Never disappointed with Ibis over the world due to its simplicity, efficiency and value for me.
I would like to say thanks to the room service staff members who manage to keep the rooms spotless and also for their polite and courteous manner.
Thanks also to the front desk staff and breakfast staff for their approachability and friendliness.
Management clearly picked the right people for the job. Well done all!

Room was clean but curtain didn’t fit the window do couldn’t draw it all the way across. A bit dated and tired in decor. Nice little touch with the complimentary mini chocolate on the bed. Bed was comfortable so slept well.

We went for a weekend as a group of 4, the staff were very accommodating and the hotel was clean and breakfast hits the mark. What I most liked about it was although it was full, there was no noise. Thanks to you and your staff, we had a great time

Excellent location. We didn't use any transport to visit the city, we went on foot everywhere. There were some things that needed to be fixed in our room...but they just fixed one. Breakfast could be better and with more variety. There are cool free services in the hotel ( magazines, hot drinks, etc).

The hotel was well situated for the city centre. We found that the Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and although nothing fancy was fine for the price with a very comfy bed and good shower. Free breakfast was included, although it might seem a bit churlish, the quality of sausages was, as other reviewers have said, very poor. Also I have not had worse scrambled egg at a hotel. Something very welcome is the free hot drinks machines which produce very good coffees, hot milk and chocolate. There is parking for the hotel in the basement which although charged is a big plus.
All in all recommended, but please address the quality of cooked food at breakfast. Other budget chains have upped their game in this department so don't lag behind!

Fair price for decent accommodation which is clean. Breakfast is nothing to shout about but they do have Gluten free bread.

Rooms were as anticipated, as advertised, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and services offered are above standard. Breakfast offers variety, free beverages all day. Great value.

Parking not clearly marked or advertised by hotel. If you discover this on the day, you risk a parking fine whilst going on to ask where you should park. Car park address should be part of check in instructions.

Clean, comfortable, welcoming staff and great food service. Recommend you pay this hotel a visit. For a budget hotel the service is on par of the more upmarket hotels and the cost of a room is very affordable.

Simple nice hotel at a decent rate. I had to give it 4 stars based on a negative experience with dodgy Wi-Fi from O2 with marginal Skype performance. However very helpful and considerate staff.

Good basic hotel. Comfy clean bed, tea/coffee making facilities in room with a mini Chocolate bar left on your pillow - nice touch. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic but good.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. Good location for lots of attractions all in walking distance. Clean comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff particularly on reception and an adequate breakfast. On site parking too. I recommend you try it

The accommodation was fine, some of the staff need to learn the meaning of hospitality and as for the breakfast! Shocking! The croissants and pastries tasted like feet! And just because you serve croissants doesn't class it as a continental breakfast, and at around £10 each quite frankly you would be better off going pretty much anywhere else

Loved our stay, basic but great value for money. Location was good under 10 mins walk from the centre, room was clean well equipped and the bed was comfortable & the room was also quiet. Breakfast was more than adequate. If I'm visiting Birmingham anytime soon I would have no hesitation staying here again.

Not a good stay. Expensive room rate (as per UK standard) and you get a really bad service. Parking is on the back inside a hotel from the same group, however there's no sign that it's also the parking for the ibis. Room was quite basic, with some minor flaws (e.g. no power socket close to the bed). In the shower I found some cleansing lotion container left over from the previous customer - probably little attention during room room cleaning.
Breakfast was terrible. Small buffet, little choice, and before daring to try the Ham I had to look at it twice as it wasn't really dry. Very low level of service during checkout - ladies were unfriendly and not professional at all: another customer was told they do not book taxis.

What to say. Expensive and a level of service you don't get even in the worst hostels.

While the price was good, there were some serious deficiencies. First, my partner and I wanted to sleep in the same bed, but somehow, the full size (queen) bed and the sofa bed were pulled out and made. I didn't need the sofa bed. I had to put it up to walk around in the room. When I did, I noticed how disgusting the area was under the pull out bed. Also, the soap dispenser in the shower was broken, so I had to fix that one. Then breakfast was horrible. I know it's free, but the quality of everything was just lacking in every way. Barely anything there and no variety. Just a bit disappointed and will not return.

