Great staff, clean rooms but the breakfast has only cereal and waffles with butter or marmalade. No cheese, no jam, no eggs or bacon. Everything is good, but please, get a better breakfast. Definitely I’ll go again

This was a nice hotel. It is a great value, quiet, and simple hotel. The check in process was smooth and easy. The room and bathroom was clean. In the morning there is breakfast right next to the lobby area (toast, bagels, coffee, orange juice). There are several restaurants close by with a couple withing walking distance. Overall my stay here was pleasant and look forward to staying here again in the near future next time I am in the area.

Friendly check-in. I have no complaints per se, but the room carpets need to be replaced. Cleaners generally don’t speak English and don’t clean properly. I think they just need better training.

Clean room but a little small. Great night sleep in the bed! Staff is very nice but talked up the breakfast way too much! Was expecting something a lot nicer than you walked in to! If you like Eggos that you have to make then you'll love it, but that's the highlight of the breakfast. Also the rest of the guests are so incredibly rude during breakfast that they might run you down to get to a toaster. I recommend the stay just don't go down for breakfast!

Yes the rooms are a little smallish, but we just needed a place to sleep while the family spent the whole day at Disney and Legoland. Bathroom will be considered small for a person of very large girth, but is still comfortable enough to use. Shower is large enough for anybody and water pressure and temperature is good. The room was clean. Staff is overly friendly in my opinion, they go out of their way to take care of any problems you have while staying here. Breakfast is simple, milk , juice, pre frozen waffles, pancakes, bagels...no eggs. Just had to use the toasters and microwaves to heat the food. But that's more then what you get in most hotels at this price and there is a McDonald's next door if you desire more...if you're there for the parks you probably have kids, so you'll be at the McDonald's anyways. No shuttle to the parks that are only about 15 minute drive anyways, which I don't mind, this hotel only charges a $3 resort fee vs the $20 that other hotels charge so I had no problem paying the Disney parking fee instead of using a shuttle. Most hotel shuttles arrive at the park 1-2 hours after they open and we were able to go out of the park for lunch and go back by car.

The staff is nice and friendly. The pool is a bit small and closed at dusk. Rooms are newly remodeled or in the process. Continental breakfast was lacking but was better than nothing. I enjoyed the over all stay none the less.

My favorite hotel from now on. Great beds, quiet, I felt cared for cleaning ladies would come in and make my bed and change the sheets and I'd come to a neat comfy room. I have absolutely nothing negativo say about my experience here I stated about 4 days it was great wish I could come back soon.

The price I got for this room online was exceptional. Was not sure what I was doing to find until I got there. I was very pleased. was nice. Room was nice and clean. Even checked it with my UV light. Continental breakfast had enough to get you started for the day. Didn't have any fruit though. The room was made up everyday nicely.

I booked this hotel a month ahead for my trip to Animal Kingdom. I stayed 2 nights.
Price was good. Comfortable beds. Clean room as expected. Located just 9 minutes away from the park.

This hotel has all the basic needs for a nice stay while visiting Disney parks. The beds are comfortable and room are clean. The service desk is helpful and friendly.

The hotel is clean, the bed is very comfortable. A lot of space for car parking and the reception was great. There is no restaurant in the hotel, however, there are a lot of restaurants around where one can eat.

My family and I have stayed at Destiny Palms many times for over 8 years. Always quiet, safe, plenty of free parking and friendly/helpful staff. Minutes away from anything you might need and only 4 miles to Disney World! Highly recommended!

Well this place has good aspects and bad ones. Since people read reviews to see what's wrong with a place let's start with the bad... the rooms have no soundproofing or so it seems. You can hear everything from inside your room. The rooms are small but it is not too small. If you stay here do NOT let them out you in a room by the stairs at the end that lead outside. It was so incredibly noisy and the door is super loud. I mean very loud. The free breakfast is cereal and frozen waffles or pancakes that you hear up. On our second day the manager was in the hallway throwing a fit and yelling at people, when we went downstairs he was screaming a belittling the staff and threatening to fire people. Whether they deserved it or not.. you do not do that in Front of clients or customers. Now the good... the bed is super comfy. We loved it. The pillows too. They have different types such as soft and firm. It is really close to restaurants and fast food. It is about 5 - 10 minutes away from Disney world and 20-30 min from Universal and Islands of Adventure. The staff was incredible. So nice and willing to accommodate any need you have. They are polite and friendly and will help you with whatever you need. All in all it is not a bad place to stay.

Very friendly staff. Was accommodated by allowing us to check in early, so bonus points to that. Can't fault the hotel on anything except the small washrooms, I prefer my sinks in the same room. Breakfast was mediocre but better than nothing. And rooms were always clean and fresh, kudos to the cleaning staff.
Overall I was very satisfied with this hotel and will recommend to all that ask for suggestions.

