Great place for a staycation. Kama'aina rate was good and easy access to get in and out of Waikiki. Staff was superb and very friendly.

This hotel is perfect for people with little kids. I was there when I was 8 and that was totally great place. I want to come back there when I will be in Hawaii. Great staff, tasty breakfasts, plates filled with delicious fruit and an ocean nearby. Just walk across the road and there you are. The Pacific Ocean. It depends on what level floor you get but we got the view on the ocean so waking up and sleeping to the sounf of ocean waves was like a dream that came into reality...

We spent 7 nights there. We highly recommend Aqua Palms and will definitely return. Very reasonably priced. Everything was top notched and we were treated first class. Staff was very friendly, helpful, efficient, and accommodating, we travelled with my parents and asked for rooms close to each other and they accommodated us by putting us just down the hall from them. The location is perfect, great view from our room, about a block and 1/2 to the beach and very close to dining and shopping. Also a free shuttle to Walmart and other shopping centers. They also have a beautiful pool with a great view. Thanks for the most excellent experience!!!

Great hotel close to the beach and local shops, restaurants. Elevator was a little slow because one was out of commission but overall a great night's stay. Nice bed coverings, comfortable beds and nice Hawaiian Tropics soaps.

Hotel is dated. Needs some upgrades. Staff is 5 star though. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Elevators are slow. Love how it is in walking distance to shopping, dining, and the beach. Parking structure is tight to drive in. Views are nice. Bed was comfortable. Would stay somewhere else next time. I think people would come back or give better reviews with new furniture etc in the rooms.

Hotel is great for simple and fast stays, especially if you don't plan to be in the room much. The hotel did a pesticide application in all rooms while we last stayed there which wasn't exactly what we had in mind while staying in Waikiki. Better to not have pests like bed bugs though, which I've been bit by at far fancier hotels in Waikiki in the past.

I was in Hawaii for work, and my room was booked at the Aqua Palms hotel. I switched establishments because my room at the Aqua Palms was dirty; stained curtains, carpeting, walls, and skirting around the bed. The staff was friendly at the Aqua Palms, but the room was dirty. Again, the staff was not the problem; they were helpful and friendly; it was the room itself that I feel was unsatisfactory. Two of my co-workers switched hotels as well. Another co-worker's room looked clean to me, but again, mine was not, and since the hotel didn't have any additional rooms available, I switched. I hate to leave a negative review, but people work hard for their money, and whether you are in Hawaii for business or pleasure, you want a nice, clean room.

Eh, it's a decent hotel. Doesn't offer breakfast, $25 a day for parking, $25 a day resort fee on top of what you already paid. There were little bugs(looked like ants?)on the desk and countertop most of our stay. Elevators are slow even though there are three of them. Keep in mind, just because you pay for parking doesn't mean you'll get a parking spot. It's first come, first serve. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The rooms where nice and well kept. Plenty of channels to scroll through. But no hdmi cable to hook up anything so make sure to bring your own.

On another note. Do not forget anything. It will take awhile for them to find it. But other than that. The hotel was excellent. A lot better than the 3.1 its rated! Won't be disappointed

In the thick of the Honolulu hustle. Close to the start of the Waikiki beach strip and surrounded by many bars and restaurants. AP has parking a pool and a workout room. Our unit is nicely appointed and has a kitchenette and a walk out deck.

Booked 4 nights here for a family vacation and didn't receive a confirmation email, which caused a lot of stress and confusion initially. Although the lobby seems really nice and clean, the rooms were another story. The room itself was very run-down and full of dust--even the fan in the room had dust all over the vents! One of the fitted sheets had a black stain on it, and the bathtub paint is peeling in multiple places. Breakfast is not provided, and the parking spots available at the hotel are very tight. Overall, a pretty uncomfortable stay.

I'm not going to be able to enjoy any of it's nice away from home feel and qualities. Of course not! I'd rather be at home with my Lady! Overall good for a week or two max. The constant movement of many in and out, make it easy being a person that can't sit in one place. If I don't move my mind begins it's path toward destruction, so I make sure to busy myself just about all day and night.