Excellent venue for our training day. Accessible location as people were travelling from all over the country. Great facilities and very clean. Tea, coffee available all the time. Provided projector, flip chart etc. Great communications through booking process and would use again, thank you.

Really nice and clean hotel. Very very friendly and accommodating staff who were willing to bend over backwards for you! My girlfriend and I used this hotel for a night during the Christmas Markets and would highly recommend it to anyone ☺

This is a great hotel. I use it for gigs at the arena as it's 5 minutes walking distance, but it's about the same from Birmingham town centre. It's great value, clean and tidy with a car park at the back under the hotel, they do charge £13 for 24 hours in this which I think is well worth it.
The staff at the hotel are always helpful and polite and I would stay in this hotel anytime I needed to be in Birmingham.

Booked as a birthday treat. Lovely helpful staff, clean basic room with excellent shower. Breakfast included, continental buffet style with plenty to choose from. Coffee machine serving free coffee/hot water for tea 24/7.

Good value for money. Good location. Very friendly and helpful staff. We missed a cooked breakfast if anything. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower very good.

Conveniently located hotel for Birmingham city centre and within 12 minutes walk of New Street station. As such, well positioned for events at the arena and the NEC. Simple rooms with tea and coffee making facilities. Continental breakfast available to set you up for the day ahead. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean friendly hotel, car parking straight into the hotel . Breakfast served for a decent amount of time. Recommend this as it's also very good value for money!

Cheap cheerful accommodation for when there's a gig in town, rooms of decent size​ and beds comfy.
Free breakfast is simple and filling.

Hotel is generally clean and suitable for an overnight guest. On arrival we had booked a twin room and had to wait for about 40 minutes for the room to be ready at 4pm which was a little disappointing, however, we were offered a free drink while we waiting which was a nice gesture that other places wouldn't always offer! Room okay, clean and tidy and all the usual. Good shower and clever designed bathroom area to maximize room size. Parking underground at £13 overnight which is about the same everywhere in the centre. Expensive but there we go! Breakfast is a continental style but limited and not exactly inspiring. Also a bit disappointing. All the staff we can across were pleasant and helpful and were a credit to the hotel.

Nice rooms and great location. Only gripe was the plug sockets not being next to the bed. #FirstWorldProblem

Not at all bad for an Ibis in Birmingham. Walking distance to pretty much the whole of the city centre. Comfortable rooms.

Not going to complain, it was a budget hotel but I have to say it was clean, staff were young but still friendly, a ever basic continental breakfast. Car par expensive but secure as closed after 11pm with security monitoring.

Painfully difficult to get wifi. They require the guest to join an outside providers hotspot service that is a lengthy sign up process. It means each family member must sign up individually. It did not work on my computer, and when we finally got it working on my phone it was very slow. I wont stay at another ibis hotel for this reason.

Staff helpful. Room adequately clean and appointed for the price. Location is not bad

Was only there to drop someone off, but had a look at their room. It seemed fairly spacious and overall clean. The person at the desk was very helpful: made tea, went and got a menu from the place next door, and also offered to change the room from a twin to a double since they cost the same and only one person was staying.

Not the greatest but the rooms have all you need and the beds are very comfy. Breakfast is very basic, a little disappointing and don't attempt to do any work using the Wi-Fi, it's terrible. Tried multiple times to login in from different devices. Eventually got one phone online but it was so slow it was unusable.

We attended meeting room 4 for an... Er... Event (it was a stag do.) The bar was open outside the normal hours to accommodate us, good staff

Checking in and out were both friendly and knowledgeable. Smiling welcoming faces and helpful attitudes are the norm here. Rooms are great - they're both clean and comfortable. Can't fault this place.

Close to the Bull Ring and Broad Street. Staff were very friendly and the room was spotless. Breakfast was OK. Really liked that they gave you complimentary use of the coffee machine(had all types of coffee including hot chocolate) and juice machine. I would definitely stay here again.

A clean an friendly hotel within walking distance of city centre and train station. Restaurants close by. Rooms were reasonably priced considering the location.

