I stayed at this hotel while I was in the area for work my first week in Rochester. I called as I was driving in to ask if my co-workers and I could check in before normal check in time because we were working nights the hotel gladly accommodated us and let us check in around 6 a.m. when we arrived so that we could eat breakfast and go to bed before work that night. The room was very comfortable the beds were comfortable the staff was fantastic very accommodating. We stayed here for two days before moving to Syracuse to work in that area. My last day in New York we had to go back to Rochester for another project and the company booked us with this hotel again we had a bad experience but it was from the maids being very lazy. The first room that we went to I was going into the bathroom and notice dirty underwear in the closet so we went back downstairs and guest services moved us to a new room on the first floor. Walking in the room you're automatically overwhelmed would the smell of wet dog and still cigarettes so we went back to the front and they moved us again to the 5th floor. Going into this room the beds were on May there was trash everywhere towels on the floor someone had literally just ate breakfast and checked out in the room we went back downstairs the manager came out and apologize and offer to find us another room that they would go in and check themselves before sending us out to possibly walk out into another disaster. For our troubles the manager gave us 5000 points on our choice rewards account and also gave us $50 gift certificate to go to a restaurant down the street called bathtub Billy's and that place was awesome. The manager and staff did everything they could to try to write the situation and by the time they tried to get us the fourth room our supervisor called saying that we can leave early to head back to North Carolina and that's what we did. Even after everything that happened on our second go-round staying at this hotel I would still go back and stay at this Hotel again. 10 gold stars for outstanding customer service!

Great price. Room was a little worn, but spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. The beds and pillows were a bit uncomfortable.

The room was nice and clean, the staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient. My only complaint is I missed having scrambled eggs as an option for breakfast.

I think the price was too high for this room. The room was pretty worn. Cleanliness you can tell is not to priority throughout the entire property. The room was pretty dirty, the door looked like it had been pried open and busted in. The bed however was comfortable. The main lobby floor was horrible. I picked up glass outside from a broken light and took it in to the desk, the man told me he knew about it and already picked up glass but it was dark so maybe he missed some... Not possible this glass was almost the size of my hand and in the back main entrance. Breakfast was normal bagels, muffins, cereal, waffles, yogurt.

Good service... Decent beds... Very accommodating staff. Highly recommended.

I really like this location. The convenience of having a Red Lobster next door as well as a Sunoco Convenient Mart saved traveling time. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were kind and courteous.

Had a great stay at this comfort inn in (greece) Rochester n.y. the room was large, the bed was comfortable. There is a full breakfast in the morning. Freash coffee and tea always available. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

The room didn't smell very fresh, and couldn't close the curtains to sleep..no instructions as to how to operate the 'behind the sheers' blind which we didn't know was there..result = light in our eyes all night. Mattress springs old and pokey..good breakfast, though. Receptionist not informative, not interested in our questions regarding the curtains' not closing... disappointing as we usually enjoy staying at the Comfort Inn and Choice Hotels.

Besides the odor of marijuana coming from the rooms of the other guests, we had a great stay.

We stayed here a couple of years ago and we were unhappy. Old hotel, in need of improvement, smelled of smoke, bathrooms were lacking, some outlets didn't work. We (accidently) booked it again this year for the same annual event and I was very concerned. But this time everything was completely fine! Still a dated hotel for sure, but everything was clean, no smell of smoke, room was fine, breakfast was good and James at the front desk was wonderful. After this year's good experience and the good price (the rest of our group paid way more at a nearby hotel), we will very likely book this hotel again next Feb when we go back.

Rooms were very nice and clean, food tasted pretty good but i felt that the staff could be little bit more helpful. Still really good hotel and would reccomend for people to visit

On a recent visit we were given a room that smelled like a cross between old sneakers and a gerbil cage. The toilet could barely flush and the maid service on day 2 came in but didn't make the bed. They have done away with replacing towels left on the floor, and have a policy of replacing them only every three days. While not horrible, it was solidly mediocre at best.

We stay at choice hotels whenever we travel and are usually quite happy. The front desk staff were very nice, but the room was dingy, smelly and the bed was uncomfortable. Disappointing

Since it was the evening it was nice and quiet. Asked some questions and they were polite about it. I wouldn't mind staying overnight there.

Convenient to all amenities, restaurants, spacious room, good breakfasts, but their egg patties were tasteless and the bathroom was very small.

Paul, the desk clerk was awesome. I only wish I could be as happy with the hotel itself. There was a constant smell of smoke in the hallway and room (516). When my husdand and I walked into the lobby last night, it reeked of cigarette smoke. The hotel is supposed to be 100% smoke free but that definitely was not the case. Water pressure in the shower would slow to a trickle making it aggravating when trying to wash my hair. The carpet is very dirty. Our feet were filthy when we stepped in the shower. We do appreciate that our bill was adjusted because of the water pressure issues. That was a very nice gesture.

This is a great place to stay i would always stay here the staff are very friendly and they take good care of me

We had to leave at 5am for a fishing charter.
Jamie made sure breakfast was ready for us at 430am.
Breakfast is very good.
Get a room on the back side if road noise keeps you awake.

We stayed 3nights room was basically clean but in corners and behind night stand rher was dirt and some cereal they missed when cleaning . The carpet seemed realitivey new and clean, room had good air and was quiet. Staff was very nice. Food was ok but the eggs they serve good be much better. But wood stay here again for the convenience.

We've been staying here for a few years now, while we're at the Lilac tournament. The rooms are always clean, and the staff is always friendly.

Check in was fast. Friendly gentleman at front desk at 2am. Rm's are alright. Piece of note paper on the floor next to bed tells me they didnt take a good look around. Bed seemed to be clean though. Breakfast put something in my stomach.

Value priced and pet friendly. Room is clean and in good shape. Staff is friendly. We usually stay here when in town. The lower rating is due to a recent change in the Internet service. It is no longer secured and some business sites and tools like VPNs seem to be blocked at a local proxy. The performance is pretty bad and usable only for facebook or google searches. I ended up using my phone as a hotspot for business connections.

Front desk attendant was are great guy helped with picking out a place to eat. Watch the area it is in. Wifi was good and breakfast was on par.

It's definitely a older Hotel. The place could use some updating, but otherwise it's a clean will priced place to play your head at night.

The complementary breakfrast and other amenities were up to par. My only complaint was that there was a strange smell throughout the room. Not sure if it was the air conditioning unit or something else. Otherwise, it was nice for the rate per night.

The staff was wonderful and welcoming. The rooms were clean and tidy, but the furniture was quite beat up. The curtains don't close. The bathroom was tiny. Breakfast was average. I was not disturbed.
