I'm simple terms, this is the place to stay in Armidale. The rooms are great, the hosts are personable and the bar & restaurant are up among the best I've been in.

Very helpful staff but could use an update to the decor and gym. Restuarant was great.

Over pricy

Comfortable, clean room. Quite adequate for a one night stop over. We'll appointed restaurant and bar. Small meals.. striving for haute cuisine, but less elaborate and more attention to tasty, healthy, home style may be preferable.

Wonderful. After a long trip falling into a beautifully presented bed in a warm room was the best feeling. Bath towels fluffy and ample. Rooms very wuiet.

Booked online...The hotel looks okay from the outside and the older portion of the hotel housing the restaurant looks quite grand....However, the rooms are tired and in need of a refresh (yes, the sheets were 'crisp and white', but not much else made the room feel comfortable). My biggest gripe was the fact that the male owner/manager should not have any contact with the public. When I discovered I could earn frequent flyer points during my stay, I approached him and asked if I could add them to my account...His terse response was 'later'...When I asked him what he meant, he said he'd fix it with me when I checked out. When I came to check out I duly followed up and he said I could not add the stay to my frequent flyer points because the room was booked through an online 3rd party....He said he meant to tell me the previous day (I was at breakfast for 30 minutes after making the enquiry, so I doubt he was being completely truthful). Not only that, but he then started going on about how the 3rd party take 10% of his fee etc etc..In essence, trying to justify why I didn't get any points. In essence, his manner and approach are totally unsuited to the hospitality industry. Overall the hotel was okay, but I'd never stay there again - or recommend the hotel. Even the simplest person knows that 'word of mouth' is your best advertising.

Clean and Quiet. Though it is an older Motel it was very clean and presented well. The bed and pillows were comfortable, We stayed in one of the front rooms and did not hear any traffic noise or bumping around from neighbouring rooms. The minibar facility was good. Meals to room were basic (not from restaurant menu, I don't know why) but still good. Staff were friendly and helpful, wireless internet worked fine. Pre arranged check-in took about 1 min, check-out took about 2 mins.
