Staff is friendly and attentive. Rooms are small. Cost is competitive for a good location. Restaurants are very good and cigar room is excellent.

Location is so easy, 5 minute walk to the train station. Beautiful walk along the river to the lake. Right across from the hotel is a bridge to a park and an area where your can jump into the water for a swim.

Absolutely loved our stay! Our room had a great view of the mountains, city skyline, and river. The river was populated with people swimming, diving off the bridge, and walking on straps extended across the river. It looked so fun that we joined the crowd. What a great way to spend the afternoon.

This is a really nice hotel. The whole place feels high end and is well kept. The staff are really attentive. The location is nice. The rooms feel modern while the halls have a tasteful mix of modern and historical. The elevators are super fast. The thai restaurant is fantastic. The concierge can happily make reservations for meals or tours and easily provides recommendations. This is not a cheap hotel but it is worth the price. The views are very nice as well. The location is very close to the train station and about a 10 minute walk along the river. My only criticism would be the TVs and bathrooms. The bathrooms are a bit small but fully functional. The TV is adversarial. We found channels like BBC1 not working and attempts to use the menu or program guide would lead to the TV freezing and powering off. This was frustrating as we attempted to watch World Cup matches. (If the World Cup were not on, we never would have noticed this problem and would have been out in the city.) Overall, a great hotel in a great city.

Nice location..10 mins walk from main station and 15 mins walk to all the restaurants. Excellent service. M lounge is upgraded and serves good breakfast buffet and evening snacks & drinks. This is one of my favorite Marriott properties in the world.

Stayed here twice. Service, cleaningness are great. Location is pretty good. Not too much to do in the immediate vicinity but quick walk you’ll find plenty to do - 7 minutes to central train station, 10 minutes to university and old town, 15 minutes walk to Lake.

Plush rooms. Friendly staff. The first three floors above the ground floor are dedicated to conferences and there can substantial traffic in the lobby and elevators from the attendees. The concierge lounge is quite nice and convenient. There is an ambulance station near by and light sleepers should put on some background noise and you can be assured of a sound nights sleep. The train station is a short walk away and downtown is just another five minute walk further.

A very friendly Marriott with a great bar and smashing Thai restaurant. Be sure to have the lobster red curry and sticky rice and then enjoy the spectacular views of Zurich from cosy modern rooms that are serious Sparkly clean.

Great hotel. The breakfast at the hotel is the best Marriott hotel breakfast I have ever had. Don't miss the Swiss meat ball. It is expensive but everything in Switzerland is expensive.

Impressed with service of the hotel. We encountered a crazy guest staying next door to us (she started banging our door without warning just cause she can hear us talking; the room has an interconnecting door which causes the soundproof to be poor so I'm not even sure if the lady realizes it). We were promptly upgraded by front office, Toni, to another room without an interconnecting door so it worked out better for us anyway. Room was very clean and room service always ensures your room is well equipped everyday. Breakfast choices was also just nice, right amount of selection and more importantly tasty. The location of the hotel is also conveniently near to the main station. We had a great vacation staying here thanks for the great staff at Zurich Marriott, highly recommended!

Top notch service. Excellent food, comfortable room, accommodating and friendly staff made this the perfect stay in Zurich. Ask for Teese or Natalia behind the lobby bar. Great, great service.

Hotel is very elegant, dinner was acceptable, I feel that price and quality relation is bad, I got pasta and it was not that good and I paid 60 CHF total including tip, for the pasta two bottles of water, apple juice and a cappuccino. By the other hand, service is really good

We went there for sunday brunch. They lined up the tables very tight to each other with kids running everywhere so that you had to be very careful you don't clash with them or others between tightly arranged tables or people clash on the back of you while you are sitted and would like to calmfully eat and chat with your friends. Food was good. Sushis and desserts are always good there.

The rooms are OK. Beds extremely uncomfortable. Room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was very good here as was the Thai restaurant.

This hotel is blocks from the central train station and has a nice view of the city and water. The rooms are modern and well kept and the level of service is in line with what you would expect at a Marriott hotel.

Can I give more than five stars? Amazing hotel, perfect location, great staff. Front desk were friendly and polite. Markus at guest services was lovely and very helpful and sweet. The rooms were clean and quiet with great decor and views. Aly that checks mini bar was so sweet too. The food is delicious! You have to try the mariott burger, so good. Would definitely come back again anytime I'm in zurich and would also recommend it to people I know.

Very close walking distance to the train station, about a mile from the main area of Zurich. Nice hotel. Concierge lounge had decent food all day.

Come to Zurich regularly, but don't normally stay here, normally at crown plaza. Rooms are spacious. But was amazed to find no swimming pool! Major draw back for me. Especially given their rates. Never been to Marriot that doesn't have one. Staff courtesy and help is average.

The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious. The staff were very kind and friendly.

The kids room was so untidy, there was a tv for PlayStation2 but the tv was broken. The chairs were wet, there was 2 computers but one didn't work. There was no staff there. The coloring pencils were unsharpened and the coloring pages had scribbles on them. There was a photo about the children's room but it was exactly the opposite. The entrance was free.

Extremely well located , professional service and with stunning views , the Zurich Marriott hotel is a short drive from the airport and a picturesque walk to the centre of the city. The WiFi is effective and the food at the restaurant is tasty. Perfect place for business and leisure.

Hotel located really close to the main train station and the center of Zurich. The rooms are spacious and clean. The personnel is also very helpful. The breakfast was ok, really nice the omelettes prepared in front of you with the ingredients of choice and the juices in the bottles. Maybe for the price you spend you expect a bit more.

Beautiful hotel with all the amenities and comfortable beds. Close proximity to the Zurich Main Terminal train station. Approximately 10 minutes walking to shopping and restaurants. Can't go wrong staying here if your visiting Zurich for a few days or longer.

Excellent service. Also great executive room. Rooms are nice and modern. Only potential downside is that if you have a door to another room it's not super well insulated. Luckily we didn't have a loud neighbor, but could occasionally hear the TV in the next room.

As I walked up to the hotel and looking at the outside of the building, I did not expect much but was very pleasantly surprised at the inside of the hotel and how nice it was. The rooms appear to be recently renovated and I had a room with great views of the river and city. The location of the hotel is great as it is a short walk to the train station and the "old town" area of the city. Staff was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. I would gladly stay here again without hesitation.

This was the best hotel that I have ever stayed at. I travel 1-2 time a month for work and was overwhelmed by the kind staff. Every need or question was immediately answered to the best of their abilities. They care equally for their business travelers to families, having toys in the lobby for the little ones. Thank you for a great stay.

Superior twin room wasn't any different from standard rooms I have stayed in but maybe in Zurich space is a premium so all hotel rooms are like this.

Nonetheless the room was modern and clean. Staff in the hotel are very friendly.

Buffet breakfast was excellent and all cooked items were freshly cooked and didn't look like most buffets (dried up).

I paid extra for a late check out so that I could catch up on some sleep. But in the three extra hours I was disturbed three times by housekeeping. I informed reception on my check out and they said they would look into what happened - this didn't help my situation but maybe it will help future visitors.

Rooms don't live up to the standard of a 5* hotel. Ours even faced a main street and the trams passing were really noisy. Also, there's no real spa or wellness area, just a mixed sauna and a small gym. On the upside, full American breakfast (buffet) is great with plenty of choice and the hotel is close to the city center.
