Great place to stay! They are so helpful and work with you. Always nice. I always bring my Irish Setter dog and they all pet him and love on him. They really make your stay nice. Plus the rooms are clean clean clean..the beds are super soft and the indoor pool is wonderful. If you are thinking of staying here, just do it. 😊

We had a wonderful stay. The suite was spacious, clean and equipped with everything that my girls and needed. The staff was kind, courteous and quick to help. I will definitely stay there again in the near future.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet is well stocked and has a variety of choices like eggs and waffles. The room lock malfunctioned on our first room, but the replacement room was fine.

The night shift front desk receptionist Courtney was extremely helpful, and courteous making our stay very comfortable. The rooms were nice, price was fair, combine that with Courtney’s hospitality and we will definitely be back and recommend this place to friends and family.

Convenient location off Interstate 80 with easy access to Stroudsburg and the Poconos activities. We stayed in a King Suite which was very comfortable and so was the bed. The excercise equipment in the fitness room is old and doesn't work great. There was trash around the edges of the parking lot and on the property which had been there for a while. Our kitchen sink had food in it from the last guest and the refrigerator was not clean. The staff told us at check in that we would have to move rooms after the first night because we were booked wrong or we had to downgrade our room. When we said we didnt want to she said that the 800 number on the website isn't them we should have called the hotel directly. It was a disappointing stay for a moderately priced hotel. Hope your stay goes better

This is a great hotel and a really beautiful area. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful in every aspect. But for me personally I give this place 5 stars for Purvi . She is one of the nicest people I have ever met, and the work she does for breakfast is beyond any expectations. The 5:30 happy hour is my favorite part of my stay and once again Purvi is the one who makes this happen. She is the best and I will definitely be staying here again.

Great location. Hotel staff was super nice. Fresh cookies in the lobby. Decent breakfast spread. The pool feels like a hottub which is great after skiing! Definitely recommend this place.

Needed a room in a pinch midway through a long said trip. The room was decent enough- the pull out couch had holes in the fabric and the closet and bathroom area looked like someone had a fight with the fixtures and lost. Pet friendly.

Anyway we only needed to rest out heads so we didn't care. The bedding was good (I always check for bugs- you never know) and our 'neighbors' were not loud. Tried to go to the pool but it was crowded so skipped that instead. The room has a kitchenette so if you expect to cook you're in for a treat. Drawback is the one and only (SLOW) elevator that pets and housekeeping staff also use. Something to note if you have dander allergies. Gets stuffy fast.

Breakfast was disappointing, however. Went down at 6:30am and there was no juice available. A gentleman next to me said this was his third night and they had no juice since he checked in either. Fruit selections could have been fresher, and they ran out of plates when we got ready to make our waffles. Hot cocoa packets ran out too. Tea, coffee and creamer was available. Ended up getting Greek yogurt which the kids couldn't enjoy as that was the only offering. We ended up leaving for Triplets diner for an enjoyable breakfast before we hit the road again.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for the Christmas weekend.

Pros:
Location. This hotel is close to resorts like Great Wolf Lodge, Camelback Lodge, etc.
Clean room.
Nice kitchen.
Good morning breakfast.
Good service. Friendly staff

Cons:
No bathtub. And no glass partition or anything like that separates the bath area from the rest of the bathroom. This can make bathroom wet.
Luke warm water from the bath shower. (last thing you want on a cold winter day.)

Only one elevator and it is also very slow.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The place seemed pretty well updated as well, with a nice common area. Breakfast was usually ready before I left in the morning around 630. Dinner was also served several times a week. My only complaint was that they could have had more sound proofing for the rooms. One of the neighboring suites had a dog, and it I could very clearly hear it whimpering for quite some time after the owner left.

We had a nice time here, the rooms are big (we had a two bedroom suite with full kitchen and living room) and are decently priced. The two woman who helped us each time at the front desk were very nice and accommodating... we even got fresh baked cookies !

Another plus.. free breakfast and three days a week they host a free dinner for the guests in the eating area, with a tap and wine too.

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and cozy, and there's a social hour Monday through Wednesday with free food and beer/wine. There is also a workout area and free hot breakfast! I've had some underwhelming breakfasts at hotels, and I've also had great ones that cost $20. Staybridge serves a nice one, and all-day tea and coffee, with no extra charge. My husband and I had a lovely stay here.

