic corner suite on the 45th floor. House car was able to drive us 20 blocks in any direction from the hotel - super convenient! We had some leaking a/c unit from the above floor and also some malfunctioning fridge and blinds, which took a while for the hotel to fix. They were nice and gave us a $100 credit for the inconvenience. Had scalp massage at the spa, would give it 3/5 stars - pretty mediocre experience although still achieved overall effect of relaxation which was nice. The location of the hotel was superb. Would stay again.

The NYC Palace employees are always more than happy to help in anyway - smiling -- happy - ready to help out with anything. The rooms are fantastic and the view is breathtaking (from the right room). I just can't say enough about this hotel.. light years ahead of the rest in terms of both their attitude and their attention to detail. I highly recommend the LOTTE NY PALACE.

We are in a lovely junior suite looking over St Patrick's Cathedral ...what could be better? Really comfy bed, the bath towels are luscious , the toiletries are Molten Brown ...I could go on and on. Stay here you won't be disappointed.. Oh and the location is so close to everything, one block from 5th ave. and Rockefeller Center.

This was our first stay at The Palace and we won't stay anywhere else in NYC. On top of the best location and beautiful rooms, the staff was out of this world. They knew the names of our children, served wonderful food, and they even carted our bags 2 blocks to the Uber when the streets were closed down for St. Patrick's day parade.

Great hotel. Large room two queen beds. Beds were wonderful. Good service great air conditioning. Very comfortable hotel near attractions. Front desk staff very helpful. Didn't try the bar. After a hectic day this is a great place to chill out with a cold glass of water.

We have stayed here several times and this was the first time we stayed in the Towers. We have always had great stays but the Towers were even better. This hotel really is as good as it gets! We loved our 3 night stay here. The staff was amazing! At check in, the lady who helped us was super attentive. I didn't realize she was completely paying attention to my 16 year old bubbling over with excitement that we were there to spend a long weekend to celebrate both her Sweet 16 and her Dad's birthdays. When we arrived to our room, she sent up an adorable stuffed bear, macaroons from the bakery for my daughter and a bottle of wine for my husband! We were so impressed! The room was lovely. The location is great! Our stay could not have been any more perfect! Thank you so much. I hope we can return someday.

My husband surprised me for my birthday with a trip to NYC and we stayed at the Towers at Lotte Palace. The room was spacious and clean. They left me a bottle of champagne and chocolates and cookies.

After a problem we had, which was not on the part of the hotel, the staff was able to assist with a quick and positive resolution. The front desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful and we are grateful to the management staff. I would recommend this hotel.

This is a good value hotel in New York if you get a deal. The rooms are huge with dressing rooms and well appointed bathroom with walk in showers.

Concierge was average and had mixed experiences and the hotel car was never available (tried 5 times).

A colleague was incorrectly charged for a previous guests valet which he was lucky to spot on the bill.

Hotel porters lost my luggage on checkout for land took a panicked 20 minutes to locate it which wasn't a good experience - they were pretty useless and I would never leave my stuff in their care again.

The Towers at Lotte Palace are truly five-star accommodations! After a very disappointing night at The Benjamin down the street, we changed hotels to the Lotte Palace. I checked in at 10AM and asked them to hold my bag, as I knew the room would not be ready that early in the day. We stayed the day before Christmas Eve....
