Great place in practical location for airport and fair. Friendly staff!

Lovely hotel, great bar and front desk very helpful

Quite easy to find. It was my first trip to Germany after getting off the train, walked to the hotel with minimal help. (Google map was offline).

A good budget hotel near the airport. Also local Rheinbahn train and bus depot is right behind the hotel. It makes your life easier to travel to the heart of city with ease. Few bus services are also directed to Airport so travellers can reach Airport cheaply. Breakfast on the house is good, most of the items are repetitive. Bar has an extensive collection of whiskey to enjoy but very limited options for food at night.

Nice hotel. Big rooms. Clean and tidy. Bit of noise from the trams but this means they are easily accessible. Not much going on in the immediate area so you may have to walk to find a decent place to eat. I would go back, hopefully next time for fun instead of business.

Very kind and polite reception. Room was very clean and spacious. I couldn't experience the bar or breakfast due to my very early flight. Airport was about 10 min from the hotel. Taxi drivers will not want to be paid by card.

Pros - Very friendly staff, good breakfast, very spacious and spotlessly clean rooms, very good showers, very close to the tram line of you need it, secure parking spaces (costs extra €9 per day), bar open till late night if you need it.

Cons - Right next to tram line so may wake you up at night of you are a light sleeper (didnt bother me personally), Not many restaurants around if you arrive late past 9PM, no restaurant at the hotel either as they serve only breakfast, no coffee/tea machines in the room. Not a very inviting area around the hotel to be honest.

Overall - very good stay if you want something close to the airport for a short stay.

Hotel not so far from the airport. Rooms are very big but not so in line with a design hotel. Breakfast is really good but a little bit expensive.

Very cosy and clean. Staff speaks in at least 3 languages and all are very polite and helpful. Place is near to the airport and pretty much the only downside I can think of is the sound of teams at night. Noticeable before you fall asleep, not loud enough to wake you up though. Well deserved 5 stars. I would not hesitate to visit again when I come to Dusseldorf. Great stay

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Located within 5 min from the local train station, And it takes only 2 min from the station to the airport. You can enjoy local beer at the restaurant just next to the hotel.

Stylish hotel. It was a little bit further away from the airport than I'd expected - about 25mins walk, or 1 stop on the S Train. The only negative point is the noisy tram station outside which woke me up once.

Great value for money at this gem of a hotel! I needed a convenient place near the airport that wouldn't break the bank. Avidon Art & Design Hotel was perfect and far exceeded my expectations. It was easy to access from the train line, and the furnishings and amenities were top notch. The place is in great condition and very clean. Would recommend!

Reasonable value for a Düsseldorf Airport-area hotel. Good breakfast, clean rooms. The rooms weren't really "high design" as the name of the hotel would suggest.

Great business hotel close to the airport. I stayed the night there between two flights. I had nothing to complain about which is all I ask for given this price and location close to the airport.

Nice hotel but my room was on the corner next to the tram rails and due that it was quite loud. Excellent breakfast.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Avidon Art & Design Hotel. It's conveniently located near the Dusseldorf Airport. The property is immaculate, well-maintained and efficiently operated. The staff was very hospitable and helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions. I will stay here in the future when traveling via the Dusseldorf Airport.

Fine hotel, but be careful with the bathroom door. They close by themselves very forcefully. My finger was crushed...

I like this hotel. I have stayed here several times. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are big, the beds hard (which I prefer) and the bar has a great selection. The breakfast room is a bit noisy but there are all the things you need for a good start. (And the coffee and the juice is good!)

This was a very nice hotel with great staff and a convenient location! The room was spacious and clean with a large balcony. Great place to stay if you have a long layover at the airport or if you arrive to Düsseldorf by train and need a nice spot to sleep nearby. The hotel is nested in a pretty quiet community.

I booked 5 rooms for me and my colleagues who were flying out of Düsseldorf Airport next morning. This is a great little boutique hotel which offers an enjoyable stay to travelers. My room was spacious, well furnished and clean; bed was cosy for a good night's sleep. The large window offered a view of the tram station next to the hotel. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and provided valuable guidance on how to spend the evening in the city. They arranged for a cab to the airport next morning. Breakfast was pricey (18 Euros per person) so we did not opt for it.

Das habe ich nur selten erlebt. Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit immer wieder neuen Überraschungen. Ich fühlte mich wohl, weit weg. Das ganz Besondere aber der Umgang mit mir. Beim Einchecken bin ich wirklich nicht immer sehr angenehm. Ich war nach der Fahrt knurrig und keineswegs freundlich, machte meine Bemerkungen u.a. über das Dorf im Norden von Köln. Ich bewundere den Herrn am Empfang. Wie er mit mir umging, wie er mich abfing, wie er mich zum Freund gewann. So ging es über den gesamten Aufenthalt. Ich kann mich nur herzlich bedanken.

Nettes Hotel - nichts für Ruhe liebende Menschen - aber Preis/Leistung absolut in Ordnung.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Really nice room, friendly staff, stable wi-fi (but a bit slow). Room has nice balcony but no minibar. Comfortable bed and you can take the tram to the city, or buss 760/729 to the airport. The airport is 25 minutes by foot and you get to walk trough a nice park. There is a supermarket not far from the hotel (walk 7 minutes west on Unterrather street)