Staff is great, the facilities are new and clean, and their free breakfast is awesome. The suite is fantastic for the price. They also do a 'social' dinner meal with complimentary beer and wine during the week. Definitely a great place to stay, and a really good location - right between the Bushkill Falls area and downtown Stroudsburg.

Hotel was great, food was good. Laundry was lacking, took 3 tries for clothes to finally dry. Rough getting out of the parking lot in the morning.

People are nice and warm. It looks like the room was vacant for a while because it was kind of dusty. My wife is kind off clean freak.

Husband and I walked into the room and noticed the curtains on both sides were not attached. Couch had a 3 inch tear in it. Shower curtain looked like it had mold on the bottom. No soap or shampoo products. The bathroom needed a good cleaning. Had to pay 179.00 for the night and I can say we have stayed places half the price and were a lot cleaner. Do not mind old but needs to look and be clean. Also elevator was broke and they put us on the third floor.

Breakfast was good and I enjoy the happy hour at 5pm. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the layout. I actually did not mind being on the first floor, despite always requesting for rooms on upper levels.

Nice room, poor sound insulation to neighboring room, woken at 6 am by dumpster service under window. Extensive free breakfast bar, but run of the mill overall.

Room was great, included coffee, tea, and a complementary bag of popcorn. Channel selection was reasonable. Check-in/out was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly.

Front desk receptionist was very welcoming upon arrival. Hotel was neat and clean as well as the room. We stayed in a studio suite. The staff invited us to the evening social were we got the chance to meet with the our guests. I also worked out in their gym which was opened 24 hrs. We're planning on going back soon, but this time we'll be bringing the family and since it's a dog friendly hotel, we'll be bringing our dog too.

I like the Staybridge, and stay there every time I work in the Poconos, which is about 4-5 times per year. My staff stays there too. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. They have a continental breakfast in the morning and complimentary drinks in the afternoon. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. From my understanding, this hotel is the best to stay at in the area and has the most to offer. I rated it a three star because my room is usually on the warm side (air often has issues), and during my last stay my water/shower in the morning was luke warm at best (every morning). I think there was a problem with the hot water heater. I will say that the staff did come to my room to help with the temperature. In all fairness I didn't complain to them about the water.

Stayed in suite with the family.. hotel is clean and management and the workers are very helpful. Breakfast has all the basics and is included with every stay. I like the location because it's only few thousand feet from I-80.

The place is clean , staff has always been very pleasant and helpful. I always have a pleasant stay at the staybridge , its my home away from home.

From check-in my stay was pleasant and the staff was very helpful . The location is good for easy access from and to route 80 and is a little away from the busy shopping and vacationing crowd. The room was clean and spacious, at least spacious enough for our stay. Overall our stay was pleasant

Location is great but the service here is lackluster.. no turndown service, no towel replacement, no daily house keeping coupled with wear and tear makes this place a 3 star in my eyes..

More than expected when we arrived. Well accommodated. Spacious. Breakfast was nice. Very affordable.

Lets say the rating is somewhere in between 5 and 4 stars. Compared to other places in the area this place stands out as newer and a bit higher quality. Very close to Delaware Water gap National Park which is a major plus.

Room was great along with the service. The complementary breakfast was good, could have been better. Sausage was dry and egg were liquid from a box.

Our family stayed Monday- Thursday for one last adventure before I go back to school. Our room was fully equipped and even had a kitchen which was great for the kids. They had a light dinner Monday to Wednesday which was nice. The lady who did breakfast Tina was nice, helpful and smiling. She has a little girl and was playing with my twins and keeping them entertained while we grabbed food. The place was decent for the price and area. It's not the ritz Carlton but it also doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

It is a shame to see what our society has become. Upon reading Mr Glen's two similar reviews I was at the hotel with my family and in fact am still here checking out on Monday. I was in the business center right around the desk area during the early wee hours as my husband stayed with the baby in the room to put him back to sleep. I heard "f you" loudly, walked towards the front area and see a couple where the lady is cursing the gentleman behind the desk multiple times. He in fact asked the guest to please stop. I stood there in case he needed help and kept hearing the lady go off on him non stop with the f word and all he said calmly was he has to report to his manager what she is requesting and she goes off on him again demanding her money.
It is a shame that profanity had to be used by the lady not a care of other guests in the area. In fact the gentleman is such a pleasant man that he offered if I needed coffee or anything when I was downstairs buying time and he was always at the desk area. What the lady and the man who wrote the review GLEN CAPELLE failed to mention is the amount of f you she said to him and name calling they did to the staff.
It is a shame to see one of a different ethinicity Asian background be treated so poorly while just doing his job and saying he would fill a report to his manager. No one person should be spoken to like the lady did to him.
Our stay thus far has been pleasant with each staff we see including the housekeepers always smiling. I believe they prejudiced against this one hotel staff working hard because he is an elder gentleman and because he was of an Asian background and not the other way around with no care who was around the hotel and continuously using their profanity language, I'm grateful this was overnight as there are children during the day.