6

The location is okay and the staff are freindly; however the actual room needs to be updated. It lacks a modern and clean look and instead comes across as a late 90's early 2000's homey hotel room. Also it's location on a one-way street make it more difficult to acesses.

Rooms are nice and clean. Reasonably priced and 5 mins walk from the beach. Staff are nice and ready to help.Coffee and water are available all day long free of charge. Had an issue and it was well handled by the general manager. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have its own restaurant.

Stayed for a week and found this was the perfect location. The staff was extremely friendly. Rooms have mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board - everything you need. I would definitely stay at the Aqua Palms Waikiki again.

Nice hotel. Some nice bell's and whistles. Only major problems I saw was mold in air dryer vents. The service is pretty good.

The room was better than most I've stayed at on Oahu. decently clean, an air conditioner that will actually cool the room, and a fridge. The shower was horrible though. It was the handicap accessible type shower head, in a normal tub. The shower hose was situated upwards, so gravity would make it kink unless you wrapped it around the top post of the holder, and the head would pop out of the holder and spray everything unless you had it wrapped around the hand hold underneath it, then tightly placed in its holder.. Also it was about chest level, and I'm only 5'7. The parking garage was good, plenty of spots to park, I only had to ever go to the second floor. but the passageways were very narrow ,and had blind corners, so watch out for that. I'll probably stay here again, just because I didn't get screwed out of parking. I come here every 6 months for work, always have a vehicle, and need to make it to work on time, and cannot walk far to get to my car, so it's very important to me.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

We ate at the IHOP restaurant. Food was great! Waitress was fantastic. We had to wait to be seated because the hostess was fixing problems with a take out order. But once we were seated, it was great!

Stayed in a room with a king bed and a pull out couch. Beds were comfortable and clean. Room was quite small but functional. Had almost no balcony and the balcony doors let in a lot of the noise from the street. Pool was in the shade most of the day. However it is very close to the beach so the shady pool wasn't the worst thing.

5

Big disappointment. You would think from the location and all the big hotels around that it would be top notch. My room was comfortable, but that was about it. The frig was super small that you couldn't get more that three items in it. It's a good thing it had a shower, because the tub was literally only about 3 feet long. In the hall where I can only assume was at one time an ice machine, was nothing but exposed piping. And the parking is incredibly tight and hard to maneuver in without having to jockey your car back and forth several times.

The staff was very nice, but for me I had to pay extra as an upgrade in my package to get into this hotel and the other Hotel without the upgrade I stayed at last time was better so sadly in comparison it was just not as Grand it was just like a normal hotel where at certain angles you could see the ocean. Also I was excited thinking they had a rooftop pool that way you can see the ocean. They didn't claim that but their pictures on their website made it seem that way so I was excited about that and come to find out it was on the second floor and extremely cold water.

I booked last minute with no trouble. I like the room its clean and quite nice. But mainly everyone is really helpful. With my massive bike box being offered help with soon as i hopped out of the taxi. my booking for shuttle and my day booking the next day. And gave me info straight up about nearest gear, and provided me with a map. And everythings so close. I will stay here again next time for sure.

I stayed here, 3 times. The lobby is not impressive. However, the rooms were always great. Don't pay for the ocean view. Get an upper floor rear view, it is n impressive view of the other hotels and the mountains as you sip a beverage on your balcony. The in house Kona coffee provided for your coffee maker is the best I have ever had in a hotel. The lobby is the only thing keeping this from 5 stars.

Only on day 2 of 10 but this is located closer to the end of the action. Clean and staff are polite. We rented a private unit in the building so can't comment further on the hotel. The pool is small but who comes to Hawaii for the pool? Would say it's a great choice.

The location was great. Really close to the beach and several bus stops. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. They were also helpful when arranging things like the airport shuttle. The tub drain was very slow. Also the tub was painted and it was chipping in several places.

Toilet didn't flush properly. A side from that I love the staff. Ryan who answered my phone calls promptly and Kekoa I believe was his name who was our front desk agent; was really sweet. They were great at accommodating us for last minute booking and late check in. LOVE the bed. It was so soft. All in all I'd use them again for a quick get away from our reality.

