Great location but room is lacking for the price and reputation, amateur renovation

Like all reviews this is a personal review of my own experience. If you have personal things you require for a stay at any property you should make them known upon booking and if something is not to your liking upon arrival you should make it known before settling in. That way the property can try to accommodate you accordingly because it may be something as simple as a misunderstanding or something that can be provided upon request.

Also I stayed at both properties which I posted a review for on Booking.com

I loved it. I had a lovely view of the mountains so I got to sit in a comfy chair and drink coffee while I wrote out some emails and contacted family. My room had a fully functional kitchen including a dishwasher which I didn't fully utilize but I loved knowing I had the option. There was a little kitchen table as well which was sooo cute. The bathroom was really nice, the blow dryer was in the drawer vs a wall mount if anyone goes looking for it.

Okay but the bath tub had a Jacuzzi????!?!?! 👌😩😩😩👌😩👌😩👌😩👌👌 I'm not sure if all the units have one but oh my god. First of all make sure all the jets are submerged so it doesn't make water mess everywhere, and second they are quite loud which isn't disturbing because you're the one getting the awesome jacuzzi spa time but I don't recommend using it after 10pm just as a courtesy to other guests because the sound does travel to the other units a bit.

One thing to note is that this is a party town so if you are noise sensitive bring ear plugs for sleeping or the hotel does provide them on request. This location isn't on the main drag though so it doesn't get as loud as the other places can be. It is still totally central for shopping and wandering though.

I love this place and these guys and their properties will always be my Whistler go to.💕 The staff are so welcoming and friendly.

Something for people to note**
The manual for the hotel isn't kept in the room for Covid so if you want to operate the fire place please ask the reception because it is a gas line- they will tell you how to operate it in a safe manner. Stay over things like making beds and such during stays are not being done during Covid for your safety and staff safety. It's a great hub for exploring though so if you want specialty items they are available throughout the village and the hotel is still happy to provide new towels and such upon request I'm sure- they just can't enter your room and do the inbetween day tidy up/room resets services.

Clean rooms , right in the village, close to restaurants and bars! Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I always stay here when we're Whistler. Love it and we will be back soon! Thanks again!

So far so good. Parking wasn't easy to find as it is located under another hotel. Facing the Village so lot sure about noise levels

An absolutely gorgeous place to stay! Personal Sauna, 2 bathrooms, and an upstairs bedroom made it a wonderful place to get away. Full kitchen so we could cook breakfast and 2 tvs so we could watch tv and enjoy it in bed! I will gladly go back again!

We booked the hotel on a whim for a small weekend getaway and came up with no expectations. The room is wonderful! Big, spacious, accommodating. 2 bathrooms! Definitely could have accommodated another couple or children. The kitchen is full stocked, there was a sauna in the room which we did not expect. The room was clean (with the exception of a dirty towel but it was likely due to the heavy duty machinery of the cleaning service, easily replaced) Something I'd definitely book again for a snowboard trip or even another summer weekend. We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Fantastic location. The hotel is central to everything is Whistler Village, and great for walking around. The hotel is getting older, and it's starting to show in some places, like an older elevator, loud air conditioning, and worn carpets. Staff have been very kind and quick to help.

This was a cozy and small hotel with less than 10-15 min walking anywhere. The room we stayed at was spacious with two stories. The staffs were friendly and informative. The only minor thing we had problem with was there’s not a closer ramp for our stroller and we always had to loop around. And also the wifi was rather slow. But overall for the decent price it was a nice stay!

Wonderful location and spacious suites. Only issue was a barely audible low hum that I suspect was machinery or air circulation in the hotel. However the rumble could be described as a small annoyance at most. Overall a great stay

Had a couple of issues with our stay at the Executive Inn Whistler Village location. Main issues were related to a parking misunderstanding as well as an unexpected location change to the Executive Inn Moutainside location. Our hotel change was not communicated prior to our arrival so we struggled to get to the correct location late at night. We were told our room change included a free upgrade although there was not a price difference in the new room and the one we originally booked. A couple other minor issues experienced were construction nearby, steep stairs in the new room to get to the loft bedroom, and the hot tub being drained for the last couple of days of our stay. Beyond all of these issues I gave the hotel a 5 star review due to the staff working hard to fix our issues. The corporate customer service compensated us more than enough for our negative experience in the hopes that we would stay with them again. I worked with Janet and Joe on the corporate customer service team. They fixed the situation and treated us really well. At the beginning of our stay I felt like we were getting thrown around last minute and not being treated as valued customers. By the end of this I can say that I will stay with Executive again in the future.

Great location, price, room size. Free WiFi, gym, pool and just a 1 minute walk from whistler base. Highly recommended

Smaller hotel in the heart of the village. The room seemed like it had been updated recently. Included a kitchenette and kurig in the room. Wasn't clear from the website we booked but you do get access to the pool and hot tub at the sister hotel across the street which was a bonus. Bed was very comfy.

