Chuckchansi Gold Resort and Casino is a very beautiful casino located only 45 minutes from Fresno. I love going there to eat first then play a few slots. They have a Great Variety of Restaurant's to choose from. The buffet has an Amazing view in the day if you enjoy looking out into the mountains and tree's. They have a lot of food to choose from. I also enjoy eating at the Noodle Bar. Very tasty food with friendly waiters.

The food is good, not the best but much higher quality (depends on the restaurant) than something in my home town. I really like their Japanese/Asian restaurant. I don't gamble since the cigarette smoke is too much but there are rooms that do not have any cigarette smoke in them. Would definitely go again for the food as I get free money to eat every week.

This was the view we had on our visit in July. It was very smoky from the fires but such a beautiful place. The room was nice. A little crowded. When I got up in the middle of the night I ran into a few things. Don't bother with the slots. We put in 50$ each and didn't win once. The food on the other hand was very good! We are moving to the area and sure we will be back.

Went for my friend's birthday. The restaurant, I forget what it's called, has a great buffet. It's the one that has the endless crab legs. Anyway, we all had a fantastic time and way too much to eat but so worth it. This isn't like the Las Vegas casinos, but still lots of fun. I was drawn to the roulette table and enjoyed watching other people win!

Very nice, clean, premium bedding, huge living space, spacious bathroom and dressing area, granite counter tops, massage shower head.

Nestled on top a hill, In a quiet, reserved setting, away from congestion and traffic, lovely place to rest after eight hours of trail running and hiking.

Upscale, reserved guests, it seemed, but I did turn in early so maybe if you're the party type, can find that too. Was about an hour drive from Yosemite National Park, but you'll enjoy every minute of the adventure.

After going to Yosemite, I was even more pleased at my choice of a resort away from the park. If you like tent living with zero lot lines between neighbors, portable potties and open trench toilets, stay at the park.

But if you're like me and prefer lovely hot showers, clean sheets and all the resort amenities, this resort is the best in the area. The fitness center is world class and I enjoyed using it to get the kinks out after a hard day of climbing.

I didn't go to the casino floor actually, so couldn't tell you about the gambling aspects, but it was very clean and great dining choices. I opted for buying fresh produce and making salads, etc. in my room as it had mini fridge with nice freezer, microwave, etc. in room, new and immaculate.

Chukchansi is one of our favorite places to eat, even driving an hour into the mountain. We love the buffet. The food is fresh and there's always plenty. Even crab legs, which are a clear crowd favorite. A wide variety of drinks and desserts. And beer and wine is $1 a glass. My personal favorites are the crab legs and shrimp (of course), prime rib, spring rolls, salad bar, and bread pudding. We're never disappointed and if you eat a plate or two of seafood, it's well worth the price.

After having a good but expensive dinner at the buffet we discovered the "Diner" which would have suited our tastes and budget better. We also found out that Rewards Club members get discounts after we ate. Good food. Good service. Many choices. Sign up for the Rewards Club before you eat.

I had fun with my girl at the casino I did Not stay in a room because I had to work the Service they save it can be better for the drinks. The place is nice I live like 30min far But I like the view. Like I said I had fun and Won some $$$$$

Nice clean casino. Everyone who works there is very nice. I would like to see less slot machines that have little square boxes with cartoon figures. Would like to see more updated slots with 777's and updated slots with Triple and Double Diamonds.
They have too many old slot machines. Need more updates machines of the older version. The last two times I was there it was really hard to find something I liked to play and didn't pay off well. But as the old saying goes, "it's a gamble", playing slots.

Great place to hang out and play. Also their food is pretty good. I recommend the buffet for anyone visiting here. Great prices don't go on the weekends their always packed with either people who are eating or playing games. All in all a great getaway place.

It was my 1st time playing in a casino and let me tell you that it was the best experience ever. The atmosphere is great and the employees very nice and friendly. I also watched other players play and I notice that people were having lots of fun and having a good time. I highly recommend this casino.

Having visited the other two closely Casinos Chuckchansi is by far the best. Current machines are popular and offer a fair give and take experience making for an exciting visit. Hotel call list doesn't respond well when rooms are scheduled to be filled on weekends. More coffee water service to machines will keep people at machines longer. Need more people on the weekend at the club and cashiers cage.

Went for dinner buffet and celebrated my eldest son's birthday. Delicious food with Lots of choices! All employees very friendly and helpful, especially our hostess Maria! The little ones had fun in the arcade and, my eldest came away as a slot machine winner. Would definitely go again!