Clean, decent room. Light on common amenities like shampoo or a toothbrush. Probably could have gotten them from the front desk, but I was only staying one night. Parking garage is cramped but a welcome feature in Waikiki. Great central location and the 24 hour coffee shop down the street is a great place to close out your night.

Everything was great at the Aqua Palms. It was clean, our room was a good size and it was so refreshing to have the ice water in the lobby to grab after a warm day outside. It was an ideal location. We would stay there again.

Pool and location is a good. Lobby is nice with a tour guide and bell desk. Rooms are adequate get a balcony if you can. The rooms are a tidy and come with fridge but are dated and obvious low cost repairs. Was happy overall with our 2 day stay. Staff were excellent.

8

Rooms had a great view, very comfortable bed. However, having a balcony over the pool deck (even seven floors up) resulted in noise at odd times of night as people partied. Hotel was very convenient to several amenities, the beach, and all of Waikiki for dining options. Be careful if storing a rental car in their garage, it is very tight quarters in there.

Great location! Very walkable area with a free shuttle to the mall. Small but clean rooms, including a sofa and a balcony. Coffee, tea, an in room fridge and plenty of toiletries. Walls are fairly thin, I could hear the shower and blow dryer in the room next door. Parking is relatively expensive but so is in everything in Hawaii!

Short stay but I enjoyed it. The location is ideal in the heart of Waikiki literally walking distance to everything if your up for it. Front desk was great. The rooms were nice. The toiletries smelled amazing. House keeping is on time. The only gripe was the bathroom the shower was draining sort of slow and the pipe made a loud noise the entire time it was on they need to fix that.

I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. It was clean which was the only reason I gave it 2 stars. We did not get the room we booked. I'm a grown adult and was traveling with my 2 parents. I booked 2 beds and got 1. The plumbing squealed off and on throughout our stay. On the last day it was pretty constant. I called the desk and they said maintenance was going to check it. We aren't people who sit around a room and we got tired of waiting on them to come. We went to dinner and came back to find the plumbing still squealing. The room was extremely small especially since I had to pull the couch out. There was a snack machine on the 7th and 11th floor but NO POP MACHINE! We stayed for 2 nights before going on to Guam. We were supposed to stay 1 night on our way back home but I cancelled that reservation and booked somewhere else.

Location is on the edge of Waikiki and fairly close to Ala Moana, rooms are nice, about what you would expect. The hotel has a DVD rental machine with some fairly new movies. There are a few diners near by for breakfast as well as an ABC store for minor things.

The room is fantastic and the staff is all very friendly. Unfortunately they don't tell you beforehand that there's an $18 a day "hospitality charge" as well as $25 a day to park our rental car in their garage. They also tried to give us a room with less beds than we originally requested. They quickly switched us rooms.

Nice clean hotel, close to the beach. There is an IHOP next door and a convenience store around the corner. All rooms have PlayStation 3s in them and you can borrow games and movies from the lobby. Each room has a balcony, refrigerator, microwave and fan. There is a parking garage but it cost $25/ day. they will charge $18 fee a night on top of your normal rate for "daily hospitality" which includes the movies and games, shuttles, coffee, and local phone calls. Over all, its a nice place and has good rates.

All good here including the WiFi location to the beach and restaurants. We also enjoyed the Soiree that the manager put on for the guests. If you want a pool then check before you book only due to the refurbishment. I can say that out of all the times we stayed in Waikiki we have never swam in the pools. Why because you have one of the most beautiful beaches in the world 5mins walk away.
Over all this a good check in check out type hotel. Will book again if in transit.

Called Aqua Palm Wakiki our home for a week. Great location as it is across the street from beach access. Major pick up point for many activities was across the street. Many stores in walking distance as well as many places to eat. One favorite place to eat was Da Smoke House. Only complaint comes from the elevators and the room keys. They have 3 elevators that are extremely slow and the key cards to get into the room are hit and miss. The staff was amazing. We stayed on the 4th floor. When we go back we will be staying here again. If you rent a car, be aware that parking is $25.00 a day. That was not uncommon for the island.
