This is quite an old hotel but super clean and super comfortable. Charming staff. A cold towel and delicious drink on arrival were extremely welcome. Great location especially if you need one of the embassies. 5 minute walk to the BTS.

First time in Thailand, we choose this hotel because it is centralized to much of the attractions we want to go to, and Google map says it is 350m walk from the BTS. Ok Google is not smart enough to tell you that you need to climb many flights of stairs from BTS and escalator only goes up. I've few seniors in my group, getting the luggage down is not fun. The entrance of the "hotel" is in a side street, where the walkway is narrow, bumpy, and dimly lid at night. Oh ya "hotel", the establishment sign says service apartment.
Once you got rid of the luggages, and know the street a bit better is not too bad of a location. My advice, if you are using the BTS to access this place, look the the Novotel sign. It is same side street Novotel is on with lead you to the hotel.
In my opinion, this place was once a 4 star establishment by international standard. Today, time has took its toll. Facilities is clean, but show signs of worn. I can see that management tries to keep it up, but there is only so much you can do.
We booked 4 rooms, they upgraded 2 of the rooms for us for free to keep all of us on the same floor. Thank you for the arrangement! We appreciate this very much, however my room ceiling started to leak on the 3rd night of our 4 nights stay. (Lucky My room is the upgraded room, so the leak is no where near the sleeping area, and have a lots of room to move my belongings). I notified their very friendly and helpful staffs, I guess someone soon cleaned up the floor (wooden floor), but it kept on dripping water throughout the remainder of my stay. Annoying, and dangerously slippery for my elders walking around in my room!!!
The area is very convenient. BTS station a block away, local food stands beside the hotel parking exit, a few touristy restaurant, pub and massage, 7 eleven nearby, and a supermarket in the 2nd floor of the opposite building (ask the concierge). Close enough to the red light district, a few different markets and shopping center, but far enough that if you are not interested, these attractions are not in your (and your family's) face. Adult district patriants with their tricks might be too much a shock to younger kids and elderly.
Other amenities I've not really used, as I'm out in the city must of the time. So can't say too much about it.
All in all, if they classify themselves as 4 star, I can only rate them as 3.5 star. If they classify themselves as below 3.5 star it lower, I'll rate them as 4 star. The water leak didn't help, but the friendly and help staffs earned some points.

It’s not in as bad condition as some reviews would have you believe. Better amenities than average. That said it wasn’t really my cup of tea overall.

Got an executive room at £50 per night, the quality exceeds my expectation as I read reviews from others saying the hotel is of age, which seems ok to me. The room was super large, estimated for about 50 sqm including the bathroom, a changing room and a gip room which comes with a fridge and hob. The air condition was cool and there was no mosquitos. The roof bar and swimming pool was pretty awesome, loved the jacuzzi. The location is brilliant too. Highly recommend.

Spacious rooms, good location- close to shopping malls and transportation systems.. And what is most import for us is : soft comfortable bed with 4 soft pillows and good quality linens . Attentive personnel with perfect English.

Good stay overall. The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice. The rooms are spacious, with a small kitchen and living room area. The pool on the roof is really nice with an amazing view. The gym is very well equipped with new machines and equipments. The restaurants in the hotel are way too expensive for Bangkok. The hotel is centrally located in the business quarter, very close to the skytrain, which is convenient.

The room we had is spacious and clean. Looks old though, some minor wear and tear hear and there but all facilies are working well.

In hotel has a restaurant is called Ki-Shin that caters Japanese fusion cuisine. Free breakfast buffet from this restaurant is ok but looks the same everyday (no bacon!!!).

There is a swimming pool and jacuzzi on the roofdeck that has a good view as well especially at night. Free use of gym and sauna is a plus. Didn't try the spa in this hotel though.

Ok hotel. Not really worth the price. We got upgraded to the larger suit and it looked very old. The curtains had holes in it, the chair was ripped, the coffee maker had mold on it, you could tell the bathroom had mold on it and then painted over instead of cleaning it.

The people were very nice and friendly. If we had another choice I do not think we will stay here.

stayed here first time and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. First, it´s perfectly located between CYC Center (for all who are on business trip) next to the US embassy and also not far away from Nana Plaza the party aerea, second, the rooms are really great. Wonderful equipped, great kitchen and bathroom, comfi bed, clean.
Even giving 5 stars does not mean it´s the same class like a Conrad (next door or Shangri La) and the breakdast needs some improvement but the price value is just awesome. I cannot imagine that you will find easily something similar for that price. btw. the pool was also very nice.

A fine place to stay while visiting Bangkok. The location was good with easy access to major transit stations. Shopping was close by as well but just bring your walking shoes as this is Bangkok after all.
The hotel does have an on staff courtesy tuk-tuk that was nice to get around some of the more close by areas.
The rooms were very well appointed, clean with a kitchen, sitting area and big bathroom.
The staff was the best. Always asking if there was anything that they could do for you. They had great recommendations for dining, shopping and massage within walking distance.
I would highly recommend staying here again when my travels bring me back to Bangkok.

The staff is great! (very kind, friendly and professional)
And the hotel looks better than expected. A bit old furniture and design (for an European -like myself- I see this as an advantage. Everything has a vintage taste). We had a jacuzzi in the room (we took the studio/suite). The pool view is also spectacular!!!

Will definitely come again and recommend it to all my friends who come to Bangkok.

Good hotel/apartment style rooms in a great location. The rooms weren't as well kept as I would have liked but it wasn't bad. The rooms are VERY spacious which is nice! And they have a good cafe right next door. The indoor laundry machines were great too.

For the price, and location. It's nice the pool is okay to cool down. The breakfast buffet is good and plentiful. Make you leave tips after every meal. The staff will appreciated. Rooms are clean, same goes for bathroom. Get 2 free bottles of water per guest. HOTEL staff are friendly and helpful been staying there over a half dozen times. Always nice. Don't forget to tip the housekeeping.