I'm not a gambler but I do love the environment. It's a nice place but not Vegas! The rooms are nice and comfortable. I liked it and I would go again. To stay overnight though, I would have to get the free night coupon, the rooms are expensive considering the money you leave there!

We're about 3hrs away and when we do decide to splurge a little at the casino, we come here. Great atmosphere, new slot machines every time we come and their club member giveaways and benefits are always good. We're always surprised that every time we come back there's E-cash that has been given into our account from our last visit. When we get hungry there's a number of restaurants to choose from. We always enjoy the buffet which has so many variety of foods. When we want to eat lite, we head towards the Asian noodle bar. Our go to meal is their Pho or sushi. Excellent establishment for us. We always leave there happy either with empty pockets, or a little extra from the winnings. Looking forward to our next visit.

Disappointed. Roughly 70% of the Slot machines are OLD and OUTDATED. Asked a few workers at the casinos what was going on. Some workers tended to agree and apologized.
Casinos in CA work hard to gain visitors. Slots are a top money maker for their business and the experience should be fun, fresh and appealing to the senses.
Also, a great number slot machines were 'Out of Order' ...and the volume was purposely set on low, so no one can hear a thing. Customer service on the floor needs to improve. Not the best experience.

Have always loved our stays here; been visiting for many, many years. I'm not a big gambler so I go for the food (the buffet never disappoints), the nice hotel rooms and the heated pool/ jacuzzi. 😊 First day of our two-night stay so I'll post pics of the rooms and pool later. Today we just had a lazy drive up from Fresno and after check in we enjoyed dinner. 👍👍👍

A short, beautifully scenic drive from Fresno, Chukchansi is almost as enjoyable for non-gamblers. Upon turning onto Lucky Lane, one is impressed with how the designers managed to blend the tastefully constructed, earth tones of the building to it's environment. The well planned (and maintained) parking structure features several glass elevators, with beautiful views of the surrounding country. The casino itself is very open in design, with a bar at the center and abundant restaurants scattered around. The hotel is elgagant and comfortable, and the staff throughout the resort are friendly and helpful.

The cigarette smoke was horrible! I wish they had a No-Smoking ventilation section. My clothes smelled of cigarettes when we left and we were only there 2 hours or so. But the staff were all super friendly, so was the other customers. The buffet was kind of gross, the food was cold and the desserts tasted like they had been in an old refrigerator! On the other hand the servers were great and really friendly always right there to clear the plates. And No I wouldn't go back to the buffet it cost $19.99 a person it's only $10.99 on Mondays, we went on a Tuesday. We did win over $200.00 for only $45.00 played on the penny slots.
They do have a new gas/convenience store now and the gas prices were the best I've seen in a while $2.78 a gallon. For central Ca that's cheap!

Always clean and no foul smell. Food is good in all restaurants. Rooms are nice. Don’t like the fact that tribal has up front parking. Hard to win there. Few winners even when crowded. Drawings are big with few winners. Better to stop playing after you win any amount. If you’re still playing after 4 hours, most likely your losing. Been going there many years,hence, I’m comfortable with what I’m saying.

Went really to have prime rib and crab legs at the buffet...it was a really a good meal...and not bad for the price.. always enjoy going here... Usually win enough to keep me playing.. very clean the only thing that bothers me is the smoke.. I would recommend to everyone... It's a great place to have fun

Great experience with everyone at hotel and restaurants and bars. But security is overboard they I d me 7 times in 12 hours I would say they are more harassing guests then helping them. Asked one to get me a slot attendant and he actually said that's not my job.I never thought the big security power trip would ever stop me from going back but they did will never go back because of the security attitude of power.and that's sad still 5 star to the rest of the hardworking staff. But sorry I'm out for good my choice

Chukchansi is a very nice, clean place, that has new machines. The buffet is excellent. Goldfield's a sit down restaurant has excellent food . also. Maybe you will be luckier than me, but don't plan on winning any money. It has been a long time since I have won any money to talk about. On Thursday nights, I believe between 4 and 7, you can play a slot machine for free in hopes of winning enough points to win e-cash. If you don't win you still get a $5 food voucher.

This place is amazing! Loved it. Have to deal with smoke because it is a smoking casino. If you can deal with that then it is promised to be a great time. Very friendly staff, everyone with smiles on their faces. We had a great time!

Chukchansi has always been a enjoyable Adult getaway. Fast and courteous check-in and nice rooms. Always updating with the newest slot machines. Seniors prices at the buffet, lunch seems to be the most reasonable. Coffee shop, Goldfields, always a wait, depending on your card, and higher prices then other casinos. Dueces, the snack bar, is a great choice. The menu is small but the food is good, the service is fast and everyone is very helpful.
They have replaced the carpet. It is an exciting pattern, but not overwhelming. Overall Chukchansi is fun, if your over 21.

