My first time in Gatlinburg, and this hotel was great. Nice and clean, and the balcony with the river view was wonderful. It was so relaxing. The only thing negative was the noise from the street because it is on the main strip. The staff was very friendly and also allowed me a 12 noon checkout. I will definitely recommend staying here and I will definitely be back. Oh and the heated pool was divine. The location is in great proximity to everything too.

This Wyndham hotel was nicely renovated and was beautifully situated along a creek. Each room has a creek side balcony, which is one of the main reasons we stayed here for the night. We made good use of the guest laundry room after several days of camping. Our room was clean and the staff was helpful. Hotels in town are still not able to offer the free continental breakfast, so that was a bit of a disappointment. The hotel is located on the edge of town, so be prepared to the walk a few minutes to get into the heart of Gatlinburg.

Very comfortable and convenient for driving different areas. Even while on a main strip, it remained peaceful. The balcony alongside the river was relaxing. I will DEFINITELY stay here again!

Trucks should NOT be allowed to park on the upper level, spaces are too small for them.

It's a nice cozy clean place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful if needed. The rooms are cute but my favorite was to chill on the balcony and listen to the sound of the river flowing it is so peaceful I will definitely visit again, and the fresh chocolate in the lobby is yum yum!

Great location. The view is amazing from the balcony. Rooms are decent, our sheets were very clean. Indoor pool is open 24 hours which is a big plus.I woulda given 5 stars but the room smelled extremely musty, our stay was for 5 days. If we hadn't brought our box fan; I don't think the smell would've went away. Also the Parking is tight the past couple nights we've taken the very last spot (basement parking) or we made a spot of our own. There are microwaves and fridges in each room. A room with air hockey and a sauna, also an exercise room. There is a grill in the basement level of the hotel with a picnic table too.

Room needed updating... cabinet was broken and would not stay shut, the microwave was broken and the door would not stay shut. One point we returned after dinner to it being wide open. Room 324. Also, needs to bring in an exterminator due to ants all over the place. It could be my mind due to seeing all the ants but I could swear I was getting bitten every time we laid in the bed. I'd end up waking up with welps on my shoulders and arms (areas exposed directly to the bed). I didn't see any bed bugs, so again it could be my mind playing tricks on me. Breakfast was great, slightly crowded on first morning but still a great breakfast. Staff was very helpful and the views were great. Overall it was not a bad place to stay and I would still recommend it. They just need to do some tidying up.

This is by far one of the most beautiful locations for a hotel. We were in room 410 earlier this week. All the balconies completely over look the river. Our room was very clean. Friendly staff. Not alot of parking on the top level parking lot. Pool is kinda small but we loved this place so much we booked again for the end of August!

Nice spot to stay in a really convenient location minutes away from all the tourist activities. Rooms include a balcony with a nice view of the river. Breakfast is included at no extra cost.

We just got back from staying here.. The hotel is in a perfect location and looks pretty clean the microwave was not working in my room I spoke to the receptionist but nothing was done. On the 2nd day we found our door crack open the cleaning personnel left it open, I just got back home after 3 days of staying there and find out my sunglasses are missing ,do not trust the cleaning personnel and make sure you do not allow them to come into your room. $180 pair of coach sunglasses are gone... for this reason I would never stay here again and we won't recommend this place to anyone....

Very nice, clean and comfortable room. Awesome view from the balcony right above the river. Staff friendly and professional. Heather made us feel like family. Priced very reasonable. Absolutely will come back. Can highly recommend.

The view and soothing sounds of the river are amazing! The bed was comfortable and the room was a great size for two adults. The bedskirts were dirty/stained. The furniture and walls had lots of scuffs, nicks, and could definitely use some updates. The breakfast had a good variety but was not tasty at all. We were able to walk to Gatlinburg and avoid paying for parking all weekend which was nice. Overall I would definitely stay here again to enjoy the view, the proximity to all the action in Gatlinburg, and the price point.

In an all in review I would say somewhere around a 3.7. The rooms were pretty nice but there were just attention to detail things that stood out. The heat lamp didn't work in the bathroom. The refrigerator was missing a leg the microwave is outdated as well as the elevators. Our room key did not work once we made it to the top floor so I had to wait at least 3 minutes for the elevator to go back down. The view is very nice over the river. The breakfast was pretty good this morning. All hot.

My first visit to the area. Spent one night here and a couple with friends in a cabin closer to town.
The traffic is horrible on the weekends. This location helps to avoid that issue. Room was clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Balcony was over the water. I was very happy with the accommodations considering the low price I paid.

