This place just needs to spend a little on maintenance. Both back doors are broken/hard to open. Got to my room. Had to pull the bed away from wall to plug in both lamps to charge my phone. Toilet was running all morning and had to call maintenance. Housekeeping was great! They did a great job. That's why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Thank you housekeeping!

I almost forgot... They are using the covid as an excuse to cheap out on breakfast. Breakfast is a joke in a sack. Just forget about the customer service up front. It sucks.

Stayed there for 2 nights. The staff was very courteous and friendly and helpful buttttt on the second day we noticed our stuff had been moved around by housekeeping. I have never had a hotel come and clean a room for just a 2 night stay. Kind of disconcerting, very glad I never keep my wallets in the room. We were also charged twice. Alsoooo there was a couple engaging in oral pleasures right out in the open with their window right open. Not the hotel's fault, but this hotel is supposedly known for harboring "questionable" female companionship. Just so you know. Won't be staying here again.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and spent about $100. The room was clean and the staff were welcoming. The breakfast exceeded expectations and it was the perfect location for all kinds of sight seeing. It’s within walking distance of the capitol building and about 5 minutes from the Missouri State Penitentiary. I would recommend staying here for a nice stay at a reasonable price.

The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. I had an issue with wifi connectivity, and when we couldn't resolve the issue, I was moved to a room with better reception. Honestly, the only reason I don't give the Baymont inn Jefferson City 5 stars is they need a technological overhaul. Otherwise it's a great place to stay in Jefferson City.

The inside of the hotel feels a little cramped, but it's been updated. The lobby had a strong fragrant smell on our visit. The rooms were nice, clean, a/c worked, bathrooms looked fine. Front desk staff was polite and greeted you every time you came in.

Dont judge a book by its cover. This place isn't fancy by any means but the price and convenience it's a definite. Right off the hyw quiet easy access. Guy at counter was nice feller. The rooms were clean you could tell the had updated and remodeled recently. What gets the 5 stars besides all that was the shower. Yes shower it was awesome. Would definitely stay again

Pros: Clean. Good location. Comfy bed. Adequate continental breakfast.
Cons: You can tell its an older building. Some decor was dated. Had to take an elevator ride and a long walk just to get to the ice machine. When we booked , the site we were on indicated there was a bar in the hotel. When we got to the hotel, they informed us the bar hasn't been there for over a year.
Overall: It's a decent hotel for the price. I would stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel with a group of students. We were treated nicely and we had no real big issues with any of the rooms. Even so, this hotel really needs a remodel. Our toilet was wobbly, the pipes squealed, and our TV was placed on top of the microwave for some reason. Also, the breakfast is not the best. None of my students enjoyed it and they will eat just about anything. Everything looked clean though and I did have a good night sleep.

Great location. This hotel is within walking distance to the Capitol buildings, free tours. There is no pool. Coffe and hot chocolate are available all day. The staff is friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The hotel and rooms had an off smell however, I believe it is the cleaning agents used. The hotel is clean. You absolutely can not beat the price of rooms here considering its location and view of the Missouri state Capitol building from most rooms. There is a Mediterranean Grill and another restaurant a few buildings from the parking lot and an antique store on the opposite end of the parking lot. Plenty of places to walk.

Staff was nice and helpful. It was near the hospital and pretty nice. Bathroom needed a little updating or small repairs but I'd stay again. Breakfast was pretty typical for a hotel..nice variety.

We stayed here one night just to hang out in town. The location was great for visiting the main attractions. Our rooms were clean and had basic amenities. There were two chairs- a sitting chair and a desk chair with wheels. The room also had a mini-fridge and a small microwave. Breakfast included biscuits/gravy, bagels, waffles, yogurt, cereals, etc. We were comfortable during our stay.

Housekeeping sucks. My sister made her own bed because that is just what she does, so they didn't bother to make the other bed. Only brought fresh towels

Decent value for money. Right near the start of a bike trail to a grocery store and a short ride over to the start of the Katy Trail. We stayed here after taking the Amtrak into Jefferson City.