Fun, friendly place to gamble away your hard won earnings. Honestly, all the dealers I've met are friendly and courteous. It's always clean and the cocktail waitress comes by often. Have fun, you are probably going to lose, so don't lose more than you can afford and get upset. If you are going to get upset about losing.. DON'T GAMBLE! :)

Love this place... I didnt walk away empty handed. They gave me a nice
t-shirt and a nice wind breaker and a friend of mine goes there often and gets free rooms and he let me have one and let me tell you! Their rooms are Very Very Nice comfortable huge and clean. They also have very very good food in their restaurant. I had steak and eggs . The price was nice and the food was great.
Check it out for yourself.
One more thing.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. You cant go wrong there.
Just be sure and take your self control with you.

Get service. At great prices. I really enjoyed the two night stay. The buffet was awesome. They have an arcade game room for children and pool too. A great view out of our room.

Vintage Steakhouse is excellent. Our order was a little slow coming out to us and they gave us some appetizers to hold us over. All of our dinners were fantastic. Well worth the wait.

It's a casino for gambling. It has many different slot machines and a lot of table games. It has music and intertainment. It offers 5 different restaurants and their hotels are clean and comfortable. It has handicapped parking and entrance along with large clean restrooms. It is great for large groups or just by yourself. They have 3 bars that serve alcoholic beverages. You can also get free none alcoholic beverages. Great atmosphere and fun. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Upon arrival we were instantly greeted and welcomed. The bartender at the central bar was great and personal. Had a great time conversing with her. She also explained how some of the machines worked, which helped a lot. Eventually made our way to the buffet. $1 dollar beers at the buffet was a great touch. The food was great and we were stuffed before taking some money from the blackjack tables. Definitely will be back!

Plenty of room, very nice casino. Not as fun as it was before, slots very, very tight. I have only won one jackpot here on a dollar slot over 10 years ago!
Has several nice restaurants, good food. Nice rooms in hotel! But service/friendliness needs much improvement. It should have self serve drink stations. The one at the bar was removed when it closed during the scandal.

Enjoyed the California Market Buffet. Numerous choices, the food was fresh and service was good. Only thing that was a little confusing for the service personnel is how to tell if you have finished your meal or are simply get another item from the buffet. Our drinks were cleared from our table before we were done. I think they felt we had left and we were getting dessert.

The only real casino in Fresno county. Great atmosphere and food. Excellent customer service! I had an outstanding evening of gaming and dining. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I will be back for more as well as a stay at the hotel.

My husband and I were at a families cabin in Oakhurst and decided to stop at Chukchansi for fun. We had never been there before and we were pretty impressed. We loved the cabin style layout and everyone was very friendly. We would definitely stop there again.

Food was great. Not too smoky. The tables and slots seems to be abundant. I didn't gamble on this visit but if I have time would seem to be fun

Very Clean! Great staff! Over Thanksgiving holiday, too many parties in the rooms, keeping everyone up at night. Called Security a few times! I realize the hotel can not know if paying guests are sneaking in their friends, into their rooms. People are just ill-mannered, rude, self-centered and immature in their behavior! Staff didn't care at all, even though they did offer to move us into another room. Why should I have been inconvenienced? Trump & ICE should know about this place!

We at at the seafood buffet which was very fresh with a great selection. Everything we ate was delicious and the desserts to die for! We also had a room in the "old tower" needs to be updated a bit. The carpets and entertainment center need to go haha, but the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. Very happy with my stay. I would definitely come back.

This is a very nice casino and has lots of new machines. It is clean and the decor inside is pleasant. It is pretty large and has a nice vibe. I have been here on 3 occasions. I have enjoyed my time there despite not winning.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The service is great and has always been very clean every time we have gone. Even though it's a casino it's very family oriented as well with indoor/outdoor pool, arcade and many restaurants. It's in a remote location but is great because it's less than 30 minutes away from Yosemite National Park. I would highly recommend this place anytime.

Great hotel and casino. Rooms were nice, clean and spacious. Casino floor was clean and plenty of games. Tried the cafe for breakfast and dinner and thought the food was really good both times. We stayed there to go into Yosemite valley two days. It was nice coming back to a hotel after a sweaty day of hiking, buuuut it was kind of a far drive (1.5 HR one way). Next time I think we will stay closer, that has nothing to do with the hotel quality but just in case other people are interested.

