My family and I booked an afternoon tea for 8 for my daughter's birthday. I was very impressed at the level of service that we received, although it was during the social distancing prior to the Covid19 lockdown, we could not have received a better experience. The tea was fabulous; sandwiches and cakes were amazing and certainly a great selection. Thank you to all the staff for such a lovely afternoon

Wherever I travel I always try to stay in a BW hotel as they are always of great quality and good value
The Salford Hall Hotel is another prime example of this
The building is old and beautiful and looks amazing
Check in was really easy and quick, friendly staff. The room was great, usual amenities.
The room itself was old, but not in a bad way, more like vintage, and loved it. The bathroom on the other hand was very modern.
Breakfast is from the menu and was really tasty.
Would stay again anytime

Went for an Afternoon Tea today. Lovely surroundings. Reception staff were helpful. Showed your table. Asked straight away if we wanted tea or coffee. Served with a pot of piping hot coffee within minutes. Shortly after our afternoon tea was served. This consisted of warm rolls and cheese scones with tasty filling. A lovely tasty strawberry moose and three varieties of cakes. And of course lovely warm fruit scones with plenty of strawberry jam and clotted cream. We served by Josh and Chloe and wanted for nothing. Would recommend Salford Hall to anyone.

Everything was perfect... The staff were extremely helpful and informative. The room (no. 9) was lovely and we loved all the quirky features. Breakfast was well presented and the waitress was friendly and professional. We will definitely return, we had a great experience here, celebrating our Anniversary.

What a wonderfully historic place. Spotlessly clean. Great shower and good lighting in our en-suite. Lovely quiet room albeit a bit cramped. Excellent bed linen, but not-so-good pillows. Very approachable and knowledgeable staff.

Visually stunning and imposing from the outside. Reception is attractive. But the rooms in the courtyard are strange, like a hybrid British/US strip motel. The room decor was okay, but very dated. Needs total renovation. The shower had barely any water pressure. Less than I'd expect from a £95/night hotel.

Had a really lovely time. The staff were brilliant and we were made to feel at home. The only slight negative I can think of is that the bath could've done with a better clean. Would definitely go back again

7

Our second visit. It's a very attractive old building inside and out and is very comfortable. Leather sofas in the bar with good food in the bar or restaurant. An open fire in the reception area. Breakfast is fresh, tasty and plentiful. The staff smile and are very helpful. The rooms are clean, and the two we have stayed in, spacious. The only reason for four stars is that the shower in room 16 was not good but we reported it and hopefully it will be dealt with.

Really lovely wedding venue. The hall is grade 1 listed and as such had lots of lovely period features. The flip side to this is that disabled access can be problematic, however, the staff do their very best to accommodate the needs of guests.
It's very easy to find just off the A46. And there is ample parking.

We had a lovely six course taster menu here. The food was delicious, the service friendly and a reasonably priced wine list. Would visit again.

Such a lovely hotel. Really let down by the loud wedding on the ground floor. Couldn't sleep. Otherwise such a beautiful building steeped in history and surrounded by wonderful grounds.

Hotel was nice. The room I got in the Tudor extension was more than adequate, Beds comfy, good ensuite and good sized tv... Although my friend was not as happy stayed in the main building and said he had no sleep what so ever all week. I think he's scared of "ghosts". I myself am a non believer but he was adamant there was something in his room. I'd visit again. Not sure he would haha

The rooms are of a good size, with tea and coffee make facilities too. However only really enough milk for 2 drinks. These are topped up each day. In the tudor suites you can hear every move from people above too. Overall a good experience and would recommend the hotel as a base.

My husband and I had our first experience of dining at Salford Hall Evesham on Mothers Day which also happened to be my birthday. We were very impressed with every course of the meal and of the standard. We both had the roast beef, very tasty and juicy. The service was excellent with the staff being very attentive. We look forward to our next visit.

7

A nice hotel with an unusal layout as our bedroom had a bathroom upstairs but was done to a high spec. The bedrooms neded a lick of paint but that didn't bother us. Its a very old building as looks very impressive. The staff were great and very helpful...especially trying to get us a taxi to stratford for the night. The afternoon tea was superb!! Highly recommended it. Nearish to Warwick Castle which we got free entry too...

Lovely room, breakfast was very nice. Unfortunately no lift, but disabled access rooms were available on ground floor, but then steps into dining hall meant hotel wasn't very suitable for disabled access. Lovely looking period building.

Friendly staff but the place is a little quaint. Some interesting rooms. Marked down because of indifferent bar. They serve cask ales but on two separate occasions, it's been undrinkable. Steer clear of those!
