Take time out for yourself with a round of golf on the challenging 18-hole golf course.

My boyfriend and I booked a 2 night stay through great little breaks, it was all inclusive which was reasonably priced. The food isn’t great, similar to a weatherSpoons rather than the 5 star dining experiences we were lead to believe it was. The Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Amy and Sophie from the bar/restaurant who couldn’t have been better!! Thank you both of you girls for making our stay so lovely. Our bath had a CONSTANT running leak of freezing cold water, which quickly made my bath cold, which was quite inconvenient and not very 4 star. I see what the other reviews mean about the furniture looking tatty, but the outside area was so picturesque it made up for it.
We Would return, if they can sort the leak out in the bathroom as it really was an issue.

Room was nice. Bed comfortable. No thermostat in room so too warm for us. Good choice of breakfast and tasty when we eventually got it, but service was terrible. Waited 25 minutes to have our breakfast order taken and no hot beverages offered in this time. Thanked the receptionist on leaving with no response. Maybe we were just unlucky on our visit.

A great place for a decent Sunday lunch and really any other mid week meal. Good selection on the menu. Seldom busy and not a bad selection of beer considering it's not a pub. My dad left his phone at the table. The staff dutifully kept it for him and handed it back. So honest staff too.

Golf is great. Beers and such is overpriced but for Golf it is good. Well maintained courses and not tricky holes really, very straight forward which is good for game improvement.

My son's took me there for mothers day lunch in March. Parking easy and the grounds are lovely at the hotel. Restaurant service was excellent, however menu needs improving for the price and the restaurant lacked atmosphere. However this improved as more people came in to eat. Maybe some gentle background music would help.

Nice location but the experience was let down by an extremely miserable member of breakfast staff. I can't recall a single time she smiled and she looked like it was the last place she wanted to be.

Went for an early fathers day lunch, the food was amazing and the staff are really pleasant.
The atmosphere was very relaxed and very reasonably priced, we will definitely be returning

We have just had my daughter's wedding reception here and I could not fault the service at all. The staff were amazing and looked after us so well. We had a few little hitches that they ironed out without any fuss whatsoever and were so lovely.
I would recommend this to anyone. The food was lovely and plentiful.
My only (small) criticism was that the ladies loos were not very welcoming. There was no hand cream or tissues; it lacked the little touches. I had noticed this the day before so took a basket of toiletries for the lady guests which went down really well. Just a little tip for the future.
Overall an amazing experience. Thanks

Visited here for a 10th wedding anniversary party. Visibility of staff an issue on arrival but I couldn't fault the service and the taste of the food and buffet. Courtyard could have done with some care and attention. Would come here again.

9

Lovely venue for a social event amidst the golf course. Attended 2 such events within a couple of weeks or so. We used the same function room which was well decorated & perfect for the number of guests attending with easily accessible toilet facilities, also in excellent condition. The food & drink both were top notch. Customer service was great - the staff were most accommodating. Highly recommend.

Reasonable 3 course meal. Starter of beetroot/blue cheese - pastry tough. Risotto delicious, side salad - very uninteresting -a plate of leaves! Dessert - pear tatin - tasty but pastry not cooked underneath. Could have been so much better. Probably won't return

Only played the golf course - ok condition for winter. Greens were quite slow and a couple of them in terrible state and fairly muddy throughout the course (there had been a fair amount of rain for the week before).

Attended for a social event and stayed over in the hotel. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. However at around 530am the hotel heating came on making a loud buzzing noise. The room quickly became stuffy Bathroom was poor. No water pressure in the shower and only a dribble of water came Breakfast ok. But probaby better off going to the local Witherspoons. Hotel felt tired, aging decor.Hey

The rooms are dated. The tv only has one channel you can't change it with the remote or on the side of the tv. Showers are good nice and hot. There's a good choice for breakfast and it's all nice staff are friendly.

I had my 50th Birthday Party at the Coulsdon Manor on 15th Oct 2016. From start to finish Malcolm and Barbara could not have been more helpful. The room was lovely and both could not have been more helpful.
I would definitely recommend the Blenheim room for an event as the bar is in the room so everyone is involved.
Thank you for a fantastic time

We stayed on a Saturday night when a wedding and reception were being held there and we weren't informed of it. We only booked the day before . We were in a room over-looking the reception room. Naturally, the doors were all open, the music and the attendees spilled into the court yard until midnight. Then, the chatter of lingering bar patrons kept us awake until 1:00am. It's a shame we weren't put on the other side of the hotel.

During the evening, children were running all over the hotel, chasing each other and barely missing us as we walked to and from the pub area, where we went for an evening meal. It was difficult to find a place with clean seats and away from a group of workmen who needed showers! All of the arms of the chairs were matted with dirt, probably from workmen.

We finally chose a table in a small attached dining area. I had to close the doors to the garden because of all of the people smoking outside of them. The meal was satisfactory.

The room we had was furnished with a nice bed but the wooden furniture was from the 60s. The bathroom was nice and modern with a large bathtub.

There was a tea kettle and Tea with UHT milk and some biscuits.

Some of the rooms are very good, but most of them are worse than going to travellodge. The restaurant could be much better for a 4* hotel. The service is nice but the food is not on the level. I gave 3* only as they have some really nice rooms

Looks very nice, it could be a bit cleaner though. The whole place is just amazing but some better management is required to put it back in shape and make it amazing

6

A decent hotel just by the golf course that was let down somewhat by some poor decor in the rooms and particularly uncomfortable pillows, which can never be justified in a hotel, I think.

Attended the Coulsdon Manor hotel as part of a work function. Seemed like a good venue, in pleasant surrounding. Nice view over the golf course with a couple of beers, but I didn't spend much time indoors and can't comment about the rooms.

Nice place, lovely grounds especially if you like golf.
restaurant staff and front desk were lovely and helpful.
Bar staff a bit slow and having ordered our drinks then sat in the restaurant....I had to ask for our now poured drinks could be brought to our table.
Very clean however think any guest would want more than I pillow on their bed...only 2 pillows for a double and a few tatty scatter cushions..they dont help you sleep???
Bathrooms could do with updating..the shower was adequate but old and the hairdryer must have been invented just after electricity was discovered.
Would visit again and would love to see these improvements made.
