Unbelievable value for the money. I stumbled upon this Inn during a snow storm (a few months ago) and was very pleasantly surprised by the significant "value" I received for my hard-earned dollars...i.e., the room was great (sizable and fairly new).

Additionally, the family-owned staff were very professional, courtesy and responsive to my needs and requests.

As a frequent traveler, I highly recommend this Inn for those travelers who are price and value-conscious. While in life, nothing is "absolute-perfect", but for the price, this Inn is a close-to-perfect that most of us will get in a Motel/Inn!

The owners of the hotel are very helpfull and really nice . The rooms are clean and they have been doing alot of work to update this hotel. It's animal friendly and good price. The breakfast has a variety of items to choose from . I would recommend this place

This place is very cozy and the Owner and operators treat everyone super good. I would recommend staying here to anyone. Friendly laid back Motel, good value for the money, close to town (Lake Mills, WI). I have slept very well and enjoyed my stay very much!!!

I didn't stay long, but it was perfect for my short stop. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. The lobby was very nice. They seem to be doing some work on the hotel, so I am sure it will be even better next time. Quiet and located right next to gas and food.

Rooms were nice, amenities were suitable for our needs. I liked that there was a fridge. Small pool, TV in the room was kind of in a weird position. But overall you get your money's worth and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Ideal location with 2 giant gas stations next to it and lots of food choices nearby. The service at the hotel counter was exceptional and the room was well kept and the beds where comfortable. Would recommend it if staying in lake mills Wisconsin

The workers work hard and rooms are cleaned and well cleaned and lobby is very welcoming

Good spot. When I went it was mostly empty, and they breakfast includes cereal and coffee. I went on a Saturday to check out Sunday morning. Check out at 11. And the rooms had AC and a small TV. Had a fridge and packets of coffee next to a coffee machine. Room looked clean and had no issues.

Friendly staff. Went out of their way to keep us fed after all the restaurants were closed for the night and Pizza Hut couldn’t deliver from fort Atkinson because of the snow. Thanks for a great stay!

We got a whirl pool suit. The first room was okay. The whirl pool didn't work. Moldy fridge. So we got put in another room. Coffee maker has never been cleaned. Pube hair on toilet. At least the whirl pool worked in this one. Breakfast was a joke. Front desk guy was nice.

I must say, I have never felt more welcome at a hotel! At check in they were having a small gathering in the lobby and the owner and his wife overed my son and I to have some grilled food that was outright awesome. They made us feel like old friends. As for our stay, the place was clean and well maintained with a nice layout. I would highly recommend staying here and will make this hotel on my must stay when in the area list when traveling.

INCREDIBLE VALUE at $51! Every room I've been in had two full or queen beds, quite roomy, equipped with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, closet, full bath and CLEAN. Wonderful Whirlpool Suites are available. No guest laundry. WiFi works everywhere. Satellite TV. SMOKING not allowed inside per state law. Decor is similar to a Comfort Inn or La Quinta at a lower price. Breakfast is not huge, but restaurants are nearby including a truck stop next door. The manager, Kathy is pleasant as are her workers. Please do not let the mistakes of the previous foreign managers dissuade you.. update: Nice decor for Christmas. I booked for a week at $41/night. Very quiet, underutilized motel.

Disgusted! Sad to say that the other reviews seem very familiar​. I gave it 2 stars because the staff is very friendly and they accept pets, even my cats! BUT $250 for a Whirlpool suite is only acceptable if the room is clean and modern. The bathroom door is so rusted and dirty. The floor is full of hair and after sitting in the hot tub I looked over and pulled a large clump of hair off the drain. Not the best experience

Just started a 496 mile bike journey included our first night in Lake Mills at this ABVI. Dan & Kathy are new owners of this hotel. They are very pleasant, personable and could not be more helpful. My friends and I came riding in late on a rainy night. They got us checked into a clean, quiet room quickly so we could dash out a grab a delicious Mexican dinner. Good coffee and complimentary breakfast got us on our way early in the morning! Great place.

I usually don't stay at ABVI because they are famous for bad experiences with me anyway. But this one here in Lake Mills is different. The young man at check inn was very pleasant and called me by name as if he was expecting me. He was very sharp, attentive and helpful to say the least. The room was very nice and comfortable and had everything you need. Nice place. I would definitely recommend it and return. I gave it 3 stars.

older, cheap hotel. Just out of town, but close enough (5 min). There is a convenience store/gas,diesel station attached to the entrance driveway. The rooms were relatively clean, the beds though, were very "springy" with not a lot of support

Staff was great ,owner not so much. Paid a weekly and then had to leave early do to work. Front desk guy handled it great until the owner decided to tack an extra twenty bucks a night on the normal rate to keep my money. What a joke. It's what ya get when dealing with foreigners ..

The service was absolutely fantastic. The attendant was super nice. The room itself was a bit lacking. Peeling paint, scuff marks, and a dirty coffee pot among a few other things.

The Lake Mills Best Value Inn isnt too bad. Its a basic hotel, and at least it has a pool. It is pretty clean as well.

Kathy manages the hotel and she is AMAZING!!! Such an incredibly kind person with a huge heart. She was there for us when we absolutely needed her the most. We stayed for 3 nights and she made our stay perfect. I will definite come back again and will recommend this hotel to all my friends. THANK YOU KATHY!! YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER :)!!!!!!

The staff is great and attend to any request. It exceeded my expectations for the money I spent. I was very comfortable and my room was clean. Not sure if the older posts were before some upgrades were made or what but I would come here again.
