Only met a friend at the hotel. We had a couple drinks and went about our day. Was a nice place for the little I saw of it. All the employees I interacted with were cool. Parking was a pain though. (Modified cars beware if you are lowered I scraped bad pulling in And my car is bagged. )

Decided to go to Helen and booked a room here for a night. The front desk employees were friendly and welcoming, the whole place was nice looking and clean. We got a suite room that had it's own balcony,jacuzzi tub and interior hallway access. The room was clean smelled nice. I would definetley stay here again next time we go.

No frills, very serviceable, clean hotel in Helen. Great location right next to a solid restaurant/bar with live music. Rooms are nice and big (stayed in a 2 queen room with mircrowave and fridge). Hotel also has a good breakfast, however their weird coffee machine is garbage. Might as well make a cup in the room.

Our first the room only had one electrical outlet working out of 5, so we had to move. After relocating everyone & everything, we settle in and go to use the restroom, only to find out that someone else USED the restroom and left it for us. And I do not mean a little pee on the ring, I mean they got it all over everything!! 😡😡 Who does that?!?!?! Gross!

The only reason we didn't leave is because we paid in advance and it's non-refundable. It really is a shame, the hotel itself has potential. The pool is nice and the lobby seemed very clean, it's just a shame about the rooms. I gave it 2 stars to show it wasn't a total dump, but I certainly won't waste my money here again.

The location is great. It's a short, 2 min, walk to the shops on Main St. The breakfast is the average fare with waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal options, etc... Sadly, the room was a bit disappointing. The floor had a wet/sticky feel to it with a weird smell; it turned the bottoms of our feet blackish. The soundproofing between rooms and to the outside is not bad, but not great either. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Everything went great. I made a mistake while booking, thinking I got a Mountain View room, once we arrived I discovered that I picked the wrong room type. Thanks too "K" at the front desk was able to correct it with no up charge. Breakfast was as expected, scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, cereal and so on... Just an FYI !!!Only the "Mountain View" rooms have a private balcony and indoor hallway!!! Very short Walking distance to River Tubes and Downtown from this Hotel.

The motel was nice, friendly and comfortable. Also everything is within walking distance of a few blocks which it is great to walk off all the food and sweets you eat. LOL. The breakfast they serve was good and plenty of choices too. Our room was clean and the floors may creek in a spot or two and the tub outdated but it serves the purpose with comfort without a problem. We would return again to this motel.

The King suite was very nice. Plenty of room with a small balcony. The Baymont offers a Hot and Cold breakfast that was very good. The hotel is within walking distance of Helen; so, it was nice just to park the vehicle and not fight any traffic. I will definitely book a King Suite room at the Baymont the next time I visit Helen, Georgia.

Clean and comfortable rooms. excellent location in the middle of all the things in Helen. Lots of restaurants near by and their morning breakfast will not disappoint anyone. Thank you to all the staff and we will see you guys again in the summer.

Excellent value with location and great recommendation by staff. They were willing and have helped our trip go smoothly. We parked our car and dint need to move since we walked to town for shops and its next to 3 or 4 good restaurants. We ate out and walk to our room with a balcony and it felt comfortable. We will be back again.

Great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Love it. The suite is great. Enjoyed my balcony. Will visit again. Was a great place to spend my birthday at. Everything is convenient.

We loved our stay, great location that is close enough to walk into town. Right next door to a few fantastic restaurants, front desk was able to point us to the best ones to visit. Each morning we were greeted by a very friendly breakfast attendant and the front desk. The breakfast itself was more than your average continental with biscuits, sausage, eggs and gravy. Rooms were way bigger than I expected and had a fridge which was super nice. W

We visited during a slower time of year so some of the things in town were closed for the season but the front desk was able to point us in the right direction to still enjoy our time. Will be staying when we come back in the summer!

Came to Helen as a little get away vacation and decided to stay here at Baymont because of the reviews. So glad I did!!

We wanted a king room but they were sold out so we ended up getting a room with 2 queen beds as we were only staying for one night..it was lovely!! Better then we thought it was going to be; Super spacious which we didn't expect, it's bigger then the average hotel room. Flat screen tv, mini fridge that's on the bigger side, microwave. The furniture looked like it was new, dark wood (which I love!) and there was even a little mini table that you can pull over for the side of the bed that doesn't have the nightstand.

Breakfast was indeed a hot breakfast with sausage, gravy, biscuits, eggs and pastries, and it was delicious!!! We are so glad that we went off the reviews because the stay was great! We will definitely stay here again next time we come to Helen!