It is a very nice place and very clean I must admit. However, the pictures we saw on line were deceiving in the sense that we thought we were going to get a room that looked that way and when we arrived it was a studio not a suite and it claimed to have a queen size bed which i doubt that was true. The bed was small. My wife and I kept knocking into each other during the night and she had a very difficult have a good nite sleep.
We have a queen size bed at home and we have plenty space between us so that bed was not a queen size as they stated. Then they served breakfast. My wife said the eggs and sausage patties were cold and we had to reheat in microwave. Although they had a tremendous variety of breakfast items. We were sadden. Our stay was not what we expected it to be for the price we paid. We travel quite a bit and have stood in other hotels much better than this place for the price. Also they forgot to mention a very important detail upon reservation and registration. It was that they charge an extra $200.00 as an incidental charge in the event any incidents happen or accidents upon your stay. You do get the money back upon discharge but that is not the case. It was $200 extra we could have used for our vacation stay and that was very upsetting. They said it was only a pending charge but my bank actually withdrew the whole amount. They do not know how much a person comes with in terms of money for a vacation and have no right to charge that amount without letting a person know upon registration. Had i known, I would have never stayed here. I would not recommend this place to anyone. For the money i paid, I and all of you can do better staying somewhere else.

I had read a lot of reviews after booking about staff not being very welcoming. This must have changed since those reviews were left. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had 0 issues with my stay. Hotel was very quiet. I stayed from saturday into sunday. Good breakfast selection. Large room. The only reason im not leaving 5 stars was because of the room itself. Though it was clean, it could have used some improvements. Carpet was slightly torn up near kitchen tile. Used coffee pack left in coffee maker. Some furniture worn. Too be honest, this did not bother me too much. My stay was worth what I paid.

I stayed here on business the last week of August. My room wasn't ready (housekeeping didn't finish putting in towels) when I arrived at 5pm, but Joanne at the front desk made sure I had towels before I got to my room. The kitchenette area in the suites was very convenient and easy to use. The guest laundry had 4 washer and dryers, instead of the standard 2 I'm used to seeing.
I did request late check-out upon check-in, but was told they couldn't extend beyond 1pm due to housekeeping hours, however housekeeping was usually there past 5pm. So instead, midweek I requested to extend my stay from Friday to Saturday and the front desk didn't have a computer available, but took down the request and reset my key card and said I was set. I still received my bill the night before my original checkout and the next morning even I asked the front desk I was told my stay hadn't been entered and they were completely booked. After speaking with their manager they were able to accommodate me and very apologetic.
For business travelers this place is wonderful during the week, with a relaxing evening social midweek and standard breakfast every morning. Starting Friday mid-day it starts to get loud, due to the type of guests and no reflection on the hotel itself. Families with children start to arrive, running up and down halls, being loud at breakfast, and awkwardly and inconveniently trying to serve themselves making it hard to get out.
While I won't be spending any weekends here, this was by far the nicest non-resort hotel in the area and if I do have to stay in Stroudsburg again, I will definitely choose this place for that wonderful welcoming and at-home feeling.

We recently stayed in a 1 bedroom suite (2 adults, 2 children). Our stay was exactly as expected. This isn't a fancy hotel, nor is it a hole in the ground. This is a nice in between with amenities you wouldn't find at some hotels. Breakfast is included each morning and I was pleasantly surprised at what was available. Fresh fruit, coffee, bagels, oatmeal with topping options, waffle bar, yogurt, eggs, cereal bar, and more. It was nice to conveniently grab breakfast before heading off. The kitchenette was perfect for our needs and made eating while travelling with kids a breeze. The pool is tiny (and cold) but the kids had a blast. The location of the hotel is perfect. We were 5-20 minutes from all the places we wanted to visit. The staff was really nice and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and decently sized for a family of four. We would definitely stay at another Staybridge Suite.