Traveled down from Arkansas to pick our daughter up from Disney, we had a hotel reservation elsewhere, that place was a dump, so we checked and drove here to Destiny Palms, Melissa and the Mr were super friendly and fantastic!! They got us a great room at a great and very fair price! The exceeded all our expectations!. The room was very clean, very comfortable, the bed is AWESOME!! We will be back!!

Great value for the the money and very close to Disney World. We felt safe the entire time and it was conveniently close to to everything else you could imagine. The rooms are a little outdated but otherwise clean. Staff very friendly. Bagels, toast, waffles or cereal for breakfast was fine for my family. I'd stay here again.

Excellent price and location, just 10-15 min from any Disney park. The accommodations were perfectly clean and acceptable. The room included a fridge and a microwave. Nothing super fancy, but zero complaints. It's the perfect spot to lay your head between busy park days. I'll be happy to return again.

No, it's not a five star hotel. But if you're looking for somewhere cheap, clean, and comfortable... That's what you get here. My fiance and I stayed here for 2 nights during our Disney trip. It was perfect for just us two. Breakfast is bagels, waffles and juice. Nope, not an amazing meal, but it's free. Overall, staying here saved us a good chunk of money and it was exactly what we expected. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms have a mini fridge AND microwave. So you can definitely heat up leftovers or something.

The Destiny Palms Hotel was a nice hidden gem off of 192 we found on my fiancé's Tickets At Work account. When we called to check their check-in time policy, they said as long as we check in by 9pm for our stay, we will be fine. We checked into the hotel and had a very short walk to our room. The lobby smelled and looked clean, the staff at the desk were happy to be of service. Our room keys worked and didn't have any issues. We walked into our king bed room and it smelled like very fresh paint. Knowing the rooms and some areas of the property were being very recently renovated and worked on, it didn't bother us. Our shower was a very interesting shape! That, and the sink area were clean. The sheets smelled nice and were also clean. The pillows and bed were sooo comfortable! For being so close to restaurants, the back entrance to the Animal Kingdom area of Disney property, and the toll road that leads over to I-4, it's a great place to stay if you just need a place to rest your head for the night! :)

Our room was small but it was very clean and simple. There was a shower only, a microwave, iron and coffee maker. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice place.

Awesome room for the price. Continental breakfast included is a continental breakfast (Not like other places we have stayed). Remodeling was going on while we were there so it smelled a bit strong of paint but that was not a big deal.

This hotel was flat out awesome. Great price, clean rooms, good location, but most of all excellent customer service. Melissa in particular went above and beyond to make my stay great. My first room had an older model TV with no HDMI cable, normally I wouldn't care but being on vacation I wanted to hook up my gaming system and watch Netflix as needed. Keep in mind I had already been in the room for over 4 hours before I finally decided it was worth addressing. Melissa jumped into action and moved me to another room within minutes. She could have easily told me there was nothing she could do but she went the extra mile for me, and most hotels I've been to in this price range simply wouldn't have done that. Five star service.

Roomy showers and clean room. Rented a king and the room was small overall but was comfy. Would definitely stay again for the price.

Staying here For Hurricane Irma since my power is out. But this is my favorite hotel anyway. Staff is always friendly rooms are nice, and location is perfect. Great place to stay

So we were desperate for a hotel since hurricane Irma split a tree in front of our rental property and nearly killed us plus managed to land on power lines. We had no power and running out of food. We called and got a room about 40 miles away from our home. They have been wonderful here. Courteous and caring from the front desk to the house keepers. The front desk gave us a pack of water when they heard or story and have been adamant about helping us since. The room was not huge but had everything we needed. It's easy to get in and out with three entrances that I have seen so far. The hotel is within waking distance of a 7-11, two fast food restaurants and a flea market. There are more but it's farther then a short walk.

Basic, but exactly what we needed. Free high speed internet, free parking, customer service was great, bagels coffee and juice were perfect start to the day. They have a cold vending machine and a snacks one too. Will definitely use this place again when visiting my sister.

Stayed here many times. Very nice. Quiet. Close to restaurants, gas, grocery, and Disney. Breakfast is toast, bagels, premade pancakes and waffles, cereal, instant oatmeal, coffee and juice. Bring cream cheese if you want it for your bagel. Great price. Great location.

Staff was super friendly. Room was a bit small but the beds were very comfortable. Lack of açcessible outlets near the beds was a drawback. Bathroom was small, with only a shower. However the showerhead was very nice and water pressure and temperature was good.

We didn't get to try the pool, but it looked very nice. There is no fitness center, not even a lonely treadmill, but they do have a business center where you can print stuff.

The free breakfast was disappointing, with very few choices and no hot food. However there are many excellent restaurants and buffets nearby.

If you're here to visit a theme park, keep in mind that the hotel is a bit far away from most of them and is 45 minutes or more to the airport, depending on traffic.

For the price, I would absolutely stay here again, despite the minor issues.

Nice size room. Beds are very comfortable. Great customer service, very friendly. Only thing that could be improved is there breakfast. They don't have cream cheese for the Bagels. They don't have any type of protein. Other then that, it is very clean and friendly.