Very nice and homely kind of place. It's a bit out dated as far as style goes, but with the view you revive of the river and the mountain, you can't beat it. The breakfast was very nice, a good wholesome meal to start the morning. The place was very clean and the staff were very nice. The fire pit was a wonderful group actiivity and the selection on hot tea was wonderful.

I cant seem to understand why this place does not have more stars lol. My husband and i just stayed there. We had a beautiful very clean room. There was a very large hot tube about 5 feet away from our bed, a fireplace and a private balcony with overlooking the river. They had matrix hair and body supplies which i found to be a awesome plus. You are right down town in all the action as well so the location is perfect! I highly recommend this hotel it is definitely underrated!!! I cant stress that enough. We will definitely be staying again!

This hotel is in a wonderful location about .5 miles from the strip. Hotel is clean and quiet. Staff is polite and friendly. Great value for the price. The only issue is with it being on the river and near the strip there is a lot of traffic noise. So be warned if you are a light sleeper. Other than that wonderful stay 9 out of 10

Great stay! The room was very nice and came with a great creek-side view. Friendly and helpful staff, also an amazing, free breakfast every morning. And an indoor, heated pool! Like, could it get any better?! Yes! The location is also close to the strip, so if you don't feel like driving, the walk isn't unbearable. Most definitely recommend!

Beautiful rooms. Got a king with a fire place and a beautiful view of the river behind the hotel. Nice amenities with fitness room and guess laundry. Very warm, cozy, and clean overall.

It is a very cute hotel, with a beautiful vew.
The breakfast was always delicious, with a great variety to choose from.
The rooms were a bit dated, but seemed clean... until I found out we had some little "friends" follow us home.
That's right, bed bugs.
I will be contacting them, but I feel they will take appropriate action, the staff seemed quite nice.
Aside from the bed bugs, it was an excellent stay, I would rate them a 5 otherwise.

I have stayed at this motel thru 3 owner changes and it just seems to get better every time. Rooms are nice overlooking the running little river and they now serve a complete breakfast. At the end of the "strip" so is quieter than most.

Loved our honeymoon stay! Nice, clean room.. Comfy bed...Beautiful view.. Within walking distance to shopping... Very good prices!! Will definitely be coming back.

Clean, but cold in the room. Major draft from somewhere. Bathroom was cold too. Traffic could be heard all nite, too close to street. Probably a nice Summer stay place.

Sweet and charming. Very clean room with very comfortable bed and bedding. The staff is friendly and very hospitable. The scenery is gorgeous. Sitting oon my balcony now watching the river steam over icy rocks. It's pretty cold, so I'll not be out here long. Will definitely return for another visit.

Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is amazing. The breakfast offered is great, eggs and sausage, biscuits, pancakes, and waffles to start.... the breakfast area is kept extremely clean and the staff is so nice and helpful..

The hotel was a pleasant surprise... Especially for the price. Every room has a great balcony view overlooking the river. Room was nice and clean. Only complaint is something they can't do anything about: it's a bit noisy thru the night on the road. I believe it's because the opposite side of the road is a large stone wall and it echos all traffic noise toward the hotel. Again, something they can't do anything about but something you'll probably want to think about before booking.

Great views on a great balcony with awesome chairs. Nice indoor pool with a fire. Good breakfast. Kinda a small bathroom, but the shower was hot.

Nice place to stay. Raging river behind motel after the rain storms. They could change the mattress covers as ours has stains all over. Breakfast was pretty good.

My wife and I have stayed here twice and we haven't been disappointed either time. It is a great place to relax and have a drink on your balcony while listening to the river run. This place is very quiet and staff are very helpful. The only thing i would change is the air conditioner to cool the room a little bit faster

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, as was the setting. It was very nice being on the river. We loved the balcony out back. It also wasn't in the middle of the dowtown hub bub, but in walking distance of everything. We liked the pool, exercise room, there was even a sauna... Many things could change to up the star count. It is always little things that make a difference. The toilet seat in our room needed to be replaced, house keeping should have noticed and bought a $20 toilet seat and put it on. My 11 year old can do this. The curtains were unhooked on the wrong end and hanging down, easy fix and anyone can do it. The room was clean enough, but was musty. I think the a/c could do a better job of pulling moisture from the air. The actual job of an a/c unit. It was odd that there was a half wall out front instead of railing. It was like a sauna going to the room because the heat the a/c unit had no where to go. The rooms are a little small, but I guess they couldn't be larger because of the building foot print.

Room was very clean. Other than minimal vehicle noise it was quiet. Offered a great breakfast in the morning. Only complaint I really had was attempting to get out of the parking lot onto the road, but that's just the area in general. It's a great place to stay!