For a casino it's actually not bad and does stand out from the rest. Fairly clean, plenty of different choices for food and they all actually taste really good. Everything from the buffet to the sushi. I like it better than Table Mountain or even Tachi which is much closer to me. It's well worth the drive if you want to relax and unwind a bit.

Nice, spacious rooms. The slot machines seem to pay out consistently. There are plenty of table games at reasonable buy ins. The restaurants are very busy so get your name in and you hey a buzzer so you can do some gambling while you wait for dinner.

Rooms are nice and views of the rolling foothills of Madera county are spectacular. It's always a clean, pleasant experience and we never hear noise from other rooms. My only loss of a star for this place is that if you stay multiple nights and you don't completely use up the soap or shampoo, they won't give you a new one the next day. I don't want to be that tacky guy that calls down and asks for more soap or whatever, but if there is even a sliver left over they won't give you a new one. It's the little things people notice about hotels, but overall a great place.

I enjoy this casino. It offers great restaurants with very reasonable prices. The games by experience is fun. On certain days of the week, it appears that the machines are tighter than weekend days. They have a wonderful hotel and gift shop. It is a very diverse casino. It is a great place to spend the weekend and your money!

I really like this hotel casino. It's really nice, the pool is huge and is indoors and outdoors, the restaurants are good, and it's in a nice location. I don't like that they closed down the Italian restaurant a couple of years ago because it was really good and it's pretty far from my house but it's still a neat place to check out =)

The casino was very nice and not crowded for a saturday. The Spanish 21 tables are hands down the best I have played at.The Master Card roulette was fun and a bit different. The only thing was being the first time the players club lacked any promotions untill you played a certain amount of money. But over all it was a nice experience.

Not a fan of gambling so my review will only be for our dinner at Goldfields. I ordered a burger which was delicious but messy and way too tall. Another person in our party who ordered a burger and had to eat it using a fork and knife. My wife order a salad which was very good and fed her for two meals. Service was really good and the staff was friendly.

Buffet dinner, love the option of Mongolian barbecue, as there was hardly any other vegetables options for a vegetarian like me. Desserts were great as usual. Staff did a good job, so we did not interact with him very much.

Nice hotel! The casino staff was very friendly and helped us find the right elevators and even walked us to them. Parking was plentiful. Casino itself was a little lack luster in terms of machine variety but that's comparing it to Vegas casinos where we were the night before. Overall, it was a great, clean experience.

Really nice big Casino. The was they had it decorated was pretty cool in the restaurant. Went to the buffet for Sunday brunch. The food and the service was great. They had every dessert you can think of, it was awesome. Love my sweets!

Has many great restaurants with delectable food, amazing and very helpful staff, a great place for having some fun and to relax. Has a arcade for kids, a hotel for travelers or someone who just would like to sleep somewhere else for the night. This is a place that's great for the whole family but mainly aims towards the more mature.

This Hotel and Casino is situated in the foothills of Central California. I have been to many hotel/casino resorts but NEVER one which is located on land more beautiful, inspiring and totally magic and breathtaking as this. I am Mezmerized by its splendor.
I want to let the owners know that whatever problems exist which keep public access to most of the land here from be developed And presented to everyone as a showplace of nature's wonders to do everything they can to make this happen. Native Americans this area, you owe not to yourselves and your fellow man to put your best foot forward on this. The federal government needs to make funding available for such a venture. Do It!!

We recently ate here with my family before my brother's wedding. My youngest has Celiac disease and a strict dairy allergy. The waitress and chef we had were WONDERFUL. After looking at the menu in dismay finding Nothing she or I could safely eat the waitress and chef both worked with us to get us a Delicious chicken dinner that was gluten and dairy free to share. I'm so thankful they went out of their way for us and we were able to enjoy our time with all of our out of town family. THANK YOU!!!

Small friendly casino with hotel. Very nice looking. No water faucet so you can track down one of a few beverage personal or pay almost $3.00 for a bottle of water. Discount game cards not always work at food or gift shops. No help in trying to get fixed, because when you take to guest desk they say it's working?

Nice place to win or lose your money. Things start opening up more about 5pm. We actually won a little money. But I can't give up my machine of choice. Lol. Tough to find a room at this place on the weekend or close to it. Rooms are not cheap.

Most of the staff are very professional, kind and knowledgeable of casino promotions. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Noodle bar was pretty good, room service was great. Gaming was exciting and fun. Overall great experience. Would definitely stay there again.

Took my dad for a night out we had a lot of fun. The machines are well maintained although I did see some that have been there since they opened and would be nice if they replaced some of the old dinosaurs that no one ever plays anymore with new ones. But they did have quite a few new ones so maybe they just haven't had time to update all of them yet. The whole casino was clean even the bathrooms which I appreciate when an establishment takes time to keep it clean. Over all it was an enjoyable night for both my dad and I.

