The room was comfortable, clean, and modern. All great pluses. Negatives would be an mildly uncomfortable bed, and an AC that struggled with the more humid conditions. Still a great hotel.

The staff is excellent, as well as the rooms. Our experience here has always been great! Highly recommend it to anyone!

Good service, nice room. My only gripe...the parking..you had to park about a tenth or so of a mile away. Good exercise, but with 106 temp outside its a rough walk and a little bit creepy in the dark.

When I first got here the staff was just a touch snippy and were being short with me. They asked me if I was on their rewards program. I told them I wasnt sure. They told me to look it up by myself later. I asked if they could look me up right there. They said they can and proceeded to not do that and i got tired pressing the issue. They were not busy at the time, but I shrugged it off.
The door to the room seemed to barely fit the frame? Lots of light pouring in from the edges and you can hear plainly any noise from the hallway.
Trains pass by regularly along the SE side of the hotel, which doesn't bother me at all but might bother some light sleepers.
When I first got to my room there were a few ants scattered about scouting for something but I didn't see anything, didn't have food on me, and there wasnt enough for me to bother asking to change rooms. Did not see a single one the next morning. Saw other reviews complain about cleanliness though. Ants might possibly stem from that.
Bathroom was clean, a bit dated but you could see there has been work to modernize it. It is functional.
I tend to use hotel shampoo and soap to spare my travel supply. Hotel toiletries tend to not be great, but the shampoo and soap here were particularly terrible. That's never stood out to me before, but it did here.

Overall, this is an above average place to stay. There are worse places. It's right on the boardwalk, the room decor is comfy and looks nice, and the room rate wasnt bad at the time.

The proximity to the Louisiana Boardwalk is awesome. The hotel was clean, and very modern. The doors on the rooms need to be fixed a bit, but all in all my one night stay was very much enjoyed.

The staff here is incredibly nice. The bistro and market is a wonderful added touch. The yogurt and granola bowl is exactly what I wanted for breakfast and the Starbucks fixed my coffee perfectly. Nothing like a perfect breakfast for business travel! It's also located right on the boardwalk so you can fit in some quick shopping and walking distance to a free restaurants and the red River. This will be my place to come every time I'm on business!

Really nice location on the river. The Boardwalk is right next door with lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel has a small cafe and also a well equipped "pantry" with food and drink. Rooms are clean and spacious. The bathrooms have nice size tubs. They are also equipped with a little coffee maker and a small fridge. No microwave. The pool area is small bit verynice with a fire pit.

Perfect place to put a hotel. Close to casinos and shop... walking distance. The room are fairly updated but we paid a lot for the room and I did find a roach in the bathroom. When you pay as much as we did it would be nice not to find that. I am sure we will be back as it is perfect for friends to stay and play.

This place was great! Super clean with many upgrades, awesome location, great view of the river, cool lobby area. I was really impressed and can't believe there are any negative reviews on here!

Nice location right off the Louisiana Boardwalk, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and attractions. Staff is very nice and friendly. Incidentally, Main downside is also its location. It is right next to an active (quite active) railroad track that passes within a couple of feet of the hotel, so depending on which side of the hotel you're on (and how sensitive you are to noise) you may have a very disruptive stay.

Gym is spacious and roomy with ellipticals, treadmills and free weights. Pool is outdoors.

We got there early Monday morning (5am) and checked out Tuesday morning. Heather was very nice and check in was quick. Lady in the breakfast cafe was awesome.

Stayed in room 158 on the first floor which had double queen beds. The hotel is right by the boardwalk for a short journey which was a plus, but the hotel is also right next to an active train track. Room was big and good beds. We had some bugs in the room which included a spider and fire ants in the bathroom. Wall outlets for charging were loose. Could not use the outlets next to the bed lights because the prongs on my phone charger would fall out.

On the board walk. My room overlooks the Merry go round then out onto the Red River. The room was great. The price reasonable. The pool and hot tub last night was a nice experience before returning to the room.

Visited for a meeting. Rooms were clean and well kept. Location is excellent for shopping the boardwalk. Great access to casinos and restaurants.

2 QUEEN room. Excellent parking, wonderful bistro inside the hotel with Starbucks Coffee. Plush bedding, great shower. The hotel is situated on the boardwalk, literally walking distance to some excellent shopping. Personally not a gambler, but it is walking distance to one casino, and several others in the general area.

Only thing going for this hotel is the location and friendly staff. The in room amenities are dated, no freezer or microwave, bed is not very comfortable and HVAC temp regulation is terrible. I would only stay here if doing a large multi day shopping trip at the boardwalk.

Great hotel, little cafe in the lobby was great for breakfast. Room was beautiful and very clean. Can't beat the location either! Walked to all the shops and restaurants, we will stay here again!

The customer service from the start was so phenomenal, I let the proximity to the train tracks rate as a mere blip on the inconvenience scale. The lobby was a joy and my room was so comfortable and inviting. Was the price point up due to the Thanksgiving/ Black Friday weekend? Most definitely, but it was the best sleep I had had in a very long time and will certainly stay here again.

The rooms are the worst. We paid for a suite. The carpets have stains, the bed feels as though your sleeping on a plywood board with padding over it. Our tv did not work, so no satellite all night. It is in a very nice location, but I would recommend looking elsewhere. As a rewards holder, I been to a few Marriott hotels and this is by far not their best!

Everything about this hotel was greatness. All the employees that we encountered were accommodating and friendly. The manager, David, was so very nice. David walked around and greeted everyone with a smile in the dining area for breakfast. He really went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Another employee, Lindsay, was also very helpful and welcoming. I believe she was a newer employee, but definitely a keeper. This hotel is literally in the perfect location, right on the boardwalk. The breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious and very comfortable. My family and I will be staying here anytime we come back to Bossier/Shreveport, with no hesitation.

First, the sofa bed is not a typical sofa bed. It is more of a chair bed. I booked a 1 king with sofa bed for 4 adults. I immediately knew that the sofa bed would not work for us. The staff was friendly and immediately transfered us to a 2 queen room. I paid $175 for one night thinking that I was staying in one of the BEST hotels in Shreveport/Bossier, but boy was I disappointment. There were only 3 pillows on each queen bed, the bathroom door was dirty, stains on the floor in the bathroom, red stains (looked like blood) on one of the bath towels, the iron was raggedy and pointless, the list of deficiencies can go on and on. My family checked in around 11pm and left around 9am so thankfully we didn't have to spend much time in the room. I have pictures of our filthy room and I wanted to speak with the manager, but my husband did his best to calm me down. My stress level was high due to being in town for my grandmother's funeral and this crappy hotel was a huge disappointment. I will never stay at another Courtyard Marriott.

Our stay was very pleasant aside from the beds. Not used to such a firm mattress. But don't let that ruin your idea of this place. The breakfast, although not free, is absolutely delicious!

Rooms were beautiful - a lot more expensive than I'm used to, though. The bed was a little bit too firm for me, but I'm picky about that. Lovely altogether, except that we had a handicapped accessible room, and the shower curtain was hung too far into the shower. It was touching me during my entire shower. Pesky.

Absolutely had the best time ever! Loved the convenience of everything and the way it was set up as if it was it's own small town. Can't wait to go back|
