Good hotel : nice big clean rooms, access to the beach, good view.
However, not much to do outside of the hotel (unless you drive to Corfu, which is nice).

Room was dirty and old. Shower doesn't was properly. Food is not various enough. The territory of the hotel is really big, but it's not enough for 4* and such price. They try to clean the rooms every day, but it's impossible to make such old rooms clean

Bigger hotel with really beautiful garden, own pebble beach, several clean pools, (water)sports, nice bay view, activities and evening concerts. 2+1 room is surprisingly big enough, but the interior has many disgusting details (rust, constant dirt, old sticky furniture). Room wasn't at the European 4* standard at all. WiFi is also free at the rooms or near pools, but quite weak and somewhere missing. But usable for us (not common in Greece).

Staff is partly helpful and kind, partly annoyed and not friendly to guests. Some services are overpriced (drinks, longer usage of the room before evening flights etc.). Served food is OK, there is a very nice sea view from the dining room, but it's a very crowded spot. You can also visit tavernas nearby.

This hotel should be a nice holiday spot for families or couples, but something needs to be improved very soon. Ideally complete reconstruction of rooms for the start.

4/6 or 3+/5 for very nice exterior area.

Pros (3)
-Nice staff
-Decent food, not much variation though (6/10)
-Beautiful location, close to Kerkyra and amazing beach + view

Cons (4)
-Power went out twice for about a whole day
-No variation in food, if you stay for longer than 7 days you basically eat the same stuff again
-Old hotel building and rooms
-All inclusive drinks are mixed with water, so a coca-cola is like the cheapest brand mixed with water to keep the costs low

Overall not really happy with our stay, I give it a 6,1/10

Pretty and tidly, awesome view from the balcony in the lobby not last time im going to stay here, the beach is also lovely all through the first few feet of the beach is rocky, but after the few feet of rocks it becomes sand and it is nice and soft, also the ocean water is lovely seablue. The food is Alright could be better but not bad at all. I can differently recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great food, pleasant staff. Beach is well taken care of. Rooms are pretty tidy. On the other side, the internet is bad, only one hour free and than you have to pay 8€ for four hours of access. Ridiculous!

The hotel Chandris in Dassia (Corfu) is somewhat older, but still nice.
Greek people are very friendly. Shopkeepers are not pushy unlike their counterparts in some other countries (e.g. Egypt, Tunesia, Turkey,...)
Beverages are expensive 3,60 euros (2012) for a bottle of water in the hotel dining room.
Just across the street from the hotel the same costs about 80 cents in a local store.
The seats at the beach are not free: you have to pay 3 euros (2012) to use them.
The sewage system seems to be outdated throughout the island.
Traffic is calm and Greek drivers are disciplined.
We will be visiting Corfu again.
