OK in its heyday this was the Seven Seas Hotel and was a primo place. It is showing its age but I have many memories there so it always ranks high with me even though not everything in the rooms may work 100% and there is peeling paint here and there. (Of course my wife does not see it though that lens.)

Part of the pool was closed and there weren't any clean towels available. The actual sleeping room was okay. The shower had the orange residue around the corners, so not thoroughly cleaned regularly and there was someone else's leftovers left in the fridge. Breakfast was decent and the staff we spoke with we're helpful though.

Room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. We got the whole pool area to ourselves since it was a weekday and not many people there but I took my niece down the waterslide and there was ice in it so I cut up my elbow pretty good. Also, friendly staff.

Nice rooms. Great cleaning service. Polite staff all around. Great parking as well. Interesting nautical theme for the public areas. My room was very comfortable.

I cannot comment on rooms, but the meeting rooms are of good size and from what I saw there are plenty. The only complaint I could have is no bathroom located near where our party was located. This event was on the 3rd floor. We did also visit the pool and found it was colder than what you normally would see for a hotel. The slide was a great attraction, but the sze of the pool was much to be desired. It seemed only large enough to provide a landing from the slide. The children's play area looked nice but was closed for maintenance. Good place to stay, just nothing above and beyond

I stay here every time I come to Mandan for classes I have to take. The staff is always friendly and get you what you need. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is horrible though always the same thing. Other then the breakfast good place to stay.

Stayed in Room 221. The room was well maintained, hotel was well done, AC worked great. Bed was really firm which is not what I like so I couldn't sleep well but everything was fresh. The food for breakfast was hot and kept up. Had a functional pool and hot tub which made us happy. We got in late from a wedding and the fire alarms would randomly go off throughout the night. Made for a difficult night of sleep however they were very nice and apologetic. There was a fault in the system and they were working on fixing it. They did discount the room and were very nice about it. Overall we had a great experience.

Had to change rooms twice before we had a decent room. Run down. But the staff was very helpful.

I loved the pool. It was great for the kids. The ballroom was decorated just like the bride and groom wanted.

Jenna at front desk awesome. We able to change rooms so our son could stay with us the 2nd night! New rooms renovated in one section are really nice!!!

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was firm, but slept well. The air conditioner worked great. The bar and grill offered good meals. I had the crispy shrimp basket with a baked potato. A real baked potato, not steamed. Our waiter/bartender was friendly and took good care of us. The breakfast was pretty much the usual motel fare but served the purpose. Overall, I was happy with my stay.

Okay, has water slides but hot tub was broke. Friendly staff... continental breakfast is pretty much the same as everywhere else. Nothing special about it but it's a descent place to hang your hat for a night.

The room was fine. The convention hall wasn't as clean as I wanted it to be. Breakfast was okay.

It's sad. It's really run down compared to what it was when it was a seven seas. The walls are super thin so you can basically hear conversations from the person in the next room.

Price was ok but we brought the kids to swim, pool is freezing. Very narrow hallways smell like mold, paint and wallpaper peeling. Ice machines out of order, mens bathroom in pool area out of order. Pool area has gravel that really hurts to walk on. Hot tub is nice. Heater in room is very loud. Toilet runs every few minutes which is also noisy, and beds are haaard. Not much sleep last night. I do see them fixing tile and other things so that is nice to see. The attached restaraunt (Seven Seas) is great.

Location was good.Room looked ok but if you look closely you can see peeling and cracks. Our fridge started making high squealing noise in middle of night and toilet ran off and on. Pool was ok it said must wear wrist band. But it was so full half the people didn't have bands and nobody checked them. Hot tub was out of order when got there couple hours later they had open but was colder than pool. Was not impressed.Would never come again. The breakfast was good.

Nice staff. The first two rooms I was in were not made. Actually pretty dirty. I was here for a conference. The conference was run well and was Orginzed nicely. I would like to see the conference move to a more Eastern ND. The food was not great for the lunch. They did have more than enough though which was nice. The mid morning snack was sweet rolls. Not a lot of healthy options. The room we were in was well put together and the tables had nice space between them and the table clothes were very clean. This all being said the staff did make changes to rooms and helping me get a new room. It did take three rooms before I got the room in the picture. Hopefully they can figure out the room cleaning schedule better in the future!

Nice, clean rooms. Reasonably priced. Nice restaurant and bar with a great bunch of employees who are friendly and always ready to help.

Mirror in bathroom so low could only see from my collar bone down, I'm only 6 foot tall also need to be really short in the shower too.Bathrooms need to be remodeled soon please. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean and smelled like bleach when we first arrived. There is a restaurant attached to hotel and is a little on the pricey side. $8.00 for a slice of cake 😱.

We attended a birthday party. The room was perfect for the occasion, spacious and private. Plenty of tables and chairs

Positive: Pool is nice for smaller kids. Negative: Pool water is cold. Rooms are dingy. Hall way smells. Small breakfast area, definitely crowded.

This motel is decent for the price. Out first room was dirty but they were more than willing and nice about switching is to a different room. We had a lot of fun and spent a lot of time in the pool water slide area. Will definitely come back

Price was decent. Rooms were nice, however the beds were hard. Bar is nice and pool area is great. Employees were really nice. The pizza in the bar was kinda soggy, I wouldn't order that again.