I come to Jefferson City at least once a year for business activities and conferences. This particular time, I stayed at the Baymont Inn & Suites even though my conference's were across the street at a different hotel. The Baymont Inn & Suites had more favorable prices, the rooms were cleaner and the service was friendlier. It was definitely worth my trouble of driving across the street to attend my conferences and exchange for a nicer room for less money. I wish the Baymont had the capabilities of housing our conferences. I do believe they had a continental breakfast although I didn't take advantage of it.
Anytime you're in Jefferson City check out the Baymont Inn and Suites as I'm sure you will find them comfortable whether you are in town on business or a family trip.

This place was very clean but just a little over priced for what it offered. The staff were very helpful as well. You'll just have to check it out sometime for yourselves.

Very clean. Nice amenities. Beds are pretty soft, but I prefer them that way. Courteous staff. The hotel offers a bereavement rate. Noon check-out. Easily accessible from the highway. I would definitely stay here again!

If you are taller than 5 ft, you better be physically fit to take a shower. You'll feel like Buddy the Elf in there. The toilet had a hard time flushing a small amount of toilet paper. I won't stay here again.

It smelled like marijuana as soon as we got to our floor. My husband informed the front desk and nothing was done about it. Thankfully the smell didn't come into our room. Other things include a short shower head and a missing bath mat and extra soap.

Good prices, good staff, and a good value for a place in Jeff city. Only thing it needs is a pool, then this will be a 5 star!

The hotel is average and provides typical amenities. The bathrooms have some stains in the corners in some places, also. Come here for a typical chain hotel experience.

I checked in late and had issuea cuz tjey couldn't find my reservation. I used a third party so I had to call them to get it worked out. Turns out someone else was checked into my reservation (on accident but still not sure how they didn't cross check the name/id). They upgraded me to a suite to help make up for the inconvenience. Once the mistake was discovered, they did a great job helping me get into a room while they handled everything else internally.

Place smells musty, when we asked, in advance, for a room close to either the elevator or ground floor exit we were told no problem. They told us we were 2 doors from elevator and turned out to be the end of the hall, 7 doors down.

Clean conformable room that didn't seem too outdated. Small bar but the prices weren't bad. The selection of beer is pretty lacking. Free wifi is avaliable and the hot breakfast was free as well. Parking seems like it could be an issue. I expected to find no rooms available when I arrived but much to my surprise they still had vacancies. They also give veterans a discount.

5

The hotel wasn't bad at all. Our issue was with the bar. We had a group of 8 waiting for the bar to open at 4 we were told she was running late and wouldn't be there til 5. We left for dinner at 530 and she still wasn't there. The bartender didn't show up until after 7 pm when happy hour was over. The hotel gave us a free drink for the trouble. It would have been nice to be able to have some drinks at the bar before dinner like we had planned since the bar was supposed to open at 4. Once the bar did open the bartender had an attitude toward us all for a while. The hotel staff was wonderful we had no issues with the rooms or their staff.

Very good place to stay, price is affordable and pets are welcome. Room was clean and pleasant. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, especially Jeff, the general manager. The breakfast bar was very good, clean and well stocked and staff friendly. Location is very convenient, a couple of blocks from the Capitol. We greatly enjoyed our two night stay.

Decent room. The air conditioning units shut on & off which is annoying. The hallways smell weird. The breakfast bar was a little dirty and they didn't have their cold foods in a fridge. The breakfast attendant was asking for tips which seemed a bit tacky. The front desk clerk didn't say a word to us on our way out.

The room was a ajouned room they called a suite had two bathrooms two fridges and microwaves only reason they did this was because the room with the bed had a horrible heating air-conditioning unit and the room with the couch hand a nonfunctional tv. When i went to turn on the heat in the room with the bed the whole front of.the unit came off scared me very outdated hotel. The room doors are so heavy that all night long you hear the doors slam this was my second time staying there for buisness did not like it either time

It's a very mediocre hotel. The hallways have a bit of a smell to them and overall the amenities are not up to those I've experienced in other hotels I've stayed at (Best Western) on business trips like this. No hit tub it indoor pool. The one computer in their "business center" was out of order, and the gym had only a couple pieces of equipment and doubled as the laundry room.

The hotel staff however have been excellent! Very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. Easily the best part of my stay here.

The atmosphere was less than desireable. The manager was rude and unwilling to work with us. And stated " They have to have credit cards because they have ripped us off in the past." First off we have never stayed there. Second off She needs to realize that not every company has C.L.C. cards like ours we have ours faxed prior to our arrival. So if you are a C.L.C. company or card holder DO NOT STAY HERE THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND!