I've been to Chuckchansi several times. Their staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurants have great food. And the hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Not to mention, the majority of the slots and card games are fun. There could be a few minor improvements but overall it's a great place for drinks, food, gambling, or all of the above.

We reserved our room under the pay n play. It wasn't explained to us how to use it correctly.We thought that the 40 dollars we had was put on our member card. It was resolved the next day for us. I would like to see something that would explain the card games to you. Other then that it was great.

The casino looks good overall, service was nice, polite and courteous although very shorthanded at the bar. Our party was 9 people strong and we were looking to have some drinks and dance. The one area to dance however was a little sad. Which isn't to say it was the casino's fault, it was simply that there were few people inside, and fewer dancing. Surprisingly enough they stop serving alcohol early, they closed the dance "club" early and we didn't want to drive home so we decided to get a suite only to find out we could only get a room if we were VIP's, because everything else was taken. It is what it is, we left.

Had a fantastic time here! Almost everyone is here to play slots so the pool is usually empty and very clean! It is in a rather isolated town, so the reception isn't always great, but that's part of the fun - the resort has its own restaurants, but if you need something more, Fresno is a half hour drive away! The bedrooms are clean, and so are the bathrooms. We stayed on the eighth floor and had an infinitely relaxing and quiet experience. I can't wait to come back next year!

Great place to stop by on the way to Yosemite. The location is far compared to other hotels or lodges near the park, however for the price is worth the stay. The hotel is little old but it is clean and well maintained. Alot of families stop by here for the weekend where adults gamble and kids go to the poolside.

Pros- Great resort, lively atmosphere, comfortable rooms, casinos with variety of food options, free valet parking!
If you are not camping in yoemitte, then a very good luxury option close to yosemitte.

Cons- Casinos are not very luxurious. An hour away from Yosemitte.

Very clean, beautiful, casino is fun, buffet has a lot of options but is lacking in taste, the best was where they cook the Asian food for you. The prime rib looked amazing and was cooked well bit had no flavor. The desserts were good and the drinks too

I would give this place 5 stars if not for the hotel register staff. They are rude. The will not help you in anyway . It's almost as if they enjoy being rude and apathetic to their customers. The valet crew they are awesome the bell people are great then you go into the hotel lobby and bam the atmosphere completely changes. I have come across a couple of good people at the check in desk but that's it. In fact
the are so bad I would almost stay somewhere else. That is if there was any place close enough. I don't understand why one of the first impressions that the hotel/Casino has is at check in and every time I have left that counter I have been upset and or so irritated I want to scream. For the most part it's a nice place to stay housekeeping they are so nice,the casino hosts are great but the check in crew put a huge black cloud over your stay here. So if you're going good luck at check in

I only stayed one night here and the hotel part was really good. The rooms look like they been recently redone or really well maintained. We didn't gamble in the casino but they are all the same, stick money into machine, lose said money, this didn't look different to any other casino.

We chose the casino as a stopping point for Yosemite. It was far cheaper than the town 15min closer to the park entrance and I'd happily stay here again.

First of all when I checked in mind you almost a 200 stay,the counter people do not great you as a valued guest , It must be management , next our room noise level was very loud next door you can hear through the walls kids running sceaming you can hear them talking like the walls were cheaply put together.I have visited since early 2006 and what appreciation not even one comp people spend money there and they forget that not a returnable place in mind, what no coffee maker, fridge too bad idea I will visit elswere

We have stayed at the hotel several times in the past and always had a good experience. We went last weekend and our room was horrible. Besides not having a coffee maker or refrigerator there were chewed up sunflower seeds on the floor one of the chairs had burn holes in it the other one had rips in the "leather". When we looked at the bed there was no mattress cover and the sheets didn't even fit. My husband called the front desk and we were informed housekeeping was running behind that's why the bed was like that. He asked that someone come up and look at our room and they were too busy. We paid $200.for one night. They offered us 10% off. We went to dinner at the noodle bar and had to stand in line for an hour and a half. The food was ok the menu is limited and was much better before closing. We were with 6 other people and almost everyone had leftovers that they wanted to keep but couldn't because there was nowhere to keep it. We spent a lot of money for the weekend and were very unhappy with the way we were treated when we had a complaint. In the morning we wanted coffee and we opened the book on the desk to find out how much it was and our book was empty not a single piece of information however the inside was colored with crayons. We will not be going back for quite some time. We were very disappointed.