Great location. Terrible bathroom, the door doesn't open greater than 12 inches because of the toilet. Its incredibly awkward

Awesome location. Room included balcony and wood burning fireplace. Only drawback was the stay only included one log even though we stayed multiple nights.

Stayed at mountain side, great location within feet of both gondalas. Upgraded to one of the lofts with a kitchenette, only missing an oven but kitchen had everything you need to cook most meals. Only downside is the bedroom is upstairs and bathroom is down, stairs can be tricky at night after a couple drinks.

Like an aging glam rocker, wasn't particularly haute when it was young, and doesn't age like fine wine. The electric range is old, sofa bed is hard, the soap sucks and Jacuzzi tub jets sound like a garbage disposal, BUT; the the staff is super helpful and flexible, especially about parking, the location is AWESOME, and the price is right. It had everything you need, and even if it looks old, it works. Also: Personal. Walk. In. Dry. Sauna. HOW IS THAT NOT AWESOME. I'm coming back. (p.s. Executive Inn; can I get a free night for this sweet review?)

I had to clean dusts on the floor and the furniture by myself.

Staffs’ bad attitudes. Very bad.
I recognized that it wasn’t a hotel due to their behavior.

Hottub? If you choose the Village side, don’t even think about it. And it doesn’t have shower facilities.

Ah! You have to bring your slippers and tooth brush.
It was my first time that an accomodation didn’t provide a tooth brush or slippers.

Noisy heater as much as I couldn’t sleep while it was on.

And the room was too dark!!

Three stars only for its location.

Last weekend we had a marvelous stay at the Whistler Executive Inn. The loft style room was fabulous. We had everything we needed and then some. The staff are the best in town - they go the extra mile! A big thank you to the general manager Naheed who really made our stay fun! It's a perfect location close to the village stroll. All the pubs, cafes and the lifts are just a quick walk away. Parking is right under the hotel which makes for easy access getting in and out with all your ski gear! Thanks again Naheed and Whistler Executive Inn... we will see you soon!

The rooms were clean and spacious. The kichen had practically everything needed to cook. The room was delayed a bit however we were upgraded and offered complimentary parking, a bottle of wine, and a box chocolates. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay here and would stay here again.

The room was very small but clean. I did not like that the bathroom was so small and it was very difficult to even get in to it because the door hits the toilet. The service was good. I was with two other couples that each got a room. Both of their rooms were upgraded complimentary but ours did not. That was disappointing. Expensive parking but my car was safe.

Well situated in the village. Our loft rm had one big issue: The loft bedroom was HOT, as was our friends' room. Everything else is good.

The rooms were nice. One thing I was disappointed with was the fact that the pool/hot tub was separated from the hotel so we had to cross the street in our bathing suits and flipflops. We were not made aware of this until we arrived at the hotel. I wish it was better advertised.

This hotel falsely advertises that it has a pool. We stayed at the Executive and it says it has a pool online but you actually have to walk to the mountainside hotel to use it. Would have been nice to know. Hotel itself was a little grungy. Good location though.

Rooms are small and cramped at times. The loft bed is difficult to get in and out of for couples. Could use with more maintenance but it is clean and does the trick for a place to stay for somewhat cheap by Whistler standards. Some improvements needed but it is an adequate place to stay

Excellent hotel. We stayed in the studio loft suite and it was great - very roomy and lots of light from the windows. It's also right in the middle of the Whistler Village and also very close to the chairlifts.

Have yet to use the pool or hot tub but looking forward to trying it tonight.

Last minute reservation was relatively cheap. Room was beautiful and comfortable. I want to steal the mattress. Underground parking was convenient. The bathroom was awkward because the door hit the toilet and wouldn't open the whole way. Would be hard for a larger person to get into. Staff was very helpful and clearly take pride in their work. 10/10 will book again.

The stay was great, it was right in whistler village. Everything is a 2-20 minute walk away! The only down fall was parking. There is limited parking in the village so there are parking lots that are a15 mintue walk away (free parking). The room had a good veiw of the village and cute kitchenette. It's such a cute city, I fell in love.

Room was great, loft style. Small but cozy. Great balcony over looking a main walk way in the village. Lots of dust on surfaces and walls, cigarette butts on the ground on the balcony, an empty beer can too, no sugar in the coffee basket, either morning, the bed didn't get made up when the homemakers came in 1st morning. Generally it is an ok place for the price.

Being my first time in Whistler, it was a little hard t navigate but the staff of Whistler Inn & Suites was very helpful and provided a good map as well as directions. Once at our hotel we found the closeness of the entrance perfect. The room itself was gorgeous and stocked perfectly with everything we needed. Everything was nice and clean and the staff was very respectful and polite.