Definitely one of the best hotels I stayed in. I would have given it 5 stars but the bathroom needs some serious work. There's not a fan so you have to open the back door to air it out. The shower had pretty low pressure. The TV's need updating... But a side of that there was a lot of great things about this place. It's a very short and nice walk to the Gatlinburg strip. The views of the river off your balcony are awesome. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent.

The hotel is nicely situated at the edge of downtown Gatlinburg, close enough to walk and just far enough to not have 100% of the street noise. It is a touch noisy as the hotel rooms face both the street and the babbling river behind it. The hotel has a classic feel but the rooms are well kept with some modern touches and are a more than fair size. The hotel has a free breakfast that features eggs, waffles, breakfast meats, and coffee. The registration was quick and painless and the staff is friendly and nice. The room has excellent view of the River, the best in fact, and the small balconies offer quaint evening seating. The pool is indoors, offering something to do on the event of rain, and it's new and well maintained. All in all the stay was immensely enjoyable. I only went 4 starts as there were a few things that needed updating.

This is a great little hotel just before entering into downtown Gatlinburg. The hallways, foyer and especially the elevator are really small.... but it's a clean and affordable place to stay. The balcony alone made the stay worthwhile, amazing view literally OVER the river. The rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. We did have to call for clean pillowcases due to finding hairs, but those things happen. No big deal. Someone came to our room almost immediately and apologized endlessly, while giving us brand new pillows straight from the plastic wrap. The bathroom was a little weird because the doors that open to the balcony are right there in front of the vanity and dressing area, but curtains are available to pull for privacy. The tub was a bit outdated and stained from age; however, clean. The pool area was nice and clean as well. Nice little area to sit outside over the river. It can be a little noisy with the traffic being off a main road. The breakfast was great. Lots of options from cold to hot foods. I would most definitely stay here again and recommend to any family looking for a clean and affordable place to stay. Oh! And the little mountain rollercoaster is directly across the street! 😀

Fantastic!! We stayed for a week and cant wait to go back. The location is perfect walking distance to all the shops and attractions. All rooms have beautiful river views from the balcony's making them the perfect spot to sit and have coffee in the mornings. The rooms were very clean and the staff was great.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We booked online and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It is right before you hit the main street in Gatlinburg, so easy to enter and exit without too much hassle. The rooms were nice with a view of the street and river. The hotel had 1 room thick floors so you have windows on both sides. Also the front desk was full of that great southern hospitality we love. They really made us feel like family!

Love this hotel! I stay here every time I come to TN amazing people!! Rooms are always very clear. They have a really nice indoor people which is a plus coming down for a winter get a way!

Great room with a fireplace. Beatiful view of the river, especially on the top floor. Breakfast had a decent variety and was free, but not much space to eat. There was a slight issue booking with Expedia, but the hotel has resolved it and we stayed happy during our trip!

Our stay was very nice!!! The swimming area, rooms, lobby, and hallway very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the rooms where very spacious. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful view from every room over the river, friendly staff, and nice rooms. Good hot breakfast. Workout facility is small but functional, and indoor pool is nice. My only thought if we visit again is this hotel is not right in the middle of town, its a nuce little walk. If you want to be close to everything and not have to pay $ for parking, you may want something closer to town. Other than that, totally happy!

When I saw it was rated a 2 star hotel, I thought I was going to get a less-than-ideal room. I was blown away by the wonderful service, amenities, the view, and how nice the room was. For a night under a hundred, it was definitely worthwhile. The indoor pool is nice, the full breakfast is good, and the room is well kept and nice. I would stay here again.

Beautiful all the way around. The outside and lobby are rustic, the rooms are modern and beautiful. Each room has a balcony with a beautiful view. Very affordable and worth every penny. The breakfast was great too - get there early!

my husband and i spend two nights there. The staff was very helpful . The rooms are clean and the balcony is awesome. The only thing is, it's a 10 minute walk to town. No big deal because Everything is right there. Breakfast was fresh and had many choices. Great stay for the price. We would go back again.

This place is pretty good! It has great rooms! Beds are super comfy. I needed ketchup and when I went to get some, I received the whole bottle! Very great service. Would recommend.

Great view, decent price, and okay breakfast(But large selection). Elevator was a little bit sketchy, possibly something that may need to be worked on. No issue for me though, as I used the stairs the rest of the time. Only real negative experience I had was with housekeeping on my checkout day. At 10:30am, housekeeping came knocking on the door. We answered, only to have the housekeeping lady go "Are you checking out?" in a rude tone. Check out time was 11, and we were almost ready to go. So, I reminded her it was 10:30 and closed the door. Other than that. If you don't mind walking and want a cheap decent place to stay, this is the hotel for you.

The rooms were fancy and clean. It accommodated my needs. The breakfast in the morning was really great too! There's also a gym and an indoor pool to use.