For the price I’m leaving 5 stars. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and bedding. We got a King bedroom and it was very spacious for the price. I was impressed. It also had a pullout couch bed. That was NOT comfortable for adults but perfect for our two small kids ! The weekend we stayed it was very busy with lots of kids sports teams so the noise above us our first night was awful but we are used to noises and it did quiet down.. again, for the price ...

The breakfast was decent. They had Costco muffins, 4 types of cereal, biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, waffle maker , toast, apple and orange juice and while and soy milks available.

Good location close to lots of different places to eat.

We brought along our dog and they were great with her, they even had doggy treats and doggy poo pick up bags.

The suite was great, it was clean and had all you needed, microwave, fridge, blow dryer, iron a board and pretty scenery out the balcony. Would recommend to all. Great breakfast, lots to choose.

The room was far more spacious than I expected. It was clean, well kept, with extremely comfortable sheets, mattress and comforter. Considering it was a last minute option, it was great. My only concern was it a little pricey, but given that it was the last room available that night it's perhaps understandable.

The hotel is centrally located in Helen. Though it is an older hotel, the rooms were clean and the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies during check--in were a big hit! The breakfast was hot and really hit the spot on the cool morning we were there. The price was the best we found in the area.

I did not personally stay at the hotel rather my parents did. I arrived in the morning to have breakfast at the hotel. The service and conditions of the establishment seemed fine. Nothing amazing nor anything bad to say about the place from my short visit.

Our stay here at Baymont in Helen Ga was awesome. The staff were great from start to finish. Rooms were clean. Location couldn't have been better. Dont go to the gas station directly across the old lady is rude in there but thats not on Baymont just saying. There is virtually no walking to food. The hotel convenience store is well stocked. They were very knowledgeable if the area and its attractions. One of the best hotel stays i ever had.

Locks were problematic. Not just the room we rented but other room guests. The room was great. Clean spacious, definitely would stay again.

We have came here twice and coming back again ! Normally the rooms are a bit too dark but I'm okay w it . And also we've went and the shower didn't have hot water even after it had ran for twenty minutes on the max heat ? Still nothing . But we love this place . I wouldn't personally stay after over two nights !! It has nice scenery and the bed are very very comfortable!

The room was very big,comfortable bed.
I gave a 3,because housekeeping did a horrible job cleaning the room and making the bed! We stayed 2 nights there.
The desk clerk was nice but not very helpful when asking for directions..he gave me the wrong directions! And he advised its where the manager always points,I told him to advise his manager,that its the wrong direction. Otherwise,the stay was relaxing!

This is a good room at a great price. The room was average but very spacious. Our room had king bed, that was really comfortable, and a love. The bathroom is huge. It also within walking distance of many restaurants and shops.

The location in reference to downtown Helen is great. The hotel could be better. Our room had a faint smell of urine when we first entered and there was a water line seen in the tub so I wasn't convinced it had been cleaned well. The beds were nice and comfortable and you could tell a lot of consideration went towards sleeping comfort. However, the outlet behind the table between the beds was loose and the cord for the lamps kept falling out. There was a switch on the wall that we could not figure out what it went to and we could not regulate the temperature in our room with the thermostat on the wall (if it's not functional, remove it). The microwave in the room was archaic. I almost felt like I needed a manual but figured it out without. To be comfortable as I slept, that was chirped but satisfaction was not.

Overall experience was very good. The full breakfast was a plus. Room was roomy and beds very comfortable. Decor needed updating and shower fixture was broken but working. This did not, however, hinder our overall satisfaction with the hotel. We would stay here again.

This hotel was awsome. My friend and i had a wedding to attend so our check in time had to be different than hotel policy in order to prepare for the wedding. They were able to arrange our check-in=time so we could refresh after traveling and before wedding. Great team of employees this hotel should be proud of them all.

The staff was great. they were professional, efficient and extremely friendly. The rooms were nice although not luxurious. The breakfast bar was great. The pool was small but nice. For a family who will be out and about during the day, the sleeping accommodations are fine. I gave it a lower point value because we were looking for ambiance. We are retired and were just looking for a place by the river to sit and relax. A town house would have been a better choice for us. But the staff was great!

Well when we first arrived my daughter dropped her brand new bottle of wine outside the bedroom door, but fortunately the manager was outside talking to some employees and saw the whole incident. Not 10 minutes later she was knocking at our door with another bottle of local wine. My daughter was so happy with her gift, we couldn't believe her generosity. Everyone at the hotel was great and the room was too. For us it was a 5 star stay and we will definitely stay in the future.