Very good hotel, clean + modern facilities and centrally located. Few minor complaints, 'breakfast' included no hot food, no bedside plugs (why do hotels still insist on doing this?!), finally parking is extortionate at £13!! There's a car park around the corner for £6/24 hours and on street parking in the area is free on Sundays.

The rooms are basic, but we'll presented and functional. Good value all round. The breakfast is basic, but served a purpose!

Lovely stay. Had everything neccessary from great customer service so a lovely breakfast in the morning. Not far from the centre either. Would recommend to others.

Nice comfy bed. Clean room. My only issues where: everything I touched fell apart soap dispenser, kettle, bedside lamp etc.
Breakfast was a disappointment wish I never got out of bed. The staff where really friendly and helpful however we asked for extra pillows... it took them about 4 hours which was real inconvenient cuz we had assumed they had forgot and I was balls deep in the mrs when they knocked.

A great location with secure parking. Friendly staff. A stones throw from the canal and a fairly short walk to Brindley Place. A very nice pub next door. Ticked all the boxes for me.

Decent area to relax in the lobby with a free coffee machine which definitely improved our stay. Head over there if you're looking for a cheap place to stay in central Birmingham (Just a few minutes walk from the Barclaycard arena).

It was OK. The room was clean if a little cramped with the bed and the sofa working as a bed.
The beds were not made very well and we had to remake the bed itself.
That said it was a great location and the room was quiet and clean.

The hotel is in a nice location, and staff are really friendly. We were provided with our room card, and headed upstairs. The room smelt like smoke, which was disappointing as it is a non smoking hotel, and we do not smoke. We were unable to open the windows, so my partner sprayed his aftershave in an attempt to get rid of the smell. I went into the bathroom, and one of the towels on the rack had brown marks on, and the toilet was clogged with tissue. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a great nights sleep. The following day we went downstairs for breakfast, I only had toast as there was no soya milk, and the hotel only provide continental breakfast, which left my choices limited. I will not rush to stay here again.

Have just got back from staying at this ibis styles hotel and I can not recommended it highly enough. All the receptionist were polite and looked after all are needs especially Daisy who when we came back at 10.30pm very cold made us a hot chocolate to take to are room.The rooms were clean and welcoming and the continental breakfast was more than adequate I will definitely be back to stay again 😊

I like that hotel. It is nice, modern, clean.
And it is close to center and far enough for a nice hike at the channels.

Good stay. Smart rooms and comfortable bed. Perfect location for our needs. Only spoiled by the fire alarm sounding, but at least it wasn't the middle of the night, it was 9am. Also a minor moan: the water pressure in the shower, on the top floor, was a bit weedy. Otherwise a good stay, good price, good location.

Was a last - minute stay. Having had no items of dental hygiene taken with me, they were happy to provide complimentary ones. Saved me a trip to the shops!

Lovely staff, room was nice and modern, but dusty and shower pressure was terrible. Morning breakfast was not amazing, no warm for such as eggs or bacon, just bread, cornflakes and muffins really. But for the price of £45 it was a bargain

Zimmer war Ibis typisch klein aber fein, d.h. sauber, modern und bequem. Frühstück ist überschaubar, reicht aber völlig für den Start in den Tag. Stadtzenztrum, New Street und Bullring sind bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Very good location. Clean and comfortable. The rooms are quite big. Otherwise, the breakfast is a little bit poor. I enjoyed a lot our visit to Birmingham with a group of friends.

The hotel was in a great location and the room was big enough with decent furnishings. However, the sofa bed for my daughter was a bit rickety. The service was excellent and the decor in general was good. The addition of a children's toy area in reception was lovely. Breakfast is continental but tasty although the croissants could have been of a better quality, ideally fresh. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location, perfect size room with a good size tv, not the usual 14 inch pathetic one. Breakfast was an all you can eat continental one, which was nice. Car park wasn't included in the price, but was very convenient as under the hotel. Would stay there again.

Stayed for one night in August , clean , quite , girl on reception Lucy was wonderful , could not do enough for us .

I was served on reception by Leah and Jared. They were very friendly Very helpful with all the questions I asked. The room was modern and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Great price and breakfast was included too.