I liked almost everything about our stay here. The breakfast is one of the best free breakfasts. The noise though is very bad. Even on an off-season, Sunday night stay, a restful nights sleep was impossible.

We stayed there out of season so the prices were very good. The view is beautiful, and the room is OK. The one thing that I was uncomfortable with was the house keeping. The day of our checkout they came to the room prior to the checkout time and just walked in 2 seconds after they knocked. I didn't even have time to open the door myself before the lady just felt free to walk in. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Much better than I expected for $50/night. Nice enough rooms, everything was clean, decent breakfast, and awesome view from the balcony over the river.

View was awesome, room not so much. Dirty sheets had to get guy at desk to bring new set. Seen roaches in bathroom. Once situated to where i could go to bed, the bed was comfy. Vending machines for drinks was not working on any floor.

For the price, this was a pretty decent hotel. It's a no-frills (except for the fantastic view) hotel. Compared to other places, the shower was so-so, the room wasn't the cleanest, and our room had a lady bug problem. But, the view of our room (and all rooms) was spectacular. I also enjoyed the breakfast, again, it's no-frills, but the Tennessee biscuits and gravy is a nice touch. Moreover, the whole staff was very friendly and accommodating.

There are definitely better places out there. But for the price, I can't complain about this place.

The room was decent. Comfortable beds. Relatively clean.
Don't look too hard - you'll see the evidence of neglect. The bathroom shower fixtures were coming out of the wall.
On one side of our room we had a view of the river. The other side of the room was facing the main road and it was rather loud.
The free breakfast was good. The food was hot and plentiful.

Updated rooms were nice, it's next to the busy road so a lot of traffic noise on the front, but balcony overlooking the creek is relaxing and pretty view on the rear.

Great, fast and pleasant check in. Hotel staff are nice, polite, friendly and helpful. We love the rate and the heated indoor pool. We also love the shaded parking for our car, a fire pit with nice chairs, a balcony overlooking the river, a delicious morning breakfast which is included, and it's a short walk from the main downtown Gatlinburg strip. We never had to drive or pay for parking. Great overall experience and we will definitely come and stay here again.

This is by far one of the best cheap hotels in Gatlinburg following the Quality Inn & Suites of Hemlock Street. I travel to Gatlinburg 4-5 x per year. That is how much I love it. I know almost all the lodging located in the Main Street ( called Parkway). Gatlinburg hotels ( all of them) are very outdated ! They all have that 70s-80s look inside, which is OK because I have stayed in many of the older ones too.

The 2 hotels mentioned above are updated compared to all the older versions, have good breakfast and clean. The only drawback is that its located on the far end of the Main Street ( Parkway). In my case I don't care because Ia have gone so many times to Gatlinburg that the locations doesn't matter anymore as long as you have a car or can walk.

Now my favorite of all times is having the cabin experience. I love Sky Harbor Resort because its in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and there are Bears up there. Just take a look into VRBO and you will find great cabins under $120 a night. The same price you pay for hotels downtown.

Friendly staff, really unique views with the river balcony. This hotel is within walking distance to the downtown shops. Parking is available, but would be challenging with a large SUV/Truck. Driving in and out of the hotel was a little challenging at times d/t heavy traffic which seemingly never ends.

I liked it Here. It was my second stay. The rooms are nice and clean. The do have a pool and its just a few minutes from downtown. One point: just one slow elevator.

Staff was extremely friendly. View was fabulous. Highly recommended. Would definitely go back. Additionally the town has so much to do and see.

Baymont to the rescue! Absolutely amazing staff, unbelievably clean rooms with fireplaces, balcony with an amazing view over the river & 24 hour heated pool!!! To add to it they have a very nice fire pit with a sitting area on the river!!! Highly reccomend this hotel & we will be returning with our kiddos in the near future!! Thank you Richard & the lady at the front desk for all you have done for us during our stay!!!

Loved the whole experience. The people were extremely helpful & very kind. Jetta & Richard at the desk were awesome then hard working Melinda in the kitchen the breakfast each morning was very appreciated & delicious. Just want to let you know that was the first time to visit and will not be the last. Thanks for everything.

Great location on the edge of town, so you can avoid traffic and use the bypass. Not a lot of traffic going by, so the room is quiet for being right on top of the main thoroughfare. Room was clean, beds very comfortable, nice little balcony over the river and delicious breakfast buffet with fresh waffles. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is a good bang for the buck. Room was clean. Bathroom smelled of mildew but it was tolerable. Really nice sitting on the balcony by the river at night. Breakfast is one of the better ive had at hotels as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody.

Very clean, right when you enter gatlinburg so there's very little traffic, we used the bypass to get around to the other side of town when it's bisey. Great value! Will stay again