The budget-friendly room was a bit dated however, it was clean and comfy. Breakfast was good with alot of different options. The pool was fun...the kids loved the slide!! Thanks for the stay we will be back!!

Hotel was good. Good service, clean rooms, quick assistance. Only complaints would be 1. The lack of light in the rooms. Even with every light turned on in the rooms they felt very dark. And 2. The pool, while very enjoyable with a great slide, was fairly unattended. There was generally a lack of pool towels and you would have to remember to check beforehand otherwise you would be taking a wet walk back to your room.

I like this place for a few reasons. Number one, they give a veteran's discount . Number 2, they have handicap parking and handicap rooms. Number three, they have free hot breakfast. They also have a swim area for little children with water shooting out from all different kinds of places. You talk about letting the kids get exhausted so they get a good night's sleep or a good afternoon nap. Number five, they have a bar and grill so you don't have to leave the building and lastly the rooms are equipped with everything you need and the place is clean. Never since I've been using this place have I heard of anyone getting bit by bed bugs. Enjoy your stay at Baymont Inn and the other affiliated facilities. So make sure you sign up for that program and get credit.

My father(80) and I(55) took a trip across the country. We came from Michigan and our first stop was in Mandan, ND and we stayed here Saturday May 6th And Sunday May 7th at this Baymont Inn while we visited with family in the area. This place took very good care of all our needs. Kelly at the front desk took care of us like we were her only customers... amazing job! The accommodations were perfect Great view. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. We continued on though Yellowstone, Bryce, Zion, Sequoia National forest and on to Long Beach to stay on the Queen Mary for a couple nights. Followed the Route 66 a little on the way home with stops in Texas, Arkansas, and finally back home! Nobody took better care of us than Kelly and the Baymont Inn in Mandan ND..... Thank you for helping us make a very memorable trip special!

The pool is not a swimming pool - more like a kids play pool. The bar/restaurant was good. The room was clean and up to date. Breakfast was a little lacking but not bad

This Hotel exceeded my expectations, had an awesome stay! Awesome pool, great atmosphere, I just wish the main desk attendants seemed more involved. Other wise from that I would stay here again, if I ever visit the area again!

We had two parties they're in the same weekend. A surprise 50th and a kids pool party. The hotel staff was very friendly and super accommodating! Both parties were a success! Allison was awesome to work with and made sure that everything went well!!

The rooms were small and not maintained very well. The bar only had one bartender and it took a long time to get our drinks. When a party was scheduled for 50 people. The bartender was very nice though. There were mix ups with the rooms that were booked. And literally every time we walked by the front desk someone was having some sort of issue.

Parking lot was icy, but they salted it the day after I go there. Rooms were kinda small but the service was really good for the most part. They kept the coffee filled and food out for the conferences.

Bay mount Inn & Suites is a clean, comfortable, warm place that is very kid friendly. Food was satisfying. It is very close to fuel & Walmart if you need. Just blocks from I-94.

Good service. Winter storm had us stranded and they were very hospitable. Rooms were well kept and clean. Thermostat had something wrong, but other than that very good.

Very nice property with a very accommodating staff. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling through Bismarck.

It was having some renovation done but the area was kept pretty neat. We had my nephew's birthday pool party here. The kids had a blast!

I've been attending work conferences here for several years. Quality of the rooms is usually poor as nothing ever seems completely clean. As far is staff is concerned there seems to be an even split of competent and incompetent workers. The meals served at the event are average. Meat is often dry, never enough plates, staff seems overwhelmed. The bar and grill is almost always understaffed, despite the hotel knowing of our conferences well in advance. Finally, I have to say that during my last two visits, I have seen some improvements in some of these areas, but not enough to make me look forward to coming to these events. I suppose the pirate statue is pretty neat though.

Hotel is becoming old and outdated. We were promised 3 hotel rooms next to each other for after the wedding event we had there, but we didn't get any rooms next to each other 104, 109, and 136 not even close. Another guests room was upstairs and the door didn't even lock so we had to request a new room.

Clean and comfortable, our kids liked the waffles and pool! Ended up staying in town longer than plan so was very nice the have the microwave and fridge. Would stay again.

Clean, friendly and helpful staff who can actually hold a conversation if the opporotunity arrises. Linens were what you ve come to expect from hotel/motels of any kind: scratchy, immediately pulled off the bed, and possibly contaminated...or possibly pregnant. But the value for the money paid is very satisfactory. And if you have the karma, sometimes a much needed place of safety and peace can be found there.

I have stayed here many times. I always have problems with check in. they are under staff at the front desk, found food in the microwave twice on check in, ac and frigerator is not working many times. On the plus side the beds are comfortable.

Just what we needed for a good night's sleep. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was eggs, kielbasa, waffles, apples, oranges, etc etc. Easy access to the interstate.

We always stay on our way through ND. Hard to find awesome service and amenities going cross country, so be realistic. It's not LA or Palm Springs but a smallish town in North Dakota. I prefer Hilton brand, but this Best W. is good and fun for kids. Near breakfast places AND Starbucks. I've always had a great night's rest here and I'm a light sleeper.
