The rooms are much more modern than the price would lead you to believe. Over all it was very clean and a good experience

6

Good inexpensive place to stay for the night. Good breakfast with cereal, yogurt and pastries. Like the cappuccino also. No coffee maker in room though. Property needs updating but it was clean. Beds were comfortable. Good variety of channels on TV. We enjoyed our stay.

A little nicer than I expected for a place with "econo" in the name. They remodeled within the past 5 years so the rooms are pretty nice.

Great Staff very clean and cozy. A great place to stay with great room selections and size and the beds are great as it has gone through a recent renovation overall a great place to stay with family and getaways.

I was a little concerned when we pulled up to the Econo Lodge, it looked a bit like a gas station motel, but upon entering, we found the hotel to be clean, the staff friendly, the time renovated and all in all a pleasant experience. It's off the beaten track a bit, no swimming pool or hottub. But great for a night sleep.

7

Good hotel, it's nice and clean and a budget friendly hotel. No pool or other cool ammenities but if you're staying for businesses, this is a good place. The beds were comfy and it wasn't outdated like many other cheaper chain hotels. Decent breakfast too. The only thing kind of shady is that they actually CHARGE your credit card $100 for incidentals and then put it back in if there's nothing stolen or broken..a few signs around the room saying that if you steal it, you buy it. Jeez. Get over your $2 starched towels and sheets!

8

Not a bad spot at all. I had to change my booking at another motel in grand Forks, and got this one quick. It was pouring rain and 49 degrees. We got the suite in the back for a little extra for 2 weeks. 2 kings, and the room is very big! Heater as well as a.c. works. 4 stars because ,no coffee maker in the room, and the bathroom is tiny, so difficult for a wheelchair. But it wasn't a handicapped room, so no biggie. Even when our 3 year old came to visit, there was lots of space for her to play between the beds. And there is coffee in the lobby but it's a long way from the other end. It staff was great and the folks that stayed were all wonderful guests. I would recommend if you don't need a lot if extras but so need a safe comfy place for a fair price.

6

If you are like me and love to save money on a weekend getaway. This is not the place.
If you are like me and read the reviews but think people just complain because things didn't go their way just avoid room 210. Horrible smell shower hot water was great but I felt any wrong move the shower would fall through the floor. Beds are comfy, nice size room. But for 65 bucks just pay the extra 10 dollars for a better place else where.

Rooms have recently been remodeled. Everything was very clean. Economy Lodge is our number one choice because we can also bring our dog with for a small fee. Close to the interstate and multiple gas stations and restaurants.

Econolo Lodge is a very nice hotel. The service was nice and the breakfast was good. The only problems I ran into was that the cappuccino machine wasn't working well and the air freshener in the hallways was a bit overpowering.

This hotel is quite nice for the price. My only complaint is the cleaning of the rooms: my room had skittles on the ground and stains on the bed frame. The sheets were pristine however. I recommend!

The staff seems polite and the rooms where just remodeled. After reading the other reviews it's hard to believe this is the same hotel. Maybe it's under new management, either way it's a good hotel.