Pretty much 10 - 15 minutes from pretty much anything you would want to do in Orlando. Clean rooms at a fair rate. Second time staying there and would definitely recommend it. 👍

This is a good hotel for a quick night stay. The beds are comfortable and you're very close to theme parks.

We had a room for two adults with one long sized bed. the bed is extremely comfy and the a.c. keeps you very cool. shower is big, and bathroom is a decent size. the tv is a little too far away from the bed for me. and the curtains should be a little longer to block all the light. As always the staff and manager are very kind, will definitely return.

We needed a one night stay for a quick trip to Disney and this place was perfect! Disney resort prices were pretty high and we didn't want to spend that much for a quick trip (taking advantage of our year passes and didn't stay in parks entire two days). Our room was clean, and staff was super friendly. The free breakfast was pretty sparse (advice: bring your own cream cheese and/or peanut butter). Location was super convenient to Disney Parks and local restaurants, gas, and shops. We will definitely visit again.

cheap hotel but was clean. Very out dated but if you are just looking for a place to put you head down at night, this was not the worst ive seen. Breakfast was very carb heavy but better than nothing i guess.

We stay here a lot when we go to Disney or universal, this is a great hotel for the price! Never had an issue. Staff is amazing. The owner is great, anything you need they will accommodate accordingly.

Economical but dated hotel, not to far from Disney world or the other parks but the traffic during busy times will slow you down so plan it into your travel times, . Had a few jitters with the WiFi whilst here but they knew about the problem and had their supplier working on it, otherwise good coverage and speed. Breakfast is basic, but, it isn't far to Walmart, Target or Publix and there is a coffee pot, fridge and microwave in the rooms. AC is a bit noisy but does work. Those with young children may want a room on the ground floor as the window opens completely like a door with nothing to stop a fall.

It is right next to a McDonald's and restaurant bar. 15 minutes from Disney. Wifi is free but not really quick, maybe 500kbs.

Our family stayed at Destiny Palms Hotel for two weeks in March 2016. The staff greeting us for check-in was very friendly and courteous and always helpful when we asked for directions or advice on a place to eat or a destination. Chuck, the GM at the hotel checked in with us almost daily as we were coming or going and asked how we were enjoying our stay. The hotel was always clean and well kept inside and out. The daily breakfast was a great savings for our family and the staff were always quick to replenish anything that was a popular choice. The hotel was conveniently located to all parks and restaurants and only an hours drive to Cocoa Beach. Hotel parking was spacious, free and very accessible. We booked our stay through Expedia and were more than happy with our rate and most importantly, our stay at Destiny Palms! We would not hesitate to book here again!

Check in was easy. The greeters wher helpful. The room was ok, a few updates are needed and a litte more space.. We where on the first floor and could hear the washer and dryer run. The coffee was nice. Nice location.

We had a great experience at the Destiny Palms Hotel very recently in late October 2015. We stayed for 2 weeks with a family of 2 adults and 3 kids under 8 and everyone enjoyed the stay and we will be back. The room was clean and well-kept (yes it was a little bit small) but it was still big enough for what we needed and had everything we wanted. The mattress and pillows were comfy, the bathroom was clean and worked well, the shower worked well, the shampoo and soap was nice. The wifi worked well. Our room was in great condition.

The room had a bar fridge that was perfect for what we needed and the microwave was a bonus and there was a coffee maker and coffee given by housekeeping. There was plenty of cupboard space to store food.

The breakfast was much appreciated and saved us a lot of money every day. You had your choice of unlimited Raisin Bran or Frosted Flakes with milk, Waffles (plain, strawberry or chocolate chip), bagels (variety), toast with butter and jam, 3 types of Oatmeal, orange juice, apple juice, tea and coffee.

The hotel was located fairly close to Disney (maybe a 10 minute drive) and very close to shopping such as Target SuperStore and a Flea Market (and 100s of other stores). There is a McDonalds and 7-11 across the parking lot which is very convenient.

Chuck who runs the hotel was amazing. He personalized every interaction and truly gets to know his guests (young and old). He could not have been more caring or concerned and he did whatever was needed to make people's stay good. The rest of the staff were all nice as well. Housekeeping was great (did a thorough job but didn't bug you to be out of the room), the girl at the front desk was lovely as well.

I left a bag behind when we went home and Housekeeping turned it in and Chuck made sure I got my things back. I am so impressed (and grateful)!

I don't see how you could get better value for the money: clean, affordable, good service, good location, free breakfast, great wifi...what more do you want?! If you are looking for a well-priced hotel and good value for your money you can't go wrong staying here!

I stayed there is may, and everything was so perfect. The bedroom and everything there was always clean. Every worker was super nice and helpful. I talked to them a lot on where I should go and where stuff was, and they never had any problem with helping me or talking with me about how they like Florida. I and my boyfriend will be going there to stay again for our birthday. The manager was the nicest woman I've EVER met. LOVED our stay and will go there every time I need a stay down there. Highly recommend them over any other place.
